	These events take place about a week after Pinkie was put away.

"Twilight, Princess Celestia sent you a letter," Spike said, "Strangely, she sent a cupcake with it."

"A cupcake?" Twilight asked. "Well I'm sure she has her reasons. Spike go into town, and get some more quills while I read this." Spike did as he was told, after handing her the letter, and cupcake. Twilight realised how hungry she was and began ate it as she read:

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

I must inform you the your old friend has escaped. Knowing her you know the seriousness of the situation. She could be any where, so please be careful Twilight. We assume she is headed to Ponyville, for revenge.

There were a few drops of blood where the rest of her name should be. 

"Goodbye Twilight," a high pitched voice said. It was the last thing Twilight heard before slipping into unconsciousness.
