//------------------------------// // Epilogue: Yes, I am good enough // Story: Not Good Enough // by Flamewarrior02 //------------------------------// Months later After the lightshow from the Wishing Star, Sunny, Hitch, and Izzy had already headed downstairs for more holiday fun. Zipp was about to join them when she noticed Pipp was still on the balcony, looking up at the night sky. "Pipp?" Zipp asked as she walked over to join her sister. "Aren't you coming down with us?" "You go on ahead. I'll catch up." Pipp responded. Zipp reached her sister and stood next to her. "Whatcha looking at?" She asked. "Just thinking." Pipp replied. "About what?" "About how my Whisentine wish came true." Zipp looked confused. "What do you mean? None of us got each other presents." "Oh, that stuff doesn't matter." Pipp waved off with a wing. "Most of those presents would've been things I don't need or really want and would have just gone in the closet forgotten anyway. Besides, what I wished for wasn't an object." "Then what was it?" Pipp turned to her sister with a smile and pointed up with her hoof. "You see that sky?" Zipp followed her sister's hoof and saw the night sky. While the Wishing Star had passed, the older pegasus sister still had to admit it looked beautiful. "Yeah, it's pretty tonight." "And it's here thanks to you." "What?" Zipp said in confusion as she looked back at her sister. "What are you talking about? I didn't do anything?" "But you did, Zipp. Your detective skills once again saved Equestria!" Pipp beamed with growing excitement. "If you hadn't figured out that ancient unicorn spell was the reason behind all the snow, then we'd all be either ten feet under or frozen solid right now." She turned to her sister and gently nudged her chest with her hoof. "But you saw something was wrong and you worked to uncover the truth. We're all still here because of you and you alone." Zipp took in what her sister said before smiling and chuckling. "Heh. Yeah, I guess I did." "And that's what my Wishentine wish was. That you would truly prove to yourself that you are the best detective in Equestria!" Pipp exclaimed as she briefly flew up to spin in her excitement. Zipp just smiled and pulled her little sister into a hug, nuzzling her chin against Pipp's violet mane. "I think I already did after somepony helped me stop doubting myself." She wrapped her wing around her sister. When her feathers touched Pipp's stomach, the pink pegasus let out a small giggle. Zipp picked this up and looked at her sister with a smirk as a devious plot started to form into her head. "You know, there is something you can give me for Wishentine." She said with a mischievous tone. Pipp looked up at her older sister with terror on her face, knowing exactly what she was thinking. "Zipp, no! Don't you dare." She warned her as she backed away slowly as to not provoke any sudden movements. But she had no such luck as Zipp launched herself at her sister and tackled her to the floor. She immediately got her feathers to work with mercilessly tickling her younger sister, using her hooves to hold the squirming pegasus down. Pipp could do nothing but squirm in vain against her sister's grasp and laugh as a result of her tickling. "Zi-i-i-p-p-pp, you jerk! S-to-oop it!" "You know what you have to say, Pipp." Zipp calmly said, holding back her own laughter. "C-c-come on! D-d-do-do I h-h-h-have to-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!?" "I'm waiting." "Okay! Okay! I'll say it!" Zipp stopped her tickling and tucked in her wings. She gave her sister a chance to catch her breath, still keeping her pinned beneath her hooves to make sure she didn't try to escape. "Well?" She said with an expecting smile. "I'm your Pretty Pink Petite Pony Princess Pillow Pipp Petals." Pipp said with a look of hate at her sister. Zipp raised an eyebrow and Pipp rolled her eyes before adding. “Trademark.” Zipp continued smiling and just patted her sister on the head. "That you are." She said as she helped her sister off the floor. Pipp playfully ignored her sister's smirk and began to head downstairs. "We should get going. The others are probably wonder what's keeping us." "Meh. No objections there." Zipp said as she joined her sister down the stairs. "Just please keep your hooves to yourself. If you ever do that in front of anypony else I will never forgive you." "Aw." Zipp groaned with fake disappointment. "But it would be great material for your fans." "Since when did you care about being on my livestreams?" "Since when did you object to me appearing on them?" Zipp asked back with a smirk. Pipp rolled her eyes and playfully punched her sister before flying down to meet the rest of their friends. Zipp stayed behind and just smiled. "I truly have the best little sister in the world."
