"Hello there, young sir. I gather you're looking for a certain assortment of cards?"
My attention, which was directed at first to the massive assortment of booths that had a wide variety of card games on sale, is soon taken to that of a man in what seemed to be what a Code Master from the 4Kids cartoon series Chaotic would wear.
"Huh. Didn't expect to meet a Code Master outside a battle drome." The man chuckles at my joke, gesturing for me to come to his booth.
"I can now guess from how you knew of my status that you're looking for some unique scans. Am I correct?"
Scans, for those of you out there who don't know, are basically the unique Code each card has. Also if you get duplicate scans of one creature, not one scan is identical to the other stat-wise.
"I'd like to try and get every creature, battle gear, and mugic I can find, honestly." I sigh as I knew this was indeed a major unlikely possibility. However, the 'Code Master' seems to chuckle and opens a case I never noticed before.
"I could help you with that. While I would suggest not using the Danian creatures, you are free to use these as you see fit if you wish to purchase this collection of mine."
I look over the case, seeing a whole assortment of pages with Chaotic cards! Each creature had crazy stats, and they all seemed to be in mint condition. Almost like they just came off the production line...
"I am willing to offer a good price if you have it. Say...... $1.5 thousand?"
Surprised by his offer, I nod my head vigorously as I had exactly that much. Handing him my briefcase of cash, he offers me what seems to be a replica of a code scanner from the TV show also.
"Now, I am very happy you like your purchase. Now, be safe on your journey.... Perim Shifter." Says the Code Master, and that is when I finally have the red flags fly.
How did he know my old Chaotic Online CN (Code Name)?
Before I could ask him, I get enveloped in a bright light and then.... darkness.

"-do you think this strange creature is okay?"
I must be hearing things. Either that or I am being looked over by some woman who has never seen a human before...
"I do not know, my dear. I think it is best we inform the King and Queen as soon as possible"
King and Queen? Am I in some deep dream where I meet royalty or something?
I try to open my eyes, only to groan in pain as the light causes me to flinch slightly from its brightness. This clearly catches the attention of the two who were talking over me. I hear a sudden "eep" as well as shuffling like in a forest. Once my eyes finally adjust, I look around and see I am apparently in a dense forest.
Okay, don't freak out. You apparently were dragged outside after passing out at the convention from getting so many cards and being called by your old Code Name from Chaotic Online. Now, where are those two-
As I look to the area I heard the shuffling from, I see two humanoid beings. I say humanoid because while they were bipedal, they had more pony-like features for their faces, had hooves for feet, a tail on their butts, one had a horn on his forehead while the other had wings on her back.
Correction. Now is a time to panic.
And panic I did by screaming bloody murder.
