// On the Road to Victory Road 
// Story: Sunset Shimmer’s Journey Through Kalos

Sunset and her friends began their travels to Victory Road. This is where the Pokémon League awaits Sunset's challenge. First, a bulky veteran challenges Izzy Moonbow to a Pokémon battle. 
"Go, Vaporeon." The veteran calls out.
Out pops a blue cat creature with what looks like a fish tail and other watery features. 
Sunset studied this creature with her Pokédex. Vaporeon, the Bubble Jet Pokémon and an evolved form of Eevee. It can camouflage easily in any body of water.
"That's five forms of Eevee I saw." Sunset said happily. 
"Let's go, Gurdurr!" Izzy said.
Out pops a muscular looking creature with a steel beam in his hands.
"Did Izzy's Timburr evolve?" Sunset wondered. 
Gurdurr, the Muscular Pokémon and the evolved form of Timburr. The Pokédex said. This Pokémon is so sturdy, even an army of wrestlers can't knock it down.
"Vaporeon, use Aurora Beam." The veteran said.
Vaporeon fired a rainbow beam at Gurdurr.  The Muscular Pokémon was hit, but endured. The veteran made another call. "Drown Gurdurr with Muddy Water."
Vaporeon tried to flush out Gurdurr. Izzy quickly reacted. "Dodge! Then, use Dynamic Punch!"
Gurdurr avoided the watery attack. With its fist glowing, he whacks Vaporeon back to its trainer. The veteran recalls Vaporeon and approached Izzy.
"That was quite a battle, Miss Moonbow." The veteran said as he and Izzy shook hands. "Thanks for the battle."
As the veteran leaves, the girls move on. 


ON THE ROAD TO VICTORY ROAD


As the girls walk down the road, Sunset heard a female foreign voice.
"That's it, my lovelies!" The voice said. "Pose for me."
"Who was that?" Sunny asked. 
"I think I know." Sunset replied. 
The trio soon spotted a white haired girl with light blue skin. She has on a black and white striped shirt, black skirt, and white shoes.  She also has on magenta lensed glasses. 
"That's my photography friend." Sunset said. "Her name is Photo Finish. She's amazing with her camera."
Sunny saw somebody else. "There's Lyra and Bon Bon. And, it looks like Tyrunt and Amaura have evolved."
Sunset used her Pokédex to scan these Pokémon. First, is a large dinosaur with white on his neck and jaw.Tyrantrum, the Despot Pokémon and the evolved form of Tyrunt. This Pokémon can crush a car with its massive jaws.
Next, the Pokédex scanned a blue dinosaur with sails on its neck and lined with crystals. Aurorus, the Tundra Pokémon and the evolved form of Amaura. Most people are tempted to pet this Pokémon.  But, it's skin is hundreds of degrees below zero.
Suddenly, Photo Finish turned and called out to someone. "Who is that with the Pokédex?! Show yourself to me!"
Sunset stepped out cautiously. "Take it easy, Photo. No need to be paranoid."
"Sunset Shimmer." Photo said, feeling some relief. "It's been a while since we've seen each other."
"I'm sure it is."
The two friends hugged each other. Lyra and Bon Bon saw Sunset and company. 
"I wonder what brings Sunset and company here." Bon Bon wondered.
Lyra puts her hand on her friend's shoulder. "I'm sure we'll find out."





Pokémon Quiz

Hello, Pokémon fans. Sunset Shimmer here.  Which Ultra Beast is known as the Junkivore Pokémon?




Sunset and her friends get together with Lyra, Bon Bon and Photo. 
"Wow!" Lyra gasped. "You have all eight badges?"
"That's right." Sunset said as she pulls out her badge case. "Here's proof." 
Everyone looked at the badges Sunset has. 
"Very impressive." Photo praised. "I have heard that you came to Kalos to be a Pokémon trainer. This is good progress indeed."
"Thanks." Sunset replied. "So, what are you doing near Victory Road?"
"I have heard that Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon have prehistoric Pokémon. I didn't believe it until now."  
Sunset realized that something is wrong. "Where are your partners,  Violet Blur and Pixel Pizzazz?"
Hearing their names, Photo's helpers show up.
"We were just playing with our Pokémon." Pixel said as she threw a Poké Ball. "Here's mine."
Out pops a lavender cat like creature with a tail that splits at the end and has a red crystal on its forehead. Sunset pulls out her Pokédex. "That's an Espeon!"
Espeon, the Sun Pokémon and an evolved form of Eevee. The Pokédex said. It senses movements in the air with its fur.
Violet throws her own Poké Ball. "And, here's mine."
Out pops a black cat like creature with yellow marks on its fur. Sunset studied this Pokémon. 
Umbreon, the Moonlight Pokémon and an evolved form of Eevee. The Pokédex said. With its black fur, it can blend in easily in the dark.
"This makes it seven forms of Eevee I saw." Sunset said happily. 
"How did you guys find those little fellows?" Sunny asked. 
"We were given a pair of Eevee at an adoption center." Violet explained. "We fell in love with these little guys."
"I took care of my Eevee during the daytime." Pixel said. "Violet took care of hers during the night."
Lyra approached Sunset. "Are you really going to battle the Elite Four?"
'Yes, I am." Sunset replied. "After that, I will battle the Kalos Region champion."
"From what I heard," Photo said, "you're no slouch when it comes to Pokémon."
"You heard right. I've been training my Pokémon well. With their help, I will accomplish my goals."
Everybody clapped with admiration. Lyra and Bon Bon start to leave.
"We got to go." Lyra said. "We're having lunch at a lovely restaurant."
"Good luck, Sunset." Bon Bon said. 
As they called back their Pokémon, the two good friends went off. Photo and her friends packed up their equipment and their Pokémon. 
"Nice seeing you again, Sunset." Photo said. "We go!"
The photography trio hit the road. Soon, Sunset and company made their way to a gate inside a cave.
"Only those who defeated the eight gym badges can enter Victory Road." A guard at the gate said. 
Sunset opened her badge case. The guard used a scanner to look at the badges.
"These badges are indeed real." The guard praised. "You may enter."
The doors opened. The girls saw banners with pictures of the gym badges.
"Wow!" Izzy gasped. "This is awesome."
Sunset and company soon went down a tunnel until they saw a rock formation. It soon became stairs that went outside. The former bully was ready for anything. "Let's go, girls. The Pokémon League awaits."
