//------------------------------// // Never be alone (Short chapter.) // Story: My little Sirens // by CaioCoia //------------------------------// What is the strongest creature in Equestria? Dragons? Basilisks? Timber Wolves? Pony eater fishes? No, they can be, but the answer is more abstract and yet symbolic...It's Ursas... Why? Because there is something that makes us stronger than any other creature from the Entire Equestria, a creature inside of many stallions and mares that can make them become fiercer than any soldier, angrier than an Ursa Major, and crueler than any pony in Tartarus itself... It's parenthood... a parent inside of each of us that could make the foolest of the fathers and mothers become wiser on how to take care of their kin, become instinctively more dangerous than any creature of Everfree Forest just to protect their children... it's a basic instinct that can transform anypony into an Ursa Major, that's why Ursas were almost the representation of parenthood... Nobody would be stupid to touch the kin of an Ursa, and that's why every parent has an Ursa inside of them... True Parents never let something happen to their kin, and they would kill and die to save and protect their children... That's our instinct, and that's what makes us stronger than ever. Can't breath... weak...dark...hot...too hot...daddy... save...me... "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, NO, NO HAHAHAHAHA, THE SPELL'S DEACTIVATED, I CAN'T HAHAHA STOP HAHAHAHAH LAUGHING HAHAHAHA... I MUST HAHAHAHA, SAVE HAHAHAHA, ADAGIO HAHAHAHAHA." . . . Weak...hot...pain...cannot breathe... daddy... "It's just a mountain Star Swirl, you don't have time to stop. You must go... for her...FOR HER. SARD WHY A BASILISK LION IS DOING HERE?" . . . Hot, everything is so hot... can't breathe... daddy... help... "Hold still Adagio. I'm almost there...You SARDING CREATURES DIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE." . . . Hot, daddy...can't...breath...daddy. "Please...save...her." . . . Breath...relief...hot...wet...can't...open...eyes... daddy... . . . Relief...warm...daddy, I'm okay. I remained on the floor, but I used all my strength to keep watching Adagio being treated slowly in my front. Meadowbrook repeated the slow process, and I'm grateful that she was keeping all her focus on her. I will care about myself after Adagio is fine. My clone must have received my signal after I released the magic... So this means that sooner or later he will teleport the girls here... Finally I can breathe in relief... Faust, thank you for giving me strength. "Starswirl." Meadowbrook finally broke the silence as I made sure my eyes look at her. The potion she made was finally empty as Adagio was on her forelegs, carrying her over my body. "It seems that you can finally breathe now... your daughter is finally recovering. Her throat isn't closing anymore, and her temperature is getting more balanced and stable... she just needs a few more hours of sleep, and then she can wake up." "Faust bless you Meadowbrook." I expressed my most sincere gratitude as I finally could see the semblance of my little sire in front of me, my forelegs embraced her as much gentle I could do, and finally...I felt my eyes getting heavy and meet the black view of the slumber I avoided so much. The final touches of the runes are almost ready, I'm exhausted as I passed hours developing the teleportation runes to the original source. As days passed I did my best to work in limited magic until I receive the confirmation of my other body is safe. "DADDY." A voice screamed as broke from my concentration and managed to get away from my lab the quickest as possible, I went directly to the room of the girls the fast as I could, and at the time I went there. I saw Sonata crying over her bed. "I had a bad dream again." I felt the pain in my chest, never in my life have I felt so useless as I'm at this moment... I as a clone was supposed to help them, but I felt powerless on how life is so unfair and unkind in a terrible way... Faust why this has happened to Adagio? Why not me and the original? They are just fillies. "It's okay Sonata, I'm here. Everything is fine." I held my youngest in my hooves. "Your father is here. I will never let anything happen to you all." "Daddy... where is Dagi? I miss her." Sonata sniffed her tears, as I carefully cleaned them for her. "She is safe. I'm doing my best to protect her. I know somepony who can cure her. And we will visit her once she gets there." I assured her as she hugged me. I did my best to remain strong, but deep inside of me, I never prayed so much for Faust to make sure nothing happened to her. I don't know how my other half is doing it. But I felt my magic getting weaker and weaker hour after hour. "Do you want me to be at your side until you go to sleep?" "Yes, daddy..." Sonata mumbled as her face was deep into my chest, as I felt the cold tears forming on her face again... I did my best to make sure that Sonata can go back to sleep. And I noticed that Aria didn't move even an inch from her bed. This leads me to sigh once again... "Aria... I know you are awake." I said as I approached her bed, I hear the sniffs coming from her, Faust please give me strength. "It's fine." "No... it isn't... daddy... Adagio is hurt." Aria whimpered as I managed to seat on her bed. And I inclined my head to her, her eyes were sore and red for crying so much. "Yes, she is..." I didn't sugarcoat her, not my daughter. "But I know she will be fine in no time." "How can you be sure?" Aria turned her head to me. As I gently patted her mane. "Because I know somepony who gave her best to cure her own mother, and I'm sure that if she sees Adagio, she wouldn't refuse to help me... Especially if I've really despaired for her help." I know the stories of all the pillars, and for me, Meadowbrook is my only hope to save her. I prayed to Faust for being the case. "Adagio is going to be fine?" Aria mumbled trying to have hope once again. "You know me Aria, I would never let anything happen to you all. I'm sure soon we will visit her." I assured Aria who seemed to be so down and trying to hide her tears from me, but I know her... So I know how to cheer her up. "I'm doing a circle of teleportation... at the moment I know Adagio is fine I will use it to teleport us to her... Do you want to see me doing it?" Seeing her eyes go wide open as my suggestion made me smile at the moment she nodded slowly to me. "Yes, daddy." Faust please... save my daughter...
