”Alright Spike! Hit me with another one!”
Twilight says as she leans down facing Spike, dragging a hoof back ready to charge. Spike had a little ball with wings and a small hole to wind-up the object. He stuck a thin metal stick inside it and twisted it, it’s wings starting to flap fast and Spike instantly pulled out the stick, the ball zooming into the air, and Twilight took off, shooting into the air so fast that Spike almost fell over, but catching himself.
The toy zoomed through the air, going around polls, under stairs, and just doing loops in the air, Twilight following all the while. she then caught up within in a few second and slapped it down, it crashing to the floor and it making a small beeping noise, eventually projecting numbers in the air from a small hole next to the start up hole.
”Ha! 25 seconds! Passed my record again!”
She said, plopping down next to the ball and pumping her hoof in the air, flexing her wings. Spike held up a notebook and wrote it down.
”Right on the dot with Rainbow Dash’s as well!”
Spike said, showing Twilight the paper and pointing at Rainbow Dash’s score. FlutterShy’s was on there too, but since she doesn’t like to fly fast and took awhile, Spike just drew an infinity symbol for her score.
Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and possibly FlutterShy, are competing for an event called Parasprite Ball Games, basically there’s multiple games for ponies to participate in like what Twilight is trying out for. Rainbow Dash practiced for all the part because well, it’s Rainbow Dash, even though she’s in the Run N’ Throw which is how far you can throw the ball. FlutterShy is in the last part of the game which she catches the ball then presses a buzzer to end their round. They have it all down for next week when the time comes around.
Suddenly, her mark started to glow, smaller versions of her cutie mark sliding towards the actual cutie mark, making shimmering sounds.
”Oh celestia! I haven’t been on a mission in a while! Oooooh I wonder who I’m going with!”
Twilight started to trot to the room with the map on it, which was a bit a way, and on her way the girls all bursted in the room.
”Oh hey girls! What are you all- Oh! It’s all of you again? That hasn't happened since we met Starlight and the little village.”
”Do you think the map located her again?”
AJ said.
”Ha! This time we’ll teach her a thing or two!”
Rainbow Dash said, punching her own hoof. They eventually bursted into the map room and saw that the map was somewhere they didn’t really know.
”Where in Equestria is that? It doesn’t look uhm, pleasant.”
Rarity exclaimed, shooing the map like she didn’t want to see what the place looked like in real time. The place looked like it was in the mountains somewhere, but also a bit snowy.
”If this is anything like what we did with Starlight Glimmer, we need to be prepared!”
As Twilight said that, they all turned their heads to the doors which were still open, to objects flying towards them. It was the elements, and they were glowing their colors. They flew and frozen over each others heads with their respected element, then floated down gently into their hooves. Twilight looked at it deeply, and saw something swirling inside it.
”Do you all see something swirling in there element?”
Pinkie Pie said, looking up from looking at the element and looking at the other ponies.
”Yeah, I can see one in my element!”
FlutterShy said, tilting her element as the swirl was in hers as well. They all tilted there’s and they looked around, seeing everyone’s element had what looks like something inside, trying to find a way out. They all looked at each other, then every pony started to look at Twilight.
”This might have to do with the elements since they all flew towards us.. hopefully it’s nothing too terrible.”
She looked worried, but then looked determined.
”We all need to go and pack now for the trip, looks like it’s a bit close, but it might take a day and a half on the way there.”
”At least the day would be on the train. I don’t want my hooves to get dirty!”
Rarity said, putting a hoof to her chest, closing her eyes, then opening them and seeing the girls look at her like ’really?’, and she pushed a hoof out, chuckling.
”B-but I wouldn’t mind a little dirt, heheh.”
They all giggled. This trip would be fun, and hopefully what’s happening to their elements will end soon, and hopefully isn’t that bad when they go there. This place was new though, so they would have to walk around aimlessly for a bit until they would spot what looks like the place they were brought there for.
They all went back to their houses and packed up, some of them telling their siblings and family members that they were going on a friendship quest and not sure when they will return. Twilight wrote the Princess a letter just to tell her about the event, and Celestia returned one back giving them the best of luck.
Since it was around 6 pm, they ate before boarding the train, talking about what they would find at the location, like saying if it was going to be scary, happy, or just neutral. They all settled into seats and started to talk more or just look outside. Eventually the train started up and they were on their way.
”What do you think is going to be there?”
Twilight said, looking over at the girls.
”I think there’s gonna be a huge monster that we’re going to have to battle! And I’ll drop kick the hay out of it!”
Rainbow Dash said, punching the air.
”What if it’s another creepy town but instead of fake smiles they can’t stop smiling with this huge party but their village is trapped in a curse and we have to save them from it!”
They looked at her confused.
”Did it have to be a little specific?”
Twilight asked. Pinkie shrugged.
Hey! Just a thought!”
She winked and they all chuckled since it was Pinkie just being Pinkie. Speaking of Pinkie being Pinkie, one of the caboos ponies came out with a cart full of sweets and Pinkie but a lot, but not all, of the sweets and shoved a lollipop into her mouth, the caboos pony smiling with the amount of bits she slammed back on the cart, and walked back to the front with it all. Pinkie handed out some of the candy to her friends and they all started talking again and eating.
Hours passed and the only one awake in the Main 6 were Rarity and Twilight, Rarity making drafts for her new dress and Twilight reading a book, them before taking a short nap and the others doing the stuff they wanted. Eventually the train came to the stop and they woke up the other girls, grabbing their bags and hopping off the train.
There was a path, but it was a really worn out, dirt with weeds being grown out all over the path, leading in between some trees and rocks. Twilight pulled out a map she made before leaving out of her backpack.
”Hmm, I believe this is the place. I made this map before leaving my castle so if the train is right here.. Oh! It looks like it’s a 20 minute walk from here to the location!”
”Eeeeee! I can’t wait! Come on let’s get going!”
Pinkie said, starting to bounce down the path, and the others following behind. Rainbow Dash had to get FlutterShy’s attention back since she would see a new creature almost every 5 minutes, but just walked passed them when a little bird perched on her back the whole way.
”Well, here we are girls!”
Twilight said, all of them stopping at the entrance, some bushes covering the whole a bit but they easily passed through it, Rainbow Dash pushing FlutterShy inside as she skids on the ground. It didn’t take long until they made it out out the cave, the girls confused a bit then gasped as the cave was probably just a short cut to this village, the whole village deep in a hole, the clouds really close to the opening.
How did we not know about this? Or that it’s not on the map fully!”
She looked at her map but then made a small gasp as the map was blank, except for the spot they were at which was dead center. She looked back along with the other girls and there were vines in the way, AppleJack moving some vines away and then all of them gasping as they saw a solid wall.
They all looked at each other concerned, then looking at Twilight. She looked at all of them then back at the town.
”Guess there’s no going back now.”
She said, starting to make her way down the small dirt hill, the girls following behind again. It was a shock that this was a whole new place in Equestria, unless they went through some magical barrier and this place is just closed off from the world. Twilight wasn’t sure, but of course they were going to figure things out, and wonder if their elements where going to help whatever comes in their path.
