Chancellor Neighsay had never felt so conflicted in his entire life. On one hoof, he was elated that he was finally going to be married to the pony he loved. On the other hoof, he was racked with guilt over the deception he had carried out.

He knew he had to tell Twilight the truth before they got married, but he didn't know how to do it without hurting her. As they were making final preparations for the wedding, he found himself growing more and more anxious.

Finally, on the day of the wedding, he knew he couldn't keep it a secret any longer. As he stood at the altar, looking into Twilight's eyes, he took a deep breath and spoke.

"Twilight, there's something I need to tell you,"  he said, his voice shaking slightly. 
"I know this isn't the best time, but I can't go through with this without being honest with you. I love you, and I want to marry you, but there's something you need to know."

Twilight looked at him with concern, but also with a glimmer of hope in her eyes. Chancellor Neighsay took another deep breath and continued.

"I'm not the pony you think I am," he said. "I've done things in the past that I'm not proud of, and I've been living a lie for a long time. But I want to make things right, and I want to start by telling you the truth."

As he spoke, Chancellor Neighsay could feel the weight lifting off his shoulders. He knew that telling the truth was the right thing to do, no matter how difficult it might be.

To his surprise, Twilight didn't react with anger or disgust. Instead, she reached out and took his hoof in hers.

"Chancellor, I don't care about your past," she said, her eyes shining with love. 
"I care about the pony you are now, and the one you want to be in the future. I love you too, and I want to marry you."

Chancellor Neighsay felt a surge of emotion, and he knew that he had made the right decision. As they exchanged their vows and became husband and wife, he felt a sense of peace and contentment that he had never felt before.

In that moment, Chancellor Neighsay knew that he had found his true love, and that nothing else in the world mattered as much as the pony standing by his side.
