In a old laboratory, there was a old man who was sitting at his desktop typing away on his keyboard at a giant super computer working on something very important. Laying next to him was a small dark gold device that can fit around a person wrist. It was hooked up with a cord next to the super computer, as new data was flowing into it.
This old man was Tommy Oliver, a member of the Power Rangers. Defenders of the innocent and ultimate force against all things evil in the universe. He spent all of his life fighting evil when every it arise and knew he was reaching the end of his life, and now he needed keep the legacy of the Power Rangers alive.
He knew of the existence of other worlds and that there are evils their that not even him and the other Rangers can't reach. So he decided to let a new generation of heroes fight against these evils.
Tommy spent the past few weeks working on upgrading his Master Morpher with the data of everything Power Rangers in the known universe. So that the newest team of Rangers can use the abilities of their predecessors and added in the history of the Powers Rangers, so they can understand what the other Rangers stand and fought for.
He also found a world perfect too, for his plan to create new Power Rangers. He was a bit sceptical about finding out about this world but it seemed ordinary enough. But never the less, it would do. Because as long as there is evil in the world, the Rangers will be their to stop it.
Once the data transfer was completely, Tommy removed the cord from the Master Morpher and grabbed it.
"Alright then..." Tommy said opening the portal to the other world. "It's been a good ride, but it's time I leave this to the next generation of Rangers." He said holding the Master Morpher in his hand looking at it one last time, thinking about everything he did as a Power Ranger and all the battles he faced with his comrades and fellow Rangers.
"Who ever receives this Morpher and it powers..." He then tosses the Morpher into the portal and it disappeared from his sight alone with the portal. "I wish you the best luck."
"Go Go Power Rangers." Tommy said with a bright smile.
Sentry Resident- Morning
"Flash! Flash wake up! Your gonna be late for school there young man!" A middle age man shouted as he knocked his door.
"R-Right! I'm up dad!" Flash shouted while getting up from bed. He got up as he quickly got ready for the day. He went down stairs to find his mom and dad and his little sister was there eating breakfast."Morning Guys."
"Morning son." His father greeted. This is Trail Blazer. His looked exactly like flash except he had red hair and a beard and looked a bit older."Did you had a good night sleep?"
"Yup, I slept like a log last night." Flash told while sitting on the chair.
"Well considering you been up playing video games all night on what we were hearing." His mother said. Her name is Misty Vail. She was a young average adult with her looks showing she was in her 20ths and had white skin and blue long hair.
"What can I say. I'm a gammer and loves the thrill to play."
"I thought you were a officer?" His sister Scootaloo asked. She had orange skin and violet short hair and purple eyes.
"That is a different gole. Gaming is also a gole but it also a refreshing thing to do to keep your mind of things." Flash told his little sister while eating his breakfast.
"So, Flash could you give me ride to school if your going. I really gotta get there quick." Scootaloo requested
"I would love to, But it's in the store and I was on my way to get it before I go go to school. So sorry squirt." Flash told her making her sad.
"Don't worry Scootaloo. I'll drop you off on the way since I gotta go go to work." Her mother said.
"Thanks mom! Your the best!" Scootaloo said hugging her.
"We can talk later. Let's finish a d go on our own way now." Trail reminded as they all finished there breakfast quickly.
Flash was walking down the road as he was on his way to school. The act wasn't fixed yet so he had to wait another day for it to be finished.
"Dang it, Now I wished I should have went with mom when she suggested to drop me to school. Guess I'm walking then."
He mentally told him self as he went on his way. While he was going he looked to the side of a store window to see the poster of the new power ponies movie coming up. But it was strange cause it looked like the Rainbooms."Hah? Is it me or are the girls getting popular by the day. Hope Rainbow dash ego is on control or it would be a problem more for us."
"Hope nothing weird happens today or anything else for that matter. But that would make things boring" Flash said as he went on his way. He said to himself taking a turn in a alley as a short cut, until something unexpected happened.
Suddenly, a small portal opened up in the sky and coming out of it was a ball of golden light, which was heading towards Flash.
"What the hell?!" Flash said in surprise.
The next thing that happen was he jumped back, as the ball of golden light landed on the ground. As soon as the light died down, it revealed to be a small dark gold device. Then the portal disappeared from his sight leaving the small device behind.
