The next day
On this quite Friday morning, we find the students and faculty lead by Timber about to start their morning hike which was on the agenda for their last day of camp which also includes a party later and a concert by both Flash and the Rainbooms later today to make their final day of camp go down with a bang before they leave the next day. After breakfast The students and staff minus Sunset followed Timber to the mountain trail that he himself jotted down and planned out way before the group arrived at camp. soon the mountain trek began as Timber lead the group up towards the terrains as some of the students armed with GoPros, smartphone's, and camera's surveyed the lovely view of the entirety of the everfree as the luscious tree's and clear flowing rivers as the birds flew up into the horizon. In other words it was such a lovely view and quite an amazing trail, Applejack and Pinkie however remained silent throughout the trek were still thinking about last nights confrontation with their former friend as the farmgirl berated herself for almost attacking the fire headed girl. Fear entered her mind that after that night there was no way Sunset was gonna trust her after that, and honestly she couldn't blame her one bit despite how harsh Sunsets words were especially with what she said about her lil sis she should have handled it in a less violent manner. The two of em tried their hardest to cheer themselves up and enjoy the hike up the mountains but this was easier said then done. As the group was halfway up the mountain a weird feeling entered their minds mainly the main five and they soon stopped dead in their tracks and Timber and the others stopped and noticed this.
"Hey!" Timber called out to the five girls. " You guys ok?!"
"Uh kind of" Applejack said in a worried tone and then asked. " I don't know why partner but I have this strange feeling about something happening up here, are you sure this trail is safe Timber?"
"Don't worry" He said in a reassuring tone. " There's nothing to be afraid of, I've been up and down these mountains many times. the chances of something bad happening such as a landslide are about 10 to.................................." But before he could finish his sentence the entire group felt a weird tremble as the ground below them started to shake violently causing massive panic's amongst the students and faculty as an earthquake started to form. Fear entered their minds at the though of the trembling earth sending them falling down the mountain or worse the ground below them collapsing taking them with it. Bloom held onto her crutches tightly as the ground shook more and more violently. " EVERYONE FOLLOW ME QUICKLY!!!!!!!!" Timber then instructed them to follow him to a nearby cave, as they entered the entire group ducked and covered as the ground continued to shake violently and the sounds of a few rocks and boulders rolling down and crashing down the mountain top. As the earthquake continued something caught one of their eyes, Dash then noticed a mysterious green aura emerging through the shaking ground which earned a curious and suspicious look from the rainbow headed athlete. After a few minutes the ground stopped shaking as the entire group breathed a sigh of relief, Timber instructed them to stay in the cave for a few more minutes just in case of an aftershock transpiring. When five minutes past Timber signaled that it was safe now and found it best that they ended their little hike early which the students and staff quickly agreed, they soon began their trek down the mountain as Dash continued to ponder about the mysterious aura that she witness during the earthquake wondering if magic was involved.
Back at camp
Moments later the entire group made their way back to camp with each going their separate ways with the faculty having a short meeting regarding the events earlier while some of the students went back to their cabins or decided to go for a quick dip in the lake trying their hardest to shake off that horrific encounter with that sudden earthquake. Timber and his sister went back to their house to have a private talk regarding Mr Riches business proposal , the Rainbooms however had a quick meeting of their own as Dash explained to them about the mysterious aura that she witnessed during the earthquake.
"Are you sure you saw a green aura Dash?" Fluttershy asked as the athlete nodded.
"I saw it with my own eyes Shy" She answered. " After all the encounters of magic throughout the year I can recognize any weird phenomena that catch my eyes" As she explained herself the others scratched their chins wondering the reason behind that sudden earthquake this morning.
"Hmmmmm" Applejack pondered. " If ya'll are right about this Dash, It seems that we might have found ourselves another magical mystery to solve" Rarity then took it upon herself to let out a long and irritated sigh.
"So much for a relaxing week off school" She complained.
"If we keep on bumping into these magical mysteries, we might as well call ourselves Scooby Doo and the Rainbooms.............I CALL SCOOBY !!!!!!!!!" Pinkie said in her usual tone earning groans from the rest of the group.
"Pinkie focus!!!" Dash shouted.
"Sorry" She replied.
"You don't think Sunset has anything to do with it do you?" Fluttershy asked.
"I doubt it " Rainbow Dash replied. " I get that she's still pissed at us but I doubt she'd try to kill us a second time, especially since Gloriosa, Diamond Tiara, and Filthy Rich would have been witnesses after staying behind. Also I don't wanna make the mistake of accusing Sunset again and piss her off even more than she already is" The others couldn't help but nod in agreement.
"So does that mean the earthquake could have been caused by someone else?" Pinkie asked.
"Most likely darling, but also unlikely" Rarity added. " We're pretty much the only ones in school along with Sunset and Twilight who can use magic..................................wait you don't think the Dazzlings followed us all the way over here to get revenge do you?" The others just shook their heads.
"I seriously doubt that Rarity" Aj said. " If those three stooges wanted revenge they would have done it back home"
"Well then who else could have access to magic aside from us?" Dash asked.
"I think i got an idea" Came a voice and the group was quick to turn around to find Flash and the Shadow six walking towards them each giving the same look as Dash had an hour ago up in the mountain.
" What do ya mean Flash? " Applejack asked.
"Well" He began. After that little earthquake an hour ago I decided to head back to my cabin and practice with my band a little for the concert and party tonight, but before I could enter my cabin I heard the sound of loud arguing and my curiosity got the better of me so I decided to see what the ruckus was all about. I made my way towards the screaming and soon came across not only Timber and his sis Gloriosa in the yard of their home but also Indigo and the others, turns out I wasn't the only one who had the same idea"
"We hid behind a bolder as we eavesdropped on their little ranting" Lemon zest jumped in. " As it turns out they were having an argument about filthy riches business proposal and Gloriosa was NOT happy about it one bit. As it turns out he was planning on buying the camp and turn it into a spa resort to expand his empire, while Timber thought it was wise move as the camp has been going on for many years and thought that it was the time to let it go. Gloriosa wasn't convinced and stated that this was their home and that no business man had any right to take it from them and that their parent's would fully agree with her"
"And Timber retorted that they also would have agreed that it was time to let the camp go as it's been going on since their grandparents were born" Sugarcoat stated. " Gloriosa got furious and I mean furious and we legit thought that she was seconds away from slugging her bro in the jaw, but she didn't. She just walked away near the woods not bothering to look back at her brother who pleaded with her to come back, but that wasn't the end of it. As we saw her walk away we noticed a weird aura emerge from the necklace that she was wearing and it had a menacing greenish color that just screamed pure evil" After hearing Sugarcoat close off the story the groups reactions varied from both shock and confusion.
