It was another day in Equestria and Mico was rubbing Twilight's shoulders to get her ready.
"Come on, Twi. You can do it." He told her. "It's literally so easy that Indigo just did it, well actually I can do it via Reality Bending."
He was referring to a Transfiguration spell and his very own Reality Bending. A few seconds ago, Macoy had turned a stick into a corn, he was currently eating it as well. Mico then teleported in front of Macoy, he then fired a dark magic blast at Mico, Mico then uses his Reality Bending to turn Macoy's magic blast into a pile of bubbles.
Twilight took a few deep breaths. "Okay. I can do this." She said as Mico gave her a shoulder rub and then he and Macoy teleported back.
"All you have to do is point and shoot. You have nothing to worry about." Mico told her before letting go and looking at the orange. Twilight illuminated her horn before casting the spell on the orange. A magical aura began to swirl around the orange before turning it into a lemon. Twilight would turn to look at Mico after seeing the lemon, feeling confident and accomplished, only amplified by Mico and Macoy's excited in place trotting.
"Ha ha! Ya did it! Growing magic, that's number twenty-four. Twenty-four different types of tricks and counting." Mico said before hearing someone eating the lemon. He turned around and, to his horror, Chad had eaten the lemon. Twilight looked between the two, confused.
"Everybody get down!!" Mico exclaimed as he dove to cover. Macoy had a grin on his face and was twitching as if he had ingested coffee mixed with energy drinks. Twilight quickly grabbed Spike, who was standing nearby, and dove beside Mico.
It didn't take long for Macoy to start bouncing off of walls, running/flying in circles, and making a hyperactive mess of everything.
"Does this always happen?!" Spike asked.
"Yes! This is why he's not allowed to eat lemons. He'll tire himself out eventually." Mico said. Macoy flew in circles that were so fast that they were creating small tornadoes before Mico fired a yellow-colored spell, which causes Macoy to fall asleep in the middle of the still spinning tornadoes.
Spike and Twilight peeked out, looking towards him. Macoy was curled up adorably on the floor, snoring. Mico used his Reality Bending to clean up the mess surrounding everyone.
"That was fast." Spike commented.
"That's because we are in an enclosed space." Mico responded with a smirk.
Spike nodded, turning to look at Macoy.
He was still asleep. Mico placed him on his back.
"That was a lively start to the day." Twilight said, practically impossible to not hear the eye rolling tone in her voice.
"Your sarcasm is appreciated." Mico said with an eye roll. Twilight giggled at the response.
"Want to try number Twenty-five?" JR was heard asking. They turned around to see him, in which Twilight began to grin.
"Just don't do it on me. I don't-" He tried to say. A beam hits his snout before he finished talking.
"Too late." She said as she finished. Seconds later, facial hair grew out of JR's face, making him sport a yellow horseshoe mustache.
"You did it!" Spike exclaimed. Twilight giggled and touched his mustache.
"You know, you look good in it." Twilight said. JR gave her an unamused look and moved her hoof off of him.
"Don't worry Lemon, it'll 'grow' on you." Spike said before laughing. JR looked towards the audience with a slight frown.

Back with the group, the 4 were walking throughout Ponyville. JR was scratching his facial hair, and ended up liking it. Soon, Lloyd joined the group too.
"Twenty-five, Twilight. Twenty-five different kinds of tricks and counting. I thought unicorns were only supposed to have a little magic that matches their special talents!" Macoy said, now fully awake, but still in Mico's back.
"True, for ponies whose talents are for things like cooking or singing or math, but what if a pony's special talent was magic?" Twilight asked.
"Like you and Mico, Twilight, and you two know a ton of magic." Lloyd said.
"Well, i don't have a cutie mark for it so-" Mico had to say.
"Yet. You don't have a cutie mark for it yet LOLOLOLOL, I already have one- no two!" Macoy interrupted.
"Oh really?! What if I'm the one getting my true potential the last, then I stomp you down!" Mico countered, much to his youngest brother's unamusement.
"I'm sure there are others here who know a lot about magic, plus Bluey, don't bloat your ego." Twilight said.
"Okay." Mico responded with neutral look.
"Are you kidding? I don't think there's another unicorn in all of Equestria with your kind of ability, Twilight." Lloyd said with a tail wag. Spike snickered.
"Aww Green you're too kind" Twilight said, blushing. Lloyd blepped at her with a wink.
"You'll see. I'm just holding back Twily and frens." Mico said
"Suck up." Spike muttered with a smirk.
"What was that Spike?" Mico asked with a smirk, startling Spike.
"N-Nothing!" Mico chuckled.
"By the way Twily, How much longer until this facial hair goes away?" JR asked.
"Uh... It should go soon" Twilight answered.
JR was about to say something, but he was interrupted by Snips and Snails running past them.
"Gangway! Comin' through!" Snails exclaimed. Mico quickly picked up Spike so he wasn't run over by the two running colts. Lloyd leaped off of Mico's back and ran after Snips and Snails.
"Snips, Snails! What's goin' on?" Lloyd asked. They slid to a stop, he was still running but uses his Mobiliflash to get back to them.
"Haven't you heard?!" Snails asked.
"There is a new unicorn in town." Snips answered.
"Where was this kind of excitement when I came to town?" Mico asked. He was clearly not happy with that. Twilight playfully nudged him and Mico pouted as a result.
"They say that she's got more magical powers than any other unicorn ever!" Snips said, making Twilight stunned a little.