Flash just look up in the sky where the portal once was and turned his attention back on the ground. "Okay, what was that all? Is this another equestrian magic thing again?" He asked himself before walking up to the strange device. "And what in the world is this thing?" He raised his hand out to grab it.
When Flash touches the device, a hologram instantly appeared from the device which causes Flash to jump back in surprise. The hologram a man wearing an green shirt and black jacket. He has a dragon's foot symbol on the middle.
"Who and what are you?" Flash asked in curiosity.
"Greetings, Ranger. My name is Tommy Oliver and I am a Power Ranger." The hologram man answered.
"Power Ranger?" Flash thought in confusion. He never heard of a Power Ranger before in his life. He heard of power ponies before but this is new "I'm sorry but I don't follow what your saying? And aren't you the real Tommy Oliver?" Flash asked in confusion.
Hologram Tommy sighs. "Unfortunately, I'm not. I'm just a A.I. program that the original Tommy Oliver created with his memories, to help mentor new Power Rangers." The hologram said to the child in a sad tone.
Flash was amaze by the technology of the mysterious item. He was curious on how the original Tommy created this but then wondering about the real Tommy Oliver. If Twilight was ever to see this, She'll go head over heals to want to know it's secret.
"What happened to the original Tommy?" Flash couldn't help but asked.
"Before I tell you about what happened to my original self, I must tell you about this item and it's origin." Hologram Tommy said to Flash. "Everything I'm about to say is the truth and please hold off on any questions you may have until I'm finish."
"Sure." Flash agreed with a nod.
"In the year 1993, five teenagers were summoned by an alien known as Zordon. Zordon gave them Power Coins and Morphers each to turn them into Earth's Defenders called the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers." Hologram Tommy explained as footage of five teenagers morphing into spandex wearing superheroes for the first time was shown.
Flash couldn't help but be amazed by the transformation of the teens. "So these are the Power Rangers?" He thought. Flash looked at them as they looked a bit better then the power ponies outfit.
"Tommy Oliver because the Green Ranger when a evil sorcerer named Rita Repulsa, one of the Power Rangers main villains, gave Tommy the Dragon Power Coin and brainwashed him to fight the Rangers which, of course, utterly failed. Tommy then became the sixth Ranger for the team until he temporarily leaves the group when his Power Coin was destroyed. Zordon later gave Tommy the Tiger Coin and became the White Ranger then become their new leader of the team." The footage continues.
Flash was stunned about what happened to Tommy. He started off evil do to a villain brainwashing him until he managed to break free from her control and join the Rangers later on. He could see that happened before to his friends.
"When the Mighty Morphin Rangers was disbanded after saving the world, after that new generations of Power Rangers were born such as Alien, Zeo, Turbo, In Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, Wild Force, Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, S.P.D., Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive, Jungle Fury, RPM, Samurai, Megaforce, Pirate Legacy, Dino Charge, Ninja Steel, Beast Morphers, Dino Fury, Cosmic Fury, and Many more Rangers that have yet to shine." Hologram Tommy said with the footage showing difference Ranger teams fighting.
"So many different Power Rangers." The teen thought.
Flash jaw slightly dropped when he saw different Power Rangers incarnations in the footage. He can't believed what he was seeing. The Rangers were fighting various hideous monsters, dinosaurs, sorcerers, aliens, demons, mutants, world destroyers, and many more. He couldn't believe that there was another life outside of Earth as he wonders whether if any footage that was shown were real but Holo-Tommy reassures that everything he saw in the footage are indeed real and not fictitious. These fights were very much beyond the things he scene so far hear and even much larger then the girls magic or fights.
"Now about their powers, the first Rangers received their powers when they became Power Rangers while some Rangers in new generations possess an ability or talent in your term. When they became Rangers, they possess enhanced strength, durability, ability, and combat prowess. Some of them possess superhuman or psychic abilities such as super-speed, element manipulation, extra-sensory perception or invisibility. In addition, each individual Ranger has a unique weapon, as well as common weaponry used for ground fighting. They are not called the Power Rangers for nothing." He said.
Flash was in disbelief when some of the Rangers were actually normal human before becoming a Power Rangers. He was wondering how it was possible to have power through this odd item that was created by an alien. He listened to Holo-Tommy continued with his explanation.
