Lilly Vane is a red 27 year old female pegasus, she's also the older sister of Fluttershy. Her cutie mark is the same as Fluttershy. She works at the local bar in Ponyville as a singer to songs that are never heard of in Equestria at all. Even though she has the same cutie mark as Fluttershy, her special talent is singing. She's the one of the top famous singers in Equestria next to Sapphire Shores and Songbird Serenade. She also does modeling for Photo Finish. You wouldn't believe how many/what kind of letters she got from her fans. Even those she's famous, she doesn't do tours all across Equestria, she stays in her current home in Ponyville for personal reasons.
The thing with her special talent as singing is that she is abled to sing songs with different voices. Like if a song has a male voice in it, she sings in a male voice.
Right now she's sleeping in her bed in her home in Ponyville, the time on her alarm clock is 7:29 AM. She always set her alarm clock for 7:30 AM every morning.
Her eyes are still shut when all of a sudden her alarm clock started beeping.
She groaned as she moved her hoof to snooze it and pressed it. She yawned and stretched her body. Her bones popped as to get the blood pumping. She wiped her eyes to get the last bit of sleep out of them. Then she blinks them. She looks at her alarm clock, it says 7:30 AM.
She looks at the wall in front of her for a moment until something in her mind clicked. Her eyes widen. She gasped in surprise. "Today's the day! I totally forgot today is my 5th anniversary of my job at Berry Punch's bar here in Ponyvile."
She got out of her bed and ran to the bathroom to get cleaned up, after that was done, she ran to her kitchen to make breakfast.
She also works out at the Ponyville Gym. Even though she's a pegasus, she wants to be perfectly fit and strong like an earth pony. She also does roller skating.
After she eaten breakfast and everything, she ran to her front door. Next to the front door on the right is a picture of her family, all smiling to the camera that the picture was taken.
"Wish me luck guys." Lilly said.
Her skates were next to the front door on the left. She put them on and skated out of her house.
She felt her cutie mark glow as she felt a song was coming on. She took a deep breath and started to sing.
She inhaled and exhaled happily and with a smile on her face, she's ready to start the day. That song she just sang is one of the many songs she sang ever since it was recommended by her friend/crush Willight Robinbine all those years ago. Every song she sang was recommended by him. Anyway...
She continues to skate through town, waving to everypony that is awake and out in town. And there is Pinkie Pie, the lovable pink party pony herself.
"Are you excited for your big 5 anniversary Vinny?! I sure am excited, is there gonna be songs, drinks, food... mmm food... *ahem* games, everything?!" Pinkie Pie exclaims. Even though Pinkie Pie is soo random in Ponyville, Lilly grown close to the pink mare as bff's. Also she likes being called Vinny by Pinkie Pie as a nickname.
Lilly kept on skating through town. "I am Mena. There is gonna be a couple of songs that I'll be singing. And yes there'll be drinks and all that. It's Berry's bar, the food and drinks are always free on these anniversaries."
Pinkie let the nickname Mena stick to her by Lilly. As both ponies continue to stroll through town. They arrived at Berry Punch's bar, Lilly Vane's job there.
As they entered the bar, Lilly's co-workers are there wearing party hats. There was a banner saying "Happy 5th Year Anniversary Lilly Vane!"
There were cake, drinks, games and soo much more.
Lilly turned to Pinkie Pie, who is grinning ecstatically. "Did you set this all up?" She asked pointing a hoof at all of the party stuff.
Pinkie just nodded. "Yes indeedly I did Vinny. It's your day today. Enjoy it and have fun!"
Lilly smiled. "I will." Pinkie just bounced off to enjoy the party.
The first thing on Lilly's mind is just have fun. So that's what she did.
She enjoyed everything at her party. There was a cake food fight with cake thrown everywhere at everypony. Everypony had fun doing that.
After that, Lilly went on stage where she sings songs for everypony for the past 5 years and where she works. Lilly taps the mic with a hoof getting everypony's attention.
"Everypony, I just wanted to say thank you for this awesome anniversary party and now I wanted to sing a couple of songs for you guys to celebrate my 5th year anniversary working here." Lilly said before taking a huge breath and started to sing. Her cutie mark is glowing brightly right now.
She panted as she sang the last note of the song. And after a moment, everypony started cheering. She smiled big as she started to cry from all of those cheers.
"Th-thank you everypony." She said. She felt proud that these ponies enjoyed these songs she sang for her 5th anniversary at the job she works at. She rubs her eyes to get the rest of the tears from continuing to fall out. She sniffs as she tries to calm down. And after calming down, she said this. "I'll try to do even more better next year with better songs everypony! Enjoy the rest of today ponies!"
And with that, everypony continued to enjoy this celebration at Berry Punch's bar in Ponyville. And after a long day of partying, everypony went home including Lilly, but before Lilly can open her front door...
"Vinny wait!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed. Turning to see the pink pony.
"Yes Mena?" Lilly asked with an raised eyebrow.
"I just wanted to give you this." Pinkie said before giving Lilly a peck on the cheek. "Tomorrow at Sugarcube Corner at 1:30 PM. See you there Vinny-winny!"
Before Lilly replied, Pinkie bounced off.
Lilly rubbed her cheek that Pinkie kissed, she blushed. Maybe that pink mare has something more to give Lilly, but she shakes her head, shrugs, and went inside her home.
After she laid in bed, she closed her eyes and went to sleep.
