*Lillian's POV*


It was a beautiful day in Ponyville. I was hanging out with my friends.

But then I saw Twilight and some of the others playing with their pets.

Despite her pregnancy, Danyelle was playing with Smith.

And honestly, I felt like having a pet of my own.

Danyelle asks "Didn't you get a pet cat the same day I got Smith?"

Yuki was brushing Toto's feathers with a special brush.

I spoke "Oh right, my bad."

A yellow tabby chakat limped out of a bush, hir fur was very tangled and matted.

Blizzardstar spoke "Rares, we might need to take that one to the spa..."

Rarity spoke "Hmm… You might be-"

the chakat spoke "Nah, I all good here. Although I could eat some lasagna."

Danyelle spoke "Oh Amaterasu no.... Shi's distantly related to that fat cat, Garfield..."

That made my face pale. “Please tell me your joking!”

The ponies were all confused as to what Danyelle had said.

Danyelle spoke "I'm not joking... And Yellowstripe's not a normal cat-taur. There's a big difference between chakats and normal taurs."

“And for some reason, hir father’s a Mobian, who is a second cousin twice removed of Garfield’s mother, while hir mother is a Chakat.” I added.

Danyelle spoke "Weird....."

“That’s what I said.” I agreed.

Danyelle asks "But isn't Garfield 43 years old?"

“Yes, but Yellowstripe is the baby cousin.” I answered.

Danyelle groans "Not to mention.... that fatso's birthday is in three days.... And Pinkie's hyper again...."

“You’re telling me.” I agreed.

Danyelle groans "With two... no three birthdays coming up fast... It's hard to control her."

“Something’s telling me we should let this be.” I suggested before I realized something. “Wait, did I just sound like Zecora?”

Danyelle spoke "I swear you're spending time with her!"

“Sorry.” I apologized.

Danyelle spoke "I'm sorry too, stupid mood swings..."

“Yeah, pregnancy’s getting to ya.” I said.

What sounded like a mix of a wolf howl and eagle screech was heard as an unknown creature flew overhead.

Twilight shouts "What... the hay... was that?!?"

A familiar fat cat was on the back of the creature before shoving off a Mobian dog.

The fat cat spoke "Sorry, Odie, but this is my ride."

Danyelle calls out "HEY GARFIELD! THAT WASN'T VERY NICE!!!"

Garfield spoke "Oh, buzz off."

Blaze spoke "Wait... I know that creature... That's my Beast-lord, Millie!"

Millie spun around, throwing Garfield off before landing behind Blaze before the lilac cat pets her.

Blaze spoke "Serves you right tubby, picking on another for no reason. I'm ashamed that I'm even related to you."

Rainbow spoke "Hey Fluttershy, I want to talk to you. I want a pet."

That made Fluttershy gasped in pure excitement.

Silverstorm groans "I sense a song coming on...."

“Wait, since when did you become Pinkie Pie?” I asked.

Silverstorm spoke "don't ask...."

Silverstorm ruffles hir wings a bit.





*Later…*


Rainbow spoke "I still can't decide..."

Silverstorm chose the falcon as hir new pet.

Rainbow spoke "I want a pet that's as awesome as that creature that Blaze has."

“Whoa! Hold on! Are you sure about that?” I asked in concern.

Blaze spoke "Taming a beast-lord isn't easy though... They are wild animals, dangerous too. One of my ancestors lost three fingers because of one."

Rainbow spoke "Maybe you're right Blaze. As awesome as it is, it's still dangerous... Only the most bravest can handle one."

“Please don’t tell me you’re gonna…?” Danyelle assumed.

Rainbow spoke "I'm not going to go near one, that's suicide though."

That made me and Danyelle sigh in relief.

Blaze spoke "If the fatso hadn't brought Millie here, the discussion would have been different."

Garfield spoke "Hey, I needed a ride."

Blaze asks "Did you even ask my father first?"

Garfield spoke "Too much of a hassle."

Blaze strikes her five time removed cousin across the face.

Blaze hisses "That's for not asking AND being a prick to Odie! Plus Millie only lets me on her back though."

Garfield snaps "Ow! Hey! What gives?!"

Garfield’s teeth and claws somehow grew sharper and longer as he growled like a tiger.

Millie growls as fire swirls around Blaze.

Blaze growls "Listen here fatso! I'M YOUR PRINCESS AND IF I SAY STAND DOWN, YOU DO AS I SAY!!"

Garfield knew this would mean trouble and stood down.

Garfield scoffs "Meh, would’ve been a drag, anyway."

Blaze spoke "This is why I never invited you to Christmas gatherings..."

Silverstorm asks "Has anyone seen Rainbow?"

Yellowstripe spoke "Oh, she’s over there, trying to find out which pet is best for her."

Danyelle spoke "I have a bad feeling about this...."

“You and me both.” I agreed.

Danyelle's clairvoancy kicks in suddenly.

Danyelle thinks "Avalanche.... Rainbow's hurt... Tank the Tortoise...."

"Something wrong?" I asked.

Danyelle spoke "Just a vision, nothing more."

Danyelle's wings shot up on end due to a sharp kick.

“I’m guessing your kid saw that too.” I theorized.

Danyelle spoke "Her powers won't develop until after she's born."

“I’m just saying.” I reassured.

Danyelle spoke "She's a feisty girl, just like me."

“Maybe she’ll be a mini you.” I teased.

Putting me in a headlock, Danyelle gives me a noogie.

Danyelle spoke "I can say the same about your daughter."

“Hey!” I pouted as I struggled to break free, playing with Danyelle as if we were sisters.

Danyelle tickles me relentlessly.

“Hahahahahaha!!! Stop it!!!” I pleaded.

Danyelle spoke "Fine."

Blaze was up on Millie's back as she watched the race.

Blaze spoke "The tortoise is certainly trying its best."

Danyelle spoke "Yeah, slow and steady wins the race. Every Mobian knows that."

Danyelle's eyes shimmer suddenly.

Danyelle spoke "There's been an avalanche!"

“Wait, what?!” I gasped.

Zoey asks "What should we do?"

Sakura spoke "We have to help her!"

Danyelle spoke "Sit girls!"

Both females freeze.

“We’ll probably need to see how this turns out.” I suggested.

Zoey spoke "True..."

But then Sakura noticed something that angered her.

Sakura spoke "That idiot!"

“What is it, Sakura?” I asked.

Sakura spoke "Remember that avalanche? Rainbow Dash is the one that caused it!"

Corina groans "For the love of...."

Using the binoculars, Renee spoke "Hold it everyone! I see something!"

Danyelle looked in the distance and saw something that made her jaw drop in disbelief.

Corina spoke "No feathering way... It's the tortoise! And it's carrying something on its back!"

Danyelle exclaims "And I know who. It’s Rainbow Dash!"


*After Twilight had moved the finish line closer for the tortoise*


Nazuna asks "Are you okay Rainbow?"

Rainbow spoke "Yeah. Just my wing."

Michiru spoke "And your pride but you'll get that back."

Nazuna spoke "Michiru!"

Michiru asks "What?"

Rainbow Dash chuckles "Heh! Up for a race when I’m ready to fly again?"

Nazuna spoke "Oh it is ON!"

Later, the gang plays with their pets.
