*Rarity's POV*
Two weeks after Haru had come down sick, Rainbow learned the hard way not to have all the glory to herself.
Blizzardstar was helping the bellhop carry my luggage to the room I was staying in.
Blizzardstar spoke "Good thing Snowfire and I tagged along."
“Indeed.” I agreed as Snowfire was on my back.
Blizzardstar asks "Say Rares, have you ever thought about giving Snowfire a sibling?"
That made me freeze as a warm, pleasant shiver shot with down my spine!
Blizzardstar asks "But since I'm in peak female phase... Maybe I could carry the child this time?"
But then Vera showed up, holding a necklace. “My mom made something in case of something like that.”
Blizzardstar spoke "That could work."
Vera spoke "It’ll work its magic when ya want it to. And you can turn yourself back to normal as well."
Blizzardstar spoke "Though it won't work on chakats though."
Vera spoke "Yeah, since they're both male and female."
After putting the necklace on, I had taken on a male form.
I spoke "Woah... I sound weird..."
Vera spoke "Definitely makes you more masculine."
I spoke "This better be a one time use though..."
Vera spoke "It’s not one-time, but you can use it only once though, so it’s your choice."
I spoke "That makes no sense...."
Vera spoke "You can leave it be or give it back to my mom after using it."
Blizzardstar spoke "But once it's used, it won't work for anypony else but Rarity."
Vera face-faulted at that. “I knew I forgot to tell mom something!”
I spoke "You're a bigger idiot than Muta."
Vera spoke "Sometimes, I am. Not gonna deny that."
Little did I know, a visiting royal from Abyssinia was in Canterlot.
I spoke "If you'll excuse us, I plan to help my lifemate stifle hir female phase."
Vera spoke "Sure thing."
Vera then left.
*After some time*
I had removed the pendant thus returning to being a mare.
Blizzardstar spoke "One thing I forgot to mention about chakats, they know if they're pregnant."
“Oh?” I noticed.
Blizzardstar spoke "It's faint but I can feel it. A new life is developing."
Snowfire mews cutely.
I hugged Blizzardstar with happy tears.
Blizzardstar spoke "And knowing the other chakats, they'd be ecstatic to hear that I have a cub on the way."
“Indeed.” I agreed.
*Some time later*
Blizzardstar and I were having lunch together when Jet Set and Upper Crust walk over to us.
Upper Crust scoffs "What a pathetic sight."
Blizzardstar’s ears perk at that.
I place a hoof on my lifemate's arm.
I spoke "You two have no right to talk to my spouse like that."
Blizzardstar spoke "Rarity…"
Both unicorns scoff before walking away.
Blizzardstar spoke "Thank you."
A loud crash was heard.
“What was that?!” I gasped.
Blizzardstar spoke "Probably a Light Fury."
“What?” I gasped again.
Blizzardstar spoke "This might work out for our Night Fury friend!"
I instantly caught onto what Blizzardstar said as both of us mischievously giggled.
Blizzardstar snickers "You thinking what I'm thinking?"
“Precisely.” I smiled.
Blizzardstar spoke "We should get Princess Cadence involved with this idea."
Cadence asks "You called?"
Blizzardstar whispers hir plan into Cadence's ear.
Cadence spoke "I’m in!"
Vera soon showed up.
Cadence spoke "Vera!"
Vera spoke "Cadence!"
The two hugged each other.
I spoke "Blizz and I came up with an idea. It involves that Night Fury that Danyelle had saved from drowning the one time."
Vera asks "Really?"
I spoke "Yeah."
Since her left wing had been injured, Danyelle was on the back of the Night Fury she had helped as she rode on its back to Canterlot.
Cadence and Vera spoke "Talk about timing! Jinx! Double jinx!"
The two laughed like they were best friends.
I giggle "I will never fully understand that cat."
Blizzardstar spoke "Agreed."
Danyelle and the Night Fury soon bank back.
Danyelle spoke "Rarity-chan! I saw something!"
“A Light Fury, yes?” I smiled.
Danyelle spoke "Aside from that! I spotted a large pack of Diamond Dogs on the other side of the Everfree Forest! There had to be at least a hundred of them!"
“What?!” I gasped.
Danyelle spoke "They're planning to attack on the same day Yuki is planning to get married!"
I couldn’t help but facehoof at that.
Danyelle spoke "I was just about to fly out to Griffonstone to alert Gawain and Gilda."
Vera spoke "Smart choice."
Danyelle spoke "Since my left wing is injured, I can't fly on my own strength. Plus Vince would shave my tail if he found out I damaged my wing further."
I winced at that.
Danyelle spoke "Even though I'm two hours older than Vince, he's been on edge since Lan went missing."
Vera spoke "*Looking through spyglass* Uh, Dany? I think I found him."
Danyelle spoke "But it's been ten years though!"
Vera spoke "And we have a hostage situation."
Danyelle spoke "But the Pony Guard hasn't been fully set up yet. Plus we can't call in the Pony Guard from the OC-verse though."
Vera spoke "No, I’m serious. You need to look."
Danyelle's eyes shimmer, allowing her to home in on the large group of Diamond Dogs.
Danyelle spoke "Oh StarClan no... They have my younger brother and Roll's sister!"
Vera spoke "That’s what I was trying to tell you."
Spottedleaf pops up with the rest of the Mane Six along with Natsu, Spike, Wendy, Levy, Gajeel and Laxus. Even Discord shows up with Fizzlepop, Haru, Hiromi, Starlight, Sunburst and Sunset as Pandora appear with Vince, Roll, Lamorak, Lightning Dust, Wave and Stormcloud.
Twilight spoke "We got the call to arms straight from Princess Celestia."
Vera facepalmed. “Aw man. A war’s the last thing we need.”
Discord spoke "True there and besides, that other Danyelle has enough to deal with though. We can't get her group involved."
Vera asks "Should I just stop them?"
Danyelle zaps Vera.
Twilight spoke "Since they have hostages, they probably want something from us."
Vera spoke "*Cools herself* Still can’t be anything good."
Erza was itching her back against a tree.
Vera asks "Huh? Itchy back?"
Lucy spoke "Erza's half dragon."
Vera gasps "That must mean…!"
Ears pin back, Erza spoke "No spoilers!"
Vera spoke "…Oh. Right."
Erza's upper back had turned to stone which was rather uncomfortable for the Diamond Dog bitch.
Lucy spoke "That looks painful..."
Natsu facepalmed.
Erza spoke "Shut up Flamebrain."
