(New Intro!)
Amidst a torn and broken landscape, Goku proceeds to walk forward with a fierce look of determination on his features. Image of his latest battles flashes above before he transforms into a Super Saiyan. Spike lands beside his master. The top portion of his Gi is gone, allowing two new sets of wings to expand from his back. He is noticeably taller and more muscular than before. Images of the remaining dragons and Ember roll in Spike's mind while his aura flares. It is now green with a shimmering gold outline. On Goku's left, an alicorn sharing some aspect of Scootaloo's features lands. She is as tall as Princess Celestia with a vibrant wingspan as long as Spike's. Flashes of the elements having a slumber party with the crusaders appear. Her aura flared out, and her magic as the trio came to a stop. The trio glare into a haze as Majin Buu emerges with Cozy sitting on his shoulder and several shadow figures behind them.
On The Supreme Kai planet, Gohan vigorously trains with the Z sword under the watchful eyes of Kibito and Supreme Kai. However, the sword begins to emit a bright light before the appearance of an Elder Supreme kai shocks the group. He holds his hand towards the boy as Gohan releases a bellow while his aura towers into the sky. Back on Equis, Chrysalis scoffs at the new Changeling kingdom as she starts to turn away. However, Ocellus grabs her hand and pleads with the former queen. The minor nymph points to the ominous aura in the distance. Chrysalis's features soften for a moment before she sighs and flies off. Sombra holds a box containing stone fragments from somewhere else while he stares at them. A hand grips his shoulder as he turns to his wife and daughter. He hugs them before his loving smile turns stoic at the Glow over the horizon. He breaks the hug and flies over to it.
Sombra and Chrysalis land next to Goku's group as they power up. The shadows behind Buu begin to morph into a slender shape as it smiles sinisterly at our assembled heroes with red eyes. It crosses its arms as its clothes flowing in the wind with the prominent Majin insignia upon its belt shines. However, several shadows from behind our heroes as well. The first is a boy sporting a cocky smile before a golden aura forms around him. Next to him were various other creatures native to Equis. Finally, another figure with spiky hair floats to meet the other shadow. The sparkle of its earrings catches the light as the opposing forces face each other. Buu made silly gestures with his tongue while Cozy flashed a cute smile before it turned manic. Goku narrows his eyes but sports a confident smile as he becomes a Super Saiyan 3 and leads the charge.
[Planet Earth - Ruined Terrain - Third Person POV.]
"Well!? I am waiting. Come on! Let's finish our battle!!!" Buu stated.
"I think we should do it!" Applebloom stated.
"Yeah, this way Gohan won't be in danger again," Sweetie Belle whispered.
Scootaloo felt conflicted. She wanted to honor her stallions' wishes. But she couldn't bear the thought of Gohan vanishing or truly dying this time. "Alright, let's do it. Everyone form up!"
"Are you sure, boss mare?" Gallus said.
"I don't mind turning that pink wad into taffy again!" Smolder said, taking a position by Gallus.
"I'm not sure," Silverstream said. "Buu's losing now. Should we get involved?"
"Of course, we should! He's callings chicken!" Trunks stated.
"Yona is a Yak, not chicken,"
"I don't think that's what he meant," Sandbar said.
"As long as we're careful, let's do it!" Ocellus stated.
"Yeah!" Goten supported.
Everyone got in position as Buu smirked. Unbeknownst to anyone else, several globs of Buu's flesh were lying in wait. Regardless, the fusion began with Sweetie and Applebloom. Then, everyone else followed suit in perfect synchronization. "So, that's what fusion looks like?" Gohan said in awe.
Blooming Essence cracks her knuckles as the other fusion stands behind her. "I hope you don't have any buyer's remorse!"
Buu merely chuckles as he spreads his arms out wide. "Yes, you all will provide me with everything I want and more!"
Confusion adorns everyone's faces before a pink blob engulfs Blooming from behind. "Wha--"
Shock and panic became rampant as Gotenks, and the fusion were next. "Hey! Get this gunk off of me!" The fused Saiyan struggled.
"It's everywhere!!!" Silverstream panicked.
"I can't break free!!!" Ocena said, shapeshifting parts of her body to free herself, only to fail.
Galder spewed fire in every direction, but the mass of pink goop refused to yield. "What is this stuff!?"
Soon, several desperate grunts went off as Gohan turned to see Piccolo, Spike, Ember, and Sombra in similar distress. "Father/Sombra!!!" Hope and her daughter cry out.
"S-stay back!" Sombra said in a strained tone. The light from his horn peaked through the little gaps in the flesh.