"The Zords, named after Zordon, are giant mechanic vehicle that Power Rangers piloted when fighting against gigantic foes. When they are overwhelmed by the strength of their enemies, they can combine their Zords into a Megazord which increased the strength and power of the Zords as well as gain new abilities. The original Tommy has multiple Zords such as the Dragonzord which is currently at the bottom of the ocean, Tigerzord, Falconzord, Red Battlezord, and many among others. Also, when they are fighting giant monster, they completely avoid collateral damage which surprisingly works unless they have no choice." The footage showed.
Flash jaw opened again seeing giant mechs operated by the Power Rangers. They were different kinds of Zords like vehicles, a space station, animal, shogun, the entire headquarters, mystical creatures, and many more. He was even more amazed when they combine together to become a giant more powerful robot. It was like something he has seen from one of the video games he had played. He was already impressed with the Power Rangers and now after seeing their Megazord battles, he was completely blown away. This was out of this world knowledge as he was seeing all there action and adventure as he hasn't scene anything like this. Its like watching a Saturday TV show that kids and some adults watch.
"After years of fighting and protecting his home from evil forces, Tommy Oliver was reaching the end of his journey from old age." Holo-Tommy showed footage of a much more older Tommy Oliver in his elderly years. "Before he departed from this world, Tommy wanted to pass the torch on to someone who will continue the legacy of the Power Rangers. So he created a portal between worlds and re-engineered his Master Morpher to choose a new wielder before throwing it into the portal, hoping to find a worthy successor with the heart of a hero to create a new team of Rangers." Holo-Tommy said as he points at the Master Morpher. "The Master Morpher has chosen you as it's new wielded, Flash Sentry." Holo-Tommy said then pointed at Ren.
Flash eyes widened from shock from hearing this from the A.I. hologram. He wanted him to become a Power Ranger!
"You want me to be a Power Ranger?" Flash said in disbelief, processing everything that was happening.
"I didn't choose you, it was the Master Morpher who did." The hologram corrected him. "Tommy design the he's Morpher to search out those who meet current qualities to become a Ranger and gives them the ability to do so." The A.I. said to him.
Flash thought about what Holo-Tommy said for a moment. Being a Power Ranger sounds like a dream come true especially for a quirkless person like him. It's not that he doesn't want the power, it's just that he wasn't sure on if he's capable of handling or even taking on there legacy of the Past Rangers.
"Can I get some time to think about this?" Flash said being unsure about this decision to become a Power Ranger.
Holo-Tommy just shake his head to the boy. "There's no need for you to make a decision right now and I won't force this on you, but if you take to long to decide the Master Morpher will find someone else as it's wielder." He said warning the boy.
"Right, I'll be sure to keep that in mind." Flash said as he puts the Morpher in his pocket. He then took out his phone to check the time and his eyes widened in surprise. "Aw shit! I need to hurry or else all be late!" He said dashing off to his school.
Canterlot High School- Morning
Teens were just entering the school gates as many chatting and comments were made around as they all entered. One teen boy can be scene going through the crowd as he had purple skin and his hair was comed down and he wore glasses. His name is Micro chip the school nerd and right now he's holding some papers in his hands as he was in a hurry.
"Excuse me, Coming through hear. Sorry can you move I'm in a hurry!" Micro said as he went through the students crowd. He soon went in the school as he spotted a teacher going on his way."Ah! Mister Doodle sir! Please wait!"
"Hm?" Mr Doodle looked back to see one of his students coming towards him."Oh, Your the.. computer teen in my class..."
"Micro Chip, But that has to wait. I'm hear to a ask you about the science you told us about." He quickly showed the chart to his teacher."You see, I've been working on a energy core for a bit of time and I thought I could submit it hear at the science fair that is going to take place in the school between Canterlot High and Crystal Prep. So I was hoping I could submit this in it."
Mr Doodle examined the chart and couldn't fully make up for what was written but he understood most of this."Well, I can't make up for the sci-fi stuff in this. But I could say for sure that if this doesn't end up like your, last projects." He said the last part with disdain."I could say you could win us a trophy by this idea of yours or a trip to the hospital."
"I can promise you this time that it won't end up like the last one of my invention. Also, Sorry about the hair of yours." Micro apologized.
