The stadium near the Elite Four headquarters is filled to capacity. Many people from outside of Kalos, especially from Canterlot City have come to see this event. In the commentary booth, a young teenage girl steps in. She has blond hair in a ponytail wrapped in a red bow. She wore a ruffled pink shirt, sky blue overalls with ruffles on the ankles and a red heart on the front. She also has on red platform shoes. 
"Hi, everybody." The girl greeted. "Welcome to the Kalos Stadium. The setting of a special event. My name is Megan Williams. And, I'll deliver all the action for you folks here, and those watching at your homes."
Inside one of the dressing rooms, Sunset looks at herself in the mirror. She has on a yellow shirt, forest green vest, blue Capri style plants, and black shoes. Luster Dawn and her partners are there with her.
"Rarity sure knows her stuff when it comes to clothing." Ocelus said. 
"She always does." Sunset replied. "Thanks for joining me for this battle."
"It's our pleasure." Luster Dawn said happily. 
Sunset walks over to the door that leads to the tunnel. That tunnel leads to the arena. "Follow me, girls. It's show time."


SUNSET vs. DIANTHA
Part 1


The crowd is getting excited as Megan makes an introduction. "Introducing, in the left corner, one of the most beautiful movie personalities  ever known. The Kalos Region champion: Diantha!"
Diantha walks out and receives a great ovation from the crowd. Suddenly, the hopeless romantic, Brock, zipped from his seat, and went to the arena floor.
"My dear Diantha." Brock said with such enthusiasm. "Forget this event and let me escort you to your next photo shoot. I can be your leading man in the path of romance."
Diantha is confused. Just like everybody in the arena. Luckily, one of Brock's old traveling companions, Misty, came along and took him away by pulling on his ear.
"No romantic roles for you, Brock." Misty told him, making sure there'll be no romance for him. "Exit, stage left."
"MISTY!" Brock cried. "NOT AGAIN!"
Watching form above, Megan got the event back on track. "Sorry about that. Let's go on. In the right corner, a young lady who's escaping her dark past. And, is making good progress. Coming to us from Canterlot City, here's Sunset Shimmer!"
Sunset walks into the arena with Luster, Smolder, and Ocelus by her side. In their homes at Aquacorde Town, Sunny Starscout and Izzy Moonbow watch the battle, cheering for their friend. At the arena,  Misty looked at Sunset, and zipped on over to confront her.
"Just a minute, Shimmer!" Misty said angrily. She soon turned red with rage. "You're not supposed to be here, you She-Demon! You're supposed to still pay for your crimes at Canterlot High School! Being a bully, the Anon-A-Miss conspiracy, and everything else you're guilty of. I should have an Officer Jenny drag you to jail!"
Now, Brock dragged her out by her ear. "Come on, Misty. She had enough of that talk from Garble and Miss Harshwhinny. She doesn't need it from you."
"Sorry, Brock." Misty said, feeling nervous. "I guess I had this coming."
The two girls chuckled as a male referee steps in. "I apologize for what just happened. Please, call for your Pokémon."
Diantha made the first move. "Pokémon number one is Hawlucha."
Hawlucha comes out for action. Sunset makes her first choice. "Delphox, I choose you!"
Delphox comes out. On a big screen is Diantha and Sunset with their Pokémon in squares with white backgrounds. 
"The Pokémon are selected." Megan said. "And now, the contest is ready to go."
The referee makes an announcement. "Let the battle begin."





Pokémon Quiz

Hi there. Sunset Shimmer here. In previous Pokémon animated adventures, the flames of a legendary Pokémon is the start of Pokémon League events. Which legend is it?




