The dragon stared at the griffin and pony in his claw they held themselves in fear as the dragon narrowed his eyes smoke coming from his nostrils. the dragon opened his mouth and razed his claw with the two of them upward Gallus and Clutterstep closed their eyes in fear awaiting to be eaten by the dragon. When the two opened their eyes, they realized they were sitting on the edge of the cliff and the dragon was laying down .

Um why did you let us go Clutterstep asked with a confused look on his face?

why are you arguing that he didn't eat us let's just get out of here Gallus said pulling on Cluttersteps shoulder gesturing to leave.

Hold on take me to him I want to check something out Gallus lifted his claw and looked at Clutter in confusion Clutter looked at Gallus in anger casing him to change his mind. The two flew down and Clutterstep walked next to the dragon and started to talk to him.

So any reason why you're just sitting in this pit you don't have any chains on you and nothing to stop you from flying out and leaving here.

Nether this pit or this island is my prison something else is keeping me here.

Then what's keeping you here the dragon stood up towering over the earth pony and griffin he looked at the two with a stern face shifting his eyes back and forth between the two. 

Fine my name is Tallen Fire Dragon lord Tallen Fire at least it was it was over a thousand years ago I was the strongest most fears dragon that ever existed. No dragon could challenge me I rained unquestioned and unmatched I believed I had all the other dragons respect but in truth I only had their hatred.

Maby, it takes more than just strangth to lead the griffon said gaining an angry look from the dragon. What I mean is the new dragon lord is no bigger than we are yet she earned all the other dragons respect.

So, a griffon sized dragon managed to do what I could not tell me small bird what power dose this dragon poses allowing this dragon to do that?

The power of Friendship more like the magic of friendship or so I hear. Friendship brings creatures together it can bring out a power that you never thought you ha.

Enough I roolled with power and strength like a reel dragon should if the others had a problem with that then they wernt reel dragons like me. Tell me is insulting my leadership skills the only reson your hear or was there another reason.

Well the pony said in a sqeeky voice looking at Gallus. We realy came her to see who the champion was because Im suppos to be fighting him next.

Whaat they put me against a small week pony I fight trolls, ogres, giants not week creatures like you. the dragon picked up the two and tossed them Clutterstep and Gallus went hurdling out of Controle until gallus managed to Straten up and caught Clutter. 

Well, that could have gone better said the griffon.

Actually, that was one of my better conversations.

I can't belive it they put me up against that pony that minitour shows me even less respect that my people did The dragon thought back to his final day as dragon lord Dragon lord fire talon we have had enough of your rain I am taking your tittle. You think you can defeat me hundreds before you have tried and I'm still standing here. the two dragons took flight clawing and breathing fire Tallen swung his tail and knocked the other dragon to the ground right before he was going to make the final blow four more dragons came and attacked Tallon. Tallon managed to fend them of the dragon who challenged slashed him in the back and knocked him out the dragon took his helmet and placed it upon his head. From this day forth I Torch shall be the new dragon lord and so something like this doesn't happen again every two thousand years we must select a new dragon lord they tossed me aside like I was nothing I will not stand another humiliation.

know what do we do all we manage to accomplish is making him more made tomorrow he is going to eat you and know amount of planning strategy or dumb luck is going to save you.

Clutter lowered his head and side the only thing we can do know is head back to our cells before any creature finds out or we won't make it to tomorrow.

later that night all the prisoners and guards were asleep except for clutterstep he could not get to sleep suddenly he heard some noise coming from the other side of his cell window when he went to see what was out there, he saw Tallen standing out there. what are you doing and more impotently how did no one notice a giant dragon sneaking around.

Quiet I'm here to set you free Torch widened the bares enough so the clutter could climb out hurry before some creature sees us. wait why are you helping me because I will not humiliate myself by fighting you come on and I can that bracelet of  you. Clutter was about to jump out but then stopped no what do you mean I can't leave with all these other inosinate creatures still hear but I'll tell you what. 

The dragon leaned in to hear his plan are you sure about this.

Yes, but in case this doesn't work I won't you to get gallus out of here get his bracelet off and set him adrift back to canterlot.
