It was another day at Canterlot City as news of the Power Ponies have managed to defeat Threat Jet and saved Lyra Heartstrings spread but doing so prompted them to upgrade their gear to help with their crime fighting.
Then at Canterlot Bank, a man dressed in brown, with gauntlets on his arms entered the store and then fired a sonic blast, breaking open a wall, and scaring the people.
"Hand over the money!" The man demanded then a pink blur blindsided him.
"Hey, meanie, leave those poor people alone!" Fill-Second gave a raspberry while Saddle Rager and Radiance helped the people out of the store.
"Okay, varmit, who or what are you?" Marevelous asked.
"The name is Sound Breaker, Marevelous!" The man snapped.
"Sound Breaker? How'd you get the name?" Zapp inquired.
"This!"
Sound Breaker fired a sonic blast at them and sent them flying into a wall creating a hole.
"That'll hurt in the morning!" Fill-Second groaned.
"As much as I love to stay and play ladies, I got somewhere else to be," Sound Breaker said then used his gauntlets and vaulted out of the bank with the money but not before Zapp hit him with a tracer.
"Okay, now I get why he called him Sound Breaker," Marevelous said as she and Zapp got up. "And left like a donkey on steroids."
"Not to worry, I put a tracker on him, we can worry about him later, we got to class," Zapp said as they all left.
At a warehouse, Sound Breaker showed two figures with the money he grabbed.
"So how did it go?"
"The test run was a success, Tierk," Sound Breaker said. "You and Cozy Glow should see them in action."
"You didn't have any complications, did you?" Cozy Glow asked.
"No, not even the Power Ponies stood a chance."
"You took care of them?"
"Well, I knocked them cold for a while. By the time they recovered, I was long gone."
"Hmm, I need your services, again, Sound Breaker."
"Sure, what you got?"
"I need to you intercept a convey tonight. It's containing a massive supply of weapons that will be useful to my criminal empire."
"When is the convey showing up?"
"Tonight along this route, Cozy showed him."
Cozy shows him the route of the convoy.
"Think you can handle it?"
"Oh, I know I can," Sound Breaker said.
At Rainbow's House...
"What happened to you guys?" Sunset asked seeing most of the girls bang up.
"What happened, all of us, another villain popped up, stole the money, and gave our ears and a massive headache!" Rainbow said while laying down. "But I managed to put a tracker on him, so the next time he'll starts making trouble we'll know."
Then Rainbow's watch beeps.
"Well speak of the devil, it's him. Let's do this!"
Rainbow and the other girls got into their costumes and headed out leaving Sunset.
"Man, I wish I had superpowers," She sternly said.
...
In the city, Soundbreaker has successfully attacked weapons...
"This better be the right one," Soundbreaker hoped unaware that the Mane Five was looking on the rooftop.
"What is the varmint doing now?" Marevelous asked. "Are sure that's him?"
"Well the tracker leads to him, so yeah," Zapp replied. "And this time he's going down hard."
Soundbreaker uses a crowbar to open one of the crates showing dozens of weapons.
"Oh, yeah, now we're talking!"
Before he could grab one, a lightning bolt came right at him and sent him back.
"What the hell?" he exclaimed, then saw Zapp and the others.
"What the heck is up with you? You went from stealing money to weapons?" Fill-Second joked.
Soundbreaker growled and fired a sonic blast at them but missed as they dodged.
"This time I won't hold back!"
Sound Breaker rapid-fire multiple sonic blasts at the girls, but they dodge them all. then Fill-Second got close enough with her super-speed and gave him a quick punch to wit, he shot a part of the building.
"My stars!" Radiance gasped and then created a pink dome that prevent the debris from crushing the people. "I suggest you move, quickly, I can only hold for so long!"
The people quickly got out quickly just as Soundbreaker got in a van and took off.
"He's not getting off that easily!" Fill-Second said then took off.
"Finally, I lost those bozos," Sound Breaker said.
Fill-Second jumped high in the air and landed on the roof.
"Huh... must've been hearing things."
But he was wrong as Fill-Second got on the van side, and stop herself making the van stop to halt then grab Sound Breaker out of the van and tossed him on the street.
"You! How did you find me?!"
"A little bug told me on your foot."
Sound Breaker lifted his left foot and saw the tracker that Zapp had planted on him.
"Clever, Fill-Second, I'll admit," Sound Breaker said as he destroy it. "Now let's see how you-"
Before he had the chance to do anything, Sound Breaker got blasted from behind and quickly fell to the ground.
"How's that for unexpected?" Zapp asked as she and the rest of the girls showed up.
"Nice, 9/10 for dramatic timing, " Fill-Second did a thumbs-up.
Much later the cops arrived to see Sound Breaker knocked out cold...
"Once again those Power Ponies have stopped him," An officer said.
"Man, we're in for a lot of paperwork for this guy," Another said.
As Sound Breaker got loaded into the truck, unknown to anyone a small robot camera was hovering over them,
"Damn it! Sound Breaker has failed!" Tirek growled.
"Guess those girls are more resourceful than I thought," Cozy mumbled. "But it does give me an idea?"
"What do you mean?" Tirek asked.
"Well, I been thinking, what if there more freaks like Sound Breaker and Threat Jet running around, The five could easily be distracted by them while our thugs handle the normal robberies."
"That could work in the long run, but sooner or later we will have to find a way to kill them all," Tirek said.
"Understand," Cozy nodded. "I'll find a way to create new distractions for them."
