Rarity was scared as she trotted through the now pitch black school. She had to have been in a far corner of the school, as she could at one point hear the duels of the others, but now she could not. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. She peaks her head into a few classrooms, looking for any sign of the Shadow Riders. She peeks into her own classroom, she can see the mannequin. She was about to pull her head back out, when she swore that the mannequin's head slightly moved to look at her. She quickly looks back at it, her eyes the size of dinner plates. Slowly she steps in and approaches it. She could feel her heart beating faster and faster. As she gets only a few feet away, the large door behind her slams shut loudly, causing her to jump and scream. She turns behind her to see the closed door, she looks back and can now see that the Mannequin has been completely turned and is now facing Rarity. She steps back a few feet, now terrified. Miraculously, the Mannequin begins to walk towards her, Rarity backs up more and presses her back against the door.

"B-Back you! GET BACK!" Rarity says in fear. Slowly a chuckle is heard coming from the Mannequin, it steps into the light coming in from the window on the door to reveal it was not a mannequin, but a Shadow Rider.
"You are a screamer aren't you? hehe, I like that." Said the Shadow.
"Get back you! You monster!" Shouted Rarity.
"Call me, Macabre." Said the Shadow as he slowly opened his wings to reveal he was a pegasus, but strangely, his wings were not made of feathers, but of skin and membrane. He then smirks at her, the glint of fangs can be seen from his mouth. Rarity gasps widely upon realizing what he is.
"You're...a bat pony?" Rarity squeaks. Macabre only chuckles as a response. Rarity begins to have a panic as Macabre got closer, and closer. He takes one step too close and rarity shields her head with her hooves. That's when her duel disks glows and before Macabre's eyes, Rarity's card, Master Diamond Manifests himself and stands guard in front of Rarity. He points his sword at Macabre, which actually causes him to take a few steps back and hisses.
"M-Master Diamond?" Rarity says slowly, un-shielding herself.

Master Diamond says nothing and stands his ground, he was not transparent and took a physical form. Showing no sign of backing down.
"Hmm, If I can't get close to you because of your monster, then I'll go through him!" Shouted Macabre as the Shadows formed his duel disk. Rarity looks back up at Master Diamond, who still hasn't backed down. She takes a deep breath, and acts upon this opportunity given to her by her protector.
"Thank you so much Darling. I can handle it from here, if I need you again I will summon you." Said Rarity. master Diamond finally stands down and kneels. Slowly he de-manifests back into Rarity's deck. She then Glares at Macabre and activates her duel disk.

"DUEL!"

[Rarity vs. Macabre]

"I will go first you ruffian! I draw!" Said Rarity. "I summon Gem-Knight Alexandrite! {1800atk. 1200def. Lv4.} Now I activate his effect! I can tribute him to special summon one normal Gem-Knight monster from my deck, I special summon Gem-Knight Crystal! {2450atk. 1950def Lv7.} I will set one card face down and I end!"
"My move, Draw." Said Macabre. "I activate the field spell Vampire Kingdom!" The classroom melts away and soon, they are on a sidewalk in the dead of night. The moon shone a crimson red and a castle rose in the distance behind Macabre. "Hehehe, Welcome to your doom Element! This gives all my Zombies 500 attack points during battle calculation, and everytime you send a card from your deck to your grave,once that turn I can destroy any card on your field by sending any dark 'Vampire' from my hoof or deck to the grave. Now I summon Blood Sucker! {1300 +500atk. 1500def. Lv4}. I now place two cards face down and end."
"My turn, I draw!" Said Rarity. "I now summon to the field Gem-Knight Amber! {1600atk. 1400def. Lv4 Gemini}. Once crystal destroys your monster, Amber will go in for a direct attack!" Crystal unsheathed his sword and charges Macabre's monster.
"I think not! I activate my first face down, the quick play spell Block attack! This forces your monster into a defensive position."
"A mild set back." Said Rarity.
"Heh, It's much worse than you can imagine actually, because now I can activate my second face down, Tragedy. When your monster is forced into a defensive position, Your monster is destroyed!" Crystal groans before he is destroyed.
"Gah! F-fine! I place one more card face down and I end!" Said Rarity.

[Rarity 3 card/ Macabre 2 cards]