"Really?" She asked, feeling bad about hearing that.
"What do you mean? Twilight is right there." Lloyd said.
"Yeah, no unicorn is more powerful than her." Spike added. Twilight blushes as a result before becoming interested in finding out who this was.
"Hah! Fat chance, oh wait in case Twily is nowhere as that unicorn, I got her back." Mico said while patting her back.
"Where is this unicorn?" Twilight asked. Snails piped up.
"She's in town square. Come on!" He said as he began running.
"Yeah! Come on." Snips said as he ran behind him. Mico and Twilight looked at each other and began running, Lloyd, JR, Macoy and Spike right beside them.
In town square, there was a crowd gathered around a wagon parked in front of the building.
"Come one, come all! Come and witness the amazing magic of the Great and Powerful Trixie!" A voice called out. Mico, Twilight, Spike and Mico's 3 siblings made it to the front, Mico and JR loafed so the ponies behind them could see. A blue unicorn wearing a lavender wizard hat and cape, complete with yellow and varying shades of blue stars and dots, 'teleported' in front of the curtains. She was the self-proclaimed, great and powerful Trixie.
"Oooh." The crowd that gathered said.
"Watch in awe as the Great and Powerful Trixie performs the most spectacular feats of magic ever witnessed by pony eyes!" Trixie exclaimed as fireworks went off.
"Wow, she's a boaster." Mico commented.
"My goodness JR, did you grow a mustache?" Rarity was heard saying to JR.
"Well yes but actually no." he responded.
"It looks good on you, you should keep it." Applejack complimented.
"Thank you, I wish I liked it as much as you do." JR said as he continued scratching it. Twilight walked over to Mico and JR, hearing what the latter said previously.
"There's nothing wrong with being talented, is there?" Twilight asked.
"Nothin' at all, 'cep'n when someone goes around showin' it off like a school filly with fancy new ribbons." Applejack said, glaring at Trixie as she made a bunch of flowers appear out of nowhere. Mico saw how that made Twilight feel.
"Twilight, I'm sure she meant-" Mico tried to say.
"Just because one has the ability to perform lots of magic does not make one better than the rest of us." Rarity interrupted. Twilight's ears flopped. Mico tried again, only to be interrupted by Macoy and Rainbow Dash.
"Especially when ya got us around." Rainbow Dash said.
"Being better than the rest of us is kind of our job." Macoy added.
Both Applejack and Mico glared at them. Though it was mostly Mico that got them changing their minds.
"Heh... Uh, I mean, yeah, uh, magic shmagic." Rainbow dash said.
"Boo!" Macoy Diamondhero added to show she got the point. Unfortunately, Trixie heard them.
"Well, well, well, it seems we have some neighsayers in the audience." Trixie started. Lloyd then laughed uncontrollably at the statement.
"Is everyone doing bad puns today?" Mico muttered to Twilight and their friends, causing Lloyd to finally cancel his own laugh.
"Who is so ignorant as to challenge the magical ability of the Great and Powerful Trixie? Do they not know that they're in the presence of the most magical unicorn in all of Equestria?" Trixie asked. Mico rolled his eyes.
"Great, it's Blueblood 2.0." he said. Rarity scoffed and turned to Twilight.
"Just who does she think she is?" She asked her. Then Spike piped up to tell Trixie off.
"Yeah! Since we all know that Twilight here is—" Spike tried to say before Twilight interrupted.
"Spike! Shhh!" She said before pulling him away from the crowd. Mico quickly flew up to follow her, grabbing Macoy as he did so.
"What? What's wrong?" Spike asked as he turned around.
"You see the way they reacted to Trixie? I don't want anyone thinking I'm a show-off." Twilight answered, she was pretty nervous.
"Twilight, there's a difference between-" Mico tried to say before fanfare went off. JR ran over to Trixie in a yellow blur.
"So, "Great and Powerful Trixie". What makes you think you're so awesome, anyway?" JR asked her with uncanny look. Trixie gave off a confident scoff.
"Heh, why, only the Great and Powerful Trixie has magic strong enough to vanquish the dreaded ursa major!" She proudly said. The fireworks went off and illustrated 'what happened'. Starting with making the ursa.
Most of the audience gasped in awe, especially Snips and Snails.
“When all hope was lost, the ponies of Puffington had no one to turn to, but the Great and Powerful Trixie stepped in and, with her awesome magic, vanquished the Ursa Major and sent it back to its cave deep within the Everfree Forest!” She told the crowd. Mico gave off a glare, he didn't buy this story at all, not a bit.
Although, before he could voice his own opinion on the matter, Snips and Snails continued to worship her. Much to Mico's annoyance, "I was about to say a unpopular opinion." Mico said to the audience, breaking the 4th wall.
“That settles it.” Snips said.
“Trixie truly is the most talented, most magical, most awesome unicorn in Ponyville.” Snails walked up to her stage and boasted her ego.
“No! In all of Equestria!” Snips added, which only increased it.
“How do you know? You didn’t see it.” Macoy yelled. Mico smiled proudly, appreciating that he wasn't as gullible. “And besides, Twi…” Twilight quickly used her magic and zipped Macoy's mouth before he could finish, literally. Spike ran over to try and unzip it.
Trixie only laughed. “It’s true, my enthusiastic little admirers. Trixie is most certainly the best in Ponyville.” She arrogantly said.
