*Bass's POV*
Little did the others know, I had taken up residence within the two-tailed cat's game system since I wanted to get stronger so I could protect myself better.
*Twilight's POV*
I spoke "Okay Discord, we'll help you out."
Danyelle spoke "You can count the NetNavis in too since they're our friends."
Discord asks "Thank you so much. But just to keep track, who’s coming along?"
Danyelle spoke "Both branches of the Mobian Guard, the Mane Six, the Tokyo Five, Starlight Glimmer, Fizzlepop Berrytwist, Lillian and our NetNavis."
But then Breakfang showed up. “Wait! I’m coming too!”
Danyelle spoke "No Breakfang, you have your pups to look after."
Danyelle checks her 2DS before noticing a new icon.
Danyelle asks "Hey Lills, when did I get this icon?"
Lillian spoke "No idea."
Discord spoke "Actually, we might also need Breakfang’s help for this."
Kiba spoke "It would be wiser to have a male diamond dog help instead."
Danyelle asks "Got any ideas bro?"
Megaman spoke "No idea sis but I do know that you gained quite a powerful ally after that battle we had last night.... I kinda have to keep Trill and Junior safe though."
Breakfang spoke "Okay Kiba, I trust you."
Kiba spoke "I will come back, I promise."
Kiba and Breakfang looked at each other, before they kissed each other to seal that promise.
Shadow spoke "*ahem* We should get going."
Kiba spoke "Sorry, let’s go."
Kevin spoke "Right."
Discord snapped his fingers, finding ourselves at a building that had the symbol of four vertical lines slashed by a diagonal line from top left to bottom right. “I should warn you, some of them are a bit strange, creepy or familiar.”
Danyelle spoke "One of them has PTSD though... So I think Fluttershy and Maria should talk to that one..."
Discord spoke "Oh, that would be the apartment right next to this building."
We looked to our right and saw a small apartment.
Discord spoke "And besides, he’s a bear from Mobius. The real eighteen creatures are in THIS building."
Danyelle spoke "overcoming PTSD is never easy though..."
Shadow spoke "I can agree on that one."
Discord asks "Hmm… Would it be alright if Fluttershy and Maria went to that apartment while the rest of us go into this building?"
Maria was shaking.
Danyelle spoke "Are you nuts? Maria has PTSD as well, the sight of a gun will freak her out!"
Discord spoke "Listen, the guy is totally nice, kind, friendly and peaceful as long as nothing that sounds like war, including gunfire reaches his ears. So you won’t find any guns in that apartment."
Maria spoke "Shot in the back remember? I don't even want to be near a gun...."
Discord spoke "I can understand that. But I’m positive that you and Fluttershy will be able to help him."
Maria spoke "o-okay..."
Fluttershy spoke "G-good luck with the others Discord..."
Discord spoke "Thanks Fluttershy, because I think we’ll need it."
Maria and Fluttershy head off to Flippy's place.
The rest of us head into the building.
Megaman spoke "I got a bad feeling about these guys..."
Discord spoke "I don’t really blame you. When I looked into their pasts, there were plenty of things that I didn’t need to hear, thank you kindly."
Danyelle spoke "It's not funny Discord."
Discord spoke "Hey, I’m being serious here."
A new voice spoke "Klutzy draconequus."
Starlight snickers "I'm so remembering that for next time."
“Wait, who said that?” I asked.
Discord spoke "Oh, that would be a creature here that’s been turned into a Pegasus stallion that I call, ‘The Ghost Face.’"
We saw a strange Pegasus stallion wearing black clothes and a gaping white mask, and he was reading a newspaper.
Danyelle spoke "Good thing Zoey and Sakura aren't here... They're both scared of ghosts...."
Megaman spoke "I don't think it was him that said it..."
The voice spoke "No. I said that."
Megaman asks "Seriously, Bass?"
Danyelle asks "Why are you in my 2DS though Bass?"
Roll was wary of the loner.
Danyelle growls "I'll deal with you later Bass..."
Twilight spoke "That aside, we should figure out ways to calm these guys down and reform them."
Discord spoke "Well, other than a Ghost Face, we have a Trapper, a Wraith, a Hillbilly, a Nurse, a Doctor, a Huntress, a Spirit, a Legion of four ponies, an Oni, a pair of Twins, a Trickster, an Artist and an Onryo."