"E-Ember!!!" Spike grunted out.
"S-Spike!!!" Ember responded desperately. The two dragons reached out to each other. Alas, the glob of flesh merely molded around the two as it combined.
"Twilight, watch out!!!" Rainbow called out as more pink blobs encircled Equestria's royalty. The prismatic mare was quick enough to sweep Twilight to safety. Unfortunately, the remaining princess we not so lucky.
"Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Cadence!!!" Twilight cried from the air. She watched in horror as her fellow princess came under attack. She didn't have time to lament as the blob meant for her shot up after the two mares.
"MOMMY!!! AUNTIE TWILIGHT!!!" Flurry screamed. It took Pinkie, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity to keep her away.
"No, you don't! Ha!!!" Gohan shouted, firing a Ki blast and destroying Buu's flesh.
Majin Buu didn't even seem bothered by the minor setback as he grinned wildly. "Now, come to me!!!" Suddenly, all the blobs that trapped most of our heroes shot toward Buu. The chunks morphed back onto its master seamlessly while Buu's body began transforming.
"What is he doing to them!?" Rarity shrieked.
"Don't just stand there! Do something! It's got mah sister!!!" Applejack pleaded Gohan.
"I-I don't know what I can do without hurting them!" Gohan said through gritted teeth.
"It's already too late. Buu absorbed them," Dende confirmed with fear.
Hercule clutches Pine tightly as he and Blueblood duck behind cover. "Hey! Does that mean he's going to absorb all of us?"
"It's likely, yes. But, Buu seemed to go after our strongest fighters,"
"Then, you both must protect me at all cost. Equestria cannot lose all of its royalty in one fell swoop!" Blueblood whimpered.
"And, without the other princesses, we can't perform the sealing spell!" Twilight added as a horrific realization crossed her mind.
Buu continued to grunt as his body lost all its features before reshaping. The Metamorese garb vest appeared over Buu's chest while feathery dragon wings flared out from his back. On Buu's forehead was a spiral nub that changed through many colors. Finally, Buu's face took a more pony-like muzzle while a purple haze of smoke followed from the corner of his eyes. Having been freed when Buu launched his attack, Cozy Glow flew up to him in excitement. She flies all over Buu while accessing his new changes.
"Wow, Mister Buu, you look amazing. That muzzle is a nice touch. And, your wing looks cool!"
"Yes, I am enjoying the changes as well. So, Gohan, what do you think of it? New clothes to match my figure and a few new abilities," Buu flicked his new engaged antenna against his footing, shattering it instantly. "And, best of all, no more pesky magicians pulling their usual tricks. Such a shame, isn't my faithful student?"
Twilight sends a baleful glare at the monster using her former mentors' wording. "You are not my teacher! I'm still free. I can still seal you away! I can still oppose you. And I am not alone!!!" The rest of the elements rallied behind their friend.
Buu could only chuckle loudly at the declaration. "I eliminated all those with any real power to beat me. You don't have your little trinkets anymore. So, how will you seal me away? You don't have enough magic to perform the spell. Perhaps you could enlist the aid of Flurry Heart and Radiant Hope," Buu glanced down at the mare holding her weeping daughter. "At least she was more talented,"
"How do you know them!?"
"You're using Sombra's memories! All of their memories!!!!" Radiant Hope accused.
"And, she far more perspective. No wonder Celestia and Luna wanted her to be the Crystal Empire's ruler before you. Maybe even go back into Equestria and enlist Starlight or Sunburst again. Face it. The power that you have only amount to the ponies beside you. And, they are sorely lacking,"
Buu turns his glance at Diamond and Silverspoon. "And then we have the extra meat bags. The only two mares in this little party were more worthless than the princess and her merry band. But, at least there's a vacancy for the alpha mare position,"
Diamond and Silverspoon balked at that. Gohan had enough. He flickers from his position and throws a hook at Buu's face. The Majin sways back to dodge as the two face off. "Hey! Do you forget about someone!?"
"Of course not, Gohan. I went through all this for you. I am glad the apparent loss of your friends and family hasn't affected you. Now we can finish our fight,"
"You have no honor! Sneaking up and attacking them when their guard was down!"
"It's your fault alone, kid. You could've beaten me the moment you arrived. Didn't your mother teach you not to play with your food?"
"Enough!"
Gohan and Buu charge forward as their fists meet. Jumping back, both Buu and Gohan clashed against each other at blinding speeds before exchanging blows. Buu's performance was vastly different from their earlier bout. He scores a straight punch against Gohan's face. The Saiyan warrior retaliates with his elbow striking Buu's chin. Buu counters with an uppercut to Gohan's stomach. At the same time, Gohan hits back with a roundhouse kick to Buu's face. Gohan pushes his advantage and throws an ax kick at Buu's head. However, the Majin caught the limb and tossed Gohan to the ground. A trail of destruction followed his path as he skids across the landscape. Buu sported a smile as he gave chase.
