Starlight’s Dimensional Drama

by Starlight Fan

Super Happy Crazy Fun Time Japan

Starlight could not believe that it’s come down to this.

So apparently, Chris and Chef are the co-hosts of this show called Total Drama World Tour, which is the third season of this reality show where fifteen contestants would soon be competing in the challenge in Japan.

So the deal was Starlight could stay on the plane Chris and Chef were using if she would help out in challenges for the contestants. Starlight didn’t exactly like this, but given the circumstances, it was best she do this until she were to be rescued.

That is if she would ever be rescued at all.

She was currently waiting behind a wall for her cue since the contestants needed to know of her existence apparently to bring in the “ratings” as Chris calls it. She sighed, this would not be fun.

Chris smirked, he just got done interrupting Harold and Tyler’s little rambling about pinball machine animes or whatever when he decided to make the big announcement, “Oh look. My own personal geek gong. Okay, so I need to make an announcement to you all. It has come to my attention that a certain surprise was found in Japan, naturally, I found it best to share it with all of you. Meet our newest crew member: Starlight Glimmer!”

“What kind of name is that?” Leshawna asked incredulously but soon her answer was revealed when the lilac coated unicorn with the cutie mark walked to the scene with a stone-faced look.

“Starlight, meet our contestants. In Team Victory, we have: Bridgette, DJ, Harold, Leshawna, and Lindsay, Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot has Alejandro, Izzy, Noah, Owen, and Tyler and finally with Team Amazon consists of Cody, Courtney, Gwen, Heather, and Sierra.” Chris introduces the entire cast to the unicorn.

“H-Hi.” Starlight smiled sheepishly, clearly nervous about the fact that there was so many people staring at her.

“Holy Pizza Pockets, it’s a talking pony!” Owen said, clearly in shock.

“Aw, I love ponies and unicorns! Can I keep her?” Lindsay asked bubbly.

“I’m not a pet!” Starlight cried out in offense, causing everyone to stare at her in shock.

Soon the shock wore off and Courtney then spoke up, “There’s no way that this is an actual unicorn. It’s probably just someone really short in some costume. I mean seriously, she looks like she’s from a kid’s cartoon.”

“Indeed. Here, allow me to remove this disguise.” Harold spoke smugly before grabbing Starlight by her mane and pulling it as hard as he can, much to her immense displeasure.

“Hey! Hey! Easy on the mane!” Starlight cried out in pain.

“Wait. You can feel that?” Bridgette spoke in shock.

“Well of course I can feel it. And if I weren’t a unicorn, could I do this?” Starlight asked angrily before flashing her horn and levitating Harold off of her and back to his team, which left everyone shocked once again. There was no doubt about it now, this was a real unicorn.

“OMG. And here I thought that this show couldn’t get any better.” Sierra squealed, jumping up and down.

“Th-This should not be possible. Unicorns aren’t real! They’re a myth!” Courtney spoke furiously.

“Hey Noah, is that the unicorn you told me about?” Izzy asked the bookworm happily.

“That was a joke Izzy!” Noah snapped, “I didn’t think such a thing actually exists!”

“Well this is a real unicorn alright and get used to her presence, you’ll be seeing her more often.” Chris smirked mischievously.

“Where did she come from anyway?” Cody raised an eyebrow.

“She had a little run-in with some radiation and well… she became sapient and turned into this. Yep, that’s what happened.” Chris lied through his toothy smile, “But enough about that. Today’s challenge is basically a gigantic version of pinball. Each team must have a volunteer go inside a hamster ball and roll around the machine to get points. And a special local surprise will be joining you in there as well. So teams, select your ball guy or gal.”

“We choose DJ.” Leshawna said nonchalantly.

“We do?” DJ asked in fear.

“Coolio. Here’s your pinball buddy.” Chris said happily as he held up a panda.

“A panda? No! Remember what happened back in Egypt with that mummy dog, it totally exploded.” DJ said fearfully.

