Somewhere in a dark alleyway, a creature with a lemon shaped head was scavenging the trash bins, looking for anything edible. 

“Hmm… nothing in here.” The creature named Lemon Demon or Monster said. 

His stomach growled loudly, he held on his stomach. 

“I need to find food, otherwise I’ll die of starvation.” 

He continued to scavenge the trash bin, but then he saw a purple glow behind him. He turned around and saw a portal.

“Hmmm… what’s this now?” Lemon Demon said confused. 

The portal started to suck Lemon Demon in. Lemon Demon tried to resist, but it was no use. The portal consumed Lemon Demon. What he could see was purple swirls as he fell down that feels like he’s been falling down forever. He looked down and saw a bright light coming towards him. As the light approached him, his vision turned dark. 

Lemon Demon finally gained conscious, he held his head with his hand. He looked around the area and decided to get up from the floor. 

“Hmmm… where am I?” Lemon Demon said confusedly. 

Just then he heard a door open behind him. He turned behind him and looked down. He saw a pony wearing a maiden dress. The maiden pony closed the door behind her and turn around. As she turned around, she noticed Lemon Demons legs and slowly lifted her head up and saw his lemon shaped head. They locked eyes with each other, the pony maid looking nervous, while Lemon Demon stared at her. As he was staring at her, his stomach started to growl, his eyes slitted, mouth began to drool and he begun to approach her.

“Well, well, well. I don’t really care where I am anymore. As long as I get a meal, than I’ll be happy.” Lemon Demon said as he approached the maiden. 

“O-oh, u-um… I can g-get you a meal… s-sir?” The maid stuttered.

“Oh but my dear, the meal is already served.” 

“W-what do y-y-you mean?” 

Lemon Demon approached the maid. The maiden was cornered, but she remembered the door behind her. She opened the door and ran into a bedroom. Lemon Demon entered the bedroom and kept approaching her. Since she had nowhere to go, Lemon Demon finally caught her. 

“Don’t worry, you will be helping me big time with your sacrifice.” Lemon Demon said as his mouth started to open towards her face. 

“P-please, don’t d-do this!” The maiden cried out, tears flowing off her face. 

As his teeth was about to reach her face, he heard footsteps behind him. 

“How’s it going in there Alice?” The voice said near the bedroom door. 

The voice came into view and it was a white female pony with a crown, horn,  wings and had a sun symbol near her flank. She approached the room, and was shocked to see what happening.

“Who are you? What are you doing to my maiden?!” The pony, named Celestia, demanded. 

Lemon Demon looked at Celestia and dropped the maid. 

“Well, it looks like I have a better meal for me to enjoy.” 

“What to do you mean by that?” 

“Heheh… you will find out.” 

Lemon Demon started to charge Celestia. Celestia’s horn started to glow yellow and she fired a yellow bolt at Lemon Demon. The bolt impacted Lemon Demon and made him hit the floor with a thud. As he fell down, he was going to reach her, but then fainted. Celestia went inside the room and saw the maid, shaking like crazy on the floor. She went over to her and knelt down. 

“Alice? What happened? Who is this?” Celestia said to the maid. 

“I-I thought he was a guest of yours… b-b-but he looked at me w-weirdly. He s-said to me that as long as I get a meal, h-he’ll be happy. B-but I think… he wanted me to be the m-meal.” The maid said with tears in her eyes. 

Celestia looked at Lemon Demon and back to the maid. 

“It looks like this… creature is dangerous and needs to be contained,” Celestia looked out of the door.” “Guards!” 

In a few seconds, two male guards came into the room and saluted. 

“Yes Princess?” One of the guards said. 

“Take this maiden to the medical room to see if she’s hurt.” 

“Yes your majesty.” One of the guards said as they went to the maid and lifted one of her hooves and walked her out the room.

“You. Help me with this… thing and put it in the dungeon. I will decide what to do with this creature.” 

“Of course your majesty.” The other guard said. 

The guard used its horn to lift up Lemon Demon, but was struggling to keep him up. Celestia saw he was struggling and helped out. They lifted Lemon Demon into the air and left the bedroom. They walked into the hallway and into the throne room. In the throne room, a dark blue princess named Luna, was sitting on her throne chair and noticed Celestia and the guard carrying the creature. Luna got up of her chair and approached Celestia. 