"Just promise me this kid. No more explosion there. If anything happens then you could say good bye to your scholarship, and your days hear." Mr doddle warned him.
"... Yes sir, I get it" Micro nodded and gulped. As the teacher nodded then.
"Good, Now leave me be I have a tuff day." Mr Doddle said giving the paper back a d going on his way.
Micro saw something infront,"Ah! Mister Doodle, watch your step, The floor is."
But it was to late as Mr Doodle slipped on the wet floor and fell on his back making him lose his bag. He try to get up when his bag landed on his head knocking him back down.
"- wet." Micro muttered as the students looked at the scene and laughed at that."Well, That went better then I aspected."
At the guarding club area. A girl with green skin and dark green long hair could be scene working on the field. Her name is Wallflower Blush and she's the captain of the guarding club.
"Sandalwood, I need the sacks carried to the storage room. Could you help with that." She asked
"All ready on it." Sandalwood told. He was a average teen boy with long green hair and wore cap over his head."Wait, which sacks need to be put there?"
"Both of them." She said as she was busy at her work."Don't drop them or anything please. They were quite expensive and hard to get. So please be careful with them."
"You got it dude.. I mean Wallflower." He corrected his self and carried the sacks over his shoulder. He didn't have much problem as he went to put them to the storage. But suddenly his foot tripped as he lost his balance."Wow!" He yelped as he was about to fall when suddenly he was grabbed by the back of his jacket and stopped him from falling.
"You gotta be careful there buddy." It reveals to be Flash as he hold on to him.",Don't want to soil the goods now do we." He joked.
"Thanks for the save there bro." Sandalwood appreciate his help."What are you doing hear?"
"Almost time for class and I thought to get you. Your Offaly busy so it's kinda hard to get you to focus."
"Sorry about that bro. Because it's just us around the club. We have to take care of the plants and the trees. Its gets quite hard but we still try to make this work. No point in giving up." Sandalwood told his friend as Flash smiled at his determination. Unnoticed to him and others Holo Tommy was listening to this and could see the similarities
"He loves to help the environment and nature. He has the same passion like Nick did as he had to use the power of nature it self." Holo Tommy guessed.
"Ok, I'll help you and then we could go to class together then." Flash said as he picked up one sack to ease his friend tension.
"Thanks bro." He thanked as both went towards the storage."So anything interesting happened today man. Other then getting a new Pokémon on Sun and Moon game."
"Eh, Just same old things nothing new." Flash waved it off.'Other then the fact I ran into something out of this world.'
Soccer Ground- Morning
"Come on! Pass it to me." A boy shouted as he was running in the field. He had had green light skin and yellow short hair as he wore a soccer outfit. He's name is Blitz.
As you could guess, he was in middle of a Mach against another team as he ran with the ball. The other team player went for the assault to get the ball but he clearly got out of his reach and ran fast towards there goal. He jumped up with the ball while dogging a kick coming from below. He gave the opponent a smirk as he ran further towards the goal. He spotted the goal keeper standing in position.
"Hope your ready for this. My special move. The spinning da-" Before he could finish, he suddenly tripped down and fall, causing the ball to go into another direction.
The coach whistled on this. Showing the Mach was on hold. The other players stopped as they all went to there benches. Blitz got up and went towards his team as his coach was standing there with a disappointed look. Blitz knew his gonna get it now.
"Hey coach." He ackwardly said trying to ease up the tension.
"Don't hey me there Blitz! You know what happened back there!" The coach schooled him."Because of your little stunt you thought would be 'Cool' to do back there had almost caused us the game. When are you gonna grow up from this kid and figure out that this is serious business here!"
"But I thought that."
"But nothing! If you want to be on this team then you better pay attention and get serious! So stop with the child like behaviour and start taking things seriously." The coach strictly told."Now go freshen up. The game will begin in an hour so go catch your breath and come back."
Blitz couldn't say anything else and just nodded then."Yes coach. I be sure to do that." He said with sadness in his voice.
"Good, Now go!" The coach ordered.
Blitz slammed his locker shut in anger as he sat down."What do they know anything about my behaviour, There the ones who are acting bossy around all of us." He muttered in anger as he took off his shoes and went to freshen up his feet."They just don't know a thing or two about special moves! They call me childish, when I'm the only one who is doing anything to help this team." He angrily muttered while cleaning a soccer ball to ease his anger.