"I don't believe it!!!!!!" Applejack said. " Filthy Rich want's to turn the camp into some sort of fancy schmancy spa resort?! Out of all the cheap and selfish ways to make a quick buck" As she was ranting Rarity placed a hand on her shoulder slowly calming her down.
"Never mind that darling, I think we have more serious matters" Rarity reassured. " Dash didn't you say that there was a green aura emerging from the earthquake earlier?" Dash then nodded her head.
"Yes that's right" Dash said and then a shocked look formed on her face. " OMG!!! Do you think Gloriosa had something to do with the earthquake?"
"Actually Dash I can see that" Indigo replied. " Especially since that necklace of hers had the same green aura color that you saw"
"So does that mean Gloriosa is a magic user too?" Fluttershy said.
"That or it's that necklace of hers that's giving her that power" Pinkie jumped in. " But why would she try to kill us earlier, we didn't do anything to her"
"I think I might know Pinkie" AJ said. " After hearing the argument between her and Timber, she wasn't trying to kill us. She was trying to kill Mr Rich so that he wouldn't try to take the camp away from her, she probably thought that he was with us during the hike and caused that earthquake in an effort to kill him even if it meant taking us with him. But she must have not realized dat he and diamond Tiara stayed behind as well, but still I can't believe dat he would do something so selfish he's practically family to me!"
"I know Aj , I know " Fluttershy replied while putting a comforting hand on her shoulder. " We can talk to Mr Rich about this later, right now our main priority is stopping Gloriosa before she does something even worse than the earthquake" Applejack then let out a sigh knowing that her friend was right.
"Your right Shy" She said. " I can talk to rich about this later. "Right now Gloriosa is our main Priority, so what's the game plan?"
"I say we go after her and get some answer's" Dash said while cracking her fist.
"HELL YEAH!!!!!!" Indigo jumped in and flexed her bicep a bit to show off in an agreeing manner.
"Hold on darlings" Rarity jumped in. "I don't think it's wise to just force her into talking, we should try talking to her first before taking action, I just don't wanna risk pardon my french............. piss her off if we do or say the wrong thing"
"Rarity's right" Twilight said. " It's best that we handle this the reasonable way as to avoid any confrontation, I say we follow Gloriosa to see what she's up too and try to reason with her ad hopefully she'll hear us out as we have no beef with her" Everyone including Dash pondered for a reason until they each reach a verdict and nodded their heads in agreement.
"Your right Twi" Dash said. " We should handle this carefully, I don't want anything happening to the camp and especially Sunset" The others not expecting Dash of all people fully agreeing to handle a situation the rational way instead of the hard way never the less fully agreed while nodding in unison.
" Ok so it's settled let's go confront Gloriosa" Applejack announced. " Now then where did you say she ran off to Flash?"
"Last time we saw her she ran off towards the forest after her argument with Timber, If ima take a guess she's probably somewhere near the mountains"
"Well alrighty then " Indigo replied. " Lets get a move on"
"What? No Indigo thank you but we got this" Dash stated.
"Nonsense!!!" Sugarcoat jumped in. " We're behind you guys no matter what, your our friends after all"
"YEAH WE GOT YOUR BACKS!!!!!!!" Lemon Zest said. " Besides without Sunset it's gonna be pretty difficult so you'll need all the help you can get, we're behind you all the way" After saying this the other shadowbolts nodded in unison as the rainbooms remained both shocked and touched at their loyalness to help them out with this situation.
"Thanks fellah's" Applejack replied with a heartwarming smile. " You guys are the best friends a gal can have" And the other rainbooms nodded and smiled in unison. " Alrighty then let's get a move on, Flash ya coming too?"
"No it's fine" He replied. " I'll stay behind just in case something happens, and don't worry I'll look after your sisters just in case"
"Thanks partner, also be careful" Applejack said while the rocker boy gave a wink and a thumbs up. She then turned towards the forest trail before speaking again. " Alright then, let's move out ya'll!!!!!!" The others then voiced their agreement and soon the Rainbooms and the Shadowbolts made their way towards the forest to locate Gloriosa and solve this magical mystery once and for all.
5 minutes later
We find the group trekking through the deepest part of the woods trying to locate the perpetrator of the magical earthquake......................... Gloriosa. As they walked they couldn't help but wonder what their real strategy was gonna be for when they confront her, even they agreed to calmly talk to her as to not cause any more trouble they feared that it wouldn't be as easy especially with the fact that the girl was equipped with a magical necklace that granted her mysterious powers. After a five minute walk through the forest trail the group decided to take a shirt breather.
"Where in tarnation could this girl possibly be?" Applejack asked.
"Maybe she's up in the mountains?" Sunny flare replied. " Maybe she's checking to see if Mr riches corpse is there after the earthquake fiasco?"
" Doubtful" Sugarcoat said. " She's bound to have realized that he wasn't with..........................................." Before she could finish, Sugarcoat noticed a nearby cave about a few meters away from them which housed a mysterious green light that illuminated the inside. " Wait look over there, is that cave glowing?" The others turned to where She was pointing and they too noticed the green light shining from inside of the cave entrance and soon put two and two together after realizing that it was the exact same tone as the one Dash found and what was on Gloriosa's necklace.
"Looks like we found our girl" Applejack said and then ushered the others to head towards the cave. " Lets go ya'll" And soon they made their way towards the cave.As they reared the entrance the group stealthfully took a peek inside to find Gloriosa standing in the center, the green aura illuminating from the necklace she was wearing while she chanted some sort of spell and taking a moment to curse both Filthy rich and her traitor of a brother. The evil looking green aura in the cave grew more and more as Gloriosa continued her magic chatting looking like she was growing more and more powerful from each word that came out of her mouth, having seen enough the group rushed in to confront the perpetrator behind the earthquake.
"So it was you!!!!!!" Rainbow dash called out earning the attention of Gloriosa who remained unfazed as the group entered the cave.
"Heh your a long ways away from camp, aren't you fellah's?" She said in a mocking tone,
"Drop the act princess!!!" Lemon zest jumped in. " We heard everything, So your responsible for almost getting our asses killed this morning!?" Gloriosa just chuckled.
