Silverspoon in Manehattan

by Shadowblade93

Ponyville

Silverspoon sighed as familiar sights came into view, for example was seeing Derpy delivering mail to the station master and picking up his mail that was needing to be delivered. The silo of Sweet Apple Acres was in the distance, and a rainbow streak was arching heavenward. She heard the school bell ringing for lunch recess.
She and her friends began their trip to the castle of Twilight Sparkle and bid farewell to NiCad who trotted to town to find a place to stay.

That Evening

Silverspoon bought dinner for her and her friends and the trio walked the streets of Ponyville. Diamond Tiara now ran her own newspaper and left the gossip columns off the print...after the incident back in her grade school days. Diamond Tiara had interned instead of going to college and did well enough for herself to do what she could be seen doing.
Acid Drip and Ember Flame saw NiCad across the street and nudged Silverspoon. The trio, unobserved saw NiCad counting bits. The latter was counting bits and was very concerned about how long her bits would last.
"Hi NiCad!" Silverspoon yelled from across the street as she dodged hoof traffic.
"Hey Silvy, I heard rumor you were interviewing Twilight Sparkle."
"Yeah we are....why don't you stay with us at the castle? I couldn't help but notice you were counting your bits and as a friend I want to help."
"Think her Majesty would mind an extra guest?"
"The Princess of Friendship caring about how I help my friends? She will be thrilled!" Twilight Sparkle was thrilled to see that her printed diary had positive affects after the incident when she had the first copies put out for ponies to read and learn. NiCad made herself useful when She and Spoke had to fix the dish washer for the eight time according to Spike. The interview process went smoothly for the evening and NiCad did a video interview with Doctor Hooves from her old tablet. The tech savvy unicorn and Doctor Hooves talked about nerdy stuff and eventually ended for the night like the other interviewers and drifted off to bed.