“Sister, what happened? What are you carrying?” Luna asked confusedly. 

“This… thing attacked one of our maids and tried to attack me. So we’re going to put it in a dungeon cell and have it talk when it awakens.” Celestia replied.

“Alright sister.”

The two sisters went over to a wooden door. 

“Luna, would you mind opening the door for us?” 

“Yes sister.” 

Luna used her horn and a dark blue aura and opened the wooden door. The door lead to a dark room with stairs going to the bottom. They went down the stairs, leading further into the darkness. They reached the bottom floor, the floor made of concrete, cells made out of metal bars, and the cold, empty silence filled the room. The guard and Celestia slowly lowered Lemon Demon into a cell and closed the cell door, locking him in. 

“We will come back here in a few hours to investigate why this creature attacked.” Celestia said to Luna.

“Okay Tia.” Luna responded.

The guard, Celestia and Luna started to go back up the stairs, but Luna turned around to look at Lemon Demon, who was looking at her. He whispered to her as she was about to leave. 

“Please… I… need… food…” Lemon Demon said weakly. 

Luna looked at him with a upset expression, she went up the stairs, leaving Lemon Demon alone once again. The three of them made it back to the throne room, but Luna was a few second behind, looking upset. Luna looked at her sister, to which she is talking to the guard that went with them. 

“I need two guards to guard the door, and two others in the dungeon room to make sure it won’t do anything it might regret.” Celestia commanded the guard. 

“As you wish, your majesty.” The guard said as he ran out of the throne room. 

Luna looked at Celestia, looking troubled by the events. 

“Tia… are you alright?” Luna asked Celestia. 

Celestia turned to her and gave her a smile.

“It’s okay Lulu, I’m okay. I’m just thinking of how it got in my castle or where it came from.” Celestia place a hood on her chin.

“Hmmm, how about I talk to it.” 

Celestia looked at her with a worried, but also stern look. 

“Absolutely not Luna! We don’t know what that thing is capable of. We need a plan first to approach and talk to it without angering it. For now, let’s leave it be for now. You understand Luna?” 

“I… I understand Celestia.” 

“Good. Don’t worry, I won’t harm it, unless it does something like that again. I’m going to check on the maid that got attacked by that thing, see you soon little sis.” Celestia said as she left the throne room. 

Luna looked at the wooden door and sighed. She placed a hoof on her chin, think of what Lemon Demon said. 

 It wants food… is that why he attacked my sister?  

Luna decided to head to the kitchen, she had an idea, but it was risky without knowing what Lemon Demon can do. She opened the doors to the kitchen and saw many ponies cooking food for breakfast. Luna went inside and saw the head chef giving orders to the other chefs. 

“Make sure you make the eggs are well done, we want the princesses to have a good breakfast!” The head chef yelled. The head chef turned his head and noticed Luna entering the kitchen. “Ah, Princess Luna. What can I do for you?” 

“Can I get a plate of the food that is available?” Luna asked the chef. 

“Of course Princess, must be hungry huh? A hard night fighting the nightmare of every ponies dreams?” 

“Heh, I guess you can say that. May I have the food now?” 

“Oh right, yes,” the head chef pointed at one of the chefs. “You! Grab the tray of the food that is ready, and make it snappy, we don’t want the princess waiting.” 

The chef nodded and walked past other chefs and grabbed a silver tray using his mouth by the bottom. He slowly went back to the head chef and Princess Luna. Luna lifted the tray with her magic. 

“Thank you.” Luna thanked the two. 

“No problem Princess, I hope you enjoy.” The head chef said to Luna. 

“I will, thank you.” Luna said as she left the kitchen. 

Luna left the kitchen and headed back to the throne room. As she opened the doors to the throne room, she saw two guards guarding the wooden door. Luna placed the tray on her back and casted a spell so the guards couldn’t see the tray. She approached the guards, to which they saluted. 

“I wish to talk to the creature.” Luna said to the guards.

