"Actually, why don't we use a mix of all three decorations?" Said Rainbow Dash.
"That's actually a brilliant idea!" Replied Doctor Atmosphere.
"I told ya that's a good idea!." Replied Glaze, out of nowhere.
"Anyways, let's start setting all the decorations up!" Said Rainbow Dash, enthusiastically.
"Alright!"
The three began putting up the banners and red LED lights on the walls in each room of the factory, alongside the Rainbow Dash cardboard cutouts against the walls. Slowly, the rooms started to slightly change with the feel of it as more and more decorations were added. Eventually after a good thirty minutes, the three finished putting the banners up in all the rooms.
"Yeah! That looks really AMAZING!" Said a enthusiastic Rainbow Dash, as she looked up at the banners in the work room.
"Oh my Celestia, it really does!." Replied Doctor Atmosphere.
"Yeah! It does look amazing! Wait no. PERFECT!" Replied Glaze as well.
"Imagine if I had ended up putting only one kind of decorations in the factory!" Said Rainbow Dash, laughing at the thought.
"That would have probably not been as amazing honestly!" Replied Doctor Atmosphere.
By now, all the worker Pegasi in the work room have noticed all the decorations in the room. All of them agreed that it looks perfect. Even the caged failures in the prison corridor noticed the decorations. Even the two caged failures that were sent in the Pegasus Device room.
"So, now, time to place the food and snacks, and then we will be all ready! We still have the food and snacks Atmosphere, right? Right..?" Said Rainbow Dash, slightly worried.
"About that... I checked our supplies for the snacks a few minutes ago when we finished putting the decorations up, and well... We're missing those as well..." Replied Doctor Atmosphere.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME ATMOSPHERE? What are we going to DO?" Said Rainbow Dash, in fear.
"It was clearly not my fault! Glaze is the one in charge of keeping the food for our Nightmare Nights!" Said Doctor Atmosphere, slightly angry at Rainbow Dash's accusation to him.
"Can the two of you just chill down a bit?" Said Glaze, who was the only calm one amongst the three of them.
"Glaze is right... Panicking won't get us anywhere... Sorry for going a bit crazy..." Said Rainbow Dash, in apology to Doctor Atmosphere.
"I guess I'm sorry too..." Said Doctor Atmosphere, in apology to Rainbow Dash.
"I'll go get my bits and go back to Ponyville to buy lots of Caramel Apples from Applejack..." Said Rainbow Dash, as she took off her labcoat to hang it up once again, and let out a stressed sigh before exiting the factory to head to her cloud house.
"I feel bad for our manager... She has to go through so much just for us..." Said Glaze.
"I guess I can understand how she must feel." Replied Doctor Atmosphere.
Rainbow Dash flew to her cloud house upon exiting the factory the second time this night. Once she got there, she went inside and headed upstairs to her bedroom and pulled out her personal bank she keeps her Bits in from under the nightstand. She took the lid off of it and took 300 Bits out before putting the lid back on it and sliding it under the nightstand before heading back out of her cloud house to fly back to Ponyville. As soon as she got back to Ponyville, she headed to Applejack's Caramel Apple stall, but upon arriving, realized she had finished selling out of them, much to her disappointment.
"Oh COME ON..." Said a disappointed and stressed Rainbow Dash.
"Rainbow Dash, what are you doing back here? I thought you were back at Cloudsdale, sugarcube!" Replied Applejack.
"Applejack, PLEASE TELL ME YOU STILL HAVE SOME CARAMEL APPLES!!" Responded Rainbow Dash, who was nervous.
"Sorry Dash, I ran out of them faster than a Timberwolf! Sorry about that sugarcube..." Replied Applejack.
"Ugh... What am I going to tell them..." Said Rainbow Dash, with defeat in her voice.
"Eh, tell who?" Replied a confused Applejack.
"The Pegasi I'm helping with Nightmare Night back in the Weather Factory, you remember?" Responded Rainbow Dash.
"Oh right!" Replied Applejack.
"Ugh... I guess I have to come back to them empty handed..." Said a sad Rainbow Dash, as she started slowly flying back to the factory.