However, Gohan recovers and launches an energy blast. Buu caught it in his hands, but the force pushed him back. Snarling, Buu launches a shot of his own. His attack begins to move Gohan's back, causing the Saiyan to grit his teeth and apply more power. The two beams were in a stalemate as neither warrior relented. Thus, the attacks cancel each other out in a brilliant explosion. Unfortunately, the strength of the detonation knocks Gohan back to the ground. Buu curls back into his ball form and shoots at Gohan like a cannonball. The Saiyan raised on Earth saw this and flipped away to safety. But, Buu changed his course. Gohan finds his footing before charging Buu again with his left leg extended. Buu uncurls himself and mirrors Gohan with his right. The two collided in a duel exchange, causing visible damage to each other. Buu and Gohan recover and land on different plates glaring at each other.
"Yes, this is fun. Let's do it again,"
"You think toying with others' lives is fun?"
Buu shrugs his shoulders. "You say that like their lives are worth something. But, it's not like you are any different from them. You're not as strong as you may think. So, I'm giving you the chance to give up. There's no shame in quitting after all,"
"Save your mind games for someone else. I spent a lot of time training for this. A few words won't stop me," Taking a stance similar to his father, Gohan continued. "And, you see the results right now,"
Taking a stance of his own, Buu responded. "So far, you're coming up lacking. Why didn't you save your brother and mare friends if you are powerful? They're all wondering the same thing right now,"
Gohan growled n response and made the first move. Shock adorns Gohan's features as he leads with a kick when Buu effortlessly catches it. Gohan tried attacking with his free leg. But Buu saw that one as well. "Gohan! What are you doing? That attack was obvious!" Buu said in Piccolo's voice, causing Gohan's eyes to widen. Buu snakes his antenna down and wraps it around Gohan's neck. "What are you doing? You're making us look bad, Gohan!" Buu said again in Gotenks voice. Buu whips his head around and slams Gohan against the ground. "I thought we could trust you," Gohan's eyes widen further at the sound of his mares' conjoined voices. Buu sinisterly laughs as he shows a vicious hook against Gohan's cheek.
Buu releases his hold at the moment of impact before firing another blast. Gohan flew through several rock faces before catching himself. "Aah!!!" He yelled while nursing the bruise on his cheek.
"Gohan! Watch out!!!" Dende alerted.
Sadly, Gohan only had time to turn as the pink beam engulfed him. Another explosion shook the landscape as Twilight and Hope shielded everyone. "Gohan!!!" Diamond called out.
"You have to do something, princess!" Silverspoon pleaded as the explosion subsided.
Twilight squints her eyes to find Gohan. But, smoke obscured her vision. "I can't see what's going on!"
"Well, we have to do something!' Rainbow stated.
"Yes, do something. As the element bearers, you must protect me. Oh, and the other less important rabble, but mostly me!" Prince Blueblood cowered.
"Urgh! I cannot believe I ever saw anything you!" Rarity groaned.
"Unfortunately, I don't think we can do anything," Dende stated. "But Gohan isn't finished yet,"
On the battlefield, Buu stands perched on a rock overlooking the dust cloud. He shot another blast to clear away the smoke while he begins to taunt Princess Luna's voice. "Disgraceful. You proudly declare Buu's destruction. Yet, you hide away like a coward. Sir Goku was the better warrior and hero!" Down in the clouds, Gohan clenched his fist tightly. "If you insist upon hiding, I shall give you a reason to the contrary!" Buu held out his left hand before a scythe appeared in it.
Everyone in the vicinity winced as a chilling wind swept past them. As Radiant Hope gasped in horror, Frost and snow danced in a gale of wind. "Repentance! He's using Luna's weapon!!!"
"What!?" The elements shrieked.
"T-that shouldn't be possible! That weapon is tied directly to the princess--"
Twilight began before Radiant Hope finished. "--The princess who is now a part of that monster!"
"W-what does that mean?" Fluttershy dreaded the answer.