“Sorry Princess Luna, we have been given orders to guard this door until Princess Celestia returns.” One of the guards said to Luna.

“I see. Well, my sister told me to start the interrogation now as she will be busy.” 

The guards looked at each other and nodded at each other. One of them opened the door for Princess Luna. Luna nodded to the guards and went down the stairs. As she reached the bottom, two other guards with spears were by Lemon Demon’s cell. The guards looked at Luna and saluted to her. 

“May I speak to the creature in private? The interrogation is going to begin now.” 

The guards nodded and made their way up the stairs. Luna went over to Lemon Demon’s cell and sat on the cold floor, using her magic to lift the invisible tray on the floor. She saw that Lemon Demon was sitting crossing its legs, staring at the back wall, away from her gaze.

“Why did you return? I’m a menace to society.” Lemon Demon said to Luna.

“I don’t think you are. I’ve heard what you said as I was about to leave.” 

“Oh… I’m guessing your gonna taunt me about that, huh?” 

“No, in fact,” Luna cancelled the spell and the tray reappeared. 

Lemon Demon turned his head to Luna and saw the tray. Luna lifted the tray dome and revealed the fresh food. Lemon Demon looked at the food and his mouth started to drool. Luna used her magic to bring the tray to Lemon Demon’s cell. As the tray was in his cell, Lemon Demon took the tray and devoured the food. He ate the food within seconds before he dropped the tray. Luna looked at Lemon Demon with a shocked expression. Lemon Demon was licking his fingers before looking at Luna. 

“Oh, heh, sorry bout that, you can tell that I eat huh.” Lemon Demon said, scratching his head. 

“Heh, yeah I can see that.” Luna giggled a bit.

“Do you have anymore?” 

“Sorry, but no.” 

“Oh. I thought that was going to be enough, but I haven’t had a proper meal in weeks.” 

Luna looked at him with a sad expression, before she had an idea. She used her horn and casted a spell near Lemon Demon, making a bright light, causing him to cover his eyes with his hands. He uncovered his eyes and his eyes widened. He saw more food on the floor, looking like it’s mostly healthy foods, but also sandwiches and many more for him. He looked at the food and looked at Luna. He took a handful of food and shoved the food in his mouth. It took him a little longer to eat most of the food. Half of the food was eaten, but their was some left that he didn’t eat. He placed his hands on his stomach. 

“Ahhh, I haven’t had that much food in a long time.” Lemon Demon said with a satisfied sigh. 

“Heh, I’m glad you eaten, you looked weaken,” Luna said as she used her horn and the remaining food disappeared. “And now you are full, I want to talk. First up, what is your name?” 

“Oh, right… my name is Monster, but you can call me Lemon Demon.” 

“It’s nice to meet you Lemon Demon, my name is Princess Luna, but you can call me Luna. So why is your name Monster?” 

“It’s nice to meet you as well Luna. And the reason I named myself that is because… well, I eat anything that looks edible, even… other beings.” 

“That also goes to my next question.” 

Lemon Demon looked at Luna with a shamed expression. “I think I know what your going to talk about, but please continue.” 

“Why did you attack my sister?” 

“Wait, which one, the one with the maid dress or the tall white one?” 

“The tall white one is my sister, Celestia.” 

“Ah, sorry about that. I’m actually a nice guy… or I want to be.” 

“What do you mean?” 

“I… wanted to be a nice guy, but this hunger keeps me from that.” 

“Your hunger?” 

“Yes… for you see… I’m an… experiment.” Lemon Demon said in a sad tone.

“An… an experiment?” 

“Yes, it’s a long story, but I’ll keep it kinda short, if you want to hear it of course.” 

“Yes, I would love to hear your story.” 

“Very well then.” 





It all started a long, long time ago, a demon named Daddy Dearest and his wife, Mommy Mearest were creating some dancers in a cauldron, pretty weird but whatever. Anyways, instead of creating a group of demon dancers, they instead created me. When I was created, I was just a lemon shaped head with eyes and a mouth. I looked at them and thought I was going to be part of their family, but I was wrong, oh so wrong.

“What happened? Where is our patch of dancers?” Mommy Mearest asked Daddy Dearest. 

