It was another night in New York City, and the foot clan were doing a patrol.
"Well, there hasn’t been any Purple Dragon sightings." Karai noted.
"This is starting to get boring." Sonata whined.
"For once, I agree. Where’s the action?" Aria asked.
"Calm down you two, we’ll find something that’ll happen eventually." Adagio responded.
"Maybe we should check out Bronx." Shini suggested.
"Why not? We've got a clear schedule anyway." Karai said as the five of them nodded before they headed out to Bronx.
Later...
"Well, that was a bust." Aria deadpanned.
"Wait! I see something!" Sonata pointed out as the other four ninjas of the foot clan looked where Sonata was looking and saw a shady silhouette in the shadows.
"I wonder what that is. We should probably check it out." Karai said.
"I have a strange feeling about this." Adagio dreaded a bit.
"Oh, so it's not just me." Aria noticed.
"That's what I thought when I saw it!" Sonata responded as they decided to get a closer look and went into the alley, only to discovered that they were surrounded.
"Well, well, well... Dumb humans found one of our hideouts." A male voice said, making Karai scowl.
"Show yourselves!" Karai demanded.
"All ya had to do was ask." The voice quipped as the lights came on, revealing animal mutants in red and black ninja outfits, a green cobra mutant and a scorpion mutant, lead by a crocodile mutant, all of them having yellow eyes, and strange symbols on them, which the Dazzlings immediately recognized.
"No way!" The Dazzlings gasped in shock, but the crocodile mutant noticed them.
"Well, seems like three of your friends know who we are." The crocodile mutant said.
"Who are you?!" Karai asked.
"Hmph. I'm Rockjaw, the leader of this whole gang, and these two are Viper and Scorpius. But I'm sure those three know what we are." Rockjaw responded.
"I don't believe it! Wilders, in Bronx?!" Adagio said in complete surprise.
"Well, aren't you the clever one." A female voice quipped as the ninjas saw more "Wilders," a female mosquito mutant, a female gila monster mutant, and a thorny devil lizard mutant. "Name's Deva, vice-leader, and these two are Gila and Mudsucker."
"This lot won't be much of a challenge." Mudsucker buzzed and snickered.
"Heehee! Yeah!" Gila agreed as the wilders started surrounding the five ninjas, but Karai and Shini noticed something glowing throughout the inside of the Dazzlings' bodies.
"I never thought we would have to do this." Adagio noted.
"But we got no other choice." Aria responded.
"It's been quite a while." Sonata added as the Dazzlings then ponied up and gain their siren wings, with something flowing inside of them, which looked like their symbols, before doing something unexpected.
"Dazzling Do!" Adagio shouted as she spun around, with her arms stretching out, hitting some of the wilders.
"Blazing Beats!" Aria shouted as she threw a flurry of stretching rhythmic punches, knocking out more wilders.
"Dusk Diminuendo!" Sonata shouted as she bounced into the air and delivered a flurry of stretching kicks in a rhythm.
The three attacks knocked Gila and Mudsucker back.
"Well, this is a surprise." Deva said, caught off guard by that.
"Oh, sssssssnap! They're like us!" Viper noticed.
“Human heroes of Goo-Jit-Zu?! No way!" Rockjaw said in shock.
"Sorry to leave ya hanging, but we're outta here." Adagio declared as Sonata threw down a smoke bomb, obscuring the Wilders' line of sight. And when the smoke cleared, the Foot Ninja were gone.
Once they were in the clear, Karai looked at the Dazzlings suspiciously. "What was that?"
"When we first came to this world, the remaining of our magic gave us the powers of Goo-Jit-Zu, and we were formally Wilders." Adagio explained.
"But what we need to know is, how did that Goo get to Bronx?" Aria wondered.
"Wait a minute, wasn't there a meteor that crashed in Bronx not long ago?" Sonata asked in realization.
"Yeah, that meteor must've had Goo in it and the Goo was released the moment it crashed!" Adagio responded, making Shinigami tilt her head in confusion.