There was only silence and crickets chirping.
“Don’t believe the Great and Powerful Trixie?” Trixie said before giggling. “Well, then, I hereby challenge you, Ponyvillians--- anything you can do, I can do better. Any Takers? Anyone? Hmm? Or is Trixie destined to be the greatest Equine who ever lived!” She said and the fireworks were shot out again. Mico was about to step forward, but Trixie was quick to shoot down this challenger.
"Up bup bup. Sorry friend, but the only challengers are the ones I choose now." She said with a grin. Mico gasped and then growled, "BUT YOU SAID YOU CHALLENGE THE ONES WHO APPROACH YOU!!". Macoy unzipped his lips and grabbed Twilight's hoof.
"Please! She’s unbearable! You got to show her you just got to!” He begged Twilight.
“There’s no way I’m gonna use my magic now, Spike, Especially since…” Twilight told him, but was interrupted by Trixie.
“Hmm. How about…you?” Trixie said, pointing her hoof at Twilight. Twilight gulped nervously. “Well, how about it, hmm? Is there anything you can do that the Great and Powerful Trixie can’t do?” She asked, confident that Twilight can’t outdo her.
"You got some nerve, you know that?" Mico started to talk with no hesitation. "Won't accept me as a challenger, but pick on someone who doesn't want to-" Mico started before being interrupted again.
"Oh please. I don't need to waste my time with, whatever you happened to be. And besides, I remember saying that I am the most powerful pony to ever live. And you don't match that basic qualification." She mocked. Mico was now heated from that statement as his pupils changes from usual yellow to slightly glowing blue.
"Why you-"
“How about you, little hayseed?” Trixie mocked Applejack. This time making Mico's eyes revert back to normal, but still pretty angry.
“That’s it. I can’t stand for no more of this.” Applejack broke.
“You show her, AJ!” Spike encouraged her.
"Make her look worse!" Lloyd added.
Applejack got on the stage. “Can your magical powers do this?" Applejack asked, before she began whirling her lasso. She did a few tricks with it, jumping through the lasso a few times before tossing it to grab an apple off a tree, bringing the fruit back into her mouth and ate it. Everyone cheered for Applejack's performance. “Top that, Missy!” She told Trixie.
“Oh, ye a little talent, watch and be amazed at the magic of Trixie!” Trixie said, her hat levitated off her head as her horn glowed. She used her magic to grab Applejack’s rope and hypnotized her like a snake. Trixie used the other end of the rope to grab an apple from the same tree. The other end that Applejack was distracted by tied her legs together and placed the apple in her mouth. The audience cheered and laughed at Trixie’s performance.
“Once again, the Great and Powerful Trixie prevails.” Trixie announced as Applejack hopped to the end of the stage. Mico, still angry, walked over, lit up his horn with red aura and uses his Aggrobeam to cut the rope off.
“There’s no need to go strutting around and showing off like that.” Rainbow Dash challenged her. Macoy flew next to her.
“Oh?” Trixie replied.
"That's our job." The two Pegasi took off. Rainbow Dash flew to the windmill, flew around the rotor a couple times and shot off to the sky like a rocket.
Macoy Diamondhero flew towards the river and flew circles around it, making tornadic water sprouts before taking to the skies.
Rainbow Dash penetrated through a bunch of clouds and stopped in front of the sun at the same time as Macoy. They crossed and took the paths the other took. Macoy circled the clouds with lightning aura trailing behind him, making a mini-wedge tornado around the clouds that made them disappeared.
Rainbow dash flies though the water sprouts, taking droplets with her as Macoy did the same. Both of them landed on the stage on opposite sides, letting the droplets hit them and create rainbows above them, the same colors as their manes.
"We aren't called Dash and Indigo for nothing." Macoy Diamondhero said with a smirk. Everyone began to cheer for them.
“When Trixie is through, the only thing they’ll call you two is ‘losers’”. Trixie said before she started using her magic again. She shot a beam at the rainbow over Rainbow Dash and wrapped it around her, also taking one of the still spinning Watersprouts. Trixie spun the rainbow around, creating a tornado that Rainbow Dash was trapped in, trapping Macoy in the water sprout. The two tornadoes flew through the sky for a few seconds before they stopped when they reached the ground. Macoy got out his head of the tornado the same time they reached the ground.
"I'm gonna be sick." The two of them said.
“Seems like anypony with a DASH of a good sense would think twice before flying to an Indigo tussle with the Great Trixie.” Trixie said before she summoned a thunder cloud behind them both.
Mico quickly uses his Reality Bending to make the 2 tornadoes disappear and pushing Rainbow and Macoy aside before getting shocked by the cloud.
The crowd began laughing.
"Bluey! Are you okay?" Twilight asked, very concerned. The only damage to him was that he was currently being laughed at. Despite being stuck by lightning, it doesn't affected him.
"I'm fine." Mico said as he shook his hair and facial hair back to normal. He neither sounded fine, or looked happy.
"What we need is another unicorn to challenge her. Someone with some magic of her own." Spike said.
“Yeah! A unicorn to show this unicorn who’s boss.” Rainbow Dash agreed.
“A real unicorn to unicorn tussle.” Applejack added.
"Yeah! Give her the what for LOLOLOLOL!" Lloyd exclaimed, levitating himself with his own magic.
Rarity used her magic to bring the unicorn back to the ground.
