It was another day at the Crystal Brighthouse over at Maretime Bay as Sunny Starscout, Izzy Moonbow, Pipp Petals, Zipp Storm, and Hitch Trailblazer were going on with their daily lives until something struck them.

Sunny thought to herself, "For some reason I feel that there is more about Equestrian magic that even I don't know about."

Izzy asked, "What do you mean by that Sunny?"

Sunny answered, "I feel that I know so much yet know so little when it comes to this."

Zipp then thought, "Maybe you're just overthinking it."

Pipp added, "Maybe you should just worry about your looks."

Hitch mentioned, "Whatever it is, I'm sure we will be able to find that out."

The Mane 5 then went outside still feeling curious about the history of Equestrian magic, but then noticed a dragon coming out of dimensional holes known as Discord who was ready to tell them about it.

Discord stated, "I can tell you all about the history of Equestrian magic."

Sunny asked, "What exactly do you know about its history?"

Discord answered, "Its history predates Equestria itself and goes back to when it was once known as Pony Land and with a creature by the name of Megan Williams."

After hearing this, a flashback started to occur with the Mane 5 remembering what they saw in what was left of Ponyville.

"Hey look what I found!" shouted Izzy.

"What is this house that is here?" asked Sunny.

"According to this plaque, it was landmarked, and it can probably tell us something." replied Hitch.

Zipp then read the plaque and mentioned, "This is Paradise Estate where Megan Williams, the savior of Pony Land and keeper of the Rainbow of Light would sometimes reside when visiting the ponies."

Pipp then asked, "What kind of a creature is this Megan Williams, because that sounds like a strange name for a pony or even any other creature in Equestria?"

As they got back to the present Discord mentioned, "Megan Williams isn't a pony nor is she even from Equestria itself.  She is a human from a place called Earth.  I know this because I met her myself especially after Twilight Sparkle brought her back after she found a book that chronicled her time in this world even though she originally found it by accident."

Another flashback occurred, but this time with the Mane 5 in what was left of Canterlot Castle.

Sunny noted, "I can't believe that were in what appears to the throne room of the Equestrian rulers where princesses such as Celestia, Luna, and even Twilight herself sat in."

Pipp stated, "I can't see why anyone would just abandon this place."

Zipp mentioned, "Maybe it was just too much of a hassle to maintain."

Izzy shouted, "Look at what appears on this stained-glass window!"

Hitch looked at it and said, "I have seen a lot of creatures, but not one like this before."

"Do you think that it's some mythical creature that doesn't really exist?" asked Sunny.

"It's hard to know who or what that creature is supposed to be." answered Hitch.

They then found themselves in the library and then stumbled onto a book that was titled "The Legacy of Megan Williams and Her Adventures in Pony Land" as everything started to come together.

"Here's more about this Megan Williams!" shouted Izzy.

"You don't have to keep shouting Izzy!" replied Sunny.

"Nonetheless, we now know who this Megan Williams creature is, though some of the writing looks as if this book was updated not that long ago with events involving her that are recent than what the book originally mentioned." stated Hitch.

As they returned to the present Sunny said, "My guess is that if we really want to know about how far back Equestrian magic goes, we will have to meet Megan Williams, but she is probably long dead by now just like Twilight is."

Discord then mentioned, "Megan never died, and she is still alive to this very day."

Sunny asked, "How does this make any sense when she was here thousands of years ago unless humans have a way of living longer than any creatures in Equestria?"

Discord answered, "Even when she came back to Equestria with Twilight the time here moves a lot slower than back in her world.  In reality, a thousand years for us doesn't equal that much back for her, which really surprised her when she met Twilight.  In other words, she is only slightly older than when she was here the last time."

Sunny stated, "That's great to hear, but it doesn't state how can any of us meet Megan."

Discord then mentioned, "There was a portal in Ponyville that allowed for Megan to come to Equestria and the same if they wanted to visit her, but I feel that it might not be around anymore."

"Is there is another way to get to her?" asked Sunny.

"There is always the Rainbow Bridge itself, but that requires flying over it." replied Discord.

"Where are we supposed to find that?" added Zipp.

"The very crystals you ponies' unified to bring back magic to Equestria actually created that new rainbow that will take you to her." explained Discord.

"That's something we didn't expect." mentioned Hitch.

Sunny then stated, "I will use my alicorn powers to fly over that rainbow and bring Megan here."

After saying that, Sunny sprouted her wings and horn and flew over the Rainbow Bridge that allowed her to get to Megan.  When she landed, those said wings and horns disappeared as she started to approach a ranch.  As she got there, she noticed a blonde cowgirl that matched the description and started to talk to her.

