But as soon as Sunset reached the door, she saw that there was no one inside the nursing area. However, even though she couldn't see anyone or anything, that didn't mean she couldn't hear things, as she heard a ruckus in the nursing room closet as if someone was thrashing from being tied up. After getting close to the closet door, Sunset gently knocked on the door. "Nurse Red-Heart, are you in there?" Sunset asked as she waited for whoever was inside to reply to her. Suddenly, as Sunset opened the door, she saw that Nurse Redheart was bound by a jump rope. "Nurse-Red Heart, what happened to you? Where's that girl?" Sunset asked while freeing Red-Heart from the jump rope. "Oh, just because that girl is delirious does not mean she's stupid," Red-Heart said. "She tricked me into going into this closet with a game of Jump-Rope, then she tripped me and tied me up with it." As soon as Nurse Red-Heart said that, Sunset knew exactly where the strange girl may have gone. So without another moment to spare, she went outside and headed towards that rickety grandfather clock out on the football field. As soon as Sunset got to the clock, she started hearing noises inside the police box, almost like someone was changing clothes. "Hey, what are you doing?" Sunset said. "You can't just tie up poor nurses, lock them in closets, and just go off willy-nilly." Suddenly, the girl's face appeared just when the doors opened slightly. "Can't, what do you mean can't, There's no such thing or word as can't." The Doctor replied, "Oh wait, can't is a word, but you know what I mean...Alright, it's been fun talking with you, Earth Girl whose hair looks like it should be served with scrambled eggs and toast, but I must be on my way, so...Cheerio." The doctor said this as she closed the doors. "Oh, WHAT DID SHE JUST SAY?" Sunset shouted, offended at the doctor's snarky remark. "Now you hold on just a minute. What are you even doing in there?" Sunset sneered as The Doctor opened the doors slightly again. "Changing," the voice said. "There are places to go, people to see, and historic books to read." Suddenly, the strange girl came out, who was wearing some kind of pirate outfit, complete with a hook-and-eye patch. Sunset then had a distasteful look on her face. "What?" the doctor said in a confused voice. "Do you honestly believe that I'm going to walk around town with you looking like that?" Sunset said with disdain. "Oh, alright then," The Doctor said as she went back in, only moments later to come out wearing an astronaut costume. Sunset this time shook her head no as the doctor then went back inside. Then she came out wearing a Civil War Union soldier outfit. "Are you even trying?" Sunset said. "Oh right, golly, what was I thinking?" the doctor said as she went back in time a third time. Then the doctor came out wearing a purple sweater, a white lab coat, grey long-sleeved pants, brown boots, and goggles on her head with messy hair. "Alright, that's...good enough," Sunset said with a nervous sweat. "Are you sure I can change again?" the doctor encouraged. "No, that's quite enough of the dress-up, because right now, I wanted to ask you a few questions," Sunset said, annoyed. "Oh, alright, ask away," the doctor said with a happy look on her face. "First of all, who or what are you? You were an old man with a long beard and a purple robe on when I first saw you," Sunset asked. "Oh, I've been called a vast collection of many names," the doctor said. "Some have called me The Sand-Man; many on the Borders of Mars have called me The Time-Lord Victorious. Some in the darkest trenches of the universe referred to me as the Valeyard." "There was one planet where there was a race of talking ponies with wings and horns and various things on their bottoms," the doctor said. "I remember that they used to call me Starswirl the Bearded; that's what they called me," the doctor said. "And they had a princess; maybe that's where I got the idea for this new incarnation of me." "But you can call me The Doctor," The Doctor said. "I'm a Time Lord, from the planet Gallifrey on the 2nd constellation of Kasterborous. "Doctor Who?" Sunset said. "No, just the doctor; my real name isn't important; it never was," the doctor said. "Oh, and about your question, I just simply draw energy off of the TARDIS," the doctor said. "Without it, I wouldn't have survived." "TARDIS," Sunset said, confused. "Yes, my Type-44 TARDIS. It stands for Time and Relative Dimensions in Space," the doctor said. "Now where were we? Oh yes, it's a little thing called regeneration; all time-lords can use it," the doctor said. "Well, we don't want to keep your principal waiting, so let's go back inside so you don't catch a cold in all this snow." As the Doctor and Sunset came back in, the Doctor saw a news bulletin on a TV that was hanging on one of the walls. "We interrupt this program to give you this shocking Canterlot News story," the anchor said. "Earlier today, a military base on the outskirts of the city was strangely destroyed by a blast of blue energy. Some of the survivors said that their base was under attack by a group of silver metal men." "Silver metal men, no, it couldn't be," the doctor thought to herself. "Our drones captured an image of one of these supposed metal men," The News Anchor said as the screen zoomed into the picture the drones had captured. The blood in the doctor's veins ran cold when she saw the image of the machine monster's face. Sunset noticed the doctor's reaction. "Doctor, what's wrong?" "No, no, no, not them, not anyone but them," the doctor said in fear. "Sunset, you need to listen to me," the doctor said to Sunset. "You need to run away, far away from this place. Because if they catch you, they will capture you and convert you into one of them, a soulless, emotionless machine monster; all of your emotions will be removed; your ability to feel pain or remorse will be stripped away; and everything that makes you human will be snuffed out and replaced with cold machine-like logic." "And when you've been converted, they'll force you to do horrible, terrible things, like destroy cities or convert your loved ones," the doctor said. Oh, I've been so careless with you; they may have seen you with me." The doctor said "Now do as I tell you, run away and never look back. They never tire, they are ruthless, and they will never stop hunting you," the doctor said. "Run from what?" Sunset said. "The Cybermen...run from the Cybermen," the Doctor responded. "Wait, if you said that they may have seen me with you, then that must mean..." The very thought made Sunset panic. "They're at home." Sunset then bolted towards the location of her home. "NO, STOP, IT'S TOO DANGEROUS," the doctor shouted as she chased after them. But what Sunset would see next would change her—for all the absolute worst outcomes.
