On an Sunday afternoon, Twilight has an important appointment in the Crystal Empire and she's late.
"I'm late!!! I need to speed up" the purple Alicorn says. The quickest way is through the Canyons. Since it's impossible to fly through the Canyon on the upper path, Twilight has to run through that Canyon. On the lower path, you can actually fly through and that's what Rainbow Dash is doing. Suddenly, the cutie mark of the cyan Pegasus starts to glow. "I better hurry" Rainbow Dash says and speeds up. Suddenly, Twilight stumbles across a Stone that falls down the canyon and hits Rainbow Dash right on the head.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGHHHHHHHH!!!" Rainbow Dash gets unconscious immediately and falls down the canyon. Twilight notices that just in time. "Oh my Celestia... HOLD ON RAINBOW!!!" the Alicorn shouts, using her Magic to get Rainbow Dash safely on the top of the Canyon. Fortunately, Twilight didn't go alone. Spike was with her.
"Spike, could you please send an emergency letter to Cadence?" Twilight asks.
"Say no more!!!" Spike answers in a rush. Spike then writes the letter and sends it to Princess Cadence.
"A letter right now?" Princess Cadence asks in confusion and reads the letter.
"Dear Princess Cadence, there has been an incident in the Canyons near the Crystal Empire. Rainbow Dash got unconscious when she got hit by an rock. I'm sorry but Spike and I can't come. I don't even know if Rainbow Dash has survived the incident.

"OH MY GOODNESS!!!!" Princess Cadence says in shock. She writes an answer. A few seconds later, Twilight receives the letter and reads it.
"Dear Twilight, I understand what happened. There's an hospital in the Crystal Empire. Get there immediately. Rainbow Dash's life is in your hooves!!!

Twilight and Spike don't waste any time and they teleport with the unconscious Rainbow Dash into the Hospital where the doctors already wait.
"The Princess already told us what happened." the Doctor said and Rainbow Dash got brought to the intensive care unit as quickly as possible. Twilight and Spike follow towards Rainbow Dash's room. Princess Cadence rushed over to get an idea of the situation. Twilight suddenly starts crying." This is all my fault."
"Twilight, you had no idea that Rainbow Dash was down there flying in the Canyon" Spike says.
"She's going to be alright Twilight." Princess Cadence says with an comforting voice and hugs Twilight. Twilight returns the hug and cries harder. "I hate myself for that!!!! If she dies, I'm totally responsible for it!!!"
"Don't be so harsh on yourself Twilight..." Princess Cadence says and puts her hoof on Twilight's shoulder. "Accidents happen sometimes"
About 50 minutes later, Applejack and Fluttershy arrive with Nurse Redheart.
"Rainbow Dash is really lucky... A few feet higher and she would have no chance to survive" Fluttershy says.
"Ah' think that Rainbow Dash will recover well..." Applejack says. Then Nurse Redheart speaks.
"I'm afraid to say it but there's a 50/50 chance that Rainbow Dash might not survive it."
Twilight starts crying. "She has to survive!!! It's... It's all my fault..."
A few days later, Rainbow Dash finally wakes up from her Coma. "ugh... What happened?!" the cyan Pegasus asks.
"You've got hit by an rock on the head. A few feet higher and you wouldn't be able to speak to us" Nurse Redheart answers.
"We were so worried about you Darling" Rarity says. "you didn't appear in the Castle"
"Also Twilight was gone for very long, so we all knew that an accident could have happened." Applejack says.
"If we had known you didn't make it, I wouldn't smile anymore" Pinkie Pie says.
"Speaking of Twilight, where is she?" Fluttershy asks. "I haven't seen her since we've got here."
Due to that accident, Twilight has fallen into a depression and has been crying for 3 hours with a few breaks between that crying. She didn't leave her house since she was in the hospital, checking on Rainbow Dash. Spike is really worried about Twilight and comforts her as good as possible.
"Twilight, don't worry... Rainbow Dash will be fine." the Dragon says.
"But what if not... What if she doesn't make it..." Twilight says in tears.
"She will make it, I'm sure about it." Spike responds. "do you mind if I go checking on Rainbow Dash?" the Dragon asks.
"I don't mind it... Actually I want to know how she is" Twilight answers.
A few minutes Later, Spike arrives at the Hospital.
"hello Spike" Fluttershy says. "where's Twilight?"
"everything else than fine. She probably fell into a depression because of the accident" Spike answers. "She still believes that it's her fault."
"WHAT?!" Rainbow Dash reacts in shock. "She was at that Canyon?!"
Applejack nods. "Ya' know... Twilight didn't know you were down there as she stumbled over that rock. It was really unfortunate."
Rainbow Dash starts to worry about Twilight. "I need to see her" the Pegasus says.
"unfortunately you have to stay one more night." Nurse Redheart says.
"I hope Twilight can handle this" Spike says in concern.
It's already in the evening and Princess Cadence came to say hello to Rainbow Dash. They had a long conversation that lasted until the evening. A few hours later in the noon, Rainbow Dash was released from the Hospital. The datas showed no critical injuries anymore and no further damage caused by the accident aftershocks.
Rainbow Dash then visits Twilight Sparkle to say hello. She knocks on the door.
"Hi there Spike" Rainbow says. "Where's Twilight?"
"She is upstairs. Shall we go up?" Spike answers.
"sure" Rainbow says.
When Rainbow Dash and Spike go upstairs, they can hear Twilight crying. Rainbow Dash storms gently through the doors. "Twilight, I'm here!!!" Rainbow says. Twilight looks up through her tears. "RAINBOW!!!" Twilight responds and hugs Rainbow tightly. "I'm so sorry for what I did." Rainbow Dash hugs the lavender Alicorn back and rubs her back.
Twilight starts crying hard. "It was all my fault!!! I'M A TERRIBLE FRIEND!!! I ALMOST CAUSED YOUR DEATH!!!!"
"it's not your fault Twilight... It was just an accident..." Rainbow Dash answers.
"I'm Sorry for wasting your time..." Twilight cries.
"it's okay Twilight... Just let it all out..." Rainbow Dash answers. "I'm here for you"
Twilight then bursts into tears and half an hour later, the Alicorn stops crying.
"do you feel better now?" Rainbow asks with a soft voice. Twilight nods and wipes her tears out of her eyes.
"we should go now, Pinkie has prepared a Party. We shouldn't miss it." Spike says.
And with that Twilight, Rainbow and Spike are leaving for Pinkie's Party
