*Spike’s POV*
Man, I’m still surprised that Rarity and Blizzardstar asked me and Wendy to help them find gems.
Erza spoke "I'll help too."
“You sure?” Wendy asked.
Erza spoke "I'd rather not get my fur shaven and then electrocuted by a pair of angry females if you two dragons got hurt... And knowing Natsu, he'd likely set me on fire."
Blizzardstar spoke "She's right Spike. And since I'm the leader of MeadowClan, I have to be careful."
“Okay.” I responded.
Blizzardstar spoke "Even though I have a leader's name, I only have one life..."
Rarity spoke "I didn't know that."
Blizzardstar spoke "But I won’t stop fighting for this life."
Spottedleaf comes running over.
Spottedleaf spoke "I found a way to speak with my ancestors!"
Blizzardstar asks "R-Really?"
Spottedleaf spoke "I may be a former ThunderClan medicine cat but my loyalties lie with MeadowClan now."
Erza's nose twitches before digging up a huge haul of gems.
Rarity spoke "My word!"
Erza spoke "My species is good at digging. But as a warning, most Diamond Dogs are rather unruly and uncouth. Plus they have bad breath."
Wendy spoke "Wait, didn’t Natsu tell me you had a crush on someone? I think he said his name was Jellal."
Erza suddenly blushed at that.
Spottedleaf spoke "You're one to talk Wendy, you have a crush on Spike."
Wendy and I blushed at that.
Spottedleaf fired a Roar at a tree, knocking three Diamond Dogs out of it.
But then the gray one gave a whistle, before Rarity, Blizzardstar and Erza were captured and taken underground as he and the other two went back underground.
Spottedleaf spoke "LEADER!!!"
Spottedleaf let out a loud roar, alerting Flash and the others before going down after the six.
Danyelle spoke "Twilight-chan! We got trouble! Rarity-chan and Shir Blizzardstar were captured by dogs!"
Wendy spoke "They took Erza too!"
Lucy spoke "That tears it! NOBODY MESSES WITH THE BREEZIE TAIL GUILD AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!"
Natsu spoke "Grr!!! You got that right, Lucy!"
Lucy spoke "Mess with one member, you anger the ENTIRE guild!"
“But they could be anywhere underground!” I pointed out.
Lucy groans "If only we had an earth dragon... We have two fire dragons, a celestial dragon, a skyfire dragon, an iron dragon and a pain in the tail lightning wyvern..."
“Don’t worry! I’ll get digging!” I insisted as I started using my tail like a jackhammer.
But suddenly, the holes in the ground were starting to be filled up.
Yellowfang spoke "My lightning affinity is useless here, them dogs have earth affinity."
Danyelle divebombs a Diamond Dog, knocking it out cold.
Wendy spoke "Nice one Dany!"
Yellowfang asks "Think he’ll talk?"
Danyelle spoke "Doubt it, Abyssinians and Diamond Dogs hate each other."
Silas spoke "Well, he might need a little convincing."
Danyelle spoke "I think there's more to this picture than we think there is..."
Twilight spoke "Still, we need to get down there."
Danyelle spoke "Right!"
Danyelle slides down the tunnel she had secured with the others following her.
Soon, after traveling for a while, we encountered a cell, holding two male diamond dogs, one being a blonde redbone coonhound with spiky hair on his head, and the other being a pale-white German shepherd with straight hair on his head, with a couple of strands in front of his face. Strange thing was that their whole left arms with wrapped around in clothe and shackles.
Danyelle spoke "I knew it... Diamond Dogs enslaving their own kind..."
Bringing her claws out, Danyelle picks the locks on the shackles thus freeing the two males.
Danyelle spoke "Good thing I haven't trimmed my claws in a while."
The Coonhound spoke "Tch. Name’s Berkan, and this guy’s my little brother, Gizem. And we were actually imprisoned here when they caught us off guard."
We noticed the two still having the clothes on their right arms.
Danyelle spoke "I'm Danyelle Hikari, three of my friends were taken by Diamond Dogs. One unicorn mare, one chakat and a Diamond Dog bitch. Oh don't give me that look Fluttershy-chan, it's the correct term for a female dog."
Fluttershy still wasn’t happy about that.
Berkan spoke "Well, we won’t be able to help without our weapons. Those punks took them when they captured us. My weapon’s a Zanbato, and Gizem’s weapon is a katana. And besides, don’t ask what’s under the cloth."
Yellowfang asks "If it's not too much trouble ta ask, what happened to yer alpha?"
Berkan spoke "Neither of us know what happened to our Alpha, but we do know that our big brother went missing. So the two of us left home to find him, and you see where we are now."