While he was doing that he didn't notice a yellow orb of light coming from the window and went into his sport shoes. They soon glowed and covered in a yellow light as the red lines on it changed purple. He finished cleaning the Soccer ball and went back to out his shoes on. After he did he looked at the soccer ball and kicked it lightly towards the wall, But suddenly to his surprise the ball was covered by a violet aura and it flew into another direction landing in side the basket.
"What... The.?" He muttered.
He slowly went towards the basket and checked the ball to see if anything is wrong with it. But it felt fine, So he tested it by kicking it hard this time as it was launched forward. It was again covered in same aura and stopped in mid air. Blitz took a second to see what was happening and then lifted his hand as to signal the ball. It did what he indicated as it moved in the direction it was told and finally landing back at the basket.
Now Blitz had a crazed look as he saw this."Looks like luck is on my side now." He said.
Canterlot High School-Morning
Micro was using the computer as he was working on an algorithm in it. He used the free time he has to work on his project and stuff to ease his tension. So while it's break he went on to checking his work.
"Sorry I'm late micro, I got caught up on something." Flash came in saying as he closed the door.
"Don't worry about it. But still your a bit late. What took you so long." Micro asked his friend.
"Oh, Well I was asking on where the Rainbooms were. They haven't been around today. Did another equestrian magic gone lose or something so they went and deal with it or something?" Flash asked as he went towards another computer.
"No, The girls got called from Rainbow dash as she wanted them to go to a soccer match that's happening at another place. Pinkie even posted that on her blog." Micro tod him as he showed him the blog on his phone, which showed the girls were at the stadium.
"Dang it. Should have checked the blog first." Flash muttered feeling like an idiot. He went on checking the computer then on some websites.
Holo Tommy meanwhile got to know about Flash world a bit more. Mostly on this school. While it was normal for a few years. But a year back it wasn't when a girl who was a bully to the whole school name Sunset shimmer was actually a magical pony from another dimension know to be Equestria. She torment the others and even used flash for her own reason. Holo Tommy was very disappointed and angry on her action on doing this. Then another girl came from the same dimension to stop her. Her name was Twilight sparkle and she was a princess of her dimension. She fallowed her hear and had to get a crown from Sunset which had the magical jewel that granted them magic. Twilight needed help so she got it from this dimension girls who were the counterparts of her previous friends from her Dimension. They were broken up by sunset mischief but we're brought back with the help of Twilight. They band up together to stop her. They succeeded but then Sunset did a dirty trick and stole the crown and became a she-devil with its power. But Twilight stopped her with the help of her new friends kind spirit and awakened her magic and defeated Sunset. Twilight then extended a hand of friendship to help show her the ways of true friendship. She accepted it and now she does everything in her power to help others out. There Tommy saw light in her as she is redeeming her self like the previous ranger enemy have in the past.
But that still let Flash in a sour taste as he had his heart broken. A broken heart isn't easy to heal when it's played with. But Holo Tommy still had believe he will one day.
While this was happening Flash was in his own thoughts as he was thinking of wether or not to accept the deal or not. It was a deal of a life time as it gives him a chance to become a hero he always wanted to be. To help others in need when in danger. But he still had doubts on him as the past rangers had earned the respect. He doesn't even have any skill to even carry there legacy. He should better off give this to the girls as they had a better experience at these things. They also have the magic to do so.'Maybe Twilight could become a ranger. I mean, she's smart and talented and she could solve any problem with the help of her friends. Maybe the Master Morpher made a mistake on choosing me on leading the past rangers leagcy.'
Micro saw his friend look and knew he was in some trouble. He had the same look after the Friendship games, The fall formal and Camp Everfree. As a friend he had to help him.
"Something on you there Flash." He called the teen out."You seem to be lost in your own thoughts. Something bothering you or anything?"
"What? No nothing is bothering me." He quickly played it off and put on a fake smile. Not wanting to upset him or tell him about Tommy."What makes you say that?"
"Cause of the look you always make. It shows your in deep thinking or something." Micro deadpanned told seeing through his friend lie."Come on. You could tell me dude. I could help you know even if I don't have the fancy magic or anything." He joked at the last part.