"My what a "smart gal" you are" She replied earning a growl from the mixed green haired girl. " Ok yes you got me, I am the perpetrator, the mastermind, the culprit, and the badguy "
"But why Gloriosa?" Pinkie said. " I get that your furious at Filthy Rich for wanting to buy the camp and turn it into a spa resort. Yes we know all about it but don't you think this is going way too far? You could have killed us earlier and that is just the definition of MEAN"
"phht mean seriously? What are you 10?" Gloriosa mocked. " And it's not just Rich there have been many others who have tried to buy our camp from us and i for one couldn't stand it. You see this camp is like a home to me, it has so many amazing memories from the day I was born. When my grandparent's died I swore to keep this camp safe and to keep the legacy on for years to come, but it was so damn hard with all of these investors who tried to buy it from us to turn it into either a spa, hotel, theme park, etc and it was freaking irritating!!! I'm happy that my parents always turned own the offer but unfortunately my brother was another story, he always figured that it was time to let the camp go as it's been going on for years and that maybe it was time to retire it. He just doesn't understand how much it meant to me and he didn't even bother to care about my feelings, that's how damn selfish he is. Then one day I came across this magic necklace that granted me such amazing powers which helped to scare off some of the other investors with ease, and I plan on doing the same with Mr Rich but instead of chasing him off I'm gonna make him learn his lesson the hard way so that no other investors will dare to take my camp MY HOME from me" As she finished her declaration the others were in complete shock not expecting this to come out of the young counselors mouth, after a moment of shock applejack stepped in face full of determination and sympathy.
"And you think endangering lives is the answer?!" She shouted. " Listen I get that your angry and I don't blame you one bit, If ma farm aka my home was in danger of being bought and sold to investors I would have done anything to protect it, but I wouldn't go as far as you. This is not and I repeat NOT the right answer Gloriosa and you know it, listen Mr Rich and I are pretty close. He's been doing business with my family for years and he's practically family too, I can talk to him for you and maybe get him to change his ............................................
"Oh it's too late for that Applejack" Gloriosa interrupted. " The time for negotiating is over, besides all these investors are stubborn there's no talking them out of it and I'm sure Rich is the same as the rest of em"
"Cut the crap forest girl!!!" Lemon zest jumped in. " We're not gonna stand by and let you endanger the camp anymore with that evil looking necklace"
"Yeah!!!!" Sunny flare jumped in. " If you think your gonna get away with this then you have another thing coming!!! If you want the camp then your gonna have to go through us first!!!!!"
"Amen!!!! Dash replied. " Your pretty much outnumbered Gloriosa so your better off just surrendering before anyone gets hurt!!!" And with that Dash and the others got into a battle stance ready for anything that Gloriosa was about to throw at them, however she remained unfazed despite being surrounded by the 11 campers .
"Oh no I'm surrounded my plan is ruined, whatever shall I do?" She said sarcastically and then raised an arm and soon a green aura engulfed her arm as the rainbooms and shadowbolts found themselves being hoisted up into the air, in a swift motion Gloriosa thrust her arm towards the left side of the cave bringing the 11 girls with it as they crashed down onto the ground. After a moment of painful groaning the group looked up to find Gloriosa standing near the entrance, her face full of pure evil as she stared at the group who were still laying on the ground. " I'd love to stay and chat Rainbooms and shadowbolts, but I got a camp to save and a pesky Business men to eliminate" And with that she exited the cave but not before using her powers to levitate a large boulder near the entrance trapping the 11 girls inside. And with that she walked away laughing maliciously as she made her way towards camp, along the way her eyes started to turn a dark greenish color.
6 minutes later
We find the girls ( well mainly Dash, AJ, and Indigo) trying their hardest to push the boulder out of the way while the others tried to find another way out leaving the heavy lifting to the three strongest girls in the group and also finding time to try and call for help, but sadly to no avail as the boulder looked like it haven't moved an inch and with the others not able to get a cell signal inside of the cave .
"So how's that let's talk to her first before taking action plan coming along Rarity?" Sour sweet said in an annoyed tone as she continued to try to find a way out along with the others.
"Sour don't you start with me" Rarity replied with a annoyed groan.
"Ok you two knock it off" Twilight interrupted. " Instead of complaining and arguing with eachother we should focus on trying to find a way out of here"
"Twilight's right girls" Sugarcoat said. " arguing isn't gonna get us anywhere, Applejack can't you guys use your magic to get us out of here?"
"Negative sugarcube" Applejack replied. " I don't think our magic is strong enough to lift this thing out of the way, plus we might cause a cave in if we used our powers all at once" She then took it upon herself to punch the boulder. " God damn it!!! There's gotta be a way out, she's probably back at camp by now doing god knows what, and the worst part is Bloom and the others are there too and with her crutches she's basically a sitting duck" Applejack tried her hardest not to shed a tear at the fact that her lil sis was possibly in danger especially with the fact that her leg was still broken meaning that she wouldn't be able to defend herself against what Gloriosa was doing to the camp right now. As Indigo placed a comforting hand on the farmgirls shoulder, a bright light soon flashed in the dark blue haired girls face. As she looked up to find the source of the bright light, she could see a small gap near the left side of the cave.
"Hey guys look over there" She said to the group and then pointed to where the source of the light was illuminating and soon the others looked over and noticed the gap as well. " You think that's a way out?"
"Only one way to find out" Dash said and soon they walked over towards the gap and looked up straight at it while wondering if it really was a way out. " So who's going to investigate?"
"I'll do it" Twilight volunteered.
"Ok Twi" Appeljack replied and then knealed down close to the gap and raised her hands forward ready to boost the science girl up. " Just be careful ok?"
"Ok" Twilight said and then placed one foot on the farmgirls hands and one hand onto her shoulder, after saying the classic 1,2,3, the farm girl lifted Twilight up towards the wall and she soon gripped the edge of the gap and proceeded to hoist herself up onto it. In a few seconds she made her way up and surveyed the gap and found that it was the perfect size for all of them to climb through. " Awesome! Looks like it's big enough for us to climb through"
"Nice!!!!" Lemon zest replied. " Good work Twilight, and nice work spotting the gap Indigo" Indigo then gave a thumbs up before speaking.
"So whose going next?" she asked.
"Not to sound nitpicky darling, but boosting everyone one at a time might take a while" Rarity jumped in.
"Rarity's right ya'll" Applejack replied and soon an idea popped into her head and she reached into her back pocket and pulled out a small rope from it. " Here Twi use my backup Lasso!!!" She then threw the lasso up towards her friend who was quick to catch it. Twilight then lowered the edge of it down while holding onto the front part of it ready to hoist them up.
