Hello, podcast fans. This is Pipp Petals with a special report. It seems that the criminal organization known as Team Flare has plans to use an ultimate weapon to wreck the world. Lysandre said it's to wipe the slate clean. Personally,  I think he's a little nutty. Fortunately,  Sunset Shimmer and her two comrades are heading to Lumiose City to stop this madness from happening. I'll keep you posted with more information as it comes. Pipp Petals,  signing off.
Luster and her two companions watched the podcast, and hope Sunset can stop Lysandre.
"Sunset is either brave or reckless." Smolder said. "Those crooks will probably bringing in those four scientists she faced before."
"Smolder is right." Ocelus added. "This is a brutal quest."
"Maybe." Luster said with confidence. "But, I have faith in Sunset. She, Izzy, and Sunny faced those scientific goons before." She then had a scary thought. "I wonder how she'll face Lysandre."


INVADING TEAM FLARE
Part 1


As Sunset and company entered the cafe, they were greeted by two friendly looking waiters.
"Good morning, ladies." The male waiter greeted. "I'm here to serve." He pulls out a Poké Ball. "Serve you some pain! Go, Scrafty!"
Scrafty pops out. Sunny steps up. " Go, Quilladin!"
Quilladin is ready for battle. The waiter is not impressed. "Scrafty, Chop at it with Chip Away!"
Scrafty starts chipping at Quilladin. But, Sunny isn't worried. "Quilladin, strike back with Needle Arm!"
Quilladin struck fast, and nailed the Hoodlum Pokémon. Sunny followed it up. "Finish it up with Seed Bomb!"
The Spiny Armor Pokémon blasted Scrafty with a barrage of seeds. This had the waiter nervous. "Return, Scrafty. These dames will learn that the secret phrase is 'Open Sesame'."
"I shall take your order." The female waiter said as she takes out a Poké Ball. "Your order for a surrender. Go, Liepard!"
Liepard comes out and roars at the girls. Izzy steps up. "I'll make this quick. Come out, Lapras. Then, use Water Pulse!"
Lapras pops out and sprays Liepard with a power geyser. Seeing her Pokémon confused, the female waiter recalls it. "Darn! Those girls will know that the bookcase hides a secret door."
Getting ideas, Izzy looks at the door and says the password. "Open Sesame!"
The bookcase moves to reveal a hidden door. After recalling their Pokémon, the heroic trio runs up a staircase. The were soon met at the top by Lysandre. 
"So, you have come to prevent mass destruction." Lysandre said. "Prove to me your determination with a Pokémon battle, Miss Shimmer!"
"With pleasure." Sunset replied. "You'll regret deceiving me."
"Here's my first Pokémon. Go, Mienfoo!"
Mienfoo comes out to battle. Sunset knows her first choice. "Delphox,  let's go."
Delphox pops out and is ready for action.
"Mienfoo," Lysandre orders, "use Force Palm!"
Mienfoo rushed in with its hand glowing. Sunset has a counter to this. "Delphox, Psyshock!"
Delphox unleashed psychic energy to quickly knock out Mienfoo. 
"Psychic power won't stop my next Pokémon." Lysandre said as he recalls Mienfoo. "Go, Murkrow!"
Out pops a black crow. Sunset's Pokédex gave her some information. Murkrow, the Darkness Pokémon. These nasty birds usually fly  around at night.
Sunset studies the situation,  and has an idea. "Delphox, return." She calls for her next choice. "Pikachu, I choose you!"
Pikachu is ready for battle. Lysandre is not impressed. "Time to short this rodent out. Murkrow, use Night Shade!"
A wave of black energy came at Pikachu. Sunset quickly reacted. "Dodge, then use Thunderbolt!"
After dodging the Night Shade attack, Pikachu unleashed electricity on Murkrow. The black bird quickly fainted. Lysandre recalled his Pokémon. 
"You have become quite a formidable opponent." Lysandre said as he pulls out his third Pokémon. "Let's see how you handle this. Go, Pyroar!"