"Goo? Don't you mean Mutagen?" Shini asked.
"Not in the slightest." Aria answered.
"The Goo is entirely different than Mutagen. It doesn't visually affect humans, but it does mutant animals into either Heroes of Goo-Jit-Zu or Wilders." Sonata explained.
"And if there are Wilders in Bronx, we need to get the turtles, Rainbooms and the others, so we can find where the Heroes of Goo-Jit-Zu are." Adagio declared.
"Mutants with gooey bodies, eh? I guess we've seen weirder." Karai shrugged off.
"Come on! We gotta head back and tell the others about this." Adagio urged as the five ninjas started heading back to New York City.
But while they were leaving, Karai looked back towards the Bronx. "I have a feeling that things are going to get weirder than usual." She thought out loud to herself.
The next morning, the Rainbooms, turtles and their friends got a call from Adagio, telling them to meet them in New York City. The turtles are on their way in the Shellraiser, while the Rainbooms were on their truck to New York City.
"What do you think is going on?" Twilight asked.
"I don’t know, but with what Adagio said, it must be really important." Sunset responded before Pinkie started shaking uncontrollably before stopping.
"Guys, my pinkie sense tells me a doozy is on the way!" Pinkie informed.
"Must be about what Adagio, Aria and Sonata has to tell us." Rainbow Dash noted before Fluttershy noticed something along with her and her friends’ geodes glowing.
"Uh… Girls?" Fluttershy called out.
"Yes, darling?" Rarity asked as she looked at Fluttershy.
"Our geodes are glowing, and something’s happening to Spike." Fluttershy said, drawing everyone's attention to Spike.
"I feel tingly. And a little queasy." Spike groaned before the Rainbooms saw something terrifying happen to him. The dog morphed into a gooey pile before shifting between many different shapes, until Spike turned into a humanoid dog with his original color, wearing a green pair of pants with a symbol showing a paw print in a circle on the right legging. "Okay. Weird. And I still feel queasy." Spike said after a cough before flexing his new fingers as the seven girls’ jaws just dropped in absolute shock.
"Okay, maybe the Dazzlings know what’s goin’ on. They might even explain what happened to Spike." Applejack said as Spike noticed their geodes glowing, before seeing something wrong with Pinkie's arm.
"Uh, guys? Don't look now, but I think it's happening to you too!" Spike said.
"Huh?" The Rainbooms asked in confusion before they looked around, but stopped when they saw Pinkie’s arm stretching like taffy, catching them completely off guard.
Pinkie gasped at her arm turning gooey. "Whoa!!! Wait, is that my symbol floating in my arm?" Pinkie noticed.
"Say what now?" Rainbow Dash noticed as everyone looked at themselves and saw their symbols floating throughout the inside of their bodies while they saw green fire embers floating down inside Spike, who touched his belly, feeling the embers and realized something.
"Guys! I'm all gooey inside!" Spike informed, surprising everyone, as Fluttershy felt her skin, only to feel goo inside of her.
"Uh, I think all of us are gooey inside." Fluttershy added as Pinkie began poking herself, then poking Rainbow Dash.
"Hey! Watch it!" Rainbow Dash said as she pushed Pinkie, unintentionally stretching her arms out and pushing her to the other side of the bus. "Whoa!!! Look at my arms!" Rainbow Dash awed as her arms stretched and explored the entire interior of the bus.
Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash's arms in shock, then towards her own as she then bent her hand backwards and it didn't hurt, it was like she had no bones, before it readjusted itself. "That settles it! Time to get this bus into overdrive!" Applejack declared as she stomped on the gas pedal hard, making the bus go faster, but not without accidentally sending the others to the back off the bus, squishing them into piles of goo.
"Get me unstuck! Someone's butt is in my eye socket!" Rainbow Dash cried out as Spike coughed and struggled.
"And someone's foot is against my throat!" Pinkie coughed.