“That did NOT happen. It disintegrated, it most definitely did not explode.” Leshawna reminded her friend.

“I remember when you knocked a poor little birdie out of the sky.” Lindsay recalled.

“Exactly. Terrible. I think that dog might have cursed me.” DJ explained before the panda suddenly began attacking him.

“Aw, cute. Team Chris?” Chris spoke up.

“I’m allergic to panda dander.” Noah spoke awkwardly, clearly lying, “I get hives.”

“What he said.” Tyler nodded.

“I’ll do it. For my team.” Alejandro smiled charmingly.

“Wicked. Incoming.” Chris said before throwing the panda at Alejandro but he caught it and began speaking to it soothingly, “Why hello handsome creature. May I scratch your ears or get you a tasty cookie.”

Every girl on Team Victory practically swooned at that scene while Starlight looked confused, how did he do that?

“Alright. Team Amazon.” Chris said.

“Gwen’s face could use some remodeling.” Heather pounded her fist.

“Nice. I hate to tell you this but we’re on the same team, so you might wanna turn the witch switch back to off.” Gwen said angrily.

“Would you girls like some leadership. I’d be happy to-“ Courtney began before Cody had enough.

“Stop bickering!” Cody snapped, “I’ll do it.”

“Okay. You might wanna hold on to your horses Cody, because you’re riding with our new buddy Starlight.” Chris smirked before shoving Starlight in front of the geek.

“Please don’t hurt me.” Cody stammered as he backed away nervously to which Starlight sighed at.

“Let’s just get in the pinball.” Starlight told him before walking off sadly.

Cody just looked sympathetically at Starlight’s direction before following her.

Soon Chef pulled the slingshot and fired the pinballs into the machine to which Cody and Starlight began running on fearfully as the ball made impact with the bumpers.

“Gah! What is this horrible place?!” Starlight asked in horror as she clung onto Cody’s side fearfully, much to his shock.

Soon they fell into a small hole before being launched into the air and back onto the ground, and finally they made it to the exit of the machine where the contestants were waiting for them.

The ball soon opened and they all saw that Starlight was still clinging onto Cody.

“Ooh. Cody you sly dog you.” Heather smirked mockingly, “Though shouldn’t you be chasing after girls your own species?”

“Ugh. It’s not like that. She was just scared.” Cody grunted in annoyance which alerted Starlight to get off of him.

“I’m so sorry.” Starlight said full of remorse, “I’m so sorry I’m making such a bad impression, I-I should go.”

She then teleported away with what little magic she still had, right now Chris didn’t need her help with the challenges so she had the rest of the day to just be alone.

“Whoa. What’s her deal?” Tyler asked, a bit concerned.

“If you ask me, she has quite the guilt complex.” Noah rolled his eyes, “She honestly handled this new experience as you’d expect her to.”

Soon DJ and Alejandro had gotten out of the pinballs of their own, the former had scratches all over and was carrying an unconscious panda while the latter was unharmed, and so was his panda.

“And with that. Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot wins the first round with the most points, Team Victory you take second, and Team Amazon is last.” Chris said happily, though he didn’t get much reaction, everyone was still trying to figure out what was going on.

“Ugh. You guys are no fun. Cut to commercial break.” Chris groaned before the cameras turned off, “Thank you.”

Chris then took a deep breath and spoke up, “Everyone. I have not exactly been entirely honest with all of you. This unicorn we found isn’t from Japan and she wasn’t dipped in toxic waste.”

“I had a suspicion that this was the case.” Harold said, “Japan doesn’t typically have toxic waste everywhere. If anything, I doubt it would make ponies talk.”

“I agree, just without all the science stuff. It seemed way too weird.” Gwen added her input.

“So if she’s not some toxic waste pony, what is she?” Leshawna asked with a raised eyebrow.

