“It’s not gonna hold him for much longer.” A voice said in the darkness. 

“But we can’t close on such short notice! Acronix already told us the spray would keep him here!” A much deeper voice responded. The other voice looked at him and sighed. “I don’t want to get those kids involved in this. It’s too early. I should just take care of it myself.” 

The person began to walk off until a hand grabbed hers. ‘I know they are not ready, which is why we need to call them here. But they won’t activate if they aren’t all here.” 

“I’m not putting him in danger, or her. Knowing who their guardians are!” She yelled. “They would understand!” He yelled back.

Suddenly, the ground crackled under them as they stepped away from the strange area. “He’s feeding off our argument… like he’s been doing to every camper from the past year.”

The woman thought for a while.

“Fine. Send the letters, we’re gonna have to make sure no drama happens this year, but also have them on hold. If he breaks free, the world is doomed. Not just Everfree.”

The man nodded in agreement. "I will send the letters tonight. We will make sure that the kids are prepared for whatever comes their way."

The woman looked at him with concern. "Do you really think they're ready for this? They're just kids."

The man sighed. "I know it's a lot to ask of them, but we don't have a choice. We need their help to stop him."

The woman nodded, knowing that he was right. They had no choice but to call upon the kids, even if it meant putting them in danger.

As they walked back to their cabin, the woman couldn't help but feel a sense of dread. She knew that they were about to enter a battle that they were not fully prepared for. But she also knew that they 
were the world’s only hope, even if it meant their teenage summer would be interrupted.