Buu swings the scythe with a devilish smirk, and a wave of ice blanketed the area. Gohan saw this and leaped into the air, evading a chunk of ice shooting up after him. Buu re-engages the Saiyan with repentance, throwing several swipes that put Gohan on the defensive. Each slash froze the very air as the blade traveled. The temperature was rapidly matching the vicinity of a polar ice cap. Gohan felt himself slowing down. The air was getting thinner, and it was a struggle to focus under the relentless cold. The scythe glowed with an ominous aura as Buu aimed it at his foe. A white beam shot from the blade as Gohan dodges. However, the radius suddenly increased and grazed his right shoulder. The wound froze over and traveled down Gohan's arm, to everyone else's horror. Gohan hovered in the air, hunched over and down one arm as Buu smirked.
"Is something wrong, boy? You look like you could use a hand,"
"Urgh! D-damn, you!!!" Gohan said through gritted teeth, his voice quivering from the chilling sensation.
"Here. Why don't I turn up the heat a bit?" In Buu's free hand, a familiar trident forms. An intense orange aura emanated from the weapon as the temperature rose.
Buu flickers from sight as he thrusts the trident. Gohan felt a piercing burning sensation on his frozen shoulder. "Aaargh!!!" Looking over the new wound, Gohan found it cauterized. He couldn't form any rebuttal as Buu went on the attack.
"Now, he's using Celestia's trident!" Twilight exclaimed.
"That dirty thief!" Rainbow Dash scowled.
"I think we can assume Buu can use all our friends' abilities now that he's absorbed them," Dende summarized.
Gohan desperately weaves past Buu's assault with the formidable weapons of the sun and moon. The constant change from freezing to scolding disoriented Gohan. Every swipe of the scythe came with a thrust of the trident. Gritting his teeth, Gohan summons his aura. The ice that clung to his arm broke off as he grabbed Buu's wrists. Gohan thrust a kick into Buu's stomach, making the Majin wince. Gohan follows up with a knee to Buu's jaw, throwing the pink terror's head back. Gohan focuses his Ki into his right fist and thrusts it at Buu's head, intending to end the battle right then and there. However, Buu lunges forward to meet the blow. Gohan struck dead center against Buu's face, causing a shock wave. The two warriors remained stock before blood trickled down Buu's forehead. But, it was not Majin's blood that spilled. Gohan bites back a scream of anguish as he looks at Buu in disbelief. Two sets of dragon scales coated red with Gohan's blood shined in the sunlight. Buu licks at the blood dripping over his muzzle, smiling even more expansive than before.
"Dragon scales are amazing, aren't they?" Buu spoke in Spike's voice before switching to Ember's. "They are more robust than any diamond. Add that with my power - plus two dragons - and I've become invulnerable! But that's not the only perk!"
Buu discards Celestia and Luna's weapons as his nails extend to razor points. Gohan's world exploded in pain with a single swipe of his hand. "Aah!" Backing away, Gohan clenches his chest as five slash marks align on his Gi. Buu pushes his advantage, attacking the Saiyan raised on Earth with furious slash attacks. Gohan felt he was fighting a manticore with how ferocious Buu was now. Gohan was so focused on dodging the claws that he neglected Buu's other weapons. With a mighty flap of his new wings, Buu knocks Gohan back. Following up, Buu extends his arms to impossible lengths as it connects with Gohan's face. The appendage used Gohan's body as a battering ram through multiple rock formations. Gohan stood up from his crash as he glared at Buu. However, his glare turned into shock as Buu placed two fingers on his forehead. "No way!!!"
Flurry Heart saw this, and angry tears began to swell in her eyes. "He's dishonoring Mister Piccolo now!"
Cadence quickly grabs her daughter as she tries to join the battle. "Flurry! Stay close! You can't go out there!"
"...Special Beam Cannon!" Buu called out.
Unlike Piccolo's technique, this attack was as big as the Masenko. Gohan raised his arms to defend himself as the beam collided with him. The force embedded Gohan deep into the Earth. But, the Saiyan held firm despite screaming in pain. The attack detonated in another explosion, forcing the others to seek shelter again. The dust clears the way to reveal Gohan standing, but he soon collapses to one knee. There were more signs of damage over his body while Buu touched down. He confidently strolls over to Gohan and kneels before him with a smug grin.
"I wasn't expecting these abilities to be so potent. Especially coming from those weaklings. But, how was that Special Beam Cannon? Better than the original?"
"..." Goha kept his head bowed.
"Hmm? Hello in there? You're letting everyone down again," That earned a snarl as Gohan quickly shot a beam at point-blank. However, Buu dodges back and holds out his hand. Just as Gohan got up to charge, all his movements stopped. "Surprised?" Buu said in Sand Streams' voice. "That hippogriff hybrid has some interesting moves as well. They were able to manipulate the water around and inside of me completely. Like so..."