“I’m not sure… did we screw up the formula?” Daddy Dearest said to Mommy Mearest. 

“No, we’ve been using the same formula for centuries now. This never happened before.” 

“Hmm… I have an idea. An idea that can get us a lot of money.” Daddy Dearest said with a sinister smile. 

At that time I never understood what he meant. Daddy Dearest picked me up and shoved me in a bag, though he could’ve just kept me in his hands, but I digress. He was walking me somewhere, but I didn’t know where at that time. We went into a building and he used used some momentum to throw me in a room without throwing the bag with me. I looked around the room that I was in, it was made out of glass and a metal door. I had to hop my way to the glass to see my surroundings better. I saw Daddy Dearest and a person wearing a lab coat talking. 





“Hold on a second, a person in lab coats?” Luna interrupted Lemon Demon. 

“Yeah, they are called scientists.” Lemon Demon responded. 

“Oh, now I know what you mean now. Please continue.” 



 

Anyways, Daddy Dearest was talking to a scientist, though I didn’t know what they were talking about. As the conversation was over, the scientist grabbed a case filled with money. The scientist offered the case to him… and he accepted it. He left the place, without looking back at me. I was… upset, but I couldn’t cry, not sure why, but I couldn’t. As soon as Daddy Dearest left, the scientist began to experiment on me. Many scientist were in near my glass room, having clipboards and writing down notes. One of the scientists had a cart with needles filled with many substances. 

“In order to go further with our experiments, we need to build a body for it,”  one of the scientists said. “Let’s start with experiment #1.” 

Another scientist picked up a needle with a dark yellow substance, and no it’s not pee… at least I hope it wasn’t. They injected the needle into me, but nothing happened. They kept injecting me with needles, but nothing worked. After a week or two, they finally did it. After many failed attempts, they finally made a substance that created my body. I don’t know what the substance they used, but it was a black like substance. As they injected the substance in me, the next day, It started to developed my body and then it effected my head, making it grow so it would be able to correspond with the black substance. After my body was done developing, the scientists were thrilled. They wanted to start the real experiments, by that i mean my body’s capabilities. Endurance, strength, abilities, you name it. I passed with flying colors, but their are some problems that I have. For you see, the needles that they injected into me finally took effect on me. The needles gave me 3 key side effects that the needles have given me. Two of the good side effects are good good for me to defend myself, but one of them is like a curse. One of them are sword hands made of the same color of my head. This must’ve been the substance they first used on me.





“Could you by chance show me?” Luna interrupted Lemon Demon once again.

“Sure, why not.” Lemon Demon said. 

Lemon Demon lifted his hands and both hands extended into yellow sharp-like swords.

“Woah! Those are cool!” Luna said in awe. 

“Heh, yeah, their pretty neat. They can cut into pretty much anything.” 

“So… why didn’t you break out of this cell?” 

“I was too weak to use them. And also… what’s the point? Everywhere I go, people think of me as a monster, that why I named myself after that, a monster.” 

“Don’t say that about yourself, I don’t think your a monster, I think your a sweet, and kind creature.” Luna said with a smile. 

Lemon looked at her and his cheeks turned red a bit, then turned away from her in embarrassment. 

“Heh, thank you Luna.” 

“Anytime, can you tell the other two of these side effects?” 

“Right.” 





Anyways, the second ability is either for good or bad. Unfortunately, I used it for bad once, but I was eventually stopped by a small blue haired guy. This power is called corruption, it can make any person or creature that I touch change their appearance into a dark color like my body. Their eyes change into a magenta color, as well as their teeth. When they are fully corrupted, they are under my control. They make the person a lot stronger and more durable to any attack it comes to them. This corruption can spread to many others as well.



 

“Wow, that’s a pretty good side effect I must say. It could be good for an army.” Luna said to Lemon Demon.

“Exactly. I used this to form my own army, but I used it for evil instead of good. It didn’t last long due to that blue hair kid.” Lemon Demon replied. 

“So what is your third side effect?” 

Lemon Demon looked away from Luna before he started. 





