I had been at CHS for a week. I made friends with the Sonic Rainbooms and that boy I met on my first day, Flash Sentry, wouldn’t stop bothering me. Bloody hell, why can’t that boy leave me alone?
Anyway, this morning, he came over to my house to ask me on a date. Obviously, I said no. I didn’t want him. He was nice, sure. But he wasn’t smart, well, smart enough for me. I wanted someone who was on the same wavelength as me, who could understand what I was talking about.
I pushed my glasses onto my nose. Would I ever find the right person for me?
I sighed. I walked into the band room.
“What’s up?” asked Rainbow Dash.
“Flash Fucking Sentry,” I snarled. “He keeps bothering the shit out of me.”
“Wow, you’re angry,” said Fluttershy in her softly spoken tone.
“He’s so stupid,” I continued. “Can’t he see I don’t want him? He’s good-looking and nice. Sure. But he’s dumb. Can you imagine? Me, the wife of that brainless boy?”
I sighed. “Maybe we should take you to the cellar,” said Rainbow Dash.
“Why?” I asked.
“You’ll see,” replied Rainbow Dash.