"Hey, don't you worry Dash. On the bright side, there will be lots of apples in Sweet Apple Acres for the next Cider season, which I know you love as much as I love all of ya!" Replied Applejack, knowing that would perk her up.
"That's good to know at least..." Responded Rainbow Dash, before flying off back to the factory.
As she flew back to the factory, she couldn't help but continue to feel defeated and depressed. This years Nightmare Night would be surely ruined for the factory, right? Maybe even bad enough that they would decide to never do it ever again from how bad this year's one was... As she approached the factory, she couldn't help but take a big gulp, as she was nervous when re-entering the factory, not knowing what she was going to tell them.
Once she got back inside the factory, she walked over to the work room, expecting the worst.
"I'm... back..." Said Rainbow Dash, before falling down muzzle first onto the steel flooring of the work room.
"Rainbow Dash." Said Doctor Atmosphere, with a stern voice.
"Yes....." Replied Rainbow Dash, with no emotion in her voice. None except defeat.
"Guess what? We got lucky! Glaze checked the supplies room again, and found a barrel that was out of sight at first before, containing all the food and snacks we originally planned for this year's Nightmare Night! With the caramel apples you got, we will have a LOT of snacks and food! Chips! Candy bars! And even more!!" Responded a ecstatic Doctor Atmosphere, until he finally read her emotions.
"W-whats wrong? I just noticed now that you clearly aren't in the best of moods.." Said a confused Doctor Atmosphere.
"W-WAIT? There actually is still the snacks and food?! This is a MIRACLE!" Said a happy Rainbow Dash, as she jumped up from the floor in happiness and relief.
"What had happened when you went back to Ponyville?" Replied Doctor Atmosphere, out of curiosity.
"Applejack had sold out of her caramel apples, and I felt so defeated. I really felt like this year's Nightmare Night would be ruined for us. Ruined so bad even that we wouldn't have another one in the future years to come... But it's fortunately a good thing that we still have the food and snacks!" Said Rainbow Dash.
"It really is! I can't imagine if we didn't have any..." Replied Doctor Atmosphere.
"Well, what are you two waiting for? Lets go get it out for everypony in the factory!" Replied Glaze to the two of them.
The three of them went back in the supplies room to get the food and snacks out, and some folding tables as well to put the food and snacks on. Once they got back in the work room with the tables in Rainbow Dash's hooves, and the food and snacks in the hooves of Doctor Atmosphere and Glaze, they set it all down and began the final preparations. Once it was all done, the workers were in awe. folding tables set across the entire work room, filled with food and snacks at the disposal on it. The three knew they did a good job, despite Rainbow Dash's poor choice of decorations. It made up for that, since the workers were enjoying their selves.
"Welp, we all did a good job! This will go down as yet another amazing Nightmare Night inside the factory!" Said Doctor Atmosphere, with a grin.
"Yeah! This is honestly still amazing!" Replied Glaze.
"Hey.. Rainbow Dash, what's the matter?" Said Doctor Atmosphere, while facing Rainbow Dash.
"Yeah, you still seem a bit.. Down, if you know what I mean." Said Glaze.
"You have no reason to be down Rainbow Dash. Everything worked out well in the end! This was a team effort like usual that you helped tremendously with!" Said Doctor Atmosphere.
"I guess you're both right the two of you. I just was worried.. I would end up ruining it for you and all the entire factory... But at least it worked out in the end, right?" Said Rainbow Dash, as she slowly regained her composure.
"What are you all waiting for! Lets get this Nightmare Night STARTED IN THE FACTORY!!" Said Glaze, in excitement.
"Rainbow Dash, you still up for it?" Said Doctor Atmosphere, to Rainbow Dash.
"Hell yeah! Of course I'm still up for a amazing night filled with beloved spooks, and snacks! You know I love me some grub to stuff my face with after all! Hehe!" Replied Rainbow Dash, as she was clearly happy again.
The three of them continued hosting what would go down as the best Nightmare Night of all time in the factory. They would still do the same thing each year without it growing old or boring for them, as it was a amazing holiday that brings out all the spooky things that Ponies love in Equestria. For the factory however, it couldn't be any more perfect this perfect holiday for them.