'That's just it. I can't tell you about this as Tommy told me not to. Also how am I gonna explain about the other worlds to you without you freaking out. ' He mentally said as he didn't want to lie to his best friend."well, the thing is that, while in my way hear this morning. I was greeted by a man in an alley way." He quickly lied but it was true a bit as he did meet Tommy.
"Alley way, He didn't hurt you or anything?" Micro asked in concern.
"No, No. He well.. He offered me a chance of a life time actually. He told me I could become something better and it could help many others in the future." Flash told while it wasn't a lie actually as he was greeted by Tommy and is given a chance if the life time.
"That's great Flash!" Micro congratulated his friend."But I'm sensing a 'But' coming in.."
"But, I don't think I'm quite cit out for this. I mean. I'm just a regular teen and a highschool student. What can I do anyways. I think someone else should just take this instead of me." Flash muttered
"Now hold on there Flash. While I know that you have doubts on your self but it doesn't mean you should just give up on this." Micro told him."Sometimes in life you gotta take the chances on what life gives you. If you don't then you'll regret it for the rest of your life."
"But, what can I do then?"
"If you try for once other then doubting your self. You have a great will of helping others and you do it for the good of heart. I been your friend since kindergarden and I know you very well. You could do way much more even without any special talents or anything else. You even stand up to bullies who torment others. Even if you don't have a quirk or any magic, I still believe you can do something good." Micro finish saying to Flash.
Flash listened to what his friend has said and couldn't help but smile. All this time, Flash thought he was not able to help anyone at all without power. But he forgot that power isn't what makes a man but the person him self. His mind was now at ease a bit because of the talk.
Even Holo-Tommy thought what Micro said was amazing. He believed in him when no one else did. "That sounds like something a Ranger would say. This girl really is something." He thought that Micro Chip was going to become an amazing person one day.
But then something unexpected happened, in Flash's pocket the Master Morpher started to slightly glowed Blue before the light faded away.
"Well, now that interesting." Holo-Tommy said with a growing smile. Knowing full well what that glowed means.
"Thanks Micro, I really needed that talk. It feels like now I could make the decision easily." Flash thanked his friend.
"No probs man. You help me many times, so it's my time to help you." Micro told his friend. Holo Tommy could see the kids potential as he was a bit like Billy. A bit curious but always there for his friends."Looks like we may have a potential ranger in our hands."
Canterlot High School- Evening
School has just ended as the students went out of class and went on there way. Flash made his way into the boys bathroom and checked if there was anyone in their. Luckily for him there was no one in their and when into one of the empty stall, closing the door behind him.
He then pulled the Master Morpher out of his pocket. "Hey Tommy, you there?" The boy asked.
The A.I. hologram appeared again, but only this time it was smaller. "Yes, I'm always here." He said to him. "So what is it you need from me?"
"I been thinking about the offer you gave me." Flash said.
"And have you made your decision?" Holo-Tommy asked waiting for an answer.
Ren take a deep breath and give his answer. "Yes I have, and I'll be a Power Ranger." He said.
The A.I. just gave the boy a smile. "If that's the case, then please the Morpher on your left wrist." He instead the boy.
Flash then put the Master Morpher on his left arm just as Holo-Tommy asked and then a strap band wrapped around his wrist, hold the Morpher in place. The Morpher glowed gold to register Flash as the new wielder of the Master Morpher.
"Huh, interesting." Flash said looking at Master Morpher.
After the DNA registration, the mind of Flash was filled with all the previous Rangers fights across 24 generations. All of their combat experiences and powers were now second nature to him. Holo-Tommy smile at the new Ranger before being temporarily deactivated from the Morpher which leaves Flash to figure how to use the alien item. Flash looked at his hands and can now feel the powers of every Ranger abilities, coursing through his entire body.
Flash then balled his right hand into a fist and hold it up, and thrusts it forward releasing a gust of wind that slam opened the stall door. He then walks out of the stall and shares at his hands in disbelief.
"I have powers now." Flash said clenching his fists with a grin on his face.
After all of this painful years, the blue hair boy who had thought had no future, finally has powers. Powers he will use to help others, just like the Power Rangers.
"I'll carry on the legacy of the Power Rangers and become a hero!" Flash said running out of the bathroom.
This day was the start of the next generation of Power Rangers. The birth of the Power Rangers Ultra Force.