"Enough. Enough, all of you. I take your hint, but Rarity is above such nonsense. Rainbow Dash, Macoy Diamondhero and Applejack may behave like ruffians, but Rarity conducts herself with beauty and grace." Rarity said.
“Ooo! What’s the matter? Afraid you’ll get a hair out of place in that rat's nest you call a mane?” Trixie insulted, trying to bait Rarity into a challenge.
“Oh… it… is… on.” Rarity said, taking the bait. She got onstage, trotting around Trixie. “You may think you’re tough, with all your so-called powers, but there is more to magic than your brutish ways. A unicorn needs to be more than just muscle.” She said, before using her magic to grab Trixie’s blue curtains. “A unicorn needs to have style.” The curtains wrapped around her, and she created a dress with it. “A unicorn’s not a unicorn without grace and beauty.” She said, showing off her dress to the audience.
Trixie gave a grin. She had something sinister planned for this.
"A unicorn is not a unicorn without grace and beauty." Rarity said.
“Rarity won’t let Trixie get the best of her." JR said.
"She's strong, she's beautiful, she's—" Spike began. That stopped when Trixie blasted a spell that changed Rarity's hair. Everyone gasped in shock.
"Quick! I need a mirror! Get me a mirror! What did she do to my hair? I know she did something terrible to my hair!" Rarity exclaimed in a panic.
“Nothing.” Twilight lied.
“It’s fine.” Rainbow Dash lied.
“It’s gorgeous.” Applejack lied, which was the biggest shock.
"One of the best moments I've seen in my entire life!" Lloyd said with puppy eyes.
Mico then materializes a mirror in front of Rarity.
"Ugh, no. Green hair! Not green hair! Such an awful, awful color!" Rarity cried out as she ran past a mare with green hair.
“Well! I never.” The mare exclaimed angrily. Lloyd also criticized Rarity and said, "Hey! Having either green coat or mane's really cool, it's related to blue and red."
"Well Twilight, guess it's up to you. Come on, show her what you're made of." Spike said.
"What do you mean? I'm nothing special." Twilight said.
“Yes, you are. You’re better than her.” Lloyd continued.
"I'm not better than anyone." She continued trying to get out of the spotlight.
“Ha! You think you’re better than the Great and Powerful Trixie? You think you have more magical talent? Well, come on. Show Trixie what you’ve got. Show us all.” Trixie challenged Twilight. All eyes began to fall on her.
“Who, me? I’m just a run of the mill citizen of Ponyville. No powerful magic here. I, uh… I think I hear my laundry calling. Sorry. Got to go.” Twilight declined and rushed back to the library. Mico began to follow.
"Twilight? Mico?" Lloyd and Spike called, watching them walk/run away. JR and Macoy followed the duo
“Ha. Once again, the Great and Powerful Trixie has proven herself to be the most amazing, unicorn all of Equestria.” Trixie proclaimed. “Unh. Was there ever any doubt?” She said before walked off stage. As the crowd disbanded, Lloyd and Spike looked at each other and nodded.
Later on, Trixie was brushing her mane in front of a mirror before being brought a smoothie by snips.
“Here’s the oat smoothie you asked for with extra hay, just how you like it.” Snips said. Offering it to her on a tray.
“Mmm. Hay.” Snails drooled.
Trixie levitated the plastic cup and slurped through the straw. “Yes?” Trixie asked them, who seemed to be waiting for something.
“Oh, tell us another story, Great and Powerful Trixie.” Snips asked.
“Yeah, tell us about how you vanquished the Ursa major.” Snails asked. Trixie scoffed.
"Guh! Trixie is far too exhausted from performing feats beyond imagination. Begone with you until morning." She told them. They bowed and began to back away.
"Oh, of course, Great and Powerful Trixie." Snails said.
"Anything you say. We are at your beck and call." Snips bounced off. They continued to back off before Spike and Lloyd spoke.
"What are you two doin'?" Lloyd asked, showing his fangs
"Just bringin' the G and PT a—" Snips started before Spike interrupted.
"The what?" Spike asked.
"The Great and Powerful Trixie." Snips translated.
"Mean and Pompous more like." Lloyd remarked.
"Just bringin' her a smoothie." Snips finished.
"How can you fall for her lameness? She's just a show-off. Unlike Twilight and Mico, who—" Spike tried to said before Snips spoke up again.
"First off, Mico's way too lazy to use his own magic." Snips said. Lloyd let off a wolf growl. "And second, The Great and Powerful Trixie vanquished an Ursa Major. Can your Twilight or Blue Guy claim that?"
"One, my 3 siblings and Twilight saved Celestia AND the Summer Sun Festival. And B; Were you guys actually there?" Lloyd asked. They both had to think for a moment.
"Well, eh, uh... no, but—" Snips tried to justify.
"But nothing. The proof is in the pudding." Spike interrupted this time. Snails drooled once again.
"I like pudding." Snails said.
"Me too, but unless an ursa major comes waltzing up the street for Trixie to vanquish, I am not gonna believe a word she says, and neither should you!" Lloyd said. Spike nodded in agreement. This gave Snips an idea, obviously a bad one.
"Hm, an Ursa walkin' up the street, hey? Snails! You thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?" Snips asked Snails.
"Why is it they call it a flea market when they don't really sell fleas?" Snails asked. Spike continued to look unamused.
"Because the term comes from the phrase, marché aux puces. Literally translating to market of the fleas." Lloyd answered.