"What do y’all mean? Ya have yer seatbelts on, right?" Applejack asked.
"No." Twilight groaned.
"Sorry, but with this bein’ real serious and important, no time to slow down!" Applejack said as Rarity tugged on her hair, only to find that even her hair was gooey and stretchy.
"Well, hurry up! I don't like where this is going!" Rarity urged.
"We’re almost there, then!" Applejack said before a minute later, they got to the turtles in the Shellraiser. "Phew! We’re here!" Applejack sighed in relief while everyone else in the van just groaned in queasiness. "C’mon! No time fer lollygaggin’! Let’s move!"
"Give us a minute!" Twilight responded as she steadied herself, then held up her gooey hand.
"Oh, for Pete’s sake! We need to hurry!" Applejack urged before she and her friends saw the turtles, who are shocked. "Look, none of us know how this is happenin’ but the Dazzlings might."
"Then we need to find them!" Donnie said as Mikey noticed his and his brothers’ medallions glowing, and so did Applejack.
"Dudes, our medallions are glowin’!" Mikey noticed.
"Oh no!" Applejack dreaded in fear before Mikey’s arm stretched down, catching the turtle brothers completely off guard.
Mikey looked at his arm, then tested it out, touching it. "Whoah, dudes! I feel squishy!" Mikey said before seeing something in his arm. "Wow! The inside of my arm is orange goo!"
"Unbelievable! This isn’t mutagen! It’s not magic either!" Donnie noticed as he took a closer look.
"It's happening to you guys too!" Mikey added as he pointed at his brothers, making the other three turtles mutants looked at themselves, seeing that Mikey was right. Leo had blue goo, Raph had red goo, and Donnie had purple goo.
"This is really starting to freak me out now!!!" Raph panicked.
"Hmm... We might learn more about this if we go to the Dazzlings, because in that called, they sounded like they know what's going on." Donnie informed as the turtles and Rainbooms nodded in agreement, proceeding to meet with the foot clan.
They met up with the foot clan, finding not just Karai, Shini and the Dazzlings, but also April, Casey, Bebop and Rocksteady, but they noticed that the Dazzlings are already gooey.
"Are you kidding me?! You three too?!" Sunset exasperated.
"Actually, me and my sisters have always been like this ever since we first came into this world." Adagio answered.
"I regret to say that we need more information." Donnie said as he stared at that.
"I’m afraid you do." Aria confirmed before the Rainbooms’ geodes, turtles’ medallions and the Dazzlings throats started to glow, and after the glow faded, Karai, Shini, April, Casey, Bebop and Rocksteady started feeling weird, their insides turning into goo. April had circular psychic waves inside her goo, Casey had hockey pucks in him, Karai had snakes in her, Shini had bats in her, Bebop had computer chips in him and Rocksteady had his country's hook and hammer symbol in him.
"What the what?! What's goin' on?!" Bebop gasped.
"We mutating twice?!" Rocksteady dreaded.
"Uh, no. Because of our equestrian magic, it looks like everyone, even Spike, have been turned into Heroes of Goo-Jit-Zu." Sonata answered.
"Goo-Jit-zu?" Everyone else except Dazzlings, Karai and Shini asked in confusion.
"Our bodies transformed, and now we have amazing stretchy, squishy, gooey powers. Some of us, depending on our goo, have elemental abilities." Sonata explained.
"Whoa…" Everyone else except Adagio and Aria awed.
"So THAT was… *Shudder* one of the doozies!" Pinkie realized.
"One of?" Casey asked.
"But there’s still something we don’t understand." Leo said.
"Yeah, what does that have to do with this meeting?" April agreed.
"Because we’ll be gooing to Bronx." Adagio answered, much to everyone else's, except her sisters, confusion.
"‘Gooing?’ Don’t you mean ‘going?’" Twilight asked.
"One of the tweaks of being able to use Goo-Jit-Zu." Aria explained.