This third side effect is… more of a curse I will say. This curse… is the hunger that the maid and your sister saw. Since I didn’t have a body I never needed to eat. Now that I do, it’s in constant need of food. If I don’t listen to my stomach, I become… crazy, desperate even. I have to find food or anything that’s edible, otherwise I become crazy for food and will find anything… even to kill someone to eat. I don’t want that to happen, but i almost did when I came here. 

Anyways, back to my story. After the experiments were finished, they put me in a cell and I stayed in their for a long time. They must’ve lost interest in me now. I was left in my cell for years and years. They kept me fed, until one day. One day, I woke up in my cell and I looked at the area, papers scattered everywhere, my cell’s glass shattered, and the lights were off, and they were never off before. Whatever happened, they left in a big hurry. I left my cell while avoiding glass shards. I didn’t know what to do at that point, but I saw the doors to the outdoors slightly open and I went to the door. I opened the door and the sunlight nearly blinded me at first, but I slowly adjusted to it. The outdoors was outstanding for me, filled with colors other than just white walls. It felt like I was finally free. 





“A year later, I did some things that I regretted, but they kinda deserved it for the harsh treatment they have given me. After some events I caused, I had to go into hiding. Eventually my hunger was taking effect so I tried to find some food before my hunger takes effect, but then a portal appeared and here I am, in another cell, but it’s the opposite colors than my other cell.” Lemon Demon finished his story. 

Lemon Demon looked at Luna, seeing that she was starting to tear up. 

“Oh great, my backstory made you cry. Me and my big mouth.” Lemon Demon sighed. 

“No, no. I’m glad you told me your backstory. I just feel awful for you, being in a cell for your life and when you were free, your in another cell once again.” 

“Well, that’s fate I suppose. Maybe that’s just telling me that I shouldn’t left my cell.” 

Luna looked at him with an upset expression. She looked at the lock on the cell door and lit up her horn. The lock was covered in a dark blue aura. The lock made a clicking sound and the door opened. Lemon Demon looked shocked when the door opened. He got up and went to the door. He looked at Luna, who she is making a gesture to come closer to her. Lemon Demon approached Luna, looking down at her. 

“It’s unfair for you to spend your life in another cell when you have a whole life ahead of you.” Luna said sadly. 

“Are you sure? I’m fine with living in another cell, it’s my destiny after all.” Lemon Demon replied. 

“No! You deserve better than that. We’re going to go to my sister and you will tell her what you said to me.” 

“Uh…I feel like I can’t convince you to change your mind huh?” 

Luna shook her head no. 

“Well, I guess I’m in.” 

“Great, let’s go.” 

Luna and Lemon Demon made their way up the stairs. They made it to the wooden door and opened it up, only to see several guards with spears pointing towards them, and Celestia being in the center of them.

“Hello Luna.” Celestia said in a stern tone. 

“Sister! How did you know I was down their?” Luna asked Celestia. 

“One of the guards told me you were down their, so I assembled some troops so I can escort you back up, but now, you let that thing out it cell?! What are you thinking Lulu?” 

“Tia please, hear me out, Lemon Demon is misunderstood.” 

“Lemon Demon? Who’s that?” 

Luna gestured a hoof to Lemon Demon. 

“This is Lemon Demon. The reason he attacked was because of a side effect he has that makes him crazy of hunger when he doesn’t eat in time.” 

“Do you really think I’ll believe that Lulu, he could be manipulating you for all we know.” 

“B-but—“ 

“It’s alright Luna, this is my problem, I should handle it.” Lemon Demon interrupted. 

Lemon Demon step forward to Celestia, but the guards pointed their spears at him. Lemon Demon stopped where we was and looked at Celestia. 

“I know what I did to you and your maiden was unacceptable, but Luna is telling the truth. This side effect… this curse is the reason I tried to eat you and that maid. But if you don’t believe me, I understand, no one believes me about a thing. The only one that believes me and actually trusts me… is Luna,” Lemon Demon looked at Luna, who she was smiling at him. Lemon Demon looked back at Celestia and knelt to the floor. “If you don’t believe me, then… I’m ready for any punishment you give me, even death. Heh… maybe if you kill me, you would be doing me a favor, if nobody cares about me, then nobody will know I’m gone. So… what are you waiting for, do what must be done.” 