"I'm not even gonna ask why you know that. Snails, come on!" Snips said as he began to walk away. Lloyd and Spike walked back to the library.
"Also Spike, that's not what lameness means." Lloyd added.
As they came back to the library, Mico and Twilight were having a bit of an argument.
"Twilight, would you put down that book and just listen to me?" Mico said. Twilight's book was on a pedestal as she was reading it.
"Didn't you see how they hated Trixie's bragging, Mico? If I go out there and show off my magic, I run the risk of losing them as friends." Twilight retorted, looking back at him. Lloyd and Spike peeked in.
"It's not the same thing, Twilight. You'll be using your magic to stand up for your friends. She was hated because she was a loud mouth in addition to being a jerk. You saw what she did to them, showing up is not the same as showing off." Mico said back.
"No, Mico, it's exactly the same!" Twilight said, beginning to raise her voice.
“Come on, Twilight. Any one of these tricks, even the teeniest, would be enough to show up Trixie.” he continued to insist.
“I don’t want to be seen as a bragger like Trixie.” Twilight said, before using her magic to summon a blue door in front of Mico. He tried to say something else but the door was closed in his face. Instead of opening it, Mico simply looked over the top of it, considering he was much taller than the average door.
"But you're the best. Spike, our friends and I tell you all the time." Mico told her.
“Ugh! Please, Bluey. I said no.” Twilight exclaimed. Mico let out a gruff and got off the door, opening it to peek through.
"Fine, if you aren't gonna show Trixie Who's the truly great and powerful unicorn around here, then at least do me a favor." Mico said, slightly cold tone in his voice.
"Now les go please." He requested, slightly less cold in tone. Mico stormed off to his room, with a couple of books.
Lloyd and Spike looked at each other.
"They seem pretty tense." Spike pointed out.
"No kidding. Let's go get them some ice cream to calm them down." Lloyd suggested, pulling a bag of bits out of his mane. Spike nodded and the two ran off to Sugar Cube Corner.
'Time to ask my mom some questions.' JR thought as he was in the middle of Everfree Forest, he then used his Reality Bending to summon a yellow orb to talk with his mom. The orb then turned into magenta color as a voice was heard.
"JR! I'm so glad you're safe. Also, is your siblings okay as well!?" the voice from the magenta orb said.
"I'm okay mom. What about you?" JR answered.
"I'm okay, and..." The voice then paused, the next second it continued.
"...my, what a show that was! How did you enjoy meeting Trixie for the first time? Quite the showboat, wouldn't you say? Certainly, something you and your siblings can relate right!"
JR then said something again, "I know mom, though I don't showoff just because of that, I showoff because it's fun. Plus, despite having enhanced 5 types of senses, and other abilities as well, doesn't mean I am better than Mico himself." he added, "Think you can answer my question."
"Of course my dear."
"This is about how to fully control and use your powers beyond it's limit right, Macoy have already got that one."
"Correct mom!!" JR said with excitement. "How can I get that one, you said it was from the scroll that dad showed me and my siblings once."
"Well, to fully control your powers and push them beyond the limits, you must be on a certain place, at the certain time, and certain situations." the voice from the orb continued, "The chances are beyond extremely rare, it's gonna be like 1 in 1 Trillion."
"Wut the heck!!" JR shouted silently. "But OK."
"I hope you're safe today, and, our conversation is ending, I am running out of energy." with that, the orb's color returned to yellow. JR then dissipates the orb and look in the sky with worry in his face.
"Mom, I hope you are safe, wherever you are."
In the Everfree Forest, Snips and Snails were walking towards a cave, Slightly spooked by the way the scary forest looked in the dark. They walked into a cave and it only got darker from there. So much so that the only thing that could be seen from both of their perspectives were their eyes.
"Oh, how are we gonna find an ursa major when I can't even see my own hoof in front of my face?" Snips asked.
"Hold on." Snails said as she began to spark his horn to light up the cave. Like the classic 3rd time's a charm trope, it didn't light up the cave until the 3rd try.
"Oh, heh. That's better." Snips said. It was at that moment when the 2 of them realized that the breeze they were feeling on their backs wasn't coming from the entrance of the cave, but from the snout of an Ursa behind them. They turned around and saw the ursa wake up and growl at them.
They both screamed as the ursa roared.
Lloyd and Spike were eating some of the ice cream they just bought, by the edge of town. Not from the containers, they had ice cream on cones. Spike's was strawberry ice cream. Lloyd's was cheese ice cream.
Then they heard Snips screaming and Snails panting. They both looked up and saw the 2 colts running past them.
"Snips? Snails? What's going on?" Spike asked.
"Can't talk now." Snips exclaimed.
"Got a major problem!" Snails exclaimed. Lloyd and Spike looked towards them confused.
"Yeah, ursa major, to be exact." Snips said. Spike scratched his head as Lloyd turned around, seeing the ursa. Hearing it Growl too. Spike gasped as he turned around.
"That's more of a minor incident." Lloyd said before scooping spike on his back and runs in a flash, startling Snips and Snails. As he ran, the containers of ice cream floated in the air from his speed. He came back and Spike grabbed them and they continued to evade the ursa. It roared and followed them
"Trixie!" Snips and Snails exclaimed.
"Twilight, Mico!" "JR, Macoy!" Lloyd and Spike called.
The two colts got to Trixie's wagon and banged on her door. Calling out for Trixie and talking over one another in a panic. Trixie was not happy when she got to her window.