"Hawlucha," Diantha said, "Wing Attack!"
Hawlucha's wings glowed as it charges to Delphox. Sunset soon reacted. "Delphox, Flamethrower!"
Delphox sent a bunch a flames at Hawlucha. Even though it's hit, Hawlucha strikes at Delphox. Sunset was surprised that Delphox was hit so hard. In the stands, Miss Harshwhinny watches the action, hoping Sunset would lose. "I wish that Hawlucha would strike Sunset."
"Hawlucha," Diantha said, "follow it up with Flying Press!"
The Wrestling Pokémon leaped up, and pressed hard on Delphox. 
"Delphox," Sunset calls out, "Push him off with Psychic!"
Using its Psychic powers, Delphox pushes Hawlucha off. The psychic energy caused Hawlucha to faint.
"Hawlucha is unable to battle." The referee announced. "Delphox wins!"
"With a strong Psychic attack," Megan said, "Delphox defeated Hawlucha. But, that Hawlucha was very brutal."
"That's because I got him and Diantha's other Pokémon aggressive on Sunset’s Pokémon." Harshwhinny said to herself. 
The background of Hawlucha went black as its picture lost its color and went all gray.
"Return, Hawlucha." Diantha said. "I'm sorry that Hawlucha got aggressive. He doesn't get this brutal."
"It's like someone got to them before this event happened." Sunset replied. 
"Anyway, here's Pokémon number two. Go, Tyrantrum."
When Tyrantrum arrived, Sunset has an idea. 
"Delphox, return." Sunset said as she makes her decision. "Avalugg, I choose you!"
Avalugg appeared. The background of Delphox went black. But, it's picture stayed the same. Avalugg and Tyrantrum's pictures appeared.
"This should be interesting." Megan said. "Tyrantrum versus Avalugg."
"Tyrantrum," Diantha said, "Head Smash!"
The Despot Pokémon's head glowed as it charges into Avalugg. Sunset reacted. "Avalugg, use Ice Fang!"
With a mouth full of icicles, Avalugg bit down on Tyrantrum's head. Diantha fought back. "Shake it off with Dragon Claw!"
Tyrantrum quickly slashed Avalugg to let it go. Diantha followed it up. "Now, use Crunch!"
When Tyrantrum opened its mouth, that's the chance Sunset has. "Avalugg, Ice Ball!"
Avalugg fired a ball of ice into Tyrantrum's mouth. With Tyrantrum's mouth full of ice, Sunset followed it up. "Avalugg, use Blizzard!"
Avalugg fired a massive snowstorm at Tyrantrum. Soon, the Despot Pokémon fainted.
"Tyrantrum is unable to battle." The referee announced. “Avalugg wins."
The background went black as Tyrantrum's picture went all grey.
"What a Blizzard attack!" Megan said with astonishment. "Being partially a dragon type, Tyrantrum felt that chilly reception. Now, the champion is down to four."
Harshwhinny was upset hearing that news as Diantha recalls her Pokémon. 
"You don't give up, Miss Shimmer." Diantha said. "I'm very impressed."
Sunset blushed. At her house in Aquacorde Town, Sunny applauded her friend. "Way to go, Sunset.  You took out one third of her Pokémon."
At the arena. Diantha made her next choice.  "Here's Pokémon number three. Aurorus!"
Aurorus comes out, and it looks determined. Sunset recalls Avalugg, and brings back Delphox,  believing that it rested up.
"Aurorus," Diantha said, "use Aurora Beam."
Aurorus fired a rainbow beam at Delphox. Sunset quickly reacted. "Dodge,  then use Mystical Fire."
Delphox dodged the Aurora Beam, then blasted Aurorus with fire.
"Aurorus," Diantha said, "use Rock Throw!"
Aurorus launched a  massive rock at Delphox. The rock made impact, and Delphox fainted.
"Delphox is unable to battle." The referee announced. "Aurorus wins."
The white background went black as Delphox's picture went gray. Harshwhinny wax pleased. "YES!"
"Oooo." Megan said with concern.  "And to think, Sunset had that Delphox since it was a Fenniken. Can she recover from this?"
"Yes, I can." Sunset said as she recalls Delphox. She makes her next choice. "Lucario, I choose you!"
Lucario shows up as his picture appears on the screen. Sunset rubbed her bracelet and started chanting. "The bond between Pokémon and trainer is always to be special. Now, my faithful fighter." She pressed on her keystone. "MEGA EVOLVE!"
Everybody was amazed seeing the Mega Evolution. 
"Mega Evolution?!" Harshwhinny gasped. "I don't believe it."
"Going all out, I see." Diantha said.
"You bet." Sunset replied. “Lucario, use Aura Sphere!"
As Lucario is ready to attack, Diantha reacted. "Aurorus, use Hyper Beam!"
Aurorus fired a beam of massive energy just as Lucario launch its Aura Sphere. The two attacks collided resulted in an explosion. Which Pokémon will be left standing after this big bang?