Out pops a lion with a red and orange mane.
"Pyroar." Sunset gasped as she pulls out her Pokédex. "That's Litleo's evolved form."
Pyroar, the Royal Pokémon and the evolved form of Litleo.  The Pokédex said. It protects it pride by any means necessary. 
"Pikachu, return." Sunset said as she calls for her next Pokémon. "Krookodile, I choose you!"
Lysandre sees Krookodile, and is very impressed. "Not bad. Let's see how Krookodile handles my Pokémon. Pyroar, Fire Fang!"
With a mouth full of fire, Pyroar charges at Krookodile. Sunset quickly reacted. "Krookodile, show him that new move you practiced. Use Earthquake!"
Krookodile jumped up, and came down hard. The force of the impact struck Pyroar so hard, he fainted. Lysandre recalled Pokémon and prepared his last Pokémon. 
"Here's your last opponent." Lysandre said. "Gyarados!"
Out pops a blue serpentine type creature. Sunset was shocked with the information from her Pokédex. 
Gyarados, the Atrocious Pokémon. The Pokédex said. According to legend,  this Pokémon wrecked a whole town after someone offended it.
Having an idea, Sunset recalled Krookodile,  and called for her next Pokémon. "Gabite, I choose you!"
Gabite is ready for battle. Lysandre is unimpressed.
"How pathetic." Lysandre said with disgust. "Gyarados, use Aqua Tail!"
Gyarados' tail was surrounded by water. Just as it's going to strike Gabite, Sunset reacted. "Use Dig to dodge it!"
Gabite went underground to avoid the Aqua Tail. Gyarados looked around for its opponent. Sunset quickly gave a command. "Come back out and use Dragon Rage!"
Gabite emerged and breathed out green flames to strike at Gyarados. Sunset then followed it up. "Now, Gabite. Dual Chop!"
Gabite  chopped Gyarados twice. It was so powerful, Gyarados fainted. After recalling Gyarados, Lysandre realized that he's outmatched. 
"Perhaps, I underestimated you, Miss Shimmer." Lysandre said. "You have come a long way since we first met."
"At least someone admits that I have put my dark past aside." Sunset replied. 
"My laboratory is downstairs. But, I will lock the elevator once I enter. One of the scientists you faced earlier in your travels has an extra key. Good luck in this little quest of yours. You'll need it."
As Lysandre enters the elevator, and locks the door, Sunset and company  are now more determined to find that key and stop Team Flare. 





Pokémon Quiz

Hello, friends.  Sunset Shimmer here. Which Pokémon looks like an oyster with a pearl inside?




While looking around the facility, the crew found a room to rest their Pokémon after difficult battles.  In one room, Sunset recognized a familiar person. 
"Aliana!" Sunset called out. "We meet again."
The evil scientist turned and saw Sunset. "Hello, Sunset Shimmer. I'm prepared this time." She throws a Poké Ball. "Get her, Druddigon!"
Out popped a teal craggy creature with a red head. Sunset figured to study this creature. 
Druddigon, the Cave Pokémon.  The Pokédex said. The skin on its face is as hard as a rock. 
Sunset makes an unusual choice. "Bergmite, I choose you!"
The sight of Bergmite made Aliana laugh. "That little runt is no match for me."
"I've been training this little fellow. Don't underestimate this Pokémon."
"Yeah, right. Druddigon, Crunch!"
Druddigon charged at Bergmite with its mouth open. Sunset soon reacted. "Bergmite, Ice Ball."
Bergmite fired a ball of ice into Druddigon's mouth. It crunched down on it. But, it's mouth quickly went cold. 
"Just what I was counting on." Sunset said as she turns to her little friend. "Bergmite, use Icy Wind."
The Ice Chunk Pokémon blew a super cold wind at Druddigon. Sunset figures that Ice types are powerful against dragon types. Druddigon lost the battle, and Aliana felt shot down. Bergmite soon glowed and grew bigger. Bergmite became a big creature of ice.