“She came from another dimension, I think it’s called Equestria…” Chris explained, clearly weirded out about the whole ordeal, “Some pony villain trapped her here and she doesn’t have all her magic soooooo, we kept her around to help with challenges.”

“So instead of trying to get her back to her dimension, you instead just made her your servant. And here I thought you weren’t anymore disgusting.” Courtney said angrily.

“Oh trust me, if there’s a way we can get her home, we will. Mostly so we don’t cause an apocalypse with her existence on Earth. Until then, we’re stuck with her.” Chris added sternly, “Now let’s get ready for part two of the challenge, and remember, no one is allowed to know about her true origins, if they do, there will be chaos, and not the good kind.”

Starlight just let herself huddle into a ball and kept whimpering as she stayed behind the cargo boxes.

This can’t be her home. Why couldn’t she just go back to Equestria? Why couldn’t she just leave?

It dawned upon her that she would never see Twilight, Spike, Sunburst, Trixie, Maud, or anyone else she loved ever again.

She then felt a shadow loom above her and turned to see it was one of the contestants, it was the large blonde with the white shirt with a blue leaf. she believed his name was Owen.

“Can I help you?” Starlight asked sadly.

“Well… I don’t really need anything. I… actually came to see you.” Owen explained awkwardly, “You didn’t come back after the challenge ended so I volunteered to go find you.”

“I’m surprised you care.” Starlight admits solemnly, “After all, I had those major freak outs today on your friends.”

“Well not all of them are my friends.” Owen smiled sheepishly, “Heather’s kinda mean, but seriously, I can’t blame you for what happened, some people aren’t really the best under pressure, plus Chris told us what’s really going on with you.”

“So you know I’m…” Starlight began before Owen interrupted.

“From another dimension full of magical talking ponies? Yeah, we do.” Owen giggled.

“Well, at least you know. Even if I was justified in my emotions. I still feel bad for how I acted.” Starlight sighed.

“Ooh, I know. How about I take you to loser class! Team Victory and my team are there since we lost this round. You can start fresh with them.” Owen suggested giddily.

“I’m not so sure I should-“ Starlight began before Owen picked her up and began running out the cargo hold and soon she found herself in loser class being held up by a jolly Owen.

“Hey guys! I found Starlight!” Owen said joyfully much to Starlight’s embarrassment.

“Uh… h-hi guys.” Starlight waved awkwardly.

“Oh hey girl. We thought you’d never come back.” Leshawna said with a welcoming smile.

“Ha ha. I can see why.” Starlight laughed nervously.

“You don’t need to be scared you know. We don’t judge inter-dimensional creatures.” Tyler smiled reassuringly before looking at Noah in confusion.

“You don’t judge, right?” Tyler asked the bookworm.

“I’ve seen a unicorn on a cartoon before. The only shocking thing about this is that she actually exists.” Noah rolls his eyes.

“Yeah. We don’t judge.” Tyler said firmly.

Owen soon set Starlight down as she walked towards the cast and she breathed a sigh of relief. “Well that’s good to hear. Also… I’m sorry I snapped earlier today.”

“Water under the bridge. Given the circumstances, how you reacted is understandable.” Alejandro said with a calm smile.

“Trust us. We don’t blame you for how you reacted.” Bridgette reassured her.

Starlight smiled before realizing a certain someone was missing.

“Did Harold get voted off?” She asked curiously.

“Yeah. He said something about sacrificing himself for his honor. Weird boy.” Leshawna shook her head before sighing fondly, “Though I will admit, I am gonna miss him.”

“Aw, I’m sorry.” Starlight said sadly.

“It’s okay girl. This happens all the time in this show.” Leshawna shrugged with a grin, “I’ll see him soon when the show is done.”

Starlight was starting to brighten up a bit, these people seemed nice, if not a bit strange given how she just spotted Izzy climbing into a luggage compartment, but maybe she won’t be as miserable as she thought.
