Flurry Heart, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie are all in zip based baby onesies, and are just overall bouncing up and down because of their excitement for a slumber party. And as for King Sombra… he’s just sitting on the ground and frowning. Reason… ?
“Oh why did I let y’all talk me into giving me a makeover… . I thought we went over this… ?” Pinkie gigged a bit, and said; “sowwy… . But you gotta admit, it wooks weawwy nice on you.” Sombra smiled sarcastically, already having been made to look pretty with makeup and a girly princess outfit, and replied with; “aww really? And here I thought I was queen and not king… . Thanks!” Pinkie pouted a little, and then said; “weww you downt need two be so mean abouwt it… .”
Sombra sighs from starting to feel bad, gets rid of all the makeup on his face, and takes off the dress; since it was only just placed on him due to the infants not feeling comfortable with taking off his clothes for obvious reasons, and then replied with; “I’m not trying to, sorry.” Sombra sighs again to calm down, and then admits with a slight chuckle; “if I’m being honest, I think I’m experiencing cabin fever too… .” Rainbow then glared at Sombra before saying; “den why’d you make me feew bad den? It not nice.” Sombra sighs again, this time running out of a little patience, and then says; “like I said, I’m sorry… . Now can we please drop the subject? I really don’t wanna take my anger out on you… . Trust me… .” Both Pinkie and Rainbow nodded their heads and quickly resumed gathering up some plushies, pillows, and whatnot; remembering the last time Sombra got angry, and then nearly took down an entire restaurant just by punching holes in the walls from one of their day or night outs.
Sombra and the others are currently sitting in a circle, especially with Flurry Heart sitting on Sombra’s lap. Reason? She’s used to it. And by that, it means that she’s used to sitting on Shining’s lap for whenever there’s story time involved… . But since he’s not here, and out with his wife Cadence, she decided to have Sombra become her temporary story time chair for now… .
“Okay… .” Sombra clapped as he’s getting ready to tell the toddlers some stories. “What story would any of y’all like for me to read for y’all… ? Any suggestions?” The three toddlers all patted their chins in thought… . But soon eventually shook their heads no since they’re basically at a loss. Well… at least until… . “Oh oh oh! I got an idea!” Sombra looked as to where Flurry Heart was now sitting at, and then asked with a small chuckle, yet slight concern and stutter from all of the confusion that just occurred; “y-yeah kid? W-what would you like for me to read?” Flurry Heart started bouncing, and then replied with; “Gusty the Gweat!”
Snickering, Sombra asked; “you sure… ? It’s kinda for babies isn’t it… ? And besides; the story’s really old… . You don’t wanna listen to that old wise tale… . Trust me.. .” Flurry Heart then began to whimper, and then started bouncing up and down in frustration. Not wanting to have to deal with a cranky infant just yet, Sombra caved, and said; “grr fine! But that’s the last time I’m telling anypony that story!”
Rainbow Dash blinked at that statement, and asked; “you wead dat stowy befowre?” Sombra sighs, nods yes, and punched a crack on one of the crystal walls to show how frustrated he was. Not wanting to have to know what it’s like to be punched like that, Rainbow Dash held her hooves in front of her, and says; “it owkay… . We won’t teww you again… . Owkay?” Sombra nodded, and breathed a sigh to calm himself down. Rainbow Dash then sat down with a little wiggle to get comfortable; especially knowing the fact that she’s in a diaper, and then says; “weady… !” with a slight happy and or excited look to her face. With that, Sombra cleared his throat, and began telling them the story of Gusty the Great.
The story was just about to reach its climax, when suddenly Rainbow Dash started to look uncomfortable, and then covered the front of her diaper with her hooves; signifying that she needs to use the bathroom. Seeing this, Sombra closed the book, looked at her, and asked; “you okay there lil one? You didn’t get hurt did you?”
Pinkie went close to comfort her rainbow colored friend, and then replied with; “no… . I think she needs to go potty.” Sombra laughed at that response, and said; “wow hahaha! I never knew you could be so direct sometimes… .” Rainbow just growled at the both of them, and then replied; “pwease huwwy! I might have accident in diapee!” Sombra laughs some more, before replying back; “okay, okay… . Take it easy… . It’s fine.” Rainbow Dash just growled, and continued covering her diaper while also doing the potty dance. With that, Sombra picks up Rainbow Dash, and starts to leave the room with her so she could make it to the bathroom on time. But before that happened, Pinkie climbed onto Sombra, and looked at him with a smile. Sighing; Sombra says to himself; “I don’t get paid enough to do this… “ and then leaves the room.
As for Pinkie and Flurry Heart, they’re deciding on what there is to do for until they get back. Suddenly, they have an idea! Albeit, a not so good one at that… .