"Goo-Jit-Zu fighting skills is using martial arts combined with goo powers. Very advanced stuff. " Sonata added.
"But is something happening in Bronx?" Sunset asked.
"Yes, there are Wilders in Bronx." Sonata answered.
"They’re the evil kind of Goo-Jit-Zu users." Aria explained.
"So we’re going to Bronx to find Goo-Jit-Zu Heroes, not just to help them, but to help train you in this new fighting style." Adagio said.
"I'm guessing you three used to be Wilders before reforming." Twilight assumed.
"Yep." Adagio confirmed.
"But we had no idea there were more." Sonata added.
"So we think that meteor that crashed in Bronx is what caused them to come back, because that meteor unleashed a certain Goo. And no, it’s not mutagen." Aria explained.
"Something that causes a different kind of mutation that isn't mutagen! Incredible!" Donnie said in amazement.
"Donnie, not the time!" Raph responded in anger.
"We need to find these Heroes, and I think the best place to start is in the zoo where the meteor crashed. Maybe we can find some clues." Karai said with a nod.
"A meteor crashed at a zoo?!" Fluttershy gasped in fright.
"And if it did, more goo creatures were made from the animals in the zoo." Adagio confirmed with a nod.
"W-We need to get there, now!!!" Fluttershy urged as she... stretched into the Rainbooms’ bus before her lower half flew in straight to the driver’s seat.
"Typical Fluttershy. Concerned for the wellbeing of animals. I hope she never changes." Rainbow Dash said with a chuckle.
"Heh. I don’t think she will." Sunset agreed.
"She’s right though, we better get to that zoo, ASAP. The sooner we get there, the sooner we learn more about this Goo-Jit-Zu." Mikey pointed out as everyone headed out for Bronx.
Later, everyone got to the Bronx Zoo.
"Okay, everyone. As much as we could go with a friendly approach, that might make the heroes more suspicious, so we’ll have to sneak in, quickly, quietly and carefully." Leo informed as Mikey looked in a direction and saw a building that looked like a dojo.
"Uh, dudes, remember that symbol on Spike’s pants?" Mikey asked.
"Yeah, so what?" Raph responded.
"Well it's on that building. By the way, is that building supposed to be in this zoo?" Mikey said.
"Normally, no." April responded.
"That means we found the Goo-Jit-Zu Heroes." Adagio said.
"You better not get any ideas, Wilders!" A male voice threatened, making the ninjas turn to see a wolf with bones in his goo.
"Wait! You don’t understand!" Sunset tried to reason with the wolf goo mutant before he raised his right fist, which doubled in sized and started glowing purple.
"Crunch Attack!" The wolf goo mutant shouted as he leapt into the air and threw the enlarged punch at the ninjas, only for them to dodge.
"Alright, buddy… If you want a fight, I’ll give you a fight!" Raph growled as the red goo started flowing throughout his body as Raph's arms shined like steel before they were set on fire. "Steel Inferno!" Raph shouted as he delivered a double tornado kick before throwing a fire-steel uppercut, knocking the wolf goo mutant back.
"You're tougher than you look, but that won't stop me! I already sent message for backup!" The wolf goo mutant said as he got back up.
"Heh. Not when I’m around, ‘cause they’re be out, ten seconds flat!" Rainbow Dash taunted as her symbols started flowing through her body as she got into a starting position with both of her knuckles on the ground. "Loyal Lightning!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she used her geode’s magic to run around the wolf goo mutant before kicking him with her legs filled with lightning, pushing him back with a shock, much to the mutant’s surprise.
"What?! A human Wilder?! Now I’m really glad I called for backup!" The wolf goo mutant said in relief before suddenly, several more goo creatures came out: a panther in a white ninja outfit, a tiger, a shark, a giraffe, and a female kangaroo with boxing gloves. They were led by a red komodo dragon with yellow spines. "Talk about great timing!"
"So Wolfpain, these seven wilders causing trouble?" The komodo goo mutant asked.