"My turn, I draw." Said Macabre. "Now my Blood Sucker will attack your Knight!" Blood Sucker screeches before running directly at Gem-Knight Amber. It wraps the knight in a bear hug and then bites it on the neck. The knight groans in pain as  Blood sucker keeps biting. Eventually he is destroyed and Blood Sucker returns to his side of the field.``Now Blood Sucker's effect kicks in! You send the top card of your deck to the graveyard." Rarity begrudgingly sends a card to the grave. When she does this, The blood moon shines brighter and Macabre chuckles to himself. "Now Vampire kingdom kicks in. I target your face down on the left. Now I send the Vampire Grimson from my deck to the grave and your face down is destroyed." Rarity shields her face from the destruction of her face down. She then glares at Macabre who continues to chuckle at her. "I now end by Placing one card face down."
"My move, I draw!" Said Rarity. "Lucky for me, You destroyed the wrong card! I activate my face down Pyroxene Fusion! I send Gem-Knight Iolite and Hyozanryu from my hoof to the grave to summon Gem-Knight Seraphinite! {2300atk. 1400def. Lv5 Fusion.} Now I activate the last card in my hoof, Brilliant Fusion! I send both Gem-Knight Garnet and Sapphire from my deck to the grave to fusion summon Gem-Knight Aquamarine in defense position! {1400atk. 2600def. Lv6 Fusion.}" When Aquamarine is summoned, the blood moon shines again and Macabre chuckles.
"Too bad, Element, you sent cards from your deck to the grave. Now once this turn, I can destroy one of your cards. I send Vampire Baby from my deck to the grave and I destroy your Aquamarine!" said Macabre. Aquamarine explodes and is sent to the grave, Rarity actually smirks.
"Thank you darling, now I can activate Aquamarine's effect." Said Rarity.
"Aquamarine has a graveyard effect?" Asked Macabre.
"Oh yes darling. When Aquamarine is sent from the field to the grave, I send one card on the field back to your hoof, your Blood Sucker has overstayed his welcome!" Said Rarity. Macabre is shocked by this as his monster dissipates from the field. "Now Seraphinite! Attack him directly!" Seraph wields his Rapier and dashes towards Macabre. He thrusts his sword into Macabre who lets out a pained yell and then drops to his knees.

Macabre slowly stands up, he raises his head and his eyes begin to glow a bright red. He fixes his coat to where it now functions as a cape and spreads his wings wide. He then growls at Rarity as his face slowly morphs. His jaw unhinges like a snake and his fangs grow large, his tongue slithers out of his mouth twice the length of a normal tongue and he hisses loudly at Rarity. Rarity takes a few steps back as Macabre became more threatening.
"You! I will drain you of your blood for that!" Yelled Macabre.``I draw, now I activate my face down, Vampire Takeover! Since I already have my Vampire Kingdom on the field, that effect is ignored, but the second effect allows me to special summon one vampire from my grave in defense, I summon Vampire Baby! {700 +500atk. 1000def. Lv3} I will now use it as a Tribute to summon the Shadow Vampire! {2000 +500 0def. Lv5} Now I activate his effect, when successfully normal summoned, I can special summon another Dark Vampire Monster, I choose the Vampire Lord! {2000 +500atk. 1500def. Lv5} Vampire Lord is the only monster who can attack because of the effect of Shadow Vampire! Go Vampire Lord! Feast on their blood!" Vampire Lord licks his lips before revealing his fangs. His jaw unhinges as well and the fangs grow. He latches onto Seraphinite and bites him on the neck. He groans for a while and Vampire lord returns to his spot. "Your monster is spared because the attack boost is for battle calculation only. Now I enter main phase 2 and I build the Overlay network. By laying my two vampires onto each other, I Xyz summon Crimson Knight Vampire Bram! {2500 +500atk. 0def. Lv5 Xyz} Bram takes the field and stands tall, he points his sword at Seraphinite and smirks wide, showing his fangs. "I now End my turn!"

[Rarity 3600/ Macabre 1700]

[Rarity 0 cards/ Macabre 1 card]

"I draw..." Said Rarity. She look at the card and then hangs her head. "...I set one card and end my turn..."
"MUHAHAHA! You have nothing! Your expression says it all! I draw!" Said Macabre. "Now, since you foolishly left your monster in attack mode, I will destroy you! Bram, Destroy her Knight!" Bram wields his sword and swings it Seraphinite. Seraphinite tries using his sword to block, but it shatters on impact and is sliced in half and destroyed. Rarity Winces from the pain. "Now I activate Bram's Xyz effect. by removing one Xyz material from him, I take control of one of the monsters in your graveyard! I bring back your Seraphinite!"
"Wh-what!? No, You can't!" Pleaded Rarity, but slowly on Macabre's side of the field, Seraphinite is summoned and he has red eyes.
"Too late! He is mine now! Seraphinite, attack her directly!" Seraphinite had no choice but to attack Rarity. He lifts his Rapier and stabs her in the side causing her to scream and fall to the floor. "Yes... Yes!... YES! Scream in agony Element! I love seeing you in pain! Hahaha! I end!" Said Macabre.