"Trixie thought she said the Great and Powerful Trixie did not want to be disturbed!" Trixie berated. Snips laughed nervously.
"We— We have a— a tiny problem." Snips said nervously.
"Actually it's a big one." Snails said.
"What is so important that you cannot wait until morning to disturb Trixie?" She asked angrily. Her anger turned to shock when she heard the growl and roar of an Ursa. She looked up and saw the beast knocked over some trees and that made her scream and opened the door, hitting the two colts as she ran out and away. Screaming her head off. Snips and Snails were right behind her. The ursa crushed her wagon and roared after them.
Lloyd and Spike ran inside the library, where Twilight was still reading the book.
"Twilight! You've gotta come! Quick!" Spike said as he hopped off.
"I already told Mico you two, I don't wanna show up Trixie!" Twilight told them, Not wanting to go through the same argument with different creatures.
"No! You don't understand, it's-" Lloyd tried to say.
The roar of an Ursa was the next thing they heard, interrupting what Lloyd was going to say next.
"That's not what I think it is, is it?" Mico asked as he came out of his room, wearing a green glasses.
"Only a minor chance it isn't." Lloyd responded.
JR had spent a few minutes using 6 out of hundreds of powers to improve his skills, despite already knowing how to use them. He was able to use Pyrokinesis to make a crescent-shaped fire that cuts through one tree, he then shoots a water beam to extinguish the fire in the tree, he blows a gust of wind in all directions, shooking the branches in the tree and making some leaves fall in the ground, he also released a yellow electrical shockwave that lit up the leaves in the trees around him with dim yellow light. He stomped his front hooves and small, rocky spikes shoot out around him, that dissipated before going more than 10 meters. And the last and his favorite power, he lightly stomp his right hoof and leaves started to grow back from the trees, he also used it to cause the grass around him to reach his stomach's height.
'Goddamn, and I had a good feeling about it, too.'
JR's thoughts were stirred when he felt the ground shake without him using Geokinesis. As soon as he heard ponies screaming from far away thanks to his enhanced hearing, he dashed towards Ponyville, with his eyes glowing blue once more. He saw a crowd of ponies running away from something, panic and fear spread across all of their faces. He ran past them, deducing that the source of their panic must have been that way. It didn't take him long to find the trouble.
After turning left onto another street, JR saw it, a giant, bear creature was rampaging through the town. Its body was blue and transparent, speckled with white stars and constellations. Every step it took cracked the earth beneath it. It let out a monstrous roar as it began chewing on the roof of one of the houses.
"It must be the Ursa Major." he mumbled to himself.
JR turned his attention away from the Ursa when he spotted movement in the corner of his eye. He saw Twilight carrying Spike on her back, along with Mico, Macoy and Lloyd following them, running in the direction of the commotion. He caught up with her as she approached two colts, who he recognized from Trixie's performance earlier that day. "What's going on!?" She asked them.
"We brought an Ursa to town!" The chubby one replied.
"You WHAT!?!" Twilight reacted appropriately.
"Don't worry, the great and powerful Trixie will vanquish it!" The lanky one reassured her, gesturing to the magician who JR and his brothers now noticed was standing a few feet away from them.
"...I can't." Trixie reluctantly admitted.
"WHAT!?" The colts were taken aback.
"I can't! I never have! No pony can vanquish an Ursa Major! I just made the whole story up to make me look better!"
"MADE IT UP!?!"
"Jesus Christ what a shocker!" Mico said as he raised an eyebrow towards his 3 siblings, he then facepalmed(or hoofpalmed), followed by Lloyd, then JR and Macoy simultaneously.
Trixie's confession was interrupted when the ground shook again. Everyone turned to see the Ursa was getting closer.
"Everyone, stand back, because terrors are about to be even better." JR said with smug. Twilight and their friends look with concern, but they give him nod before Mico leads everyone away. JR then look back at the Ursa
He smirked as he casually strolled over to the Ursa, which towered over him. Despite that, he wasn't worried in the slightest, 'Come on JR, you can do it. This thing is barely even the size of a titan', he thought. "Hey there, big fella! What brings you around here? Lookin' for some picnic baskets to steal?"
The Ursa looked down at the yellow pony, growling. It roared before slamming its paw down on top of him. When the Ursa lifted its paw, however, there was no sign of JR. "So, you wanna explain why you're so angry?" The Ursa turned to find its target a few feet away from where he previously stood, leaning against one of the houses and seeming quite relaxed despite the situation. "I'm guessing you either get pissed off on this 2 kids, or there's something else I'm missing here."
JR approached the Ursa a few feet before stopping a few feet, creating a gust of wind in all direction. The Ursa stopped for a moment before JR was enveloped in yellow aura. His mane flowing like a wave from oceans while glowing neon green, orange and red. His tail also flows the same manner as his mane, while glowing neon blue and yellow. His bare hooves glowing green while looking at the Ursa with golden eyes.
The Ursa took a swing at him, and JR does nothing but raise his right hoof, raising a rocky wall that blocks the Ursa. He jumped as the rocky wall disappeared. JR enveloped himself with fire aura as he flipped mid-air, creating a fiery psychic knife that hit the Ursa in left paw. The Ursa howled in pain as the flames dissipates. JR landed on the ground. The Ursa glared at the pony, its eyes filled with pure rage.
