In the caves, everyone raced back to Uka Uka's location. And soon, all three teams made it back. And surprisingly, they found Uka Uka waiting for them.
"About time you all got here." Uka Uka said.
"Guess you weren’t kidding, Aria." Adagio noted.
"That he's a jerk?" Aria asked.
"Yeah, that, and that we were getting those bones for him in order for him to help us, distasteful as that may be." Adagio answered.
"Like I'm happy to see any of you." Uka Uka scoffed.
"You sure you're not adopted, Aku Aku?" Crash asked.
"No." Aku Aku answered.
"Let's just go take down Cortex while we still have the element of surprise." Tawna pointed out.
"Well, I’ll hold up my end of the deal and give you and all of your friends a boost for the battle against Cortex. And I’m certain you’re find your portal to the space head station in the Doominator near the bandicoot’s house. And I’d advice bringing all of your friends, because when Cortex actually has a good idea for an evil plot, he’s serious." Uka Uka informed as his bones were tied up and back to hanging on his horns.
"Alright. You better leave now while we're feeling generous." Crash warned.
"Tch! I’m already gone." Uka Uka scoffed before he teleported away.
"I hate that mask." Sonata hissed.
"Ditto." Adagio and Aria agreed.
"Come on everyone. There's a villain that needs a beating. So let's give it to him." Mikey pointed out.
"Yeah!" Pinkie cheered as of later, everyone arrived back at Crash's house with them and rest of their friends rested and ready for a fight.
"Everyone ready for a fight?" Crash asked as everyone else shouted in agreement. "Leo, you mind me explaining the plan?"
Leo respected Crash too much to say 'No.' "Alright Crash."
"Here's what's going to happen. Me, Mikey, Pinkie, Sonata, and Dingodile are going after Cortex. Everyone else cause as much damage to the place as you can." Crash informed.
"Okay. But we’ll help you fight Cortex if needed." Karai said.
"I understand, but all of you need to keep the guards occupied while we fight Cortex. Slip away if you can, but you need to make sure that base is destroyed. Am I understood?" Crash asked.
"Got it." Twilight responded.
"Yep." Sunset said as everyone else agreed and jumped through the portal.
Meanwhile Dr. Cortex was basking in his assumed victory. "Muhahahahahahahahahaha!!!" Soon the alarm sounded, breaking his concentration. "What now?!" Dr. Cortex growled as he watched on the monitors, seeing the heroes going nuts destroying his station. "Oh, come on!!!"
But neither him nor the guards noticed Crash and his party weren't doing any damage other than bashing lackeys.
"Come on, guys. We've got a doctor's appointment to go see." Crash quipped.
"Yep." Sonata agreed.
"Right behind you, buddy!" Dingodile said as he was shooting some guards while he and the rest of Crash's group were given plenty of cover as they rushed forward.
"Were would you be without me?" Tawna asked while whacking a Snipe.
"Dead?" Crash retorted with a coy smile
"You know it." Tawna agreed with the same smile before she kissed Crash among the carnage, with the hero kissing her back.
"*Squeal!* So cute!" Rarity adored in awe.
"Come on, lover boy." Dingodile reminded as he grabbed Crash.
"Right. Cortex first, then love." Crash responded.
"Hehehe! Maybe you and Tawna can have some personal private fun when this whole thing’s over." Crunch mischievously suggested as Crash tried to ignore that remark.
"He’s got you there, bro." Coco admitted.
"No shame in admitting it." Mikey agreed as it didn't take long for Crash and his group to arrive at Cortex's control room.
"Well, hello Cortex." Aku Aku greeted.
"I can’t believe you nitwits are trying to ruin my plans again! I mean, seriously? Don’t you have lives? Get a hobby! Woodworking, crocheting, something!" Dr. Cortex suggested.
"Beating up bad guys like you is a hobby." Pinkie quipped.
"You got that right, sister." Sonata agreed as the two kunoichi fist-bumped each other.
"You blew up my diner, and I'm getting some back pay, or should I say payback!" Dingodile growled.
"I’m not taking any chances with that diner of yours after that encounter with the other you!" Dr. Cortex responded.
"Seriously?! I got a A+ from the Health Inspector!" Dingodile pointed out.
"Whatever!" Dr. Cortex scoffed.
"There’s nowhere left to run, Cortex! It’s just you, versus Crash, Mikey, Pinkie, Sonata and Dingodile!" Aku Aku said.
"Good. Because I want to settle all this, villian to heroes! I am going to beat you all, with my bare hands!" Dr. Cortex declared as he opened his lab coat, before trying to look powerful with some poses. But that pathetic pose made the five heroes fall onto the floor laughing.
"Oh no! Look out guys! Mr. Hundred Pounds’ gonna get ya!" Aku Aku mocked, only making the five heroes laugh harder.
"Seriously, if you were any danger physically, you wouldn't have needed me and the others!" Dingodile laughed.
"Hahahaha! It’s… Hahahahaha! Too… Hahahahahaha! Much!!! Hahahahahahahahaha!!!" Pinkie roared, unable to control her laughter.
"I think I'm going to throw up!" Sonata laughed.
"In laughter that is! Hahahahahahahaha!!!" Mikey added while Crash laughed in gibberish.
"All of you stop laughing! I'm serious! I’m going to slam some heroes!" Dr. Cortex declared as he then started doing karate moves with karate noises.
"Right. Guys, beat him up so we can go home." Aku Aku said as the five heroes then calmed down and stopped laughing.
"You got it." Crash responded.
"Oh! Did I forget to mention I was going to cheat? I’ve got some of N. Brio’s mutation formula here to even the odds." Dr. Cortex pointed out as he brought out a vile of N. Brio's original mutagen.
"Uh-oh." Dingodile dreaded.
