Princess Twilight Sparkle awoke in her bed in the Castle of Friendship. She looked around noticed that Spike wasn’t in his bed.
‘He must be making breakfast,’ Twilight thought as she got out her bed. She walked to the door and was greeted by her student, Starlight Glimmer.
“Good morning Twilight,” Starlight greeted her teacher and friend.
“Good morning Starlight,” Twilight replied, “are you heading to the dining room?”
“Yes,” Starlight answered, “I think Spike is making breakfast.”
“Come on then,” Twilight said as she and Starlight walked down the crystal halls of her castle. Then soon came to the dining room and sat down. They didn’t have to wait long before Spike came in with plates pilled with pancakes.
“Good morning you two,” he greeted them as he placed the pancakes down in front of them.
“Ooh, Spike these smell delicious,” Starlight commented.
“Thanks,” Spike replied. Twilight and Starlight started to eat.
“So what’s the plan today Twilight?” Starlight asked.
“Well we’ve got some errands to run,” Twilight said, “then we can go to see hang out with the girls.”
“That’s fine,” Spike remarked as he took a bite of his breakfast.
With breakfast over, Twilight, Starlight and Spike left the castle to start their errand runs. They looked around and watched as all the residents were going about their daily lives. Then they looked up at the sky, just in time to catch Rainbow Dash flying by and leaving her trademark rainbow streak. After seeing the three below, Rainbow Dash quickly changed direction and came to a soft landing before them.
"Hey Twilight," Rainbow Dash greeted happily, "Hey Spike, hey Starlight."
“Hey Rainbow,” Starlight replied.
"Hi Rainbow Dash," Twilight Sparkle smiled, "What's up?"
"Just on my way over to Sugarcube Corner,” she replied, “Pinkie's got some new recipes for cupcakes she wanted me to try out."
"Does she now?" Twilight inquired.
"By any chance it's got gems?" Spike drooled.
".... Maybe," Rainbow turned in Sugarcube Corner's direction, "So whaddya say? You game?"
Spike was about to answer, when Twilight quickly replied, "Sorry Rainbow, but we have some errands to run before we can hang out with you girls.”
“Suit yourself,” Rainbow said as she blasted off into the sky.
But just as she was out of sight, Twilight could hear the sound of loud buzzing. The three looked up to see the sky being clouded by an army of changelings.
"What's happening?" Spike asked.
Then, before the changelings and all the ponies, stood the leader of the changelings, Queen Chrysalis. But she looked different. Her wings seemed bigger, she had green armour and her twisted horn was also green and faded into the black of her body.
"Citizens of Ponyville!" she said in a booming voice that's almost as loud as Princess Luna's Canterlot voice. "I, your new ruler and the League of Darkness, shall be taking over Equestria. But, I'll be a fair queen, and I listen to the ponies. Those who do not want me to be queen of Equestria, raise your hooves."
All of the citizens of Ponyville instantly raised their hooves up.
“What a shame,” Chrysalis said before commanding her army over the hivemind, "GET THEM!!"
And less than six minutes, everypony were all captured. Twilight, Spike and Starlight were all hiding in an alleyway, the three of them felt very scared. They had to watch her friends get captured one by one, as she ran for cover.
"What are we going to do?!" Twilight muttered under her breath.
"Twilight," Starlight said trying to calm her friend down. "This isn't a battle we can win. You know that. She’s captured everypony and it’s just us three."
"But even you know we can't let Chrysalis take over Ponyville and all of Equestria," Twilight growled.
"We won't," Starlight explained, "But we can't stop her without a plan."
"Ok, you're the egghead," Spike began, "What's your plan? Or do you even have one?"
While they were talking a changeling drone found them and using its magic teleported the four out the alley and into the open.
“What happened?!” Spike shouted but before she or anyone could say anything else, they’ve noticed that Chrysalis was staring at them with fiery eyes and the devil’s smile.
“Changelings attack!” The Changeling Queen commanded.