"Applejack................................... why do you have a lasso in your back pocket?" Sugarcoat asked.
"It's a cowgirl thing sugarcube, ya wouldn't understand" Applejack answered. " Ok the ropes strong enough to support three people so Twilight hold on tight to the front alright?" Twilight gave a thumbs up as she readied herself to hoist her friends up out of the cave. Soon after a good 5 minutes the last of the group Pinkie made her way up the lasso and out the gap leading to the outside world. With everyone out of the cave , Twilight collected the lasso and made her own way out of the cave. She looked down to find Indigo ready to catch her, she positioned herself and soon jumped down as Indigo collected her in her arms and gently placed her onto the ground the same way she did with the others. Twilight them gave Applejack her lasso back.
"Good work twi, you too Indigo" Applejack said and then looked up at the sky. " Suns starting to go down"
"We must have been in there for a while" Sour sweet said and then a rumble could be felt from beneath their feet and they looked towards the horizon to find a large greenish cloud of magic near the direction of camp indicating that Gloriosa arrived there a while ago. " A really long while"
"Then lets not waste anymore time, let's go ya'll!!!!!!!" Applejack replied and soon she and the others began their trek back to camp to stop Gloriosa's rampage before it was too late.
Soon the group made their way back to camp only to find the entire place ;looking like a living nightmare full of nothing but dark magic. The entire camp was a mess with most of the buildings and cabins reduced to either ashes or scrap wood, many of the tree's were burnt down and charred, a lot of the plant life were reduced to ashes and roots, green evil looking aura illuminated the atmosphere, the students, staff, and Timber were trapped in bramble like prison cells, but the thing that stood out the most was the massive creature standing in the center of the campsite.
There stood a now fully transformed Glorisa
The group looked up in pure horror at the massive creature that was once one of the counselors standing right in front of them. Her eyes were full of nothing but pure hatred and evil, but what stood out the most was that she looked just like the Witch Gaea Everfree from the campfire story Timber told the group a few days ago. No doubt she chose this form to show how much she wanted to protect this camp from anyone who dared to try to take it away from her, Applejack then noticed that she had Mr Rich in her right hand begging for mercy only to be turned over to a blind eye by the vengeful Gloriosa.
"She's huge!!!!!!!!!" Indigo shouted.
"And she's got Mr Rich!!!!!!!!!" Applejack replied.
"OMG this is a doozy, no scratch that THIS IS THE BIGGEST DOOZY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Pinkie jumped in.
"Pinkie for once I agree with ya" Rainbow dash replied.
" It's time for you to face the consequences of your actions you rich bastard!!!!!!" Glorisa said in a deadly tone sending chills down the restrained mans spine as he was too scared to even beg for mercy anymore from the girl.
"We gotta stop her quick!!!!!!" Applejack declared and soon the others agreed. " Indigo you guys go and take cover"
"WHAT!?" Indigo shouted. " No way we wanna help you guys!!!!!"
"Yeah you'll need all the help you can get to take out this massive forest bitch !" Lemon zest jumped in and the rest of the shadowbolts nodded their heads in agreement.
"Come on you guys think about it" Applejack said. " It'd be too risky for ya'll to be out here with us especially since none of ya'll can't use magic so you'll be an easy target for her it's way too dangerous for you to be here. Besides someone needs to stay behind if something happens to us you guys need to carry on and get everyone including our sisters out of here as fast as you can. I know you guys care for and want to help us with this disaster, but right now ya'll need to get somewhere safe, I don't wanna risk losing another friend. I promise we'll be fine out there , but you guys need to get somewhere safe" As Applejack made her statement the shadowbolts thought for the moment, while they wanted to stay behind and help out their friends. Deep down they knew that Applejack was right, with them not being magic users it'd be too dangerous for them to be out on the field of battle without the fear of Gloriosa either crushing them or incinerating them with her magic, after a moment they made their decision.
"Alright Applejack" Indigo said with a confident smile. " We'll leave it to you guys"
"Just be careful alright?" Sugarcoat replied.
"Don't go doing anything that I wouldn't do" Sour sweet said.
"Kick her ass fellah's" Sunny flare replied with a thumbs up.
"And ya better not lose ya hear?" Lemon zest replied and the others nodded in unison signaling the Rainbooms to be careful. With nothing else to say, the shadowbolts wished the group luck as they ran off to find cover leaving the six girls ready to take on the transformed Gloriosa. Applejack then stepped forward as the others got ready as well.
"Let's do this ya'll" She announced as the group nodded and got into their battle stance as Applejack cried out. " GLORIOSA!!!!!!!!!!" This quickly earned the massive teens attention as she looked down to find her supposed prisoners having freed themselves from the cave.
"Well, well, well" Gloriosa said. " Look who managed to free themselves, If you know whats good for you rainbooms I'd walk away right now before I crush you" Applejack and the others however were unfazed by her threat.
" Not a chance partner" Applejack replied still standing her ground. "Ima have to ask you to stop what your doing and to release our friends and Mr Rich RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!" Gloriosa however showed the least bit intimidated by the farm girls lil announcement and just burst out laughing.
"HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She laughed. " You honestly think you can still stop me ?! Look at me Applejack, I'm huge!!!!! I could practically take on Godzilla if I had too, what the hell makes you think that you and your little friends can stop me?" Rainbow Dash however stepped forward and a magical aura began to illuminate from her fist.
"LIKE THIS!!!!!" She screamed before firing a magical ray towards the giant teen hitting her straight in the torso, and soon the others followed suit and fired magical rays of their own towards Gloriosa. Soon she found herself getting hit by multiple rays of magic belonging to the rainbooms along with twilight, however the girls soon found that their attack had little effect on her even though they were giving it their all, all they managed to accomplish from it was a small giggle from the transformed Gloriosa.
"Hehe so you guys can use magic too huh?" She said staring down at the group who continued to fire at her, and in a swift motion she stomped down on the ground sending the group flying backwards and hitting the ground with a thud. " Too bad it's not as badass as mine "With that she left the group groaning in pain as she went back to her business with her rich captor.
"Ugh" Applejack groaned. " This girl ain't playing no games ya'll"
"How are we gonna beat her?" Pinkie replied.
"If we can just get that necklace off of her" Rarity said.
"God I wish the other me was here" Twilight grunted. " This is NOT easy"
"We feel ya sparkle" Dash said.
