*Scootaloo’s POV*


How are we gonna get our cutie marks?

Applebloom spoke "Heatwave and Seashell can't git cutie marks though."

A silver furred tora-ge chakat child about my age spoke "I can't either."

“Still! We gotta have some kinda talent!” I pointed out.

The silver furred tora-ge chakat asks "But what though?"

“Have you heard of what’s coming up in Ponyville?” A familiar voice asked that… kinda made my wings flare out.

The silver furred tora-ge chakat spoke "Real smooth move there Tails."

Quick spoke "You're one to talk Silverstorm."

Silverstorm spoke "Furball."

Quick spoke "Anyway, I heard that there’s a talent show coming up."

I spoke "If only I could fly..."

Quick spoke "I’m sure you can soon."

I spoke "I've got MDS... Magic deficiency syndrome... It's because I'm half earth pony..."  

Quick spoke "I really don’t see the problem with that. I know you can fly someday. My wings are paralyzed, so I can’t fly with them."

I tug one of Quick's tails.

I spoke "Yeah but you got these."

Quick spoke "I know that. But if I can fly with my tails, then I know you can fly too."

I spoke "I'm at that stage where I can't have my wings fixed..."

Quick grabbed me by the face. “Listen, Scootaloo. We don’t know that for sure, and believe me, I know you’ll be flying one day. No ifs, ands or buts about it.”

Silverstorm shoves me towards Quick, causing us to kiss.

Both of us blushed at that before I started feeling lightheaded, but when my head cleared, I saw all my friends having shocked looks on their faces.

Suddenly, I was hovering in the air.

“H-Huh?! Am I…?” I asked, thinking I was doing what I think I was doing.

Quick spoke "*Smile* Yeah, you are!"

Azure was napping on a cloud with Rainbow, Bold and Mint.

Azure nudges Rainbow awake.

Rainbow Dash yawns "*Groggily* Huh? Wha…?"

Azure spoke "*yawn* Look at Scootaloo..."

Rainbow Dash asks "*Wide awake in concern* Did something happen to her?"

Azure spoke "Nothing bad happened but she's flying!"

Rainbow Dash asks "Say what now?"

I exclaim "AW YEAH!!! I CAN FLY!!!"

Rainbow Dash was shocked at that, before she started smiling with… tears?

The sound of two fox tails whirring was also heard since Quick had found a different way to fly.

“So awesome!” I awed in excitement!

Quick spoke "You just needed a push in the right direction."

I squealed in excitement as I hugged Quick with all my might. “Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!!!”

Quick spoke "Seems Rainbow's happy that you're finally flying."

“I know! It’s so awesome! Now I can be a Wonderbolt someday!” I said in excitement.

Quick chuckles "Same here Scoots."

“Really?!” I gasped in excitement.

Quick chuckles "If you keep working on your wing muscles and I keep working on the muscles in my tails, we might be the best some day."

I got more excited before I whispered to Tails, “Better than Azure Wind and Rainbow Dash?”

Quick chuckles "Who knows? By the time Bold's grown up, he'll be as fast as his parents."

Ooh! This was too much excitement!

Sweetie asks "What about that talent show?"

“Oh! Right!” I realized.

Sweetie spoke "I still find it weird that Danyelle got a cutie mark even though she's only half Pegasus."

Quick spoke "That is kind of strange though."

"It's still awesome!" I cheered.

Quick spoke "I heard from Azure that Danyelle along with two Rainbow Dashes pulled off a Lightningboom and a double Rainboom!"

"T-Two?!" I gasped before I fainted from hearing that.

Quick asks "Scootaloo?"

Applebloom spoke Guess that was too much excitement fer her."

Heatwave chuckles "True there."

Applejack had galloped past the group in a tizzy.

Applebloom asks "Big sis?"

Applejack spoke "Ma had a new foal! A colt!"

Applebloom didn’t say another word as she bolted after Applejack in a hurry.


*Applebloom’s POV*


Ah’m gonna be a big sister! Ah’m gonna be a big sister!

Heatwave and the other Crusaders follow after me.

Quick Fix flew off in a different direction to where Applejack's old clubhouse is and got to fixing it back up, making sure it was study enough to support Silverstorm's weight.

Quick ponders "This shouldn’t be too hard, right?"

The image of a wrench and screwdriver was soon seen on Quick's flanks.

Quick spoke "Well, time to get to work."

The two-tailed foxpony got right to work, strengthening the structure.

Quick spoke "That should do it."

Quick sighed as he turned around.

The other Crusaders were speechless.

Sweetie spoke "Whoa…"

Quick asks "What?"

Silverstorm spoke "The place looks awesome!"

Quick spoke "Thanks. I try my best."

Nightshade was wide eyed since Quick's flanks weren't blank anymore.

Nightshade spoke "You got your cutie mark!"

Quick spoke "Wait, really?! I never noticed!"

