Spike, was currently leaving the school building after the day ended, as he was leaving, he saw the girls talking with each other, but decided he didn't want to bother them.
As Spike walked away from the school, he was seen by Sunset Shimmer.
"Spike?" Sunset said
Spike turned and saw Sunset Shimmer approaching him, he only gave a look of surprise and asked
"What's the matter?"
"Well, it's just that me and the girls are going to hang out at the Canterlot Mall. We were wondering if you wanna come."
Spike gave a look of hesitance and while sweating a bit anxiously, said
"Sure thing Sunset." Spike said
"Great! Come on." Sunset said and lead Spike to the other girls.
"Hey girls." Sunset said
The girls noticed Spike and Sunset approaching and gave smiles.
"Hey you two, what happened?" Sci-Twi asked.
"Well, I was just heading out and then Sunset saw me and well here we are." Spike answered
As Sunset was about to talk, Fluttershy screamed
"Fluttershy? What's wrong?!" Rainbow Dash said.
The shy teen pointed at Spike and said in fear "His...arm."
The girls and Spike looked and saw his arm and were shocked at the sight.
As Spike followed Sunset, he felt something on his arm, he looked and saw some black like ink flowing through his arm and it was beginning to form into a dragon head with green eyes on his left arm. Spike only gave a look and saw the ink disappear as the dragon head finished forming. But then different colors began to form around it's head
"What the heck?" Spike said in surprise.
"How are you doing that?" Applejack asked
"I don't know!" Spike said honestly
As the girls looked, the tattoo glowed and then then the symbols from their geodes had appeared around it's head. After a few seconds, the ink was gone, and the girls and Spike were left speechless.
"What, what's going on?" Spike asked in fright
Sunset Shimmer, with a look of hesitance, touched Spike and her eyes glowed white.
(In Spike's mind)
Sunset was in a dark void again, but this time Spike was there too, in human form.
"Spike, what's going on?!" Sunset said confused
"Allow me to answer that question. " A deep, demonic and menacing voice said
The two turned around and saw a tall, large and menacing dragon in front of them.
"WHAT. IS. THAT?!" Sunset said in shock.
"I am the Amulet in dragon form protecting his thoughts. Sunset Shimmer. "
"You know my name?!" Sunset asked
"And your friends. Both here and in Equestria." The large demon dragon said
"Who are you?" Spike asked
"I am the spirit from the amulet that protects your mind from mental or physical trauma or attacks like right now. After you defeated your alternate self in your dimension, the Elements that purified the amulet's influence created me. To guard you in case your power needs to be protected from your consciousness. " The dragon replied
"What's your name?" Spike asked
"I have been given many names. But I will let you choose since your amulet and the Element's purity created me. "
Spike and Sunset only looked at each other, thinking about what to say for the dragon's name.
"How about....Venom?" Sunset asked
"Venom. I like it. "
Spike and Sunset nodded with smiles and Sunset asked "Why was Spike forming a tattoo on his arm with a dragon head?"
"That was me. The reason I created that tattoo is because now that the Elements of Harmony purified the Amulet's influence and corruption from Spike and me, I have created a telepathic link to myself and Spike to read minds or communicate. That allows us to see if any of the corruption is left. The Elements also removed the possible evil in Spike's heart and purified and restored him to normal. " The dragon now known as Venom said.
"And why did it have the symbol's of the geodes on it?" Spike asked
"I felt that now that you want to be a hero like you said before, I put the Elements of Harmony around it to represent your newfound potential. In fact, when you went to the Tree of Harmony in Equestria, some of the power you used to remove the evil in your heart from the amulet created the Elements symbols. For Sunset Shimmer's symbol, I do not know. but I feel it has to do with her friendship with you."
Spike and Sunset were left bewildered, until the area began shaking.
"What's happening?!" Spike asked,
The telepathic block most be removing Sunset. " Venom said
As he said this, Sunset and Spike were engulfed in black.
(Back in the real world)
Sunset Shimmer backed away with a look of shock while Spike only looked at her equally as surprised. The girls noticed their looks and went over to them.
"Sunset? What happened?" Rainbow Dash asked
"Well, I figured out the tattoo issue. Spike has a guardian dragon in his mind that can talk to him mentally and made the tattoo on his arm. After that, he didn't say anything about my geode aside from our friendship."
"Anything else?" Applejack asked
"Well, there is one thing I need to tell you all. I know Sunset saw but it's best I say it anyway to let it out. But can we talk less....public?" Spike said
The girls looked at him, and began to head to the school, the halls were empty and they reached an empty classroom.
"So, what to do you need to tell us?" Sci-Twi asked
"Well, you know that guy in armor that saved you?" Spike asked
The girls nodded and Spike, with a deep breath, readied himself and said "That was me."
"Huh?!" All the Rainbooms said
"How?" Sunset Shimmer asked
"I honestly don't know. But I guess it has to do with the amulet." Spike said
As the girls looked, they decided to leave the school building and head to the mall. As they walked, Applejack asked
"There is one thing ah don't get."
"What is it Applejack?" Sunset asked
"When Spike saved us from that creature, how did he even touch and hurt it when we couldn't?"
Spike only gave a look of confusion also and said "I honestly don't know either. I mean I'm using Equestrian magic like you girls, only from an artifact fused into my body."
"It may be because the more you wield it, the more power you gain." Sunset theorized
"And the more power I gain, the more magic I can use. Like what my dark self told me." Spike said also.
This left the girls a bit scared at this statement, but Spike said "Girls, I know you don't trust me, but please. If I do ever turn evil. Stop me by any means possible."
The request Spike asked left them a bit speechless at such a thing, but seeing the pleading in his eyes. Sunset only nodded and said
"Ok Spike."
She turned to the other girls, who while reluctant and showed fearful looks, each complied with a nod also before they resumed heading into the mall.
(Unknown Location)
In an unknown forest, a dark green portal had opened and out came a unknown teen boy. He had a dark green shirt, dark green pants and dark purple shoes with dark green flames. His hair was more dark green and black while his eyes were light green and had dark purple skin.
"So...looks like I'm in the mirror world."
He only looked around and said again
"I should find him first. But I'll need some help......and I think I know who to start with."
He then teleported away in a dark green shadowy flame, leaving no trace behind.