[Rarity 600/ Macabre 1700]

Rarity stayed on the ground for a bit. Her body ached and her vision was blurred. She had to try and get up, or her soul was forfeit. She struggles to get up and finally is able to make it to her hooves. "D...Draw!" Said Rarity. "I activate pot of greed to draw two cards... Now I activate my face down. Necro Fusion! By banishing monsters from my grave, I can fusion summon a monster. I banish Gem-Knight Alexandrite, Crystal, and Iolite from my grave to fusion summon Gem-Knight Master Diamond! {2900atk. 2500def. Lv9 Fusion." Master Diamond is summoned and takes the same battle stance as before, the blood moonlight glistens off of his armor. "He gains 100 attack for every gem-Knight in my grave. I still have Amber, Garnet, Sapphire, and Aquamarine in my grave, so he is at 3300! I'm not done, now  I activate the spell Double attack! I discard Gem-Knight Lapis and Master Diamond can attack twice! Diamond, attack Bram!" Diamond lifts his massive sword over his head. Bram panics and tries to block it with his shield, but when Master Diamond brings down his Sword, it goes through the shield like Butter and easily crushes Bram. Macabre Groans and stumbles. "Now Diamond, Puts Seraphinite out of his misery!" Diamond does a small spin and swings the huge sword and cuts Seraphinite in half. Macabre groans louder and almost falls over.

[Rarity no cards/ Macabre 2 cards]

[Rarity 600/ Macabre 200]

"I will not back down, Ruffian! You can't keep me down! I will win, and we will stop the shadows." Said Rarity. Expecting Macabre to be angry, she was shocked to hear him start chuckling. He slowly looks at her and smirks.
"This is the beginning of the end, Element. I draw." Before Rarity's eyes, Bram reappears on the field in a defensive position.
"What!? but I just destroyed him!" Said Rarity.
"Yes, but Bram has a second effect, whenever he is destroyed by you, the next standby phase he is summoned in defense position. Now, I activate the spell Graceful Charity, I draw 3 cards as long as I discard two. Now I summon Castle of Dark Illusions. {920atk. 1930def. Lv4} now I activate Monster Reborn! I summon to the field a Monster I just discarded, Patrician of Darkness! {2000atk. 1400def. Lv5}. Now I end.
"Fool! You are a fool! I draw." Said Rarity. "Master Diamond, attack his Castle and end him!"
"Diamond, attack Bram!" Shouted Macabre. Miraculously, Diamond attacks Bram instead of the Castle.
"WHAT!? How did you do that!?" Shouted Rarity.
"Patrician of Darkness allows me to choose who you attack, and I made him attack Bram." Said Macabre
"That's...., hmph! Never mind, I end."
"Draw." Said Macabre as Bram returned in defense once again. "Now my castle kicks in, all zombies gain 200 attack for each of my standby phases. So Bram's overall attack is now 3200. I now end."
"Got to get rid of that! I draw!" Said Rarity. "I have nothing useful yet, and attacking is useless, So, I end."
"Imbecil." said Macabre as he drew. "Now that's an extra 200, now Bram is at 3400, He is the same as your diamond. They will both be destroyed and leave you wide open!"
"You can't psych me out! Bram has 2900, but the extra 500 is for damage calculation only! Nothing will happen!" Said Rarity.
"Heh, you're smarter than you look. I place one card face down and activate the spell Called by the Grave! I banish one card from your graveyard, I banish your Garnet, so now Master Diamond is down to 3300! I switch Bram to attack and he will attack your Diamond!" Bram stands up and swings his sword at Diamond, who blocks it with ease with his sword, but damage is still done to Rarity. "I enter main phase 2 to activate Dian Keto the Cure Master to gain 1000 live points, then I set one card. Now I end."

[Rarity 500/ Macabre 1200]

[Rarity 2 cards/ Macabre 1 cards]

"I draw" said Rarity. "Ok, if I cannot counter you just yet, then I will defend myself, I summon Gem-Turtle in defense mode. {0atk. 2000def. Lv4} Now I switch Master Diamond to defense and I will end after that.
"HAHAHAHA! You fell for it!" Yelled Macabre
"Fell for what?" Asked Rarity. 
"I activate my trap, Trap of Darkness! When I have life points lower than 3000, I pay 1000 life points and this card mimics a trap in my grave, I choose tragedy, now since you switched a monster into defense, ALL DEFENSE POSITION MONSTERS ARE DESTROYED!" Said Macabre
"NO! THIS CAN'T BE!" Yelled Rarity. Rarity watches in horror as first her turtle is destroyed and then Diamond groans. He looks back at her before he is destroyed as well.
"Now you are wide open. I drew for my turn and now Bram is at 3600, but it doesn't matter. You're defenseless. Bram, finish her." Said Macabre. Bram smirks and then swings his sword and hits Rarity. she Screams and is flung back and hits the door behind her with a loud thud.

[Rarity vs. Macabre: Winner Macabre]

Rarity kicks and Struggles as the Shadows wrap around her. She screams and tries to fight back, but it is no use. The Shadows enter her mouth and eyes, begining to take the soul from her. They take her soul and she collapses without a sound. Macabre smirks and approaches her.
"Another Element falls, they all should have known better than to defy us. Now, however, it is time to feed." Said Macabre licking his lips. He lifts up Rarity's body and moves her head to the side. His Jaw widens and he is moments from biting her neck when a large Shadow manifests behind him. He slowly turns around and notices it. He recognizes it as a communication spell. He rolls his eyes and drops Rarity so that he may see what the other Shadow Riders want.
