Gallus and clutterstep were taken back to their cell escorted by two guards one a Minatare who was holding two chains attached to collars around their necks. The other one was Zangefe carrying two bowls filled with questionable soup like substance and some bread. Zangefe handed the bowl to Gallus then walked over to clutterstep and dropped it straight on the ground with most of the soup spilling out Zangefe and the other guard laughed as they walked away.
"Wow what did you do to get this three hoof treatment"? Gallus asked as he lifted one eyebrow and gestured at the two guards who just left in confusion.
Zangefe is Iron gantlets right hoof Yake when I first got here, they put me up against this skinny dear I could tell he was weak from lack of food and was in enough fights so when I refused to fight him. As punishment for not obeying Iron gauntlets rules my next match was up against him".
the crowd of Minatare's all waved and cheered as Zangefe stood in the center of the ring the floor of the arena was c a smile on his face he loved too here the crowd cheering his name.
"Zangefe is strongest fighter in all equstria no creature can stand a chance agents Zangefe"
"Zangefe turned toward the gate to see who his next opponent would be to his surprise there stood a blue earth pony with a wight ring around his left eye seeing the tiny pony made Zangefe angry.
"This is Zangefe's challenger this is an insult Zangefe has fought bear's dragons and trolls and know you send a pony to fight Zangefe one with no horn for magic or even wings to fly. This one even comes with a bullseye, so you know where to hit him Zangefe refuses to fight puny pony".
Iron gauntlet looked down from his thrown at the Yake with his fist clenched and making Zangefe lower his head in fear Zangefe then turned to the pony he picked up a nearby mace and got ready for his attack Clutterstep tried to lift up a nearby shield to protect himself. The shield was not the same as the one pony's at the castle use and before he could fully get it of it fell fight on top of him. Zangefe charged at Clutterstep and swung his mace with all his strength Clutterstep tossed the shield of him hitting Zangefe in the face causing him to drop the mace right on his face completely knocking out his right eye.
"Ouch I think you missed the bullseye how about you call a time out and get that checked out".
Zangefe full of rage picked up his mace and started swinging it at Clutterstep however Clutterstep stayed to his right out of his sight Clutterstep then jumped on his back and covered his other eye so he could not see. Zangefe tried to buck Clutterstep off he flopped side to side and was flung in every direction, but he would not let go. In a last attempt to get the pony of Zangefe ran into the wall right before he hit Clutterstep jumped to out of the way causing Zangefe to slam his head agents the wall. Clutterstep saw a nearby net and through it over the Yack with his head hurt and half blind Zangefe could not get the net off.
"So, I think I won can I go home now".
"And that's why Zangefe hates me but with the broken horn and the eyepatch he looks way tougher and scarier know so he should be thanking me.
"I would say that's impossible but after our last fight I might just change my mind so how did you get here in the first place?"
"I've been traveling all around equestria ever since I was a little colt, I've been to canterlot doge junction even beyond the seas to and neighgiria other places. when I finally arrived back in equestria I started wandering again until I came up on the crystal empire, I considered going but then I realized me in a city of crystal a bull in a China shop chose less damage. However, I then realized that not far from there was the Yake village not my first choice but that was the one place that when I break something no one yells at me but before I got there I ran into the one Yake I didn't want to meet".
"Wow you were about as lucky as I was I just got out of school for sping brake and got kidnaped on the way home".
"Thats awful I'm sorry you're missing the holidays with your family and now you're stuck here".
After herring those words tears formed in Galluses eyes.
"It doesn't matter any way all I'd be going to would be a ruined village and a bunch of griffons who don't even care about me! Everyone is always excited when schools let out to see their family's but for me that's when I levee mine.
Clutterstep looked at the sad griffin crying in the corner he scratched the back of his head trying to figure out what to say still not sure Clutterstep walked up to the sad griffin and put his hoof on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry you had to go through that and that you felt alone for so long but from what I see their is one good thing in your life you do have creatures in your life you can call your friends and they can be just as important as family and since there the family you get to choose that makes all the more lucky when they chose you right back".
Gallus looked up at the pony wiping the tears from his eyes and started to smile for some reason hearing the pony's voice calmed the young griffin and made him feel a little better about himself almost as if he truly understood what he was going through.
