Epilogue

Later, that same evening.

Applejack and Rarity sat in Applejack's house, a mug of apple cider in each others hand.

Rarity was the first to speak, breaking the silence between the two.

"Thanks for not giving up on me," she said, "thanks for reminding me who my real friends are."

"Of course, I didn't give up on you," Applejack replied, "you think I would just abandon you? Not in a million years."

Rarity put her cider mug down, her and Applejack taking each others hands and looking into each others eyes.

Back on Earth 12015, Françoise Dupont Middle School.

The next day.

Marinette and her class took their places as they returned to school after the Akuma attack the previous day.

"Alright," Caline Bustler said, "it looks like everyone is here."

She suddenly noticed, four people on her attendance list that were not present in the class room, they were: Plainity, Sana Wilson, Brian Pichelli and Jacqueline Apple.

"Oh, I forgot to mention," Marinette said, "they left late last night."

"Bummer," Nino commented, "I'm really gonna miss those guys."

"Yeah," another of Marinette's friends and classmates, Kim Chiến Lê Ature, nodded, "especially the Jacqueline girl, she looked like a worthy opponent for an arm wrestle dare."

"It's kinda strange," Alya remarked, "they just happened show up at the same time as those four new heroes appeared to help out Ladybug and Cat Noir.

"Yeah," Adrien murmured, aloud, "I wonder if we'll ever see them again?"

"I don't know," Marinette said, "guess we'll never know."

"The nerve of them," Chloé grumbled, "they didn't say goodbye."

"Alright, alright," Caline Bustler said, "settle down everyone, transfer students or not, we still have a class to start today."

Back with the girls, the day after their friends return.

After spending the night at Applejack's house, Rarity and the cowgirl met the others at Twilight's house to decide what to do about the Multiversal Viewer.

After debating with everyone, Twilight had realised that the Multiversal Viewer was far too dangerous to keep around and thus she had decided to destroy the machine so the events of the previous day could not be repeated.

Her friends had assisted with the machine's dismantling and destruction.

"I think I've learnt something from all this," Twilight said, looking at the pieces of her machine around her, "there are things out there in the multiverse we're better off not knowing about."

A magical portal opened in New Orleans and Dr. Strange walked into the parlour of Nimue Inwudu a.k.a. Madame Xanadu, the seventh member of the Sentinels of Magic.

Madame Xandau was a powerful fortune teller as well as the guardian of various magical artifacts, the inside of the parlour was adorned with books, objects and jars containing essences of malevolent entities.

"Stephen Strange," Madame Xandau greeted, rising from her fortune telling table as the Sorcerer Supreme approached, "to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?"

"That message you sent me and the others," Dr. Strange replied, bluntly, "my question is why? I trust you are aware of what we had to do in order to retrieve those four?"

"I can assure you, Stephen," Madame Xanadu answered, "I well aware of consequences, but those girls and their allies will be needed for what is to come."

She returned to her table, gesturing to Dr. Strange to join her, which he obliged.

"I have seen the future," Madame Xanadu said, beginning to flip over tarot cards, "and there is a storm coming, better batten down the hatches, because we're going to need all the help we can get."

Dr. Strange looked down at the last card Madame Xanadu had flipped over, Death.