"Wow!" Sunny gasped. "Bergmite evolved into Avalugg!"
Sunset checked out about this new Pokémon. Avalugg, the Iceberg Pokémon and the evolved form of Bergmite. It's big bulky body can smash any obstacle. 
"Impressive evolution." Aliana praised. "If you're looking for the elevator key, I don't have it."
This has the trio very disappointed. Soon, they found themselves in another room where they saw a familiar twosome. 
"Hey!" Sunny shouted. "Celosia and Bryony!"
The duo looked at their opponents. 
"Excellent." Celosia said. "Revenge for foiling our invasion of the Poké Ball Factory." She takes out a Poké Ball, then throws it. "Go, Drapion!"
Bryony follows her partner. "Come out, Bisharp!"
Out pops a giant scorpion type creature and an armored insect. 
Sunset points her Pokédex at the scorpion. Drapion, the Ogre Scorpion Pokémon.  It's claws and tail are highly toxic. Then, to the insect. Bisharp, the Sword Blade Pokémon. This Pokémon is very protective of its helmet blade.
"I got Drapion." Sunny said as she threw a Poké Ball. "Go, Vanillite."
Vanillite's size got the evil duo annoyed.
"This runt doesn't stand a chance." Celosia mocked. "Drapion, Poison Fang!"
Drapion opened his mouth that glowed a bright purple. Sunny counted on something like this. "Vanillite, Powder Snow."
Vanillite blew snow in the monster's mouth. Bryony reacted. "Get that ice cream cone away from my partner, Bisharp. Metal Claw!"
Bisharp's claws glowed and charged to hit Vanillite. Suddenly, it was hit by fire. Izzy had Charizard out to battle Bisharp. Sunny was grateful. She then turned her attention to Drapion whose mouth is frozen. "Finish this with Icicle Spear!"
A bunch of ice landed on Drapion. Both girls recalled their Pokémon. 
"Good news." Bryony said. "You have defeated us both."
"Bad news." Celosia said. "Neither of us has the key."
Sunset and her friends were upset again. Suddenly, Vanillite started to evolve. It became a bigger ice cream cone creature. Sunset studied this creature.
Vanillish, the Icy Snow Pokémon and the evolved form of Vanillite.  Said the Pokédex. it controls ice particles to freeze its enemies solid.
Sunny was very happy. "Congratulations, Vanillish."
The crew realized that there's one more scientist left. They soon encountered her.
"We meet again, Mabel." Sunset said. 
"Yes we do, Miss Shimmer." Mabel replied as she calls for her Pokémon. "Sic em, Weavile!"
Out pops a clawed creature with what looks like a red feathered headdress. Sunset looks at this Pokémon with her Pokédex. "A Weavile, the Sharp Claw Pokémon."
Weavile, the Sharp Claw Pokémon. The Pokédex said. Their sharp claws can cut through trees with ease.
Sunset calls for one of her aces. "Delphox, I choose you."
Delphox is ready for action. Mabel gave a command. "Weavile, Metal Claw!"
Weavile started slashing at Delphox. Sunset soon fought back. "Time for your new move, Delphox. Flamethrower!"
Delphox fired a stream of fire at Weavile. He quickly fainted. Mabel recalled her Pokémon. 
"You are a powerful opponent." Mabel said as she hands Sunset a card. "As you figured, I have the elevator key."
Sunset received the card after recalling Delphox. The girls find their way to the elevator. After using the key they entered and proceeded to go down.
"Be ready for anything." Sunset suggested.
They descended down to B1. They see somebody in a laser cage. It is a tall man with white hair. He speaks to the girls. "Young ones. Team Flare must not activate the Ultimate weapon. My tale can explain why."
The girls listen to this man's story. "A long time ago, there was a man who was friends with a Pokémon. They are real good friends. But one day, a war began. That Pokémon participated. Years later, that man mourned the loss of his beloved friend. It was then he built a machine to bring it back to life. It worked. The Pokémon returns to life. 