Scootaloo spoke "It's because you're an inventor."

Quick spoke "So I am."

Sweetie asks "Where’s Applebloom?"

Silverstorm spoke "I think she's at the house."

Sweetie asks "But why?"

Sugar spoke "Something about a new baby brother."


*Meanwhile, with me and Applejack*


We got into the barn to hear crying.

Pear Butter had one wing covering a nest she had built while resting in it.

Pear spoke "Hello daughters."

The nesting mare furled her wing back up, revealing a soft reddish orange hippogriff foal that has the same orange mane as her.

Pear spoke "Girls, meet Apple Brandy. Your baby brother."

“Aww!!!” Applejack and I gushed.

Pear giggles "Ah can't wait ta see the reaction from the rest of the clan once they find out that Bright and Ah aren't dead."

Apple Brandy cooed, telling Ma that he was hungry.

Twilight soon shows up with her three daughters.

Twilight spoke "Hey Applejack."

Applejack spoke "Howdy Twilight."

Twilight spoke "I heard the news from Blizzardstar who had heard it from Gingerheart. Word travels fast in the chakat community."

Nyx, Akari and Strawberry were curious about the hippogriff colt.

Twilight spoke "I think they wanna make a new friend."

Applejack spoke "It'll be a while before Cross and I have kids."

Pear spoke "*Smirk* And a long while before Heatwave and Apple Bloom have children."

I whine "Ma!"

Applejack giggled at that with Ma.

My face was red from embarrassment.

Twilight spoke "Oh, Cadence and Chrysalis would be having a field day if they were here."

Applejack spoke "Not ta mention, Leaf would be fawnin' over how cute the foals are."

But then I remembered something! “The talent show!”

Sweetie spoke "I'm afraid that we missed it Applebloom..."

“Dangit!” I whined!

Heatwave spoke "There will be another talent show."

“R-Really?” I asked.

Heatwave spoke "Yeah."

But then Silverstorm giggled as shi bumped me into Heatwave, causing the two of us to lock lips and beak.

Heatwave spoke "I'm gonna skin that chakat..."


*Meanwhile,*


Danyelle was shaking since she had seen something in her clairvoancy.

Danyelle spoke "Excuse me for a moment..."

Danyelle flew off to Canterlot.

Danyelle spoke "I gotta warn them!"

The hybrid soon lands on the balcony to Celestia's room.

Knocking on the glass, Danyelle spoke "Celestia-hime, I need to talk to you."

Celestia asks "Hmm?"

Danyelle spoke "I had a rather scary vision... He will try to break free on the same day the Crusaders have a field trip to Canterlot..."

Celestia asks "…He?"

Danyelle spoke "Discord...."

Celestia froze.

Danyelle spoke "One ill-timed squabble between Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle will weaken the seal you and Luna-hime had trapped him in."

Celestia spoke "We may need to find help, and the door’s still sealed."

Drinking some tea, Danyelle asks "Ever thought of reforming him?"

Celestia spoke "Yes, but his habit is a bit hard to break."

Danyelle spoke "We could bring in my counterpart to try to reform him. I heard rumors that she's called the Nekomata of Redemption, meaning she helps bad guys change their ways. I also heard that she reached out to her world's Gilda since the gryphon was lonely and in need of a friend who understood."

Celestia spoke "It will be hard to do. Besides, if push comes to shove, we’ll need to find a way to unlock the door."

Celestia led Danyelle to a sealed door, which was yellow as it felt soft and doughy.

Danyelle asks "Celestia-hime, what is this?"

Celestia spoke "I don’t know why it was sealed, but it’s the door to a dimension ruled by a friend of mine and Luna’s."

Danyelle gasps "You don't mean..."

Celestia asks "You’ve heard of her?"

Danyelle spoke "My sensei heard stories of her."

All of a sudden, a set of claws cuts through the fabric of space before a slender young Draconequus appears.


The Draconequus yawns "Hopefully I’m not too late."

Danyelle spoke "It's be a while before Discord breaks free though."

A beautiful Draconequus female spoke "It's been a long time Sunbutt."


Celestia asks "*Sigh* Pandora. Back from your vacation with your daughter?"

Pandora spoke "Yeah though I sensed that my husband would be breaking free soon."

Danyelle spoke "I sensed that too."

Pandora spoke "Fair enough so Yui and I will be waiting here in Canterlot until the day he breaks free."

Celestia spoke "Good."

Danyelle spoke "Someone should let Luna-hime know."

Celestia spoke "I'll tell her."

Danyelle spoke "That reminds me! Celestia-hime, there have been reports of missing ponies and other creatures. Thunder Spark was last seen somewhere to the north ten years ago, both my younger brother and Roll's younger sister are also missing."

Celestia spoke "That is troubling indeed."

Pandora asks "Yeah, wait. You still have that door?"

Celestia spoke "Yes."

Pandora spoke "Hmm… Looks like only time will tell."
