I am but one pony in a sea of many,
All with their own quirks and foibles,
But I can't help but feel that I stand out,
In a way that is not always welcome.
I am unique, that much is true,
But sometimes it feels more like a curse,
As others shy away or mock me,
For being different, for standing out.
But I know that I am not alone,
In feeling this way from time to time,
For we are all unique in our own way,
And that is something to be celebrated, not denied.
So I will embrace my uniqueness,
And hope that others will do the same,
For when we embrace our differences,
We can create a brighter future for all.
But alas, it seems that unity is the goal,
The one thing that everypony strives for,
But I can't help but wonder if it's worth it,
If it means we must all be the same.
Sure, we may have peace and harmony,
But at what cost? Our individuality,
Our unique traits and characteristics,
All lost in the quest for unity.
No, I believe that diversity is the key,
The true path to true harmony,
Where everypony can be themselves,
Without fear of judgment or discrimination.
So let us embrace our differences,
And celebrate what makes us unique,
For it is only through diversity,
That we can truly thrive and prosper.
