Leon and Sonata stared each other up and down, Spryzen glowed in Sonata's hand its fiery spirit was on another level. Sonata looked down at Spryzen and smiled. 'I feel you Spryzen, you're as excited as me to face off against such a strong opponent.' Sonata's attention then went to that of Luinor. 'Zone Luinor. A fast heavy hitter Attack Type with a counterclockwise rotation. Those two blades it has are where all its power is concentrated at and when it takes enough damage it aligns raising its attack power even higher. The best thing to do is to play on defense, there's no way we can fight it head-on.'

Sonata put Spryzen in clockwise spinning Defense Mode as she then attached Spryzen to her launcher. Leon followed in her footsteps and did the same as he attached Luinor to his launcher as he got into position. 'I can only hope Spryzen can take whatever they throw at us. We may not be able to win in a battle of attack or speed but we can surely win in a battle of endurance and stamina!'

Leon looked at Sonata's fierce expression and then at Spryzen. 'So she's playing it safe by playing defense, very well. All the better for me, I can't wait to see the look of despair on her face when she learns that it's impossible for our attacks to be stopped by some foolish shield.'

"First Battle!" The referee cried. The audience stayed quiet, Adagio and Aria watched from the sidelines. The two were holding hands to help with their nerves, if Sonata lost it would be nearly impossible to make a comeback. "Get ready and set!"

"Three! Two! One! Let it Rip!" Everyone in the arena yelled.

Spryzen and Luinor hit the stadium as the two rushed around, Spryzen raced forward and reached the center as Luinor raced around waiting for the call to strike. 

"All right Spryzen! You're looking good, now just hold down the fort!" Sonata looked up at Leon who had so far stayed quiet, he had not yet called out an attack so Luinor was still racing around the stadium. "What's wrong, aren't you going to attack?"

"If it's an attack you want, it's an attack you'll receive! Go forth, Zone Slam!" Luinor did as Leon told and rushed in to strike Spryzen, Spryzen took the hit like a champ, however, and brushed off the attack as if it was nothing. 

Sonata smiled. "Nice try but it'll take more than that to defeat my Spryzen! Keep attacking like that and this Battle will be over in no time!"

"Oh, this Battle will all be over sooner than you expect." Luinor then did something unexpected as it hit the stadium wall, it then ricocheted off the hit and crashed into another wall and then another. 

Sonata couldn't believe what she was witnessing, Luinor had gone rogue as it was bouncing off the walls left and right. 'What's he planning?! If he keeps taking all those hits it'll run out of stamina in no time!' Just then Luinor hit another wall which bounced it up toward the speed slope and toward the speed crater, Leon smiled as Sonata gasped. 'That was his plan all along?!'

"I can't afford to lose here!" Sonata's aura burned as Spryzen then started to glow! Sonata let out a scream as her aura burst forth. "Let's go Spryzen!" Spryzen shined bright as its Hyper-Flux came into full effect. "Come at us Luinor!! COME AT US NOW!!!" 

Leon's smile only got bigger. "You heard the women! Now go Luinor!!" Luinor's aura burst to life as it raced into the speed crater. Due to all the hits it took from colliding with the walls, Luinor was perfectly aligned and was ready for an all-out attack. Just then Luinor jumped out of the speed crater and charged toward Spryzen! "YOU WANTED US TO COME SO BAD WELL HERE WE ARE!! STRIKE THEM DOWN WITH ZONE HAMMER!!!"

"STOP THEM WITH LORD SHIELD!!" Sonata yelled.

The two Beys clashed with one another, sparks flew and the wind picked up. Sonata and Leon both yelled out as Luinor and Spryzen continued to push each other back. With one last attack, an explosion was set off blasting the two Beys away. The audience watched as both Luinor and Spryzen were sent flying out of the ring and hit the flooring. Both Bladers looked at their fallen Beys and then turned their direction to the referee. 

"Who won?!" They both asked.

The referee stayed quiet but not a second later did he make his call. "Zone Luinor with a Ring-Out Finish! Point standings 1-0!" The crowd cheered as the two Bladers retrieved their Beys. Sonata looked down at Spryzen, she was clearly saddened at her loss. She peeked from the corner of her eye to see Adagio and Aria with depressed faces. 

"Hey, Sonata!" Sonata turned to face Leon, he showed off Luinor as he gave off a determined expression. "Me and Luinor want to face our opponent with everything they've got! Let's have the Second Battle be an Attack Type showdown! Throw everything you can at us, nothing less than a hundred percent!" 

"Leon..." Sonata smiled. "Yeah!" Sonata changed Spryzen from once clockwise spinning Defense Mode to counterclockwise Attack Mode. "We'll beat you at your own game! Our fire with scorch your puny dragon to ashes!" Spryzen glowed as its avatar loomed over Sonata. 

"You can try your best but Luinor won't be beaten in a match of attack! Your flames with be extinguished before your very eyes, last chance to throw in the towel." Luinor glowed as its avatar loomed over Leon. 

