The next day
On this quiet morning we find the main 6 and Spike inside Rarity's boutique/home or should I say their prison cell after the changelings did some "renovations" turning it into a makeshift prison house for the group much to the disgust of the fashionista that her home/boutique was now resorted to a prison house. Not a wink of sleep happened last night after Fluttershy informed the group about how Big Mac saved her from a rape attempt and how he was dragged away to receive his punishment for attacking the changeling that almost violated her. Everyone especially Applejack was worried beyond belief wondering what sick punishment Chrysalis was subjecting the tallest stallion in town to, with him not returning last night no doubt whatever Chrysalis is doing to him is beyond brutal and twisted which made the group worry even more wondering when she's gonna release and bring him back, Fluttershy throughout the night felt guilty thinking that it was her fault since Big mac got punished for defending her but this was rebuffed by the others especially AJ who assured her that it wasn't her fault and that Big mac would be fine. They barely slept at all last night due to waiting patiently for Big mac to return all while Fluttershy continued to blame herself for the whole ordeal.
"Fluttershy it's gonna be ok darling" Rarity reassured, however the shy pegasus remained unfazed.
"But he got punished for defending me" She said. " I should have defended myself more instead of just slapping that perverted Changeling, I should have kicked him in the crotch or knocked him out with a rock or something............................"
"Fluttershy calm down" Dash jumped in. " This was NOT your fault do you understand me? Big mac saved your life even though he knew he might get punished for it, besides that Changeling deserved it.
"Amen" Applejack replied. " If I was in his shoes I would have done the same thing to dat perv partner, Big Mac is brave he never let's anyone mess with people he cares about no matter their size, besides he's a pretty tough guy he can handle a beating" Fluttershy however continued to remain worried even though she knows how tough and strong Big mac is.
"I know Applejack" She said worryingly. " But I can't help but worry, who knows whats happening to him. Plus he hasn't returned yesterday, who knows what kind of punishment she's subjecting him. I'd never forgive myself if she ends up killing him" After making that statement Applejack placed her hooves on Shy's cheeks forcing her to make eye contact with her.
"Now Shy don't and I mean DON'T say that " She said firmly. " I promise you Big Mac is gonna be ok don't go losing hope or thinking of something like that. Like I said he's a tough guy that can take a beating nothing and I mean NOTHING is gonna take him down so easily. I promise you he's gonna be ok so don't ya'll lose hope ya gotta be brave for ma big bro alright?" After Applejacks little statement Fluttershy felt a little it of courage enter her body and started to gain a little bit of confidence.
"Your right AJ thank you, I gotta be brave for Big Mac cause that's what he would want" She said earning a proud smile from the farm girl.
"That's the spirit shy" Applejack said proudly before letting out a long yawn. " Goodness sorry partner " The others then let out yawns of their own.
"Your not the only one AJ" Spike yawned.
"We have been awake half of the night waiting for news about Big Mac" Pinkie replied with a yawn of her own.
"We still have an hour before we have to get to work , we should get some sleep" Twilight said with a yawn.
"Best idea I ever heard Twi" Applejack replied with the others agreed in unison. With nothing left to say the group were quick to finally lay down to get some shut eye before the work day started, however Fluttershy stayed awake a little longer silently praying that this whole mess would be over soon and that Angel and especially Big Mac were ok before closing her eyes and falling into a deep well deserved sleep.
One hour later
"Wakey wakey !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Chrysalis cried out nearly kicking the door down instantly waking up the group with a startle.
"There is no way it's time yet" Dash grumbled.
"Oh no ya guys still got 10 minutes left" She said in a smug tone before continuing . " We just wanted to return something to you" The group stared in confusion wondering what these changeling could possibly be returning to them.
"And what would that be partner?" Applejack asked.
"I'm glad you asked AJ" She answered earning a disgusted scoff from the farmgirl after hearing the queen call her by her nickname that only her friends and family are allowed to call her, she then ushered her changeling troops outside. " Bring him in fellahs!" A couple of changelings then tossed a large red stallion into the room shocking the group as they instantly recognized the unconscious and injured Stallion laying right in front of them.
"BIG MAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The group shouted in unison and rushed over to the unconscious stallion. The poor man was in a rough state after the beating he received from his little sister and her friends yesterday. His right eye was swollen with a painful looking bluish purple color, his nose was broken and bent at a weird angle, a large gash was present across the left side of his face, various cuts and bruises were all over his body with a large one practically covering up his cutiemark, a broken leg, a few teeth were missing, piece of his right ear cut off, lip busted, and he was bleeding all over practically making a pool of blood on the ground. No doubt this was a brutal beating he was subjected too. The group especially Applejack then looked up at the queen with a look of pure fury.
