Spell Breaker
When I was told about Emerald Garden I was not against the idea of adopting an additional filly.
Between my work dispelling magical effects from members of the guard and Sapphires' maid work in the castle it was not hard to care for both.
Polished would also have to commute a much shorter distance for her work with Sunstone.
Emerald Garden
When I had been told that I had been adopted I was not sure how to react.
I had never even been looked at by adults but now I was being adopted.
I had thought that I would grow into an adult in this orphanage.
But I was not being adopted alone.
Sunstone would be my new sister.
I didn't have a problem with her but something strange happened with her.
When we were in the yard Sunstone went to eat and weed that would have given her a nasty stomach ache.
I tried to stop her but before I could she suddenly stopped and completely ignored it.
I had my bags packed and was sitting next to her while making sure that she didn't wonder off.
Sometimes I really worry about her.
I had half a mind to put her on a leash.
Wait that's not a bad idea.
Eventually our new parents arrived.
Our dad Spell Breaker was a crystal unicorn with a topaz coat and lapis mane.
As it turns out he was the one who freed her from stone.
Though our mom Sapphire Polish was a crystal earth pony like me with a sapphire coat and mane.
When they arrived to pick us up I suggested getting a harness for Sunstone.
They thought I was joking but fortunately Aunt Polished had agreed with me at least for going out with her.
With the crystalling coming we didn't want her to lose her during it.
We both got our own rooms though Sunstone would spend quite a bit of time with me in my room.
Spell Breaker
When the royal foal was finally born.
We kept Sunstone on a harness since she had a habit of wondering off.
It was at about this time that Sunstone was finally starting to talk.
She would soon be able to attend school alongside Emerald Garden.
Though there is something about her that has been bothering me.
She has not even tried to use her magic.
Well I guess that I will have to teach her.
Sunstone
I eventually started to realize that the sounds that the others who looked like me had meaning.
For example I learned that the one that is the same size as my that I follow around is called Emerald Garden.
But two of the big ones confused me.
Most seemed to call them Sapphire Polish and Spell Breaker but I was supposed to call them mom and dad.
Emerald called them that to but seemed to understand so I will ask her when I learned how.