"I think we should make that 21 one, because the humans that are with them have Goo-Jit-Zu powers too!" "Wolfpain" answered.
"What the sashimi?!" The shark goo mutant gasped.
"Hold on. Maybe we’re missing something here." A female voice pointed out, making the ninjas look behind them to find a female Taipan Snake goo mutant.
"Like what, Taipa?" The komodo goo mutant wondered.
"Like, maybe they need us to help them." Taipa answered.
"Now that I look at it, all of them look like they’ll fight if needed." The panther goo mutant noticed.
"Who are you lot, and why have you come here?" The kangaroo goo mutant asked.
"My name is Leonardo, but you can call me Leo, and these three turtles are my brothers; Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo." Leo introduced himself and his brothers
"My name’s Twilight Sparkle, and these are my friends; Sunset Shimmer, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Spike." Twilight introduced herself and her friends.
"I’m Adagio Dazzle, and those two are my sisters, Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk. The others are April O’Neil, Casey Jones, Karai, Shinigami, Bebop and Rocksteady. As for the reason we’re here, we came to find you so we can help you fight the Wilders and train the others in Goo-Jit-Zu. Me and my sisters aren’t enough to help them learn." Adagios answered as the komodo dragon walked up to them.
"If you are indeed heroes, then you are welcome. My name is Blazagon." He introduced himself.
"And as you probably heard before, I'm Taipa." Taipa said.
"Name's Pantaro." The panther greeted.
"I'm Thrash!" The shark introduced.
"Dirt Neck." The giraffe said.
"My name's Tygor." The tiger greeted.
"The name's Kanga Box." The kangaroo introduced.
"And I'm Wolfpain. Sorry if we got off on the wrong foot." Wolfpain apologized.
"It's okay. All in the past." Leo responded with a nod.
“Come on, let’s head to the GooJo.” Blazagon said.
"Goojo?" Leo asked in confusion.
“Wait a minute, that must’ve been the building I saw with that simple on Spike’s pants!” Mikey realized.
"We built it after the meteor crashed." Dirt beck confirmed with a nod.
“Um… Did all of the animals survive?” Fluttershy asked in concern, responded by Blazagon giving a nod.
"We did. But not all of us became good goo creatures." Blazagon answered.
“You mean some of them became Wilders.” Adagio said as Blazagon nodded at that. “Me and my sisters were Wilders ourselves, but not anymore.”
“That’s good to hear.” Taipa said in relief.
"Come inside. We can talk more about what we are dealing with." Blazagon explained.
“No problem.” Sunset responded as everyone went into the GooJo.
“Hey, Gookeeper, we got some new Goo-Jit-Zu trainees and a few special cases like you.” Blazagon said as a middle-aged man turned around and smiled
"Why, hello. New recruits?" The Gookeeper assumed.
“Well, most of us. Me and my two sisters, Aria and Sonata, are considered masters of Goo-Jit-Zu, but we figured we would need some help training our friends.” Adagio answered with an explaination as the Gookeeper looked at the group, and noticed some of them are goo humans like him.
"Oh my. Seems there are several like me." The Gookeeper noticed before Leo thought of something.
“Gookeeper, are you familiar with a man known as Hamato Yoshi?” Leo asked.
“Why yes, he was one of my best friends. He’d gladly help me out at the zoo. We had such good times. But why do you ask?” The Gookeeper wondered before Leo explained what happened, much to the his and the other heroes’ shock. “I see. I’m sorry for your loss.”
“I think we all are.” Blazagon added as the rest of the Heroes of Goo-Jit-Zu agreed.
"But it is nice to meet his family." The Gookeeper said with a warm smile.
“No doubt about that. Feel free to take a look around, but tomorrow, we’ll start training. Blazagon agreed.
"Welcome to the Heroes of Goo-Jit-Zu." Pantaro welcomed the ninjas from New York and Canterlot City as the aforementioned ninjas cheered.