Danyelle spoke "We'll help you find him."
Berkan spoke "Tch. As much as I hate to admit it, thanks."
Danyelle spoke "Don't make me aim a lightning bolt where it would really hurt on a male."
Berkan spoke "Fine! I get the picture."
Danyelle's left ear twitches as a sudden roar had sent a Diamond Dog guard flying.
Twilight whispers in Rainbow's ear.
Twilight asks "Is it just me or does Danyelle have that alpha attitude?"
Rainbow Dash whispers "You too?"
Twilight whispers "I'm starting to think she's become a proper leader since she does lead the Breezie Tail guild now."
Rainbow Dash whispers "Definitely."
Danyelle spoke "*ahem* We should find Rarity-chan and the others."
Erza shouts "Get your grubby hands off me!"
The male laughs "Hahaha! Funny one."
Erza kicks the male in the groin, causing him to keel over in pain.
The male whimpered in pain at that.
Erza glares at the other males, making them back off.
Danyelle spoke "Not bad, Erza."
Erza spoke "There's clearly a lack of females in this particular pack of Diamond Dogs."
Danyelle spoke "You’re telling me."
But then we noticed Berkan’s zanbato and Gizem’s katana in its sheath with a belt for it.
Erza spoke "Exactly."
Berkan spoke "Heh, gotta admit, thanks for help us back there."
Erza spoke "That's what a clan and a guild does, we look out for each other."
Berkan spoke "But that chroma-head… *Home-sick* Reminds me of someone…"
Gizem put his right hand on his brother’s right shoulder and nodded in understanding. “It’s alright.”
Lucy spoke "I lost my mother when I was 7 though... She was killed by poachers while protecting a batch of eggs..."
Natsu spoke "Spike never knew our mother though, he was raised by ponies."
Berkan then clenched his left arm, struggling with himself.
Gizen spoke "We can tell them."
Natsu spoke "She... disappeared five years ago in an attack..."
I... I couldn't believe what I heard.
Natsu spoke "I'm sorry Spike..."
But I just hugged Natsu while crying tears.
Natsu hugged me back.
Gizem spoke "Listen..."
Gizem got our attention.
Gizem spoke "Since you told us that, it's only fair that my brother and I told you something."
Danyelle spoke "We're listening."
Gizem took the cloak off of his left arm, which to our shock, was icy-blue from a bit past the shoulder to the tips of his claws on his left paw, with a red arm ribbon that had Neighponese writing on it. "My brother and I are what the other Diamond Dogs called Diamond Slayers, since our left arms were cursed as we wield weapons such as swords. But most of us accept it and found new powers, as I embraced my ghost to defy my end."
But then a masked creature wielding a sheathed sword appeared beside Gizem.
Gizem spoke "This is the spirit residing within me. But Berkan..."
Berkan hesitated, but took the cloak off his left arm, which was dark red from a bit past the shoulder to his claws, which looked a bit longer and sharper than the ones on his right paw, which a broken shackle on his left wrist.
Gizem spoke "A year ago, he accepted the maddening powers, but after a battle he won against an army of monsters, he realized his actions and came back home as we helped him try to control his power. The curse cannot be removed, but if you can help Berkan control his powers, it would be much appreciated."
Danyelle spoke "I was born with clairvoyancy though... I can't get rid of it."
Berkan asks "So you understand our situation?"
Danyelle spoke "Yeah."
A blast of ice had frozen two Diamond Dogs solid while a third one got its tail set on fire.
A white foxpony spoke "Stupid mutts!"
A brown foxpony spoke "Serves them right to kidnap the Icefire sisters."
Twilight asks "Icefire sisters? Where have I heard that before?"
The brown foxpony spoke "I'm Scorching Flame."
The white foxpony spoke "And I'm Snowfall Dazzle."
Twilight excitedly gasps "That’s it!"
Lucy asks "What's it?"
Twilight spoke "I’ve heard of them before!"
Scorching and Snowfall giggle "Well, the Icefire Sisters are a fierce duo from the Breezie Tail guild. Plus we're well known."
Twilight spoke "Wha-Rea-Wo…"
Twilight fainted from the shock.
Yellowfang zaps Twilight, jolting her awake.
Twilight yelps "Was that necessary?!"
Yellowfang spoke "Yes it was, yer fanfilly side was showin'. Plus yer a lot like Dash when it comes ta the Daring Do books."
Danyelle spoke "Especially when it comes to magic."
Yellowfang spoke "Game addict."
Danyelle spoke "Hey!"
After Rarity and Blizzardstar were rescued, the group returns home with a plus-sized haul of gems.