Celestia looked at him, but looked at Luna, looking sad and looking away at her. Celestia sighed and looked at the guards. 

“Stand down every pony.” Celestia said to the guards. 

The guards stopped pointing their spears at Lemon Demon. 

“Your all dismissed.” 

The guards nodded and they all left the throne room. Lemon Demon opened one of his eyes and saw Celestia’s hoof. Lemon Demon opened his other eyes and looked at Celestia. Celestia nodded at him, Lemon Demon took her hoof, and got back up. 

“Perhaps I was a bit harsh to assume you, but I will need a explanation of this side effect you mentioned.” Celestia said to Lemon Demon.

“Of course, I will tell you anything you need to know.” Lemon Demon said to Celestia.

“How about we talk in my room, it’s the quietest room in the castle to talk.” 

“Sure, lead the way.” 

Celestia lead Lemon Demon and Luna into her bedroom. Her room had a fireplace and big pillow with a small sheet laying on the floor. Celestia went to the small sheet on the floor and laid down on it, Luna did the same. Lemon Demon sat down on the floor near the sheet. Celestia used her horn to light the fireplace. 

“Now, tell us everything you want to say.” Celestia said to Lemon Demon. 

“Alright, well I already told Luna this, but I’ll tell you since you didn’t hear it. It all started a long, long time ago…” Lemon Demon began. 

Lemon Demon talked for half an hour to almost an hour, telling his story once more, but adding more stuff to the story. 

“And I came here from a portal and that’s pretty much it.” Lemon Demon finished his story. 

Celestia looks at Lemon Demon in shock. Her expression soon turned to a sad expression. 

“I’m… very sorry. I did not know.” Celestia said sadly. 

“You didn’t know, I only told you now.” Lemon Demon said to Celestia.

“Is their anything we can do?” 

“No, I just want to be left alone. That’s all I want to do. I don’t want to bother anyone…” 

Celestia and Luna looked at each other and nodded to each other. 

“Well, how about you stay here as a guest. It’s the least we can do.” Celestia said to Lemon Demon. 

“Didn’t you hear what I just said? I just want to be alone. Every time I meet someone, they end up getting hurt by me or worse. I don’t want to risk it.” Lemon Demon said to Celestia. 

“That’s why we want you to stay and help you out. We know ponies that know friendship. Plus, their is food for you, so you don’t go crazy because of your hunger.” Luna said happily.

“I… I don’t know what to say… are you sure you want me to stay?” 

“Yes, it’s not because we are scared of what you can do, it’s because we want to help.” 

“Well… I don’t want to pass the opportunity like this. Fine, I’ll stay here then.” 

“Perfect! Well we have plenty of rooms for you to sleep. Luna, can you show them a room for him to sleep in?” 

“Of course sister. Follow me Lemon Demon.” Luna said to Lemon Demon. 

“Alright.” Lemon Demon said to Luna

“I’ll stay here, I’ll need to write to my faithful student about our encounter with our new friend.” 

“Okay sister, come on Lemon Demon.” 

Luna and Lemon Demon left Celestia’s room. Luna and Lemon Demon went to a hallway with many doors. Luna opened one of the doors and they went inside. The room had a bed that was neatly made, a night stand, a dresser and a window to see the nice view. 

“Here’s your room that you will sleep. I hope it’s good for you.” Luna said to Lemon Demon. 

“It’s perfect, thank you Luna.” Lemon Demon said to Luna. 

“No problem, I’ll leave you here for now, I’ll be in the throne room if you need me, okay?” 

“Sounds good Luna.” 

Luna opened the door and left the room. Lemon Demon looked at the door and looked at the window. He went over to the window and looked outside. He saw many ponies roaming the streets, flying in the skies and talking to each other.

 Hmm, this world is way different than earth, but nothing will change for me. However, I can’t waste this opportunity and I want to at least make a change in my pathetic life, even if it fails or not, I gotta take it.  Lemon Demon thought to himself. 

He looked at the door once again and went over to it. He opened the door and closed the door behind him.
