As her training continues, Sunset Shimmer decides to do some yoga stretches when the sun came up. While reaching up into the sky, Kirlia floats over to her.
"Oh. Hi, Kirlia." Sunset said. "Have you come to be with me?"
Kirlia nodded. Meanwhile, a young man with red hair watches the duo. He wore a white flannel shirt, teal pants and black shoes. He watched Sunset carefully. "So, that's Sunset Shimmer. I'll deal with this dame."
Later, Sunset was sitting cross legged with Kirlia sitting next to her.
"A nice quiet meditation is just what the doctor ordered." Sunset said quietly.
Soon, she heard a male voice. "Hello, Sunset Shimmer!"
Sunset Shimmer turned and saw who that voice belonged to. It was the young man who was watching her.
"Your journey ends here." The boy said roughly. "Time for you to go home!"
DOWNFALL AND COMEBACK
"My name is Alan Brawnson." The boy said. "And, I'm here to put a stop to your brutality."
"Another disbeliever." Sunset groaned as ahe stands up. "Whatever you're thinking, that's all in the past."
"Not for long!" Alan throws a Poké Ball. "Come out, Kadabra!"
Out pops a gold colored creature with cat like ears, a mustache, a long tail, and holding a spoon.
"Kadabra." Sunset gasped as she pulls out her Pokédex. "A psychic Pokémon."
Kadabra, the Psi Pokémon. The Pokédex said. Kadabra's presence seems to interfere with electronic devices.
"You won't get a chance to prepare, you She-Demon!" Alan growled. "Kadabra, Hypnosis!"
Kadabra let out a wave of hypnotic energy at Sunset. Soon, Alan yelled out a dark phrase. "NIGHTMARE MEMORY RECALL!"
Soon, bad memories flooded into Sunset’s mind. The time when she was a bully in Canterlot High School. The day she became a literal monster. The time when she was making up for her misdeeds, but Vice Principal Luna was staying doubtful. And, when people accused her for being the infamous Anon-A-Miss. When the flashbacks were over, Sunset soon got scared and ran off. "NOOOOOO!"
Sunset ran away crying. Kirlia used her psychic power to roll up Sunset’s mat, then followed her. After recalling Kadabra, Alan walked away satisfied. "That'll teach her not to fool anybody."
Inside the building, Sunset sat on her bed, crying her eyes out with Kirlia trying to comfort her. Sunny and Izzy are getting concerned.
"Poor Sunset." Sunny sighed. "I can't believe someone would bring back a few bad memories."
"I know." Izzy added. "It looks like it's going to take a lot to snap her out of this depression."
Hearing about what happened, Starlight Glimmer has an idea. "Time for me to make a few phone calls."
Later, Sunset and Kirlia went into the woods. Sunset is not sure why she is there. Just then, Twilight Sparkle and Spike came along.
"Twilight?" Sunset sobbed. "What are you doing here?"
"Sunset, my friend," Twilight replied, "I have come to help you."

Sunset couldn't help but hug Twilight, thanking her for her help. Sunset and Kirlia walked along a beach. She had her sneakers off, figuring walking barefoot in the sand feels good. Just then, Applejack and Rainbow Dash came along.
"Howdy, Sunset." Applejack greeted.
"Hi, Applejack." Sunset said. "Hi, Rainbow."
Rainbow Dash has on a red T shirt and black exercise shorts. She carries her sneakers. "You were right about one thing. Walking barefoot in the sand does feel good." She takes out a Poké Ball. "Check this out."
Out pops a four armed version on Machoke. Sunset studies this Pokémon with her Pokédex.
Machamp, the Superpower Pokémon and the evolved form of Machoke. The Pokédex said. It's four arms are useful to lift heavy objects.
"Rainbow's Machoke isn't the only Pokémon that evolved." Applejack said as she threw a Poké Ball. "Lookie here."
Out pops a large rock creature with many red crystals.
"A Gigalith." Sunset gasped. "The Compressed Pokémon."
Sunset’s Pokédex gave out some information. Gigalith, the Compressed Pokémon and the evolved form of Boldore. When the sun rises, it's crystals fill up with energy.
"They are awesome!" Sunset cheered. "I'll bet Gigalith and Machamp can be very helpful in construction sites."
"Ya know," Applejack replied, "we didn't think of that."
Sunset soon sat on a log admiring the view of the valley, and the many Pokémon that roam it. Her Kirlia was by her side.
"I'm happy you're here to comfort me too, Kirlia." Sunset said happily. "Of all the Pokémon I caught, you are one of the most caring ones."
Kirlia felt happy. Kirlia and Sunset hugged each other. Suddenly, Kirlia glowed and started changing. Soon, Kirlia looks like she's wearing a white gown and has green hair.
"Sweet Celestia." Sunset gasped as she pulls out her Pokédex. "My Kirlia just evolved into..."
Gardevoir, the Embrace Pokémon and the evolved form of Kirlia. The Pokédex said. This Pokémon is very protective of its trainer.
Sunset looked at her newly evolved Pokémon. "My two friends will love to meet you, Gardevoir."
"You have NO friends!" Called out the voice of an angry male.
Sunset and Gardevoir turned and saw Alan Brawnson and his Kadabra.
"I told you that your journey is over, Shimmer!" Alan yelled. "Now, GIVE UP YOUR POKÉMON!!!"
A sudden burst of water hit his Kadabra. Everybody saw Sunny, Izzy, and Lapras coming to the rescue.
"Are you okay, Sunset?" Izzy asked.
"I am now." Sunset replied. "You guys have come at a good time."
Sunny stepped up and confronted the bully. "Nobody hurts one of my friends. Come out, Vanilluxe! And, use Blizzard!"
Out popped a two headed version of Vanillish that blew a harsh arctic wind. This left trainer and Pokémon shaking with the cold.
"Talk about a chilly reception." Alan said as he recalled Kadabra. "Time to leave."
Alan ran away fast. Izzy was happy. "Let's hope that's the last of him."
Sunset looks at the new Pokémon as she studies it with her Pokédex. "Whoa. Vanilluxe, the Snowstorm Pokémon."
Vanilluxe, the Snowstorm Pokémon and the evolved form of Vanillish. The Pokédex said. When both heads get angry, they create a major blizzard.
"I guess I'm not the only one who's training Pokémon." Sunset said happily.
As Sunset hugs her two traveling companions, she is very grateful that she has friends to help her through hard times.