After seeing the black-clothed masked Pegasus stallion, we saw an earth pony stallion with a familiar bone mask, having hooks impaled through his shoulders, wielding a cleaver and some bear traps. Then we saw a unicorn stallion with white burn marks on him, holding a bell and a scythe, and after that, we saw an earth pony stallion holding a chainsaw and a hammer, whose face looked distorted like it was pulled taffy. Then we saw a floating female griffon holding a bonesaw, whose face had wrappings removed, and after that we saw a male dragon wearing a doctor's suit, holding a stick, having electricity buzz around him, and his face looked like it was pulled outward a bit, specifically the mouth and eyes, but still looking normal. Then we saw an earth pony mare wearing a familiar hare mask, wielding an axe and a few hatchets, and after that we saw a female changeling who's mane looked like it was flowing underwater, had mirror shards in her shoulders, and three of her legs were sliced clean through, but was still floated next to her body like they were still connected. Then we saw a group of four ponies having hoods over their heads and wearing masks, made up of a earth pony stallion, earth pony mare, a unicorn mare and a Pegasus stallion, after that we saw a male changeling wearing Japanese armor, having white flowing mane, wearing a red oni mask, and wielding a katana and kanabō. But the twins that Discord mention, they took us all by surprise by seeing them as conjoined diamond dog twins, with the bigger diamond dog being female and the smaller diamond dog poking out his head and right arm out of the female's right side of her chest being male, but then we saw the smaller twin crawl out of the bigger twin with the hole on the female closing up. After that, we saw a male lynx Mobian wearing a yellow jacket, having purple/blue hair and yellow eyes, wielding a bladed bat with a golden knuckle on the handle and some familiar luminescent throwing knives, then a female crow Mobian who had ink-black hair and eyes and the arms past the elbows down replaced with flowing ink. And finally, we saw an earth pony mare with her mane hanging over her eyes and wearing a white gown.
Danyelle spoke "Yeesh.... They all look scary..."
Kiba spoke "Okay, I did not expect all of this, especially seeing the Twins."
Discord spoke "Well, good thing is that I found out their identities."
Danyelle spoke "Eugh.... I need a bucket...."
Discord spoke Don’t worry, this place has plenty of those."
Discord gave Danyelle a bucket.
Sonic asks So you said that you figured out their names?"
Discord spoke "Yes."
Megaman asks "Those being?"
Discord spoke "The Trapper is Evan MacMillan, the Wraith is Philip Ojomo, the Hillbilly is Max Thompson Jr., the Nurse is Sally Smithson, the Doctor is Herman Carter, the Huntress is Anna, the Spirit is Rin Yamaoka, the Legion are Frank, Julie, Susie and Joey, the Ghost Face is Danny Johnson, the Oni is Kazan Yamaoka, the Twins are Charlotte and Victor Deshayes, the Trickster is Ji-Woon Hak, the Artist is Carmina Mora and the Onryo is Sadako Yamamura."
Megaman spoke "Oh jeeze..."
Sonic spoke "I'll deal with the trapper."
Danyelle asks "You sure Sonic?"
Sonic spoke "My speed's more than enough to outwit him."
Discord spoke "Fair warning, the Trapper can use bear traps. And I’m sure some of you have met him, the Huntress and the Trickster before."
Danyelle spoke "Stupid trapper hurt my Raiju."
Discord spoke "But still, I’m sure they can be reformed."
Starlight spoke "From one former villain to another, it's not going to be easy though..."
Discord spoke "And I’m seriously not doubting that."
Danyelle spoke "Plus I made a promise.... I have to keep Iris safe from a corrupt version of Rarity...."
Danyelle calls in Chameleo to help out.
Then Chameleo appeared. “Seriously? These guys? This is gonna unquestionably, undeniably, be the most deadliest and scariest reformation ever.”
Danyelle spoke "Yeah...."
Chameleo spoke "So who’s your pick? Because I think I’m gonna try to reform Ji-Woon, AKA The Trickster."
Danyelle spoke "My netnavis and I will handle the artist."
Discord spoke "Hmm… Out of all of the people here, the Artist has the most guilt-ridden past."
Shadow spoke "I'll help Danyelle with reforming that one since I know what it was like losing someone."
Discord spoke "Alright, but just keep an eye out for murders made of ink. And by murders, I mean groups of crows."
Toto was on Danyelle's shoulder as he cawed at Discord.
Danyelle spoke "Good thing Toto's part of the Ponyville branch of the Mobian Guard. He's able to talk to other birds."
So Danyelle, Shadow, Toto and the two NetNavis head to where the Artist was.
Knocking on the door, Danyelle asks "Hello?"
It was strange, the crow Mobian was in the room before, but now she wasn’t. Danyelle, Shadow, Toto and the NetNavis saw a strange ink painting of a strange tree. But then it looked like ink blots at random places started appearing on the painting. When they looked at it however, they found themselves at someplace entirely new.
Bass spoke "Okay, that is weird...."
But then they heard caws from crows, before looking up and seeing a giant crow monster made out of ink fly by before it dispersed into a murder of crows.
On instinct, Megaman shields his older sister.
Bass asks "What in the cyberworld was that?"
Danyelle spoke "That would be the Artist's pet crows...."
Toto caws frantically.
Shadow spoke "It looks like they're heading to that tower."
Danyelle spoke "be on high alert guys, who knows what she could do to us."
They started heading to the tower, and soon reached the entrance. But then they started noticing ink drops emerging from the ground and rising into the air.
Danyelle's ears were on full alert.
Danyelle spoke "Okay, now this is definitely making me put up all of my defenses."
They went inside the tower and found some stairs, walking them up, and finding the same tree that they saw in the painting. But when they looked up, they see hundreds of crows circling around the tree, before looking down and seeing the Artist in the middle of the tree.