Suddenly, a green portal materialized behind them, and two vehicles came racing out. Twilight sort of recognize them for the human world but what happened next no one expected it. The green jeep suddenly transformed into robotic-like being, which in turn started firing at the changelings. Shooting them down like duck hunting.
“What’s happening here?” Spike said confused.
The second vehicle, a yellow car, drove up and stop next to the three. The passenger door open and in the driver’s seat sat the last pony Twilight could think of. Or should that be person.
“Get in now!” Sunset Shimmer yelled which the three wasted no time and jumped in. Spike and Starlight quick scrambled to the back seats, and the car sped of back to the portal.
“Sunset? What are you doing here? How are still human? Why are there giant transforming robots? Why…” Twilight was cut off by a finger on her snout.
“Don’t worry Twilight,” Sunset replied with a chuckle, “Your questions will be answered.”
What about the rest of our friends?” Spike asked, “Can we not go back and get them?”
“Sorry Spike but it’s too late for that,” Sunset answered with sadness in her voice.
The green jeep bot started to run back still shooting the changelings down.
“Hold on!” Sunset called out as the yellow car drove back through the portal.
Changeling drones shot forward after them. As the green robot went through the portal, it close behind him. As a result, the Changelings missed and landed on the ground with a thud.
Chrysalis gave an angry snarl as a Changeling brought her a chair and with her magic, Chrysalis slammed the chair on the changeling’s head.
“You’re all useless,” Chrysalis expressed as she flew off.
The car and robot came running out the other side of the portal that brought them there. Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, Starlight, and Spike got out of the car as it transformed into a robot as well. Then, green one spoke which the ponies and dragon were not expecting.
"Wow that was wild," The robot said. "like shotting cyberducks in a barrel. I’m glad that we’re back at home-base."
“I wasn’t expecting that,” Starlight remarked as she looked
“Optimus, we’re back, and we got the ponies!” the yellow one shouted.
Soon, a giant red and blue robot came walking in follow by a group of colour characters of different shapes and sizes. One group was led by a boy with green hair. Brown robotic bear led another. A group was led by a girl in a ladybug outfit, another by a boy in a pink jumper and black t-shirt with a star on it, another group by a human wearing red and blue overalls and another by a blue hedgehog.
"Greetings, I mean you no harm," The giant robot spoke with a deep but soothing voice, “I am Optimus Prime, Leader of the Autobots and welcome to the Union of Light.”
The leaders of the other groups came forward to greet Twilight.
“H-Hello,” Twilight greeted, feeling a little nervous, “I’m Twilight Sparkle.”
The boy with green hair reached out a hand to Twilight, she placed a hoof in the boys grip, and they shook. “Nice to meet you Twilight,” he said kindly, “I’m Izuku Midoriya, but you can call me Deku if you want.”
“You may call me Ladybug, to keep my identity a secret,” said the girl in the ladybug suit.
“I’m-a Mario,” said the plumber.
"I'm Sonic," the blue hedgehog said as he came up next to Mario and gives the ponies and dragon a thumbs up, "Sonic the hedgehog."
“Hey, my name is Steven,” said the other boy.
“And I’m Freddy Fazbear,” said the bear.
Twilight smiled, but that smile changed to a frown when she three girls at the back of the room she hoped never to see again, “What are you three doing here?” She asked angrily while pointing at the Dazzlings. Everyone turned to look at them.
As the leader of the trio, Adagio Dazzle stepped forward to confronted to Princess of Friendship.
“Well Twilight Sparkle,” she began, “we found Sunset Shimmer in a fast food place alone because her friends abandoned her due to this Anon-A-Miss thing so as she helped us let go of the evil, which was holding on to us, we decided to help her.”
Twilight turned to Sunset who had start to cry just by thinking of what her friends had said. Twilight walked up to her, Sunset waste no time and wrapped her arms around Twilight in an embrace.
"Okay," called out a medic themed robot named Rachet, before he brought everyone to a huge computer screen as Optimus Prime Started, "All right, everyone. Now that you're all here, I will bring you up to speed on what's happening. It all started with Wheeljack’s latest invention, the Universal Portal Machine. It's a device that lets us travel to other worlds."