"Please god, give us strength" Fluttershy said sadly, but what they didn't notice was the fire headed girl hiding behind a broken cabin having surveyed the entire situation taking the chance to hide in the closest place that she could find. As she surveyed the Rainbooms getting up slowly while moaning softly after their failed attempt to stop, her mind continued to debate with her making her wonder if she should help those whom she once called her friends or just let them handle it themselves to teach them a lesson about taking responsibility for their actions. After a minute of debating Sunset finally made her decision and rushed over to the group, As the rainbooms managed to stand up they turned around to find sunset standing right in front of them with a look mixed with determination and unamusement.
"Sunset?" Fluttershy said.
"Save it, this doesn't mean anything" Sunset coldly replied. " I'll help you guys out just this once, now get off your asses and let's stop Gloriosa before she kills Mr Rich" As much as they wanted to talk to Sunset, they knew that this wasn't the appropriate time as they knew that she was right. There was no time to lose as Mr Riches life was on the line literally. so with nothing left to say the group joined hands ready to pony up all except one.
"Twilight come on!!!!" Applejack said as Twilight looked unsure about ponying up.
"I can't AJ" Twilight said expression hidden in her bangs. " The last time I ponied up I almost killed people, what If the darkness ends up taking control over me again and I end up siding with Gloriosa against my will, or worse I can't control myself and end up accidentally hurt you guys with my magic? I can't AJ , I just can't" Twilight said nothing else clenching her own shoulders trying her hardest to hold back her anxiety, however she jumped a little as she felt a hand on her shoulder and looked up to see Applejack giving her a comforting face.
"Listen sugarcube you have nothing and I mean NOTHING to worry about" Applejack said. " What happened last month wasn't your fault, it was that cursed necklace and Cinches intentions that caused you to embrace that dark magic of yours. Look you might not be the same as the other Twilight Sparkle but I know deep down that you are just as nice and wise as the other one, your a good person Twilight and I know your heart is as gold as a country anchor during a sunrise. You can do this twilight I know you can, your magic is pure and full of love. Whatever happens just know that we will always have your back partner" After hearing this Twilight couldn't help but shed a tear from her friends words of wisdom, Sunset however just scoffed at this little "Sentiment" wondering where AJ was when she needed her the most? Twilight wasted no time and with a new look of determination on her face, she then proceeded joined hands with the others and soon a stream of pure magic engulfed each of them with a big poof causing Gloriosa to turn around to find the source, and she soon discovered 7 figures floating up in the air with their appearance hidden in the smoke. And soon the Rainbooms emerged from the magic smoke cloud now fully ponified up and ready to take action.
"Heh" Gloriosa chuckled a bit. " You just don't know when to give up do you? But i gotta admit those lil forms of yours suit ya perfectly, but regardless of how many wardrobe changes ya go through it's not gonna save ya rainbooms" She then proceeded to swing her massive arm towards them in an effort to slap them away, but the girls were faster as they fired a magical blast at Gloriosa's hand causing her to back up slightly and wince in pain clenching her burnt hand. " AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YOU BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Oh we're just getting started bitchzilla!!" Rainbowdash replied and began to charge up another beam of magic from her hands along with the others.
"Try this on for size partner!!!!!!!!!!!" Applejack cried out and soon each of the girls fired a ray of magic towards the transformed Gloriosa, each consisting of multiple colors pink, purple, blue, yellow, orange, red, and dark purple. the beams soon joined one another creating one massive stream strongly resembling a rainbow. Gloriosa had no time to react as she was hit straight in the gut by the magical stream visibly surprised at how it was more powerful then their last attack , she screamed out in pain as the beam grew stronger and stronger by the minute. She tried her hardest to counter attack but was practically paralyzed by this enormous ray of magic.
"Friendship is MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The rainbooms called out and delivered the final blow by flying closer and closer to Gloriosa increasing the range of their friendship beam. A loud explosion along with a spine chilling scream echoed in the horizon as the force sent the 7 girls flying backwards crash landing on the ground as Gloriosa began to transform back to her normal self as she regressed back to her normal size as she fell alongside the now freed Mr rich. Applejack and Dash noticed this and wasted no time and quickly flew up catching both Mr rich and Gloriosa before they hit the ground. The two friends then landed safely on the ground before regressing back to their original states lightly setting the rich man and the young counselor down. Soon the sky returned to normal as the bramble cages holding the captured students and faculty began to disintegrate and vanish alongside the evil green aura that illuminated the area, soon a chorus of cheers can be heard as the Rainbooms were once again hailed as heroes for saving the day once again making each member happy that they once again stopped another threat, even Sunset couldn't help but crack a small smile secretly glad that things were "almost" back to normal. The CMC's alongside the shadowbolts emerged from the crowd and brought the Rainbooms into a group hug happy that their family and friends were safe and sound. However the celebration was interrupted as they noticed the magic necklace Gloriosa was wearing floating up in the air catching the groups attention, suddenly the Necklace began to split apart as each of the orbs flew off from the thread that held them apart.
"Hey what's up with the necklace?" Pinkie asked and she soon got her answer as each of the 7 orbs flew straight towards the Rainbooms landing in each of their hands, they then began to morph and take the shape of the elements of harmony from Twilight's world surprising each of them. shocked and amazed at this the group wasted no time and wrapped their new elements around their necks as an aura of magic engulfed their bodies. Pinkie was the first to notice, as she lifted her hand up a powerful sprinkle like energy blast shot out of her hand hitting a nearby boulder blasting it to pieces. " WOW NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL A DDDDDDDDDDDDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The others were quick to notice their new abilities as Rarity conjured diamond like force fields after lightly motioning her hands, Rainbow dash's took a step forward and she soon found herself across the lake in just 1 second practically rivaling the Flash hinting that she just acquired super speed which excited the athlete at the fact that her speed just increased to the extreme, Applejack noticed realized her new super strength as she lifted a large piece of debris from the boulder that pinkie blasted earlier with ease, Fluttershy could hear some of the nearby animals discussing the events that just transpired revealing her ability to talk to animals, Twilight gained telekinesis as she noticed and practically freaked out as she was levitating her own glasses off of her face, the last to notice was Sunset as she found out that she could read and sense others feelings just by staring at them. However she showed the least bit interested or excited unlike her former friends and just scoffed.
"Give me a break" She said softly.
