//------------------------------// // The Planned Chapter Only // Story: Anon Flocks with Greta // by Glam Slam //------------------------------// You are Anon. You just arrived in this strange world that seemed to be exactly the same as One of your favourite shows ever, notably lacking any and all signs of Human Life, and already you were on A ride. Once you woke up in the Everfree Forest, you decided to head toward the sea in the direction which you believed Griffonstone to be in. You figured if this indeed is the Land of Equestria and so-named planet Equis, you should travel to more well-known locales only after seeing uncommon sights, as you figured the Mane 6, Glimmer, Shimmer, Moonbutt, Sunbutt, and countless others would not give room for the chance for A long time. You wanted never before so-badly in your Life to see them and A great many others , but you steeled yourself. So, you found what seemed to be some sort of highway leading to, - you presumed, - the Equestrian Empire-Griffon Empire Border. After what seemed like weeks, you by some Miracle found yourself in Griffonstone. As you looked around, you became instantly aware of all the eyes on you, - which just-so-happened to be all eyes present except yours, though your peepers soon joined to look down. That was odd, you seemed to be in pristine condition. So why might they all be staring? It soon dawned on you that there are not known to be Humans in Equestria through-out all this planet's history. You noticed something off about their stares, though. They all seemed to be Gryphonesses, - that is to say female Gryphons, - And none look scared, shocked, or nervous. They looked... Flustered. So, as you slowly began to make your way through the once-elabourate city, which was now A small town, regretting coming, you felt all eyes following you. You soon got to town square, and before A minute could pass, all who had followed behind you when you started to get away were joined by what seemed to be the rest of the townspeople, - er, townsponiea? Townsgriffons? Sure, we'lll go with that. All of A sudden, Three Gryphonesses approached you, and asked your name. "Excuse me, but who the hay are you?!" said the biggest. "Umm, My name is Anonymous. Thanks for the "warm" welcome", you said. "Don't mind Gilda. She's softer than she looks. Ooh, so where are you from?! I have never seen A Minotaur like you before! Wait, are you A Minotaur? Minotaurs aren't handsome, but you sure are!" This rather gabby little sweetheart did not take notice as your cheeks soon reddened to match the town's new theme. As you finally noticed A Third had approached with them, your eyes met, and you turned away, blushing A deeper shade. "-Oh, My name's Gabby! Nice to meet you Anon!!" You could not be sure, but you swore she shot you the most alluring wink you had ever seen. You finally managed to speak up. "Gabby... That name fits well. You are A gabby One. I like that." The moment you said this last sentence, the Third Gryph girl scrunched up and hung her head. You decided to put your attention on her. "So, if I have it right, you are Gabby, the rude-but-charming One is Gilda. So, who is the GORGEOUS One over there?" The moment you said "So", she lifted her head slightly, then perked up with bright eyes the moment there was no denying you were talking about her. She began approaching you timidly yet quickly. "M-My name's G-Greta." she stuttered. "Well G-Greta, it is an absolute pleasure and honour to meet such A gorgeous lady." "Hahaha, handsome, entransing with such A masculine scent, and funny. You really are A dream come true, Anonymous." "Please, call me Anon, My fair lady." Deeply blushing like you have never seen, she looked into your eyes longingly."Anon, I- Only if you call me Gryphling". You later came to learn that th petname "Gryphling" is reserved for Puppy-love or more serious relationships, - none of which are aromantic. So. here you are; sitting in A tavern that does not serve any alcoholic drink of any kind. Just as well. You never drank and never would, anyway. As you make your way over to the bar, you skim over the menu. Everything on it are Teas, which you almost cry about. Such A beautiful culture. You decided Sunbutt, Moonbutt, nor any of their little Ponies would keep you from visiting this tavern, no matter how far you were from it at any given time. Every kind of Tea you have ever heard of is here, along with variants which must be exclusive to Equis. After you stare for A good while filled with internal conflict, you order Maccha, - the kind with actual Maccga Powder, Milk, and Honey. You would have went with Chai, given that you are in the mountains, being A Nintendо̄ nerd and all, but you can not pass up on the opportunity to try Matcha, which is an honour and privilege you unfortunately never got back on Earth. Sulking over your past Life you almost unregrettably abandoned, you felt A talon on your shoulder. "What's the matter, loverbird?" asked Greta. "I was just thinking about My Life before I got Kamikakushi to here on Equis" you said flatly. "Before you got wha'?", she quiried "I figured being Orientalists means that you understand all Oriental Asian stuff". "Well..." She started, "...I don't know what Asian" means, but of course we are Orientalists, we are Ornithians." "Good point" you reply. A quiet moment passes between all you in the tavern, leaving the town sounding empty aside from the mountain winds this world's Kazegami must be blowing in order to prevent the town from sounding empty. "I take it you miss your old world. ?" she half-inquired, half-stated. "No, not much at all. It's just that I never got A darned chance to try Matcha before now!" you balked. Heh, "Balked". Good Asian pun, self Greta noticed you staring at her lovely scarf, and asked "Would you like to share it?". You both began blushing, with she and the rest of the tavern's guests blushing deeper than they already were. "I would love that", you gawked. She proceeded by wrapping the scarf around your neck, letting the woven fabric barely dangle over your right shoulder, as you are practically A giant in this world. "Hmm, I could get used to this... ~"
