The platform reached the room with Wheatley in Glados's body in the middle of the area. "Okay let me give you a run down, this place is going to self destruct in about 5 minutes. So that means I'm going to kill you within the first 3 minutes, that'll leave a minute break for me before I figure out how to stop the facility from exploding. Also I watched all the tapes of Glados being destroyed so I am NOT going to make those same mistakes.
Number 1, no portal surfaces. Number 2, start the neurotoxin immediately. 3, all proof shields for me." Wheatley stated. After that Wheatley started shooting bombs at Pinkie Pie as she dashed out of the way and ran behind a glass tube with the white gel flowing through it. The bomb shattered the glass and released the white gel which splattered on the floor and panels on the walls. When Glados said "if you can find a way to stun him."
Then she thought she must be able to use his bombs against him. With that in mind, she place a portal on one of the slanted panels and one below her feet as Wheatley shot at her again. Only to be hit by the bomb coming out the other portal. Wheatley had shocks going throughout his body as he would be stalled for a little bit. "Look up there, I brought you a corrupted core. Go attach it to his body" said Glados.
Pinkie shot a portal on a panel above a metal grate. She then jumped and grabbed the sphere. She brought it over to Wheatley's body and plugged it in as the core babbled stuff about space. "Ow, what happened? I will let you know I will not let that happen again" Wheatley said as he place the shields around him at the height where the bomb hit him.
Pinkie thought about it quickly then shot a portal below Wheatley's body and then one below herself. Wheatley blindly shot again sure he wouldn't get hit as the bomb came through the portal below him and blew up against him once more. "Here, I'm sending another core" stated Glados. Pinkie used portals to get to the core and plug it into Wheatley's body again. "Okay this is ENOUGH!" Wheatley shouted as he put shields covering the front half of him below and above.
Upon observation, Pinkie easily noticed his back was completely unprotected as once more she placed a portal on one of the panels behind him. Wheatley shot at her again as she placed another portal below her, just nearly missing the bomb this time. The bomb hit Wheatley in the back once. "I sent in another core, this one should do it!" Glados anticipatively said.
She once again grabbed the last core and placed it onto Wheatley's body. A Generic voice came on overhead "Warning, core corruption at 100%, manual core transfer required. Please go press the core transfer button to confirm the core transfer. Pinkie placed a portal above the button, and one at the floor and jumped in.
As she was about to press the button, it exploded in her face, hurling her backwards, as she groaned on the floor. "HA! I booby trapped the core transfer button...Wait, are you still alive? You are joking, you have got to be kidding me." Wheatley said. Pinkie layed there on the floor hurt too much to move as part of the ceiling collapsed revealing the moon... She had no other option, she used the last of her strength and shot a portal at it.
Several seconds later, the room shook with undeniably great suction through the portal on the ground. Pinkie was pulled into the portal as she grabbed onto Wheatley. She was in space, debris flying past her all around. The only thing from hurling her into open space was hanging on to Wheatley. "Hang on to me, I'm still connected, I can still fix this" shouted Wheatley. "I already fixed it! And you are NOT coming back in"
Glados said as she was back in control. Glados used an arm to smash Wheatley out of her body as he shot deep into endless space. Pinkie wondered why she wasn't flying out into space with him. She looked up to see Glados having a clasp on her hoof. Glados pulled her in, closed the portals, and set her down onto the floor as her eyes closed.
She woke up later with Glados looking down upon her. "Oh thank god you're alright. You know, I've learned something, I thought you were my greatest enemy, when all along you were my best friend. You know what my days were like? I just tested. No one tried to murder me, or put me in a potato, or fed me to birds. I had a pretty good life before... And then you showed up, you dangerous, mute, lunatic. So you know what? You win. Just go..."
Glados stated. The escape pod moved up out of the room and gained speed for some time until it came to a halt with a large metal door in front of her. It opened up. Pinkie Pie was overbearingly amazed at the sight of outside. The incredibly bright, natural light, the birds swiftly flying through the air, the cool grass wet with dew. Out in the distance she saw something that wanted to make her cry with happiness.
It was Ponyville...
