The new day had just dawned in for Equestria as much of the ponies including Megan Williams were getting ready for the coronation for Twilight Sparkle to become its new ruler as they were heading over to Canterlot Castle to make the preparations for that said event.
Twilight mentioned to each of the ponies, "We need to make the grand hall look nice and neat for this big day!"
Unfortunately, the rest of the Mane 6 got very confused when hearing her directions.
"Where do you want me to place the balloons and streamers?" asked Pinkie Pie.
"Just put them somewhere where they aren't obstructing anything important." replied Twilight.
Rarity then mentioned, "I need to know where to place the tables and other possible furniture that we need."
Twilight pointed out, "Just place them in the dining hall with all the rest."
Megan then looked at Twilight and said, "Maybe you need to calm down a little bit."
Twilight then stated, "This is a very important day for me, and I would like it to go perfectly."
Both Princesses Celestia and Luna then came into the room to weigh in how Twilight was handling things.
"I have to agree with Megan here. This is just a coronation. You shouldn't be taking this too seriously." said Celestia.
"I'm sure you had to make your coronation special as well when that was the case for you." replied Twilight.
Luna added, "Twilight, I know you will become a good ruler as we talked about it when I entered your dream last night."
Twilight claimed, "The most you had to with sit beside your sister as there was hardly any pressure for you as long as you weren't Nightmare Moon."
Danny and Molly Williams then started to enter the castle as they were happy to see Megan as well as look at what was going on throughout the castle.
Danny first approached Megan and asked, "How did the slumber party go last night, Megan?"
Megan answered, "It went alright."
Molly asked Twilight, "Would you like us to pet you to help calm you down?"
Twilight then answered, "That would be very nice."
The three then hugged and petted Twilight as she felt less tense after feeling each of their fingers, stroke across her fur and mane as then Danny and Molly went around to pet the rest of the Mane 6 along with the Royal Sisters to introduce themselves.
"I will admit that I appreciated that petting, but that doesn't change how important this coronation has to be." mentioned Twilight.
"Exactly how important does this coronation has to be?" asked Megan.
Twilight answered, "I just want this coronation to be a memorable one."
Celestia then started to mention. "Maybe you should think more about the coronation itself and less about how to celebrate it."
Twilight stated, "Ages from now historians will be looking back at this event, so making it notable will make them see it in a positive way as a negative view could forever come back to haunt me on this."
Luna then noted, "Don't worry about how others will look at this Twilight. Whatever they say is just their own interpretation. I'm sure that there will be those who won't take everything they say seriously. As long as you feel that you did well, that's all that should matter. More importantly, if you keep letting the negative statements get to you, it would be very had to think of anything positive, and I know that from my own experience from being Nightmare Moon, who you know was a viscous monster that even tried to kill her own sister."
Twilight explained, "I just want this event to go in a good way. Is that really too much to ask for? I'm sure that any of you would have done the same if you were in the same situation as I would be in right now."
Celestia added in, "Even my coronation didn't involve a lot, plus you need to understand that even I wasn't so perfect when I ruled over Equestria, but I didn't let that bother me nonetheless."
Luna then stated, "Although I will most likely never get over the fact, I spent time as a viscous monster that makes me feel bad, I learned to move on from that. I will admit that after Megan helped me better about that, it was as if a burden I had was finally lifted. What was really significant about that her convincing me to make that announcement and making such apologies for what I did actually made me feel better rather than worse especially with friends and even family there to help back me up on that."
Megan started to mention, "Even back in my world such rulers and other politicians are getting criticized. It's a very common thing that occurs to them at all levels. Even celebrities face a similar level of that. However, they don't always let that get to them. A good number of times, those who write such some stuff, are just looking to get their fifteen minutes by stating those stuff especially if they are part of a tabloid or trying to make some online video. In other words, some will just say anything just to get attention no matter what it is or even if it's found to be false at times."
Even the rest of the Mane 6 started to weigh in how they viewed Twilight taking this event.
Rainbow Dash stated, "Everything will be alright Twilight."
Applejack claimed, "Megan is right and you should just worry about what you can do."
Rarity explained, "You're starting to remind me of myself when I had to get ready for such big events, Darling."
Pinkie Pie mentioned, "I think it will all go well if just looked at all the good things about it."
Fluttershy said, "You're starting to scare me sound this way."
After hearing all of that, Twilight said, "Maybe all of you are right about this and I have been taking this too seriously, and perhaps we should take a little break from this."
Megan then pulled out her phone and opened up playlist finding some music for the ponies to listen to help get them in the mood. Although the rest of the Mane 6 and Royal Sisters were happy with what songs she found for them to like, Twilight couldn't understand anything about it. However, that didn't stop Megan from finding a song that would get Twilight in the mood.
"I'm sure that there is a song here you will like Twilight." said Megan.
"For the most part, I don't even understand half of these songs." replied Twilight.
After going through her playlist, she finally found a song that even Twilight would enjoy.
"Perhaps you would like this song, You Raised Me Up by Josh Groban." mentioned Megan.
"I will admit that I do like that voice." replied Twilight.
"I'm glad that I'm here to help you, and maybe I should go outside for some air." stated Megan.
"Just be careful and try not to go too far." mentioned Twilight.
Megan then asked, "Why's that?"
Twilight answered, "Besides dreaming about feeling worried about this coronation, I also had a feeling that something else might come and ruin this day, but I can't figure out what it is right now."
Megan noted, "Hopefully, this was just some dream you had and nothing real."
Megan then went outside to take a little walk to get some things off of her chest.