But, the war was still fresh in his mind. He was full of rage. So, he converted that machine into a dangerous weapon. He became a bringer of destruction that ended the war. That Pokémon who was resurrected saw what happened and left the man. So, stop these fiends before they bring destruction to this world."
Soon, Lysandre entered the room. "This is AZ. He shares the name of a king who lived 3,000 years ago. Now then, my dears. Head down one floor to see my special control room."
The girls are weary about this. But, they went to B2 anyway. When they went there, they saw Lysandre talking to a hefty man.
"The Ultimate weapon is ready, boss." The hefty man said.
"Good." Lysandre replied. "In the meantime, entertain our guests."
As Lysandre leaves, this hefty man introduced himself. "My name is Xerosic. I am a scientist who serves Team Flare. These controls are connected to the ultimate weapon."
Sunset Shimmer steps up. "You're not going to get that chance, fat boy!"
"Let's see if you can stop me." He throws a Poké Ball. "Go, Malamar!"
Out pops a scary looking creature that looks like an upside down jellyfish. The Pokédex gives some scary information. 
Malamar, the Overturning Pokémon.  The Pokédex said. It can hypnotize any living thing with itsflashing lights.
Sunset made her choice. "Go, Gabite!"
Gabite is ready. Xerosic sees the Pokémon. "Malamar, use Hypnosis."
Malamar's flashing lights started to effect Gabite. Sunset quickly reacted. "Gabite, try to use Dragon Claw."
Luckily, Gabite got enough strength to resist the hypnosis and strike Malamar. Xerosic is shocked that his Pokémon could not influence his opponent. Gabite then glowed. That means it's evolving. Gabite grew and looks like it has wings on its arms. 
"My goodness." Xerosic gasped as he recalls his Pokémon. "Your Gabite evolved into Garchomp!"
Sunset's Pokédex comes alive with information. Garchomp, the Mach Pokémon and the evolved form of Gabite. It can fly as fast as a jet.
"Awesome!" Sunset cheered. "Congratulations,  Garchomp."
"Now then, Miss Shimmer." Xerosic said. "There are two buttons. One red, one blue. One turns on the weapon, one deactivates it. Choose one and push it."
Sunset looks at the buttons. Sunny and Izzy were getting nervous. Praying  to her old mentor from Equestria, Sunset pushes the blue button.
"Congratulations, my dear." Xerosic cheered. "You chose the right button. The weapon is deactivated."
Everybody was relieved. But, they looked at the scientist with an uneasy.
"I know I promised Lysandre that things will stop if you are the right choice." Xerosic said as he takes out a remote device. "However..."
He pushes a button, and a monitor turns on. The girls see what's on the screen.
"That's Geosenge Town." Izzy realized. 
Suddenly,  everybody saw three large stones in the middle of town sink into the ground. Rising up from the grown is a crystal tower. Parts lowered to the ground. It looks like a giant crystal flower.
"YES!" Xerosic cheered. "The Ultimate weapon is ready!"
"Hey!" Sunset said angrily. "You didn't keep your promise!"
"I wouldn't let an opportunity like this slip away. Now, Lysandre can wipe the slate clean."
The girls got nervous and ran off. After getting out of the lab, Sunset went back into the Pokémon Center. Just then, Twilight Sparkle came by riding on Staraptor. 
"What's going on?" Twilight asked. 
"Lysandre's goons activated the ultimate weapon!" Sunny said hysterically. 
"It's in Geosenge Town!" Izzy added.
Sunset came out of the Pokémon Center. "Pidgeot, I choose you."
Pidgeot came out and allowed Sunset to climb on his back.
"Sunny, Izzy, climb on." Sunset said. 
"I have another suggestion." Twilight said. "Sunny can ride with me."
"Not a bad idea."
So, with Sunset and Izzy on Pidgeot and Twilight and Sunny on Staraptor, Sunset and Twilight gave the same command.  "To Geosenge Town!"
The bird Pokémon and their passengers flew off to Geosenge Town to prevent doomsday.