Sonata smiled. "I could say the same thing for you, me and Spryzen aren't going anywhere!"

"Second Battle!" Once again the audience went quiet as they all wanted to see how this flaming hot battle between Sonata and Leon would turn out. "Now get ready and set!"

"Three! Two! One! Let it Rip!" Everyone yelled.

For the second time that day, both Beys took to the stadium. Spryzen and Luinor raced around the stadium waiting for the other to make their move. 

"Make your move Luinor! Zone Slam!" Leon yelled.

"Hit them back Spryzen! Show them a real attack with Counter Break!" Sonata yelled.

Spryzen and Luinor collided as the two were sent back. The two came back for more as they soon engaged in a barrage of immense blows with the two canceling out the other. Attack after attack, blow after blow, neither Spryzen nor Luinor were giving an inch. With one last attack the two Beys were sent flying to opposite sides of the stadium, Spryzen's tip gained traction to the stadium flooring and sped off with Luinor giving chase. 

Spryzen raced up the speed slope with Luinor close behind. It then leaped into the speed crater as Luinor came soon after. Both Beys sped up as they then clashed in the center of the speed crater. Luinor and Spryzen then jumped out of the speed crater and raced down the speed slope in a side-to-side clash. Neither Bey was giving up nor did they look like they would be stopping any time soon. 

"Victory will be mine! Now go Luinor!" Luinor glowed as its avatar was unleashed. It started to push Spryzen back thanks to its increase in power. 

"It's a shame because victory has my name written all over it! Take charge Spryzen!" Spryzen glowed as its avatar burst out from the flames, its Hyper-Flux shined bright as now Spryzen was keeping Luinor at bay.  "Now take them out with a Lord Whip!!"

Lord Whip connected and knocked Luinor reeling backward as it was sent flying across the stadium. Thankfully for Leon, it landed back into the stadium by hitting the wall, knocking it back into the speed crater. Luinor quickly picked up speed as it then jumped into the air. "TAKE FLIGHT MY DRAGON!!" 

"GET READY FOR IT SPRYZEN!!" Sonata yelled.

"RAIN FROM ABOVE LUINOR!!! STRIKE PUNISHMENT ON THEM WITH ZONE HAMMER!!!!" Leon yelled.

"I REFUSE TO LOSE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE!!! LORD SPRYZEN: S!!!!!" Sonata yelled.

Spryzen and Luinor collided with a fury. As if fireworks went off explosions went off from every corner of the stadium as the whole arena was filled with smoke and dust. Like two stars that could light the sky, a golden light, and a blue light were seen sent flying into the air. The blue light dimmed until it stopped glowing completely as the golden light fell to the ground. 

When the screen of smoke cleared pieces of Luinor were scattered on the stadium as Spryzen was on the glow still glowing brightly from Hyper-Flux. Sonata breathed in and out with sweat dripping from her forehead she looked down at Spryzen and smiled. "ALL RIGHT WE DID IT! WE WON!!!"

The crowd cheered for Sonata as the referee made the call. "Lord Spryzen with a Burst Finish! With a final score of 2-1, Sonata is the winner! The score is now 2-1 with Dragonslayers leading by one!"

Adagio and Aria ran over to Sonata and hugged her. "You did it Sonata! I'm so proud of you!" Adagio then smelt Sonata. "But.. maybe you should take a bath after this, you kinda smell."

"Well, she deserved this sweat after what she did!" Aria then looked at Sonata. "Thanks to you we're finally on the board, now we can turn this around with this momentum." 

Sonata smiled. "The Tag Battles are next, anything can happen with those. But with our unbreakable bond, we've got this! This is our turning point girls, let's turn this around and win this thing!" 

"Yeah!" Adagio and Aria yelled.

Up in the stands Sunset wiped her eyes. "She did it, Sonata really did it." 

"She sure did Sunny." Tom tightened his grip on Sunset's hand. "Now with the Tag Battles coming up this is where the girls shine, their teamwork is one of a kind."

"And I'm going to cheer for them 'till the very end!" Sunset looked down at the girls and smiled. 'You've all grown up so much, and I couldn't be more proud.'

Sonata looked back at her sisters. "Come on Ari, Dagi, let's go out there in the Tag Battles and win this thing!"

Adagio and Aria looked at one another and then at Sonata. "Yeah!"

Sonata, Aria, and Adagio stared down with Leon, Dean, and Gabby. All six avatars; Achilles, Apocalypse, Spryzen, Devolos, Luinor, and Genesis loom over them. The Tag Battles would be beginning soon, how would things go, it would be up to the bond the Bladers forged with their Beys.

Preview: Now that the 1v1 battles are over it's time for the Tag Team Battles to take place. Starting things off Aria and Adagio decide to join forces, their opponents? Leon and Dean. Will Adagio and Aria be able to overcome the power of Luinor and Devolos or will Achilles and Apocalypse succumb to the mighty duo of Dean and Leon?