As the group minus Sunset continued to admire their new abilities, Gloriosa (now back to normal) finally found her composure and managed to stand up despite the big hit that she received earlier. However as she dusted herself off, the young counselor found herself surrounded by a mob of angry student's and faculty who looked upon her as if she was a witch being put on trial in Salem.
"So ya finally back to normal huh?" Gilda asked as she cracked her knuckles causing Gloriosa to gulp nervously.
"Uh wait hold on" She pleaded while raising her hands near her face. " I can explain"
"Explain what?" Indigo jumped in. " How ya trapped us inside of a cave, trashed the camp, and almost got everyone killed not one but TWO times?!
"YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Bulk biceps shouted.
"What should we do with this big bully fellahs? Derpy asked.
"I say we tie her up in a tree using AJ's Lasso and make her into a Pinata!!!!!!!" Sour Sweet suggested quickly earning support from the others especially Pinkie who always got excited when party props such as Pinata's were mentioned. Gloriosa trembled in fear as the mob of angry students got closer and closer until Timber put a stop to them, shielding his sister from their would have been attack.
"That's enough ya'll!!!!!!!" Timber shouted stopping the crowd in their tracks.
"Why the hell are you defending her?!" Dumbbell asked.
"Yeah bro, I get that she's your sister but she nearly killed us including you." Sunny Flare replied.
"I know what my sister did was wrong and I don't blame you guys for being pissed off" He said compassionately. " But the least we can do is hear her out before we pass judgement towards her. She's my sister, and I know that she wouldn't do something so horrendous without reason" After giving his little lecture, the mob settled down "for now" as they got ready to hear Gloriosa's reason for nearly killing them an hour ago. The young teen however stayed quiet for a few minuted with her expression hidden in her bangs, after what felt like an eternity she finally spoke up.
"Why don't you care?" She said quietly.
"What?" Timber replied with a raised brow. " What are you....................................
"WHY DON'T YOU CARE???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Gloriosa shouted as tears began to rain down her face surprising and shocking her brother. " Why don't you care about the camp like I do?! Don't you see big bro, this camp Isn't just a vacation site, it's our home! This is where our grandparent's met, this is also where mom and dad met, and it's also where you and I were born in. This camp meant everything to me, I love this place bro don't you understand that!? This place holds so many memories in my heart from the friendly tourist who stop by from the hiking and fishing trips that mom and dad take us to on the weekend ever since elementary school. But whenever those business men kept dropping by to take the camp from us and turn it into some kind of resort or tourist attraction you didn't take me or our parents side and even felt that it was time to let the camp go after all of these years, when my grandparent's died I vowed to protect my camp, my home from anyone who threatened to take it away from me ad that's what i did! When i discovered that magic necklace months ago I knew that was my ticket to drive those scum business men out of our home so that they didn't come back a second time. But in the end that was a rather bad idea from the start, I wanted to protect the camp at all cost that I ended up putting innocent lives in danger for my own selfish desires and look where it's got me? The camps trashed, the guest are probably traumatized , and i almost killed an innocent man with my powers. Big bro I am so sorry, I don't expect you and everyone else to forgive me I deserve whatever punishment you guys have planned for me" Gloriosa said nothing and just continued to sob as the entire crowd looked at her with looks of remorse not expecting to hear those words come out of her mouth. The girl continued to cry until Timber walked up and wrapped his arms around her waist bringing her into a hug surprising her.
"No sis" He began. " I'm the one who should be sorry, I had no idea the camp meant so much to you. Too be honest I cared about the camp too, but I always thought that it was best to let it go as it's been going on for years. But after hearing your words, I realized now that I don't want to let go of our home either. I want the camp to go on for years as well, I want my future kids and grandkids to experience this wonderful place for years and years to come. This camp is our home and doesn't deserve to be let go for anyone, sis I am deeply sorry for not taking your side. I should have realized how important the camp was to you, can you forgive me?" Gloriosa smiled big after hearing her brothers words and in a split second she returned the embrace as she weeped on her brothers shoulder.
"Yes bro, I do. Thank you so much" She sniffed as the crowd couldn't help but awe at this heartwarming moment. Just them Mr rich walked up to the two siblings with a look of remorse on his face.
"I'm sorry too gloriosa" He said earning the girls attention. " I didn't realize how much the camp meant to you and your family, I shouldn't have tried to take it away from you in an attempt to expand my empire that was selfish and cruel of me. I had no business to take you guys home away from you"
"Does that mean?" Gloriosa asked earning a nod from the rich man.
"Yes kid" He said with a smile. " You guys can keep your camp" Hearing this Gloriosa and Timber couldn't help but cheer and bring the man into a group hug which he was quick to return with a chuckle, the others cheered as well happy for the two siblings that their camp was here to stay for the foreseeable future. As they cheered Applejack and her siblings couldn't help but nod in a proud manner knowing that their longtime family friend/business associate made the right choice. Diamond Tiara however gritted her teeth in frustration that her father changed his mind about buying the camp ruining her secret plan completely. Soon the hug ended and Gloriosa looked around surveying the damage she caused.
"I'm so grounded when mom and dad see this" She said nervously but them Timber placed a hand on her shoulder.
"don't worry sis" Timber reassured. " I won't let that happen, We'll get it cleaned up before they come back next week I always got your back"
"Count us in too partner" Applejack jumped in.
"Yeah we'll help too darling" Rarity replied.
"We got your back guys!!!!" Indigo said and soon the other students, faculty, and even Mr rich pitched in to help clean up the mess. The siblings couldn't help but show their gratitude at the large number of volunteer's to assist in cleaning up the mess from Gloriosa's magic mayhem an hour ago.
"Thank's guys" Gloriosa said. " Your the best" Then Timber stepped up.
"Amen" He said with a smile. " Now come on ya'll! The sooner we get started the sooner we'll finish up just in time for the PARTY TONIGHT!!!!!!" The student's and faculty cheered in excitement and determination, with nothing left to say they soon got started with the cleanup.
One hour later
With everyone's help , the camp was now mostly back to it's normal state. It was alot of hard work but never the less everyone including Sunset contributed in the clean up process by clearing away debris, raking up the charred trees and plants, repositioning the flagpole, filling in the many craters, and bandaging up and giving medical assistance to the injured animals. As for the cabins Timber and Gloriosa assured that they would take care of it and stated that they'll simply tell their folks that a storm hit the camp while they were away. And soon enough the camp was now neat and tidy and it only took half an hour with the added thanks to the Rainbooms new abilities. The students were overjoyed from a job well done especially since it now meant that they could literally get this party started. As the students prepared themselves for the upcoming party and the performance's of both the Rainbooms and Flashes band, Applejack, Timber, and Gloriosa were seen having a conversation with Mr Rich who was about to depart back home along with his daughter.