But unbeknownst to everyone, Black Entity was standing on a random tree, his red aura-enveloped left hand raised pointing at the Ursa, "You don't know what you're doing, JR. But atleast I know what I'm doing." He said with smirk.
Back to the fight, "Oh!? What's that? Are you saying 'I shouldn't play with fire'? Too bad I'm too brave to avoid that." JR said. In the background, Mico caught a glimpse of red eyes in the shadows, whom he recognized as Black Entity, his eyes widened.
JR then said, "You know, if you hate fire, then you should go for water instead." The Ursa roared as it charged at JR, he did nothing about it again, instead he raised his right hoof and shoots water like a fire hydrant. The Ursa was pushed back from the attack.
In the background, Black Entity chuckled, "Useless ability."
The Monster roared as it swung it's claw at the yellow pony 2 times, both attacks easily avoided via teleporting in a yellow flash. With an opening, JR shoot a strong gust of wind that pushed back the Ursa farther than his water beam. He shoots 5 yellow lightning bolts that hits its face.
JR materializes a green spectral axe and waited for the monster to charge, and it come true. He evaded the attack by running to its left and swung his axe sideways, the Ursa roared in pain and stopped in place, giving it a strange look from JR and everyone watching.
His eyes falls in a certain tree where Black Entity stands, his eyes widened as he looks to his friends while pointing a hoof on it. Everyone saw Black Entity's glowing red eyes in the dark, shivering everypony's spines.
JR then let his axe dissipates as his hooves glow brighter, all while evading another attack. His hooves then turned red as the Ursa charged again, JR then pushed his front hooves forward and released a wave of fire, making the Ursa roar again. He turned around and danced as if the problem has been solved, but the Ursa charges again right behind him, earning a gasp from the watchers. But as it reaches JR, he strike his left hoof on behind making a small EMP that knocked back the Ursa. He stopped dancing, which made his friends go silent. "Is this all you got?" JR said with smile.
He then picked up his scarf and folded it in his eyes, making the crowd gasp again. "And I will do it with this." JR said with smile again. The Ursa let a roar, furious at not landing a single hit. It reared back on its hind legs then slammed both paws down into the ground. The Ursa had been sure that had done the trick, only to see JR had avoided harm once again, refusing to stay still, thanks to his enhanced vision.
JR then combined his wind and water, creating an ice beam that struck the Ursa in it's paw, while letting a painful roar. He then combined his wind and fire to create a fire whirlpool, pushing back the monster further.
JR will now finish the job, prompting him to evade another attack in a instant, he then blocked another attack by growing vines in the ground in front of him, blocking the Ursa. He made some distance from the monster as JR projected a thorn that pricked the Ursa in the face. JR then launched a brief yellow laser from his hooves that hits the Ursa, finishing the 1 minute-ish fight. JR returned to normal, his mane and tail both stopped glowing and flowing, along with his eyes being blue again, as well as his bare hooves stopped glowing green.
JR then unfolded his scarf and wear it back to his neck as he spotted Mico, Lloyd, Macoy, Twilight and company. Several townspony came out of hiding after the havoc.
"That was amazing, Goldie!" Spike praised the nature balancer.
"Now that's what I call 'True Potential'." Mico said while floating with cyan aura and clapping.
"Eh, it wasn't anything special. It was actually easier than I thought it would've been. Besides, it's not over just yet." Lloyd said as he turned back to the Ursa. While it was no longer mind controlled by Black Entity, it was still dangerous. The Ursa started to get back up, growling as it did. The fear returned to all the ponies (except JR and his siblings) watching. "Alright, Twilight. You're up."
"Me!?" She blanched.
"I know it's dangerous, but it's just an animal, so I don't wanna kill it. You, on the other hand, can handle it without violence. I'm sure you've got some spells for this, right?"
"Come on, Twilight! You can do it! I know you can!" Spike added, supporting Lloyd. Twilight looked nervously at the Ursa, who was starting to slowly stomp towards them. She gulped before a look of resolve settled on her face. She marched forward until she was right in front of the giant.
The purple unicorn put all of her focus into her horn as it began to glow. Mico and his siblings felt a breeze begin to pick up around them. From the breeze, soft music began to play. The occasional bounty hunter watched as the wind carried some purple musical notes, most likely from Twilight's magic, towards the Ursa. It seemed to enjoy the sound of the music as it started to calm down. In fact, it looked like it was getting sleepy.
"Nice use of number 16!" Spike whispered from beside him.
Twilight's horn flared up marginally as she put every inch of her focus into her magic. Off in the distance, a water tower became surrounded in a magenta hue. The water tank was levitated from the tower, tipped over to drain the water out, then carried over to a nearby barn. From within the barn, several "moos" could be heard from cows that were most likely inside, followed by a "Golly, don't ya know?" before the water tank came out the other end.
'That had to be the fastest milking of cows I've ever seen, or heard in this case.' Mico thought
"That's new." Spike commented from the side.
Twilight dug her hooves into the ground, the glow from her horn becoming as big as Twilight herself. She managed to levitate the Ursa itself just as it passed out. She brought the water tank filled with milk over to the beast and placed it in its paws. The Ursa began sucking on it like it was a baby's bottle.
The townsponies all watched in awe at Twilight's magical abilities. It was incredibly rare to see a unicorn pull off feats as great as this. Finally, Twilight lifted the Ursa all the way back towards the Everfree Forest until it was out of sight. She released her magic, sweating and panting from the strain. The crowd of ponies that had been watching all cheered, singing the purple unicorn's praises.