Bass suddenly appears in the physical world since he was on full alert as well.
Danyelle spoke "It's got Toto on edge...."
Bass spoke "Either way, we should approach carefully...."
Danyelle spoke "Agreed..."
But then a crow flew in and landed on the Artist's right shoulder before cawing to her, causing her to turn around and face Danyelle, Shadow, Toto and the two NetNavis.
Toto caws.
The Artist bared her fangs inside her beak as her right hand transformed into a sharp palette blade, ready for battle. “Who are you?”
Danyelle spoke "I'm Alpha-Queen Danyelle Hikari, the black hedgehog is Shadow, the crow is Toto and the two cats are Megaman and Bass. We mean you no harm, we just want to help you."
That didn’t seem to have convinced the Artist as her anger seemed to have risen with her left hand oozing ink and ink drops rising from her hair. “And why should I believe that and not make my crows eat you all from the inside?”
Danyelle spoke "Discord asked my friends and I for help."
That name left the Artist a bit confused though. “Who?”
Danyelle spoke "Relax Carmina, I just want to help you... I know what it's like to lose a sibling...."
Shadow spoke "I nearly lost Maria long ago but I owe it to Princess Celestia for saving her."
That made the Artist freeze. “Wha… How did you know about my past?”
Danyelle spoke "My brother barely made it to full term but his soul was reincarnated as Megaman..."
But that just about made the Artist’s anger go straight over the edge until…
A stranger spoke "Wow, and I thought I was the only one."
Danyelle hisses at the female.
Megaman spoke "Knock it off sis!"
The Artist seemed to be trembling. “No… It’s impossible…”
the voice spoke "Well it is, big sis."
Something jumped out of the Artist’s left hand, revealing itself to be a ink spiritual head of that crow monster from before.
The crow monster spoke "I’ve been with you the whole time, sis."
Megaman spoke "He's just like me... But I never had a physical body, he used to."
Danyelle slowly calms down.
Danyelle spoke "He was with you the entire time but you weren't aware until now."
The Artist said nothing, but after a second, ink stopped rising from her hair, ink stopped oozing from her left hand while her right arm turned back into a hand as her beak started twitching with a whimper. “Matias? Is that really you?”
Danyelle and Megaman kept quiet.
The spiritual head started morphing into a human form.
Matias spoke "Of course it’s me, Carmina."
Carmina knew that her little brother was telling the truth, and hugged him, crying waterfalls with inky tears, as Matias hugged her big sister back, crying silent tears of his own.
Danyelle was crying as well.
Danyelle spoke "I can't stop crying...."
But soon, Carmina calmed down before smiling, as her still-flowing tears turned from inky-black to water-clear.
Megaman thinks "Well, she's calmed down..."
Danyelle contacts Discord via telepathy.
Danyelle spoke "{Good news, we got one reformed!}"
Discord spoke via telepathy "{Good news? That’s wonderful news! But where are you? I’m watching the others on their bad guys’ reformations, and your group’s nowhere to be seen.}"
Danyelle spoke "{Shadow, Bass, Megaman, Toto and I are in a pocket dimension.}"
Discord asks "{Wait-What?! But how?!}"
Danyelle spoke "{No idea but Carmina has finally let got of her rage.}"
Discord spoke "{That’s great! Now if she could help you guys get back, that would be splendid.}"
Danyelle spoke "{Given that warp rings and teleportation magic don't work...}"
But then everyone in the area fell into a portal made of ink, then found themselves out of the painting.
Danyelle asks "Is everyone okay?"
Megaman spoke "I'm fine."
Shadow spoke "Same."
Bass just scoffs.
Carmina spoke "Listen, I’m sorry for acting hostile like that. I just couldn’t take anymore guilt."
Danyelle spoke "Like I had told two others, the past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it or, learn from it. Plus I know how painful it is to lose a sibling. I never truly knew that my brother's soul had lived on in the net until a few days ago."
Carmina hugged Danyelle in gratitude for helping and understanding her.
Danyelle returned the hug.
*Meanwhile with Twilight and Rainbow*
Twilight spoke "I'm out of options..."
Rainbow Dash spoke "Those ponies go completely by their own rules. But that mare with the stitched mask and pink mane kinda reminds me of Fluttershy."
Fluttershy had sneezed.
Twilight spoke "But we should be careful though."
Despite the efforts of the Mane Six and the Mobian Guard, the baddies were slow to reform.
Discord spoke "Well, at least we’re at a good start."
Danyelle spoke "Yeah, one step at a time... If only the same could be same about Ashley's parents..."
Then Fluttershy and Maria returned with a smile on their faces.
Shadow spoke "Hi Maria."
Discord asks "So, how was your time with Flippy?"
Fluttershy spoke "He was a delight to talk with, I had to wingslap Maria once when she was about to mention guns though."
Maria spoke "And I’m glad Fluttershy did that, because if she hadn’t, he would’ve turned into his literal alter ego, Fliqpy."
Fluttershy spoke "And we all know it wouldn't sit well with Shadow if Maria got hurt again."
Soon enough, Danyelle's phone goes off due to a message from Bugs.