"Ya'll sure ya don't wanna stay for the party Mr Rich?" Applejack asked.
"Thanks Applejack" He replied. " But I think we overstayed our welcome, besides the misses is probably going nuts after me being gone for a whole week" The three teens couldn't help but chuckle at his little remark.
"Well then, despite everything It was a pleasure to have you at our camp no our home Mr rich" timber said.
"Indeed " Gloriosa happily replied and then winked. " Anytime you want to relax or if your looking for a nice vacation spot for you and your wifes anniversary, come on down to camp everfree anytime Mr Rich"
"I'll definitely take you up on that kid" He said and then proceeded to take something out of his pocket. " But before I go this is for you guys" He then handed Gloriosa a piece of paper to which she was quick to recognize as a check, as she read the amount her jaw dropped when it read $100,000"
"Mr Rich!" Gloriosa said surprised. " We can't possibly...............................
"Nonsense!" He reassured. " It's the least I can do especially to make up for this week, use this to ensure that your camp stays healthy for years to come and to repair the damaged cabins" Saying this Mr rich winked as the siblings remained overjoyed at this amazing donation.
"This is wonderful" Timber said with joy.
"Thank you so much Mr Rich" Gloriosa replied.
"Your welcome. " Mr rich said happily and then turned to his limo. " Well i best be off, you guys have a nice afternoon. And Applejack I'll see ya at the Apple family reunion next month"
"I look forward to it, I'll see ya around Mr rich" Applejack replied and with that the four of them waved goodbye to eachother as Mr rich made his way towards his expensive vehicle, Diamond Tiara however didn't budge and instead had a few choice words of her own.
"DADDY!!!!!!" She said an an annoyed tone. " You can't be serious! This was a good opportunity to expand your empire, i can't believe that you would chicken at the last minute and give those two a check of 100k for a crappy camp to stay active a while longer...............
"That's enough young lady!!!!" He interrupted shutting the rich teen up . " I'm not taking away their home, I may love wealth but I am NOT a monster. I was a fool to listen to this bullshit idea of yours, did you honestly think that if I did go through it that i would reward you or something by taking you out of that boarding school that you hated?" Hearing this Tiara couldn't help but gulp nervously. " That's right I overheard your little motive last night while you were gossiping with Scarlet Blossom over the phone, I don't know what I'm gonna do with you young lady. You just get worse and worse, and this little plan of yours is prime example of how much of a bully you've become. That was really selfish of you Diamond, I hate to say this but your starting to turn into her" Tiara let out a loud gasp at the fact that her own father compared her to her real mother. " Now come along , we'll discuss this later" He then made his way towards the limo.
"But daddy......................
"Car NOW" He said firmly. Tiara decided that it was best to stay quiet out of fear of pissing her dad off even more, before she could make her way towards the limo she turned around and took one last look at the CMC's and Silver spoon having a friendly conversation with each other and couldn't help but scowl.
"This.....isn't ........OVER" She growled menacingly and with nothing else to say stomped furiously towards the limousine with a huff.
After the quick cleanup and bidding farewell to Filthy Rich, it was now time to get the festivities started. The students and staff made their way inside of the auditorium building as Flash and his gang tuned their instruments for their upcoming performance. The Rainbooms were about to follow suit as well as their instruments needed a quick tuning as well, however before they made their way inside something caught their eye. There sitting near the lake stood Sunset Shimmer staring blankly at her reflection looking as if she was recollecting her thoughts from either Anon a Miss or what transpired earlier. Not wanting to waste this opportunity the girls decided to take the leap of faith and walk towards the girl, after insuring the shadowbolts to go on ahead and that they'll be inside soon the six girls then made their way towards the fiery teen nervously. As Sunset continued to stare at her reflection, she soon sensed a presence standing behind her. In a split second she found her former friends plus Twilight standing over her trying their hardest not to act nervous or scared, their was an awkward silence for what felt like an eternity until Rainbow Dash finally broke the ice.
"Sunset" She began. " We're not here to apologize or anything as we know you don't wanna hear that. We just wanted to say thank you for the help with Gloriosa, I know you were only doing it as it was the right thing to do, but we still appreciate you backing us up and helping to strengthen our abilities and helping twilight overcome her fear of magic after that friendship games fiasco last month. So anyways thank you Sunset Shimmer for the help, we along with the entire student body appreciated your help with it all" After Dash finished her statement Sunset stood up and looked at the group, she then nodded a "no problem" To them before making her way towards her cabin as the group sadly watched her walk away from them for the millionth time. However as sunset was walking away, she failed to notice the oddly shaped stone right in front of her and in a split second the fiery teen tripped on the stone and fell down with a thud shocking the group.
"Sunset are you ok!? " Fluttershy asked as Sunset groaned in frustration as she collected herself.
"Yeah I'm fine" She replied. " I just tripped as all, stupid pebble" She then stood up and took the opportunity to survey the object that made her trip. a look of confusion formed on her face as she picked up the weird looking stone and inspected it. " What kind of stone is this?" But before she could say anything else, her look of confusion turned to shock as a weird glow began to emerge from the stone and in a split second a bright flash of light flashed straight into Sunset's face and she soon collapsed onto the ground with another thud. the group stared in shock as they witness their friend fall for the second time and were quick to rush over to her. They soon crouched down to her level as she finally came too while groaning a bit as she rubbed her forehead from the impact.
"Sunset are you alright darling?!" Rarity asked as Sunset managed to collect herself.
"yeah never better Rarity" Sunset said with a smile. " Hehe I should really pay attention more or I might crack my head like an egg next time if I'm not careful " As Sunset spoke the group were in shock at her state, while she remained unscathed her personality was another story. Sunset was smiling which surprised the group as she hadn't smiled for months after that Anon a Miss fiasco and has since harbored a cold demeanor. But now she was all happy and not looking the least bit pissed off, As they continued to look on in shock Sunset finally spoke.
"Uhhhhh are you guys ok?" She asked. " You all look like you've seen a ghost or something"
"Oh us it's nothing Sunset, just making sure you were ok is all" Fluttershy replied nervously. " But uh what do you remember before you tripped?"
" What do you mean?" Sunset asked.