"Heavens to Betsy! We knew ya had ability, but not that much!" Applejack commended her.
"I'm sorry. Please, please don't hate me!" Twilight begged, much to everyone's shock.
"Hate you!?" The girls all vocalized JR's thoughts. Why the heck would she think that? "Why, whatever do you mean, darling?" Rarity was the first to ask for clarification.
"Well, I know how much you all hated Trixie's showing off with her magic tricks, and I just thought-"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Magic's got nothing to do with it!" Rainbow Dash interrupted Twilight before she could finish. "Trixie's just a loudmouth."
"Most unpleasant." Rarity agreed.
"All hat an' no cattle." AJ added.
"So... you don't mind my magic tricks?"
"Your magic is a part o' who you are, sugar cube. And we like who you are. We're proud to have such a powerful, talented unicorn as our friend." The farm pony said.
"And after whupping that Ursa's hindquarters, we're even prouder!" Rainbow declared.
'Technically I whupped its hindquarters, but I guess we're just gonna gloss over that.' JR thought, with his mind being read by Mico, Macoy and Lloyd themselves
"You are?" A hopeful smile formed on Twilight's face, and the group all gave nods of confirmation. It seemed as though things were starting to wrap up nicely.
"Wow, Twilight! How'd you know what to do with that Ursa Major?" Spike asked, curious.
"That's what I was doing when you came looking for me. I was so intrigued by Trixie's bragging that I was compelled to do a little reading up on them."
"So it is possible to vanquish an Ursa Major all by yourself?" The dragon continued his question.
"That wasn't an Ursa Major. It was a baby, an Ursa Minor." She explained.
"That was just a baby!? Aw damnit! You're telling me I didn't even get to fight the real thing!?" JR cursed, followed by someone from the crowd of ponies shouting "Language!" at him.
Mico then facepalmed, followed by Lloyd, then Macoy. "I'm guessing it was only rampaging because, like JR said, it was possessed by Black Entity himself. Though, I don't think it would have come to town if someone hadn't woken it up." Mico glared at the two colts that brought the Ursa to town, and soon so did everybody else. He then impose his presence along with glowing blue eyes, but focuses on his friends now.
"Well, if that was an Ursa Minor, then... what's an Ursa Major like!?" The fear in Spike's voice was evident. Twilight took a few seconds to think of her response.
"...You don't wanna know." She eventually settled with.
"No, actually, I really wanna know now."
Everyone frozed at the voice and turned to see Black Entity sitting on the same tree he was standing the whole time. "I bet my dark magic it is 12 meters tall." With that, He disappeared in a glitchy aura.
Everyone's attention was drawn away from Black Entity when they heard the sound of someone chuckling. It was then they saw Trixie emerging from the crowd. "Ha! You may have vanquished an Ursa Minor, but you will never have the amazing, showstopping ability of the great and powerful TRIXIE!" The showboat threw down a smoke bomb to make herself disappear... only to be seen running away in the distance, not having teleported at all.
"Why that little...!" Rainbow Dash was about to fly after Trixie, only to be stopped by Twilight.
"Just let her go. Maybe someday she'll learn her lesson." She sighed.
"Now, about you two." Mico addressed the two colts, who were in the process of trying to sneak away. They chuckled nervously when they saw that they had been caught. He impose his presence again, this time making their area glow blue.
"W-We're sorry that we woke up the Ursa Minor." the smaller apologized.
"We just wanted to see some awesome magic!" The skinny one added.
"Yeah! And the way you vanquished that Ursa Minor was awesome!"
'These two seem a bit too happy about almost getting the entire town killed for some entertainment.' JR thought.
Twilight, feeling the same way as the blue unicorn, did not let up with her glaring. Noticing this, the two kids lost their smiles. "We deserve whatever punishment you give us."
"For starters, you can clean up this mess." Twilight gestured to some of the wreckage caused by the Ursa Minor. "And... what do you think, Spike? Should I give them number 25?"
The two kids shared a look of horror as Spike grew a devilish smile. "Oh, 25? Yes! And I think I deserve it, too."
'Huh?' JR thought, 'Oh wait, the spell that made myself some good mustache.'
"Huh?" The colts echoed his thoughts.
"I think you're right." Twilight's horn glowed, and the two colts flinched in preparation for whatever the unicorn was about to do. Spike, who was about to receive the same treatment, actually looked excited. With a flash, Twilight cast the spell on Spike and the colts. As for what the spell did....
...It gave the three of them mustaches.
"Sweet~!" The three of them all said together. Seeing them all wearing the facial hair proudly, it made JR want to have those again, and he did on himself, much to Lloyd's wheezing.
After the whole incident was resolved, the townsponies all returned to their homes, including JR and his brothers. It was now the next day and was wondering why would Black Entity do that last night, the Mane 6 and Spike gathered around JR and his relatives. He then summoned 6 balls that resembles the powers he used last night too, the girls are shocked at his near limitless powers while doing an experiment.
Macoy also joined the experiment and uses his Light/Dark magic on experiment, despite being weaker than JR's, his powers are tenfold that of princesses. Their experiment was over and Mico tried asking his mom why Black Entity is involved last night, but she doesn't know why, much to his disappointment.
'Both Macoy and JR got their true potentials, it's now Lloyd's turn. But when?' Mico thought.