"CORTEX, DON'T DRINK THAT!" The Goofball trio shouted, but Dr. Cortex drank it anyway, much to the heroes horror, but nothing happened as Cortex spat out some of it in disgust.
"Ew! Tastes like peppermint barf! Ooh… Hmm… There’s a hint of-" Dr. Cortex started to notice before he froze as he dropped the vile. His eyes started looking a bit red, his mouth started drooling while Cortex started growling. He then started growing, ripping his coat, a glove, a shoe, and his pants. He became bigger and more muscular, before his mutation became complete as Cortex roared!
"Just to make it a fair fight." Crash said as he grabbed his Bokken Sword and Goalie Stick.
"Dude, you’re saying N. Brio would’ve ended up like that?" Mikey asked.
"Little bit." Crash answered.
"Incoming!" Pinkie shouted as Cortex started spinning up a tornado, leaving no open spots for the heroes to attack while shooting purple energy balls.
"Dingo, throw me on top of him!" Sonata said.
"Let me give ya a boost then!" Dingodile responded as he sucked in Sonata and shot her high into air.
"Time for a headache, Cortex!" Sonata declared as she dived down through the air and grabbed onto Cortex’s head, making him notice and stop spinning.
"Oh no, you don’t!" Cortex said as he somehow managed to throw Sonata off of him. "I see the full protection’s not going to work. So I’ll clobber you the old fashioned way!"
"Just makes it more fun!" Crash quipped as he did his Twister Attack on Cortex, only making the evil scientist stumble a bit.
"I won’t be easy to be made dizzy!" Cortex pointed out.
"Good thing we work together like a well-oiled machine." Mikey pointed out as he kicked Cortex in the back of the head.
"Ow! Not my cranium!" Cortex said as Crash then hit him with his weapons.
"Best thing about having ninjas as my best friends is that they teach me some moves!" Crash quipped.
"Gah! Darn you, Crash Bandicoot!" Cortex cursed.
"Oy, I've been wanting to do this for years." Dingodile said as he started firing at Cortex.
"I'm going to enjoy squashing you, traitor." Cortex growled as Dingodile drew his fire and water pistols.
"Psych!" Dingodile said before he ducked as Pinkie kicked Cortex, causing him to stumble into his machinery.
"Ow!" Cortex yelped while Crash and friends noticed the station losing power. "I’m not through yet!"
"Guys! We gotta stun him!" Crash informed while Dingodile loaded his blaster.
"Leave that to me!" Dingodile responded as he fired a lackey at Cortex, giving his friends the chance they needed.
"I got it!" Crash said as he got on top of Cortex with Aku Aku. "I am so going to enjoy this!"
"No! Not the face!" Cortex whimpered before Crash took control of his Arch-enemy.
"We got company!" Mikey said.
"Don’t worry! We’ll knock them out!" Crash responded.
"Agreed!" Aku Aku added.
"My body! I can’t control it!" Cortex said in fear as Crash made him swat his lackeys away before destroying more of the machinery.
"Hey! I wonder what this button does." Sonata noticed as she pushed a button, making a purple place with black swirls on it rise from the ground in the middle of the area. "That wasn't me!"
"Sonata, I think you’re onto something!" Crash realized.
"Really?" Sonata asked.
"Yeah! And I’ll get Cortex to do something I haven’t made him done in a long time." Crash answered.
"No! Not that! Please!" Cortex pleaded.
"This should be good!" Dingodile said as Crash made Cortex go to the spiral circle and made Cortex spin like a bandicoot, while the platform slowly turned into a pillar as it rose higher and higher.
"Hope this works." Pinkie noted, pushing another button as the pillar reached its peak, causing a brown skull button with red eyes and nose to appear from the ground.
"Now what?" Mikey asked.
"I know!" Crash said.
"Wha-What do you think you’re doing?!" Cortex whimper before Crash then made Cortex jump off the pillar and belly flop on the skull button, while knocking the evil scientist out cold.
"Wish I brought my camera." Dingodile noted before a few seconds later, Cortex woke up, and started sobbing, throwing a tantrum.
"It’s not fair! It’s not fair!" Cortex whined as his pounding the ground causes the ship's controls to spark and malfunction. He tears the steering wheel off of its mount and breaks it in half. "I want to win! It’s my turn! Been trying for flipping years!" Cortex continued whining as he threw the two halves of the steering wheel at the five heroes, who dodged it.
"Uh oh, guys! I think he broke something!" Aku Aku dreaded.
"EVACUATE, EVERYONE!" Crash shouted before the mutagen that Cortex drank wore off, restoring him back to normal.
"Oh no! What did I do?! Where are my pants?!" Dr. Cortex asked before a Znu minion eating a sandwich came out of a nearby bathroom. "It was you! Ugh… No time to deal with that now. Disgusting freak!" Dr. Cortex groaned in disgust before he pressed a button, sending him and the minion into an escape pod as it left the falling space station.
Crash and everyone braced themselves for a rough landing, as the Space Head Station crashed right on Wumpa Island, miraculously causing no damage, and everyone on it surviving without a scratch.
"I can’t believe we’re okay!" Aku Aku said in amazement.
"A lot better than Cortex is going to be." Raph responded as he pointed to Cortex's pod spiraling out of control.
"Well, all of us did a great job, mostly you five." Leo said.
"Wow! We’re really getting a lot of this evil junk all over the place!" Crunch noticed.
"We’re still not gonna clean up." Coco responded.
"I know, Coco. I know." Aku Aku said before Crash, the goofball trio and Dingodile started laughing.
Meanwhile, Cortex climbed out of his pod to see Tiny and the others glaring at him. "I hate that bandicoot." Dr. Cortex thought before the next thing he knew he was getting beaten up by his former henchmen and beating handed resignation letters.
