5 months later                                                                                                                                                                  
He was laying down or he thought he was he just couldn't remember what he was doing or who he is. He could only just look at a sun and some clouds hanging down from the sky or was it the sky. Whatever it was he knew it was one thing to him. Safe I am safe. Then he started to hear sounds then sounds became some voices he knew but didn't not know at the same time.
"Is he going to be okay"? the young female voice sounded scared and worry. "He is in grave danger, isn't he?" the voice continue. 
Then a new voice began to sigh as if she had been through a rough time that day.  
" Yes" An older, and wiser voice stated with a serious tone within it. The child will be alright as long as he is hidden away.
"What is going to happen to my little Sunbug  here/" the voice asked. Then a face appears to be looking at him it seems to be happy and yet sorrowful.
The young colt knew that voice but could not see the face.  The face was a orange blurry to him. Try as he might his little hooves could not grab the face. This a dream then? he thought to himself. The he loud noise. He was then lifted up from the bed he was laying in. 
"Get him out here run and take him to the Crystal Empire he will be safe there". The voice was yelling over the roar of ponies in the distance. Then what the voice said next made his blood colder than any spring in the land. "Stay safe my son Sunray Boom."  Sunray SUNRAYYYYYYYYYYYYY. The voice began to become louder and louder until....
"Oof." The young alicorn fell off his bed with a soft thud. Then the door of his room began to open slowly. He was scared stiff. "Who are you and what do you want from me." He stammered.
"Now come on son it is just me your mother." A sweet and reassuring voice seem to pierce through the nightmare. "I figured you were up when I heard a bump as I was coming up here. Are you alright Sunray?"
Sunray peek from the bottom of the blanket. His magenta eyes were wide but to his delight it was just his mother the best person in the not just Equestria  but the whole world. Empress Mi Amore Cadenza. Better known as Cadance to all her friend family and any of the foals young and old. In fact, all of the empire seems to know about the pink coat and purple and yellow stripe mane alicorn. Sunray was the luckiest one of all because he was her son. What more could any young colt or mare could ask for? Cadance was just the best. "Do I have to mama?" A soft whine in his voice.
The empress smiled and proceeded to walk over and gave her son a big, massive hug and cuddle him as she did, she gave him a soft kiss on the head. "Are you hungry because breakfast is almost done, and it is your favorite: Crystal berry Oatmeal and toast."  She began to coax him out. As she began to slowly start to tickle him. There was no way anybody could not help but laugh at these aggressive attacks from these gentle comforting hooves. "Come on time to get up Sunray you don't want to be late for school now do you?" she coaxed him and a way that would get him out of bed.
The young colt began to squirm from her ticklish assaults. "Mama sto-p-p it I am up I am up". Sunray began to laugh. He then nuzzled into his mother. Come on mama we don't want to be late for Misty bluebell's breakfast. Sunray then dash out of his room and down the stairs to his to one favorite meals.
Once arriving at the breakfast, the smell of piping hot rolls and eggs, muffins, pancakes must I go on. A pale tan pony with sunset colors in her mane was waiting for the young alicorn to come to the first meal of the day. "Ah Prince Sunray Boom Top of the morning to you and I hope day is a very cheery and lovely one".
"Thank you Mary Blueflower for breakfast." Sunray reply while grabbing a spoon. "Today is going to be a great day mama I can feel it" Sunray started to say with food in his mouth.
Now sunray haven't your mother and I taught you better than this. A white pony with a blue and cerulean mane. 
" But Papa I am so excited I could burst into confetti at a surprise party". Sunray then began to eat his food faster". 
The unicorn sighed. "He sure has a lot of energy this morning Cadance where do you think he gets all that from". As he also was finishing his cup of tea. You think he is ready for this hon? He is only a boy.
"Well certainly not from you there Shining Armor." Cadance said with a while trying to hold her giggles in. "And yes, I think he is going to have a good day at school and just like you were when I came over to your house." 
"If you say so Cadance." shining said Shining Armor is one of the captains of the royal guards of not just the empire but all of Equestria and he was a even amazing father as well. To Sunray Boom he had the best parents in the world or at least the in empire. 
"Hurry up mama I don't want to be late let's go!" Sunray began to tug on his mother's dress. 
"Alright I let's get your bags and get going. Say goodbye to your father at least. Cadance said as she rose from the table. I will be back Shining Armor I better take mister ball of energy to school." She said as their son was franticly getting his bags ready for his big day.
" Yep, I better get going as well". the white unicorn responded as he also rose from the table. "I will see you guys later".
"Bye papa love you can't wait to tell you how my day went." Sunray yelled as he and Cadance walked out the door. Today is going to be the best day ever! Sunray thought to himself after what possibility could go wrong.
