Once in a house lived unicorn stallion, Glidestar Shine who was the Head of the house and his wife, Glory Shine, a well-educated and strong unicorn mare. They together lived happily in the house.
The couple's house was not so big, but small and beautiful, which never appeared to be in a very bad condition as they always got it repaired in times of need. Their bond was so strong that it was very difficult to break for anyone who would try to do so.
However, many ponies, including some of their neighbours and even their relatives, tried hard to break their bond and separate them from each other secretly, by putting spells on them. The couple was unaware of these secret activities. They welcomed their guests and treated them with kindness and served them with generosity. But unknown to the couple, these guests, who pretended to be good ponies, were actually very jealous of the couple. So they grabbed the opportunities of coming to their house and put spells on them. They put so many spells on them that one day the whole house became haunted. Slowly, it became a fear to live in the house. Stepping out would be relieving. Cobwebs could be seen in the store room, which the couple had to clean everyday and it had become their regular activity. Their house, which once was a comfortable place to live in, had now become a frightening and horrible place for them.
One such day, Glory kept a cup of coffee on the dining table for Glidestar. Glidestar, who was under a forgetting spell, didn't even notice the cup of coffee kept for him on the table. Glory forgot to cover the cup of coffee, as she was also under a forgetting spell. The house was fully haunted. Then a spooky sound came from the table and a ghost came out of the cup of coffee. After that what happened is very scary.
The whole room became covered with a dense fog and the coffee disappeared from the cup, making the cup empty. This scared the couple. They both ran away from that room as fast as they could, but all the other rooms also, were covered with fog. Needless to say, their whole house was covered with a very dense fog. They didn't know what to do. They somehow stepped out of their house and waited for five minutes. Five minutes later, they entered their house and were relieved to see that the fog was gone.
After a month, the couple visited an astrologer, Mystic Glow and told her all that had happened.
"This means that you are under a spell. Did you recently do anything good to somepony, your neighbour, relative or somepony like that?" asked Mystic.
Glidestar said, "Yes. We did. My sister, Brightstar had come to our house recently. She asked us if we could help her with her Job, which is, Graphic Designing. She actually works on Fashion Style Designs. We agreed to help her and she told us that she would come to our house every Friday to improve her Designing Skills. But since then, there is no sign of her. We are very confused. Maybe it was she who put a spell on us, I guess."
Mystic replied, "I know that you're a very happy couple. So many ponies may be secretly jealous of you. They only pretend to be good ponies. I also admire you for your kindness and generosity. Not only your sister, but some of the other guests too, whom you welcomed and served politely, put spells on you. That's why the effect of the spell has become severe. As a result, you are facing these types of problems. But don't worry, you won't die even if they put a dying spell on you. This is because you are blessed by Princess Celestia and you won't die so easily, no matter how severe the spell is."
The couple said happily, "Thank You. We are grateful to you for always being at our side."
Mystic happily said, "Thank you too."
The couple was in a very good condition. Their children lived in Canterlot, Princess Celestia's place of residence and the couple's two children were Princess Celestia's students. The couple's Parents were in a very good condition of health. There was no need for so much tension. But this frequent spell-casting by their neighbours, relatives and many other ponies made them extremely tensed. But as soon as they started being careful, all the effects of the spells started to disappear, gradually. Soon, the effects completely disappeared. They were once again in a happy state. But this time they never let others know about their good and happy condition. So this time no more ponies tried to put spells on them in order to put their happy life to an end.