The computer later shows an image of a big grey bot with a large gun on his arm. "Megatron had sent his seekers to our base the Ark and stole the machine. Me and the Autobots have been tracking the portal and discovered that he's been visiting your worlds."
The computer shows other villains. One of them was Queen Chrysalis. Another was a human with a hand covering his face, this was Tomura Shigaraki. The next was a fat man, wearing a red coat, black pants, a pair of goggles, and a moustache named, Dr Eggman. There was a bright green woman with an emerald gem in her eye, Emerald. Another one was a man in a mask and business looking suit and had a cane and feathered fan, Shadow Moth There was silver beaver named, Chipper’s Revenge. And the last was a dragon-like monster with spiked shells, and orange hair named, Bowser.
Optimus continued, "And in every world he's been to, he's found a friend, and they've teamed up to form the League of Darkness. It seems that he has used what is called Angolmois Energy, the disembodied lifeform the dark god, Unicron. And what is worst, is we just recently found out that he’s used it on your friends."
Horrified faces dawned everyone in the room, as the computer shows The League’s troops and everyone's enemies corrupting their friends, from Shadow Moth turning Ladybug’s friends evil to Bowser corrupting Mario’s brother and girlfriend.
"I’m sorry you had to see that,” Optimus replied as he continued, “they've combined their powers to create an army of Darkness, and they're stealing energy from each of your worlds. We don't know why they're stealing this energy, but whatever it's for, it won't be good! A good guess would be that they’ll trying to revive Unicron."
"Don't be a such a science nerd," a light blue bunny named Toy Bonnie said. "When you think about it. This is amazing. It's like one of me and my friends' fantastic adventures and missions."
"Toy Bonnie, this is a lot more serious than you and your friend’s adventures" Sonic said, "I thought about adventures the same as you do. And it almost got Sally killed. And now, our friends, families and homes lost their magic because of the League of Darkness, and they won't be able to do anything until we stop the League of Darkness!"
"Sonic's right Toy Bonnie" Optimus Prime said, "We must work together to stop the League of Darkness. I know we've each defeated these guys before. That's why we brought you all here. If we combine our knowledge, we can beat them."
“So will you all help us?” Rachet asked out to everyone.
The room was filled with a loud ‘yes’ as everyone shouted it at the same time.
“Good,” Optimus nodded with a smile, “But first you’ll need something to eat and then some sleep. I’ll pair you into groups so you can get to know each other better.”
Meanwhile, high above in space, millions, and millions miles away from earth was Megatron’s ship, the Nemesis. inside of the ship, the leader of the decepticons Megatron walked to the bridge. His footsteps echoed down the halls, he entered the bridge and his dark generals turned and bowed to him.
“All hail Megatron!” they mindless declared as walked passed them.
“How was your mission, Commander Chrysalis,” Megatron spoken in a deep voice, with his back turned to them.
“I captured all of Canterlot and Ponyville and soon all of Equestria will be ours my Lord,” Chrysalis replied revoltingly, “But…”
“But?” the Leader of the Decepticons repeated.
“But three got away with those Autobots,” She replied hoping that Megatron would spare her.
Megatron smirked and turned continued to look out the window.
“It-it won’t happen again sir,” Chrysalis replied with nervousness.
“So, Prime has built a time to try and defeat me,” Megatron said quietly, “you all can start taking over wherever you want now.”
The Dark General left one by one to take over their respected worlds. Just as Chrysalis left, Megatron’s second in command, Starscream came into the room.
“Lord Megatron,” he slyly said.
“What is it Starscream?” Megatron spoked up.
“I’m not saying your plan was a bad idea,” he told him, “but why do we need to corrupt the heroes from the other worlds?”
“Because their friends won’t be able to attack them,” Megatron replied.
“Ah of course,” Starscream sniffed as he walked away.
Megatron looked out to the open void of space, “Soon Prime, I will win this war and you’ll be programmed to work from me. Decepticons! Prepare for an assault!”
