Twilight and Shining Armor are standing in front of a gate. As the purple alicorn prepares to go inside, she levitates two shields and a very long spear while Shining Armor prepares a shield.
Look at the purple alicorn. She is quite strong for him to be able to carry such heavy things, perhaps due to her alicorn power, he believes. Twilight is about to go inside, but Shining Armor stops her and asks. "You sure we just keep walking inside without knowing anything?"
Twilight waves her front hoof. "If we fail, we can retreat and try again. We have a teleportation spell, remember?"
Shining Armor nods and enters with the purple alicorn. Inside, there are many colts and fillies playing with each other. All of them don't seem to notice them. The white alicorn thinks that he is walking outside the dungeon and being teleported to kindergarten or something.
"Don't flinch." Shining stops as Twilight glances at him. "We are not outside."
Shining nods slowly and follows Twilight. Every single filly and colt looks at them as they approach the center of the room, then they laugh.
One of them starts assessing. "Oh look at this white unicorn. He is still weak like his mother."
"And this purple pony too." Adds another. "I think she is no better than her book."
Shining is stomping his hooves but Twilight just rolls her eyes and keeps stepping forward. The other colt shakes his head. "This pony is just a bookworm. No wonder she doesn't have any friends."
Twilight smiles. "Then can you all hear me?"
"Of course we can hear you, bookworm." Answers the colt. "We are not like you."
Shining grits his teeth but Twilight spreads her left wing to stop him. Twilight coughs. "I may be a bookworm, but I am real, not a ghost."
The colt is stamped. "Gho... Ghost... we are real pony, you are just a bookworm."
Twilight keeps stepping forward. "Have you ever looked in the mirror?"
All of the fillies and colts are silenced, then their eyes turn red and they begin charging at her. A blue shield appears to cover her. Twilight touches the blue shield, and purple spikes rise from it. Many of them were struck by the spikes and exploded. Twilight's horn is glowing and creates a purple shield around Shining.
The fillies and colts keep punching at the shields. Shining isn't sure what to do while Twilight tries to poke them with the spears, but they do not explode when touched lightly. The purple alicorn throws her spear away and turns toward Shining Armor, then rushes at him.
"What... what are you doing?" Shining tries to stop his sister but it's too late. Two magic shields collided, triggering a big explosion around them. The forces of the explosion caused all the fillies and colts to explode. The dungeon is filled with a chain of explosions, causing many rocks and bricks to fall.
The crystal pony guards are waiting for Twilight and Shining Armor while some of the crystal guards are ready to go inside to support them. Suddenly, the ground shakes hard for a while. One of the guards reports. "There was an explosion inside the dungeon, on the second floor."
"What!?" The other guard commands. "Quick, get the tool for drilling and take some of the miners. We have to rescue them as soon as possible."
"Yes sir."
The Pegasi guards fly back to the Crystal Empire as quickly as possible.
Frost Ice opens his eyes, gets up and breathes heavily, then he takes a deep breath to calm himself down. Looking around, he finds that he is on an airship.
"Where am I?" The dark blue dragon rubs his head and stands up. "Why am I feeling that I am on the ship?"
"Because you are on the ship." A door is opened and Matt steps inside with a tray of food. "You should eat up. Your daughter is fine, except she doesn't want to talk to you."
"Ugh...I'm lost." Frost Ice sits down. "And what are you planning to do with me? Brainwash me?"
"We've got you."." Matt points at the big mirror. "There. Take a look at yourself."
Frost Ice walks to the mirror to look at himself. Many bandages wrap around his body and his horns are black. Frost Ice is surprised when his horns turn black. "What... what have you done?"
"Just make sure that orange dragon touches your horn." Matt spins the sword and . "Enjoy being under her command."
Matt leaves Frost Ice's room and heads to Sunset's room. As he stands in front of her room, he notices the signs that read "no Matt allowed". Matt knocks on the door but an electric shock runs through his body.
The swordman stands up and sees a magic circle on the door. "Ah... you want to ban me from coming to your room?"
A voice comes from inside. "Yes, you jerk. Don't ever talk to me again."
"Come on, that ... ummm ... Necessary?" Matt smiles nervously. "I mean you have a dragon, right?"
Several fireballs are flying from the room and chasing the swordsman. Matt runs away and hides in the wardrobe. A while later, he jumps out and walks outside to refresh himself.
Spike sits outside reading the letter on a table while Diana is trying to fix the airship with some of her magic.
Spike waves his claw. "Hello Matt, I bet Sunset really hates you."
Matt is lying on the table. "I pranked her too hard last time," he says. "Now I can't talk to her like before."
Spike shakes his head. "That's why you have to be careful with your pranks."
"Fine." Matt waves his hand. "I just remember when I pranked her since we were on adventures together."
"I will just go inside to comfort Sunset. See you."
Spike is going to walks inside. A shadow hand drags him back to Diana. Spike notices Diana waving her tail and she tries to get away from the black cat but he can't. The black cat glances at the purple dragon. "You two, prepare yourselves and support Twilight Shining Armor. The dungeon is collapsed."
"What!? Really. What happens there?"
"I saw the guards are taking some miners and tools for digging through the binoculars." Diana rubs her forehead. "It means there is something causing this collapse."
Matt is about to jump out of the airship but Diana catches his clothes with her paws. The swordsman rubs his head. "Uh... the earlier, the better."
"Then just stand still, I will teleport you two to the dungeon." Diana throws him back to the airship. "5 minutes."
Spike and Matt run inside to prepare themselves. They prepare many tools to dig. Matt also takes a drill to the fast work.
Twilight is getting up as she has some bruises. Those stones have closed the outside of the dungeon. Twilight sees her brother lying on the ground with many wounded. Twilight sits down and breathes heavily for a while, then she drags Shining Armor to the next floor.
On the third floor, she sees a room. Twilight placed Shining Armor right in front of the room and lit the campfire. Eventually, Shining opens his eyes and tries to get up, but he cannot because of the bruise.
As Shining rolls, he sees Twilight grabbing the bandage from a magic circle and wrapping it around her wounds, then she wraps it around his wounds.
Twilight starts talking. "Sorry, Shining. I'm just too careless."
"What... what's happening?"
"I... I just made a big explosion." Twilight turns her face away. "That explosion is too big to make this dungeon collapse and... take your life."
Trying to remember what happened before, Shining grasps and stands, but has to lay down after that. "You... are so careless. Why did you make an explosion in the dungeon?"
"I ... forgot." Twilight takes another bandage. "I... made you hurt."
Shining smiles and puts his front hoof on her cheek. He tries to cheer her up. "Don't cry. I still here and alive."
"Thank you." Twilight hugs him hard. "You are the best."
In pain, Shining bets Twilight to release him. Twilight feels dark energy from this door. The alicorn wants to peek inside, but the door is too heavy to open it slightly. Shining Armor is looking at her. "I see you want to step forward."
"No... I will stay here until you are fully healed." Twilight sits down. "That's my fault for bringing you here."
"You can head out. I'll be fine."
"No. I have to make sure that you are totally fine. This dungeon is not moving, but life is."."
Shining Armor rolls around and sighs, then he glances at her sister. "Seem like you have good friends."
"Good friends? Nah." Twilight waves her front hoof. "What kind of friend cuts me in half like that?"
Shining Armor gulps. "Wow. That's a shock."
Twilight rolls her eyes and starts lying on the ground. Shining decides to keep quiet as she doesn't wish to talk about it. The next step will be their challenge