Gohan suddenly felt his fist collide with his face. Buu waved his finger and made Gohan strike the left side of his face. He did this several times before holding an outstretched hand, making Gohan lock up. "You know, there was another move Silverstream did. They used my blood as spikes to piece me from within. My body can handle such an attack. How will yours fair?"
Buu instantly closed his hand and slowly pulled it back. "AAA-AAAAH-AAAARG!!!!" Gohan cried out in pure agony. All at once, Gohan felt millions of needles threatening to shoot out of his body. Then, as quickly as the most intense pain he's ever felt came, it stopped.
"But, that would be too easy. And far too messy. I have the powers of the strengths beings in the universe. And, I am going to use each one to kill you!" Buu yanks his hand back as blood spurts from Gohan's mouth, eyes, and ears.
[Land of the Kais.]
"This is horrible! Gohan is practically defenseless!!!" Goku exclaimed.
"It's my fault. I should've told you all about Buu's absorption technique," Shin gritted his teeth in anger. "It was the same technique he used to slay the Supreme Kai's of old!"
"Seeing as the boy back that monster into a corner, it must be a desperation move. If you can't beat them, absorb them—an effective strategy," Chrysalis comments.
"That strategy will mean the end of us all!" Kibito stated.
"Hmm, perhaps there is another way," Elder kai mumbles.
"Huh? What do you mean, old Kai?" Goku asks.
"Buu has gained immense power by becoming a fused being. What if we had a fused being as well?"
"More fusion? But, who do we have left that's strong enough?"
"Don't misunderstand. We won't be using that lesser fusion dance. We'll be using these..."The old Kai gestures to his earrings. "These are the Portara earrings. If two people put one piece on the opposing ear of each other, their bodies will join together without the need for a dance,"
"Really? I had not known about this feature," Shin said before looking to Kibito. "Kibito. You take off your left earring while I take off mine--"
Elder Kai lightly smacks his successor on the head. "What is it with you youngsters being so impulsive. The union under the Portara is permanent, you know,"
Both Kibito and Shin flinched at that. "...I see, thank you, elder," Shin said meekly.
"So, wait? You want me and Chrysalis to fuse?" Goku asks.
"Not even if that monster appeared before this instant!" Chrysalis vehemently denies it.
"Haha, yeah. I think Chi-Chi would find it strange if she saw that I was half bug," Chrysalis sent a death glare at Goku for that remark. "Besides, We're both dead. My time on Earth is over,"
The old Kai tilts his head in mock confusion. "Come now, I wouldn't suggest fusion so that you can waste like that. I meant your fusion with your son, as for you being dead. Well, that's an easy fix. I can give you the remaining life inside of me. That way, you won't be hindered by a time limit,"
"Venerable Elder! That is bizarre behavior! You cannot sacrifice your life to handle a single situation..." Kibito stated before hesitating near the end.
"As usual, you are missing the bigger picture. After Earth, Majin Buu will come here,"
"If that is true, then let me give up my life. Majin Buu has been my enemy to destroy for eons. Yet, repeatedly, I have failed! I must be the one to pay my debt!" Shin argued.
"What!? No, master!!!" Kibito pleaded.
"..." Goku said nothing in the face of such selflessness.
"You're ambitious but far too hard on yourself. Let the older man give up their lives so that the young ones can live," Elder Kai said.
"...My dear Kai..." Shin said solemnly.
Elder Kai smiles as he sits down. "Well, get on with it!" Chrysalis said impatiently.
"Relax. A beauty such as yourself will get wrinkly if you rush things," Elder Kai said, earning a scoff from the changeling queen. "I can see you eager to reunite with that nymph,"
Chrysalis stammers before replying. "You presume too much,"
"Do I now? It is only natural for a mother to worry about her children," Completely frustrated, Chrysalis turns away in a huff. "It won't take long,"
"But still, what are we supposed to do?" Goku asks.
Elder Kai merely smiles one last time. "I'll see you later," He closes his eyes as everyone feels a sudden pulse before collapsing.
Shin looks on in shock while Kibito falls to his knees in remorse. Even Chrysalis reminds us to be silent as a sacrifice such as this demands respect. Goku looks up at his halo to find his and Chrysalis's faded away. Looking back down, Goku softly utters. "Goodbye, old Kai. I promise I won't let this go to waste!"
Immediately, Elder Kai rises back up with a look of irritation. "Then, hurry up!!" Our heroes cried out in shock, not expecting Elder Kai to return in this fashion as he supported a halo. "What are you doing!? You're standing there looking like fools when you should be saving the universe!"
"Ah-hehe..." Goku could only laugh at the absurdity of the situation.