" Just checking Sunset since you took a pretty nasty fall" Fluttershy continued . " Do you remember everything that's been going on these past few months and............................the Anon a Miss incident?" Saying this Sunset couldn't help but raise an eyebrow after hearing that name.
"Anon a Miss?" She said causing the group to look on with a nervous sweat, after a minute Sunset finally continued. " No i don't remember a person named Anon a Miss. What I remember is the Battle of the bands, the friendship games incident, befriending the Shadowbolts, saving the camp from the corrupted , and rescuing all of my friends. Wait was anon a Miss someone that we took care of a while back cause I don't recall ever meeting someone like that, but whoever she is I'm sure we took care of her thanks to the power of our friendship right? Hehe sheesh guys I trip on a pebble and ya'll are acting like i got amnesia or something " The groups looks of shock remained after hearing Sunset address them as friends, not former friends, not ex friends, but genuine friends. they looked at each other nervously and then nodded in unison.
"Uh Sunset?" Dash asked. " Would you excuse us for a second?"
"Uh sure dash" Susnet replied and then the group walked away to a safe talking distance and then got into a group huddle to discuss this weird occurrence.
"Ok fellah's something is clearly up" Dash said.
"I agree darling" Rarity replied.
"True dat, one minute Sunset was a big meanie and now shes a nice not meanie" Pinkie jumped in.
"Something is clearly wrong ya'll" Applejack said. " I think we can rule out the possibility that she forgave us as she would have said it herself instead of just being happy again, there's something fishy going on" As the group nodded in unison wondering what's up with sunset, Twilight was quick to give a hypothesis.
"Wait" she said earning the groups attention. " You guys don't think that stone she tripped on was some sort of memory erasing stone do you?" After hearing this Dash couldn't help but scoff.
"A memory erasing rock, really Twi? That's ridiculous!" Dash replied.
"I don't know Dash" Fluttershy said. " With all the magical items we've come across for a while, that actually kind of makes sense. Plus it did seem suspicious when that bright light emerged from the stone and flashed into Sunsets face"
"Yeah I guess your right Shy" Dash replied. " So what the stone just erased her memory of the Anon a Miss incident?"
"Look's like it partner" Applejack said.
"Well I think it's clear what we have to do now" Fluttershy replied. " We gotta fix this and get half of Sunsets memory back" The others nodded in unison except for Dash who had another idea in mind.
"Your right Shy we should" She said and then took a long pause before continuing. " Or we could..........................................
"Could what?" AJ Asked while raising an eyebrow.
"Not fix it" Dash said earning various looks from the group.
"WHAT!?" They all said trying not to yell loud enough for sunset to over hear them.
"Look fellah's this whole Anon a Miss incident been hitting us pretty hard these past few months" She continued. " But hey with it erased from Sunset's memory we can just put it behind us once and for all"
"And you think it's wise to manipulate and practically gaslight someone just to put an incident behind?" Applejack said.
"I agree" Fluttershy replied. " Out of all the crazy idea's you've come up with this has to be the most selfish one you've ever came up with!"
"That is true" Twilight jumped in. " I may not have been here during the Anon a Miss incident , but don't you think this is going a little too far Dash? Plus what would happen if Sunset got her memory back one day? How would you even explain it to her?"
"We'll cross that bridge when we get there " Dash replied. " Look guys I know this idea sounds insane and outright foolish. But after everything not just us but our sisters have been through can you honestly say that this isn't the only option available? Think about it how long do you guys think it'll take for sunset to forgive us? Plus after what she did to Fluttershy, Pinkie and not to mention that incident at her apartment, it's pretty obvious that we're not her favorite people ATM. And I don't blame her we were monsters, we shouldn't have jumped to conclusions so easily and because of it we might have lost a good friend of ours. Anon a Miss left a big rift in our friendship that seems like it wont go away for a long while, but now that the memory of Anon a Miss was erased from Sunsets memory maybe that's a good sign for us to start over and to actually befriend sunset and to treat her better and to not jump to conclusions so easily so that nothing like this ever happens again. I know it sounds like the cowards way out , but given how Sunsets reacted whenever we tried to apologize this might be the only way to get our friend back instead of taking the gamble that she'll forgive us in time, and god knows how long that's gonna take" After giving her little speech, the rest of the group remained speechless not knowing how to react to this crazy idea that Rainbow dash just came up with. While this still was a selfish act, they also knew that they missed having sunset around not knowing how long it would take for her to forgive them.
"Are we really considering this?" Rarity asked.
"Agreed , this is the biggest doozie in the history of doozies" Pinkie jumped in
"I miss Sunset just as much as the next guy but this sounds insane" Fluttershy replied and an awkward silence formed for a few seconds among the group until Applejack broke the ice.
"Well Guess there's only one way to settle this ya'll" She said and then proceeded to bring her arm forward and pull up her hand towards the group. " All in favor of erasing Anon a Miss forever, put your hand on mine" The group debated for a moment still unsure about this whole trick, but as Dash put her hand on Applejack's, coincidentally each member of the group including Twilight followed suit and put their hands on AJ's one by one evening the number of votes. with no one left to protest, the decision was final............................

"So we're really doing this? " Dash said as the group moved their hands away from each other.
"Yup" Applejack replied.

"Your secrets safe with me guys" Twilight said as the others nodded in unison. After reaching a verdict they made their way back towards their friend.
"Is everything alright guys?" Sunset asked as the others looked at each other nervously.
"Oh yes darling!" Rarity jumped in. " We were.....................just uh...................................DEBATING ON WHAT SONG TO SING DURING THE PARTY YEAH THATS IT!"
"Oh?" Sunset replied. " I see, well in that case how about we give that new song we've been working on " Shine like Rainbows " for a spin? I'm sure the audience would love it especially since we just perfected the right lyrics for it " The others gave a nervous nod as cold sweat formed n their faces.
"Shine like rainbows" Good thinking Sunset darling" Rarity said still sweating. " Everyone is gonna love that song, good choice"
"Awesome!" Sunset said happily and then stepped forward. " Now come on ya'll let's not keep the audience waiting any longer I'm ready to party!!!!!!" The rest of the rainbooms nervously nodded as they followed suit and headed towards the auditorium to get started on the party before departing back home the next morning. Dash however stayed behind and looked down to find the memory stone still laying on the ground where sunset once was, and in a split second she picked up the stone and after one last glace chucked it into the lake . After seeing it skip on the water three time, the magical stone finally sunk to the bottom of the lake as Dash looked on with a face full of regret and nervousness as she turned back and made her way towards her friends
