"That's a stupid-looking painting." Spike pointed at the painting of Celestia hanging on the wall. "Twilight, can I borrow the TV remote for a sec?"

Twilight didn't respond. Spike was talking to a purple broom.

"Thanks." Spike took the TV remote from the nearby table and chucked it at the painting of Celestia. A golden glow abruptly enveloped the remote.

"You thought I was a mere painting, didn't you?" the painting of Celestia boomed. Spike blinked.

The TV remote gently landed on top of Spike's head. "Here, have your TV remote back. You have clearly misplaced it."

"...Uh, thanks."