Sunny asked the cowgirl, "Does your name happen to Megan Williams?"

The cowgirl asked back but didn't face her, "I would like to know why are asking that."

Sunny then mentioned, "I say this because I know that you are the savior of Pony Land and the keeper of the Rainbow of Light and my name is Sunny Starscout, but you can just call me Sunny."

The cowgirl then turned around to notice another talking pony that came to her, but she was sort of surprised about what she saw.

"Did you come here through the portal that Twilight had built a while ago?" asked Megan.

"Actually, I came here via the Rainbow Bridge." answered Sunny.

"How is that possible when you are an earth pony?" noted Megan.

"The new Equestrian magic allows me to sprout wings and a horn when I need to." explained Sunny.

"That's the first time I'm hearing this, because usually when a pony becomes an alicorn, they always have their wings and horns not to mention seeing an earth pony becoming an alicorn." stated Megan.

Sunny then said, "Now that you know about this, I would like you to come back to Equestria with me to see my friends and what has changed in Equestria."

Megan replied, "Alright, I will go with, but it's mainly because I'm very curious in seeing how much Equestria has changed after I was there last time when Twilight brought me back there."

Sunny once again sprouted out her wings and horn and flew Megan across the Rainbow Bridge into Equestria as she landed and met the rest of the Mane 5.

Izzy looked at her and said, "Hello Megan Williams!"

Pip then stated, "You have to take a selfie with me so that I can show my Pipsqueaks on Ponygram!"

Zipp mentioned, "What's up Megan?"

Hitch noted, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Megan Williams."

She then noticed a little dragon and asked, "What is the name of this dragon?"

Sunny answered, "His name is Sparky Sparkeroni, but you can just call him Sparky."

Still feeling curious, Megan asked another question about Sparky, "How exactly did you end up with this dragon?"

Hitch stated, "I originally found him by the shores of Maretime Bay and I accidently used my earth pony magic to hatch that egg, and that's how we wound up with him."

After explaining about Sparky, Sunny changed the subject and said, "We would like to know about you Megan why you were someone important to ponies' of earlier generations."

Megan mentioned, "When I first came to what was originally Pony Land, it was originally by accident."

Sunny then interrupted Megan and asked, "What exactly do you mean by accident?"

Megan then explained as she continued her story, "The reason I came to this world in the first place was because of a pegasus named Firefly who I got out of a well and then took me back with her to help save her friends over at Midnight Castle to stop Tirac from trying to achieve eternal darkness with a special power known as the Rainbow of Darkness, which also had the power to transform who he wanted especially certain ponies he needed to carry his chariot as dragons."

Sunny then got a little more curious and asked Megan a few more questions and other statements, "By what you're saying is that you were with ponies even earlier the ones you were with not that long ago.  What I don't understand is why you got the titles you have.  More importantly, how did you even end up meeting ponies more recently after being gone for such a long time?  Also, what more can you tell me about your relationship with Twilight?"

Megan then answered, "Twilight and her friends otherwise known as the Mane 6 weren't the first group of ponies that I have encountered when originally coming here, but rather their descendants.  It was sort of their destiny to find me and help me build bridges between the past and present.  Until Twilight came up to me, I thought my time being here was over and everything I did was fulfilled.  Nonetheless, she brought me back here and helped reintroduce to me Equestria as well as making sure that the ponies will know I am along with helping me fit in to what has changed.  More importantly, she even knighted me along with my siblings Danny and Molly and even allowed to keep those said titles."

After hearing all of that Sunny mentioned, "That is very interesting to hear about you."

Megan then noticed Pipp shouting at her phone and asked, "Is there something wrong with your phone?"

Pipp answered, "It's just that many of my Pipsqueaks don't seem to know who you are despite the fact that I showed them a picture of you and even stated who you are."

Megan stated, "Perhaps this is one of things that you can't do with social media, because sometimes you can't everyone to like everything just by looking on their phones or computers, and I know this from having a smartphone myself."

Hitch then thought, "Maybe we should take Megan into town and let the ponies of Maretime Bay see her in real life."

Zipp feeling a little cautious asked, "Do you really think this would be a good idea to let the ponies see a human like her especially when so many of them have never seen a creature like her before?"

Megan answered, "I don't see why this has to be a problem when the ponies of the past didn't seem to be afraid of me, so I don't see why these ponies can't meet me in person."

The Mane 5 then decided to take Megan into the rest of Maretime Bay to see what it was like.