"YOU HEARTLESS MONSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She screamed.
"You big bully!!!!!!!!!!!" Pinkie shouted.
"What have you done to our friend you brute?!" Rarity jumped in.
"Oh it wasn't me" Chrysalis chimed. " I wouldn't stoop so low to just beat someone to a bloody pulp as punishment" However the others just scoffed.
"Sure you wouldn't" Applejack said sarcastically.
"Then who did it then was it one of these assholes?" Twilight said pointing at the changelings that escorted Big Mac to the room.
"Hey watch your mouth!" One of em said as Chrysalis raised a hoof signalling him to calm down which he was quick to do.
" To answer your question , it wasn't me" Chrysalis continued and then pointed near the entrance. " It was them" Then suddenly the CMC's walked into the room along with the other commanders, Thorax and his older brother earning shocked looks from the group.
"No......no,no,no,no,no,nnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooo" Applejack said shockingly. " Bloom you didn't!!!!!!!"
"Sweetie belle tell me you didn't do something this brutish" Rarity said trying her hardest not to cry"
"Please tell me you girls didn't do this to Big Macintosh" Fluttershy said and unlike Rarity actually started to cry.
"Scoots I swear to god" Dash growled.
"Did you girls do this?" Pinkie said quietly.
"Oh yes" Scootaloo smirked earning even more shocked looks from the group especially their sisters, and Applejack's shocked look soon turned to anger within seconds.
"HOW COULD YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????????????" She screamed as fresh tears started to form. " HOW COULD YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT TO YOUR OWN BROTHER?!!!!!!! YOU COULD HAVE KILLED HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"He had it coming!!!!" Apple bloom replied. " You don't attack one of our troops, that's practically a death penalty"
"Yeah you mess with one of us you mess with all of us" Scootaloo replied and pounded her chest to show respect for her troops only making the girls become more furious.
"Do you hear yourselves?!" Twilight shouted. " You just attacked an innocent man and your proud of it? Do you even know the whole story?!"
" You mean how he attacked Jeff for no reason?" Sweetie belle asked.
"NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Fluttershy shouted which was rare for her. " Jeff was touching me inappropriately and I didn't like it, he even went as far as to try and force himself on me, Big Mac was just trying to save me, if anything it's Jeff you guys should have been furious about. If you don't wanna believe me just ask your queen I'm sure Big Mac told her his side of the story!!!" The girls then turned towards the changeling queen who gave them a nod signaling that it was true, however this did not change their attitudes in the slightest.
"So what if it's true?" Bloom coldy replied. " Sure what Jeff did was wrong but that's still no excuse for my brother to attack him, if this idiot had just reported Jeff's rape attempt to the queen instead of handling it himself he wouldn't be in this situation" She then walked towards her unconscious Brother and got up close to his ear . " Isn't that right big brother?" This only angered Applejack even more.
"DO YOU HEAR YOURSELVES RIGHT NOW!!!!!??????????" She shouted. " Are you guys that furious at us that you would attack your own family?! How many times do we have to say we're sorry!!!!!!!????????
"Yeah this is not you at all sweetie belle!!!!!" Rarity jumped in angrily. " I know you would never stoop to this level and attack someone like a psychopath. What would mother and father think if they saw you like this?"
"Keep mom and dad out of this rarity" Sweetie belle said coldly.
"What happened to you girls?" Twilight said. "That changeling turned you three into monsters"
"You think I turned them into monsters huh Sparkle?" Chrysalis answered. " If anything your farmer friend would know what a real monster is like"
"Applejack didn't mean to drive her sister away Chrysalis!!!" Twilight said.
"Oh I'm not talking about that " Chrysalis replied. " I'm talking about her grandmother" After mentioning the word grandmother, a look of confusion soon formed on the young farmgirls face.
"Grandmother? " She asked. " That reminds me, where's Granny Smith? I haven't seen her since we left last year."
"Come to think of it we haven't seen her around the town either" Scootaloo jumped in. " Did she escape?"
"I doubt it girls" Chrysalis answered. " Our troopers surveyed the entire town last monday, with her old age I doubt she'd be able to escape especially with the shield spell throughout the town. Plus if she was hiding somewhere they would have found her by now, but why don't you ask your big sister where Granny is? Especially since she was there when it happened" After she said that Bloom looked at her sister in confusion.
"When what happened? Applejack, what is she talking about?" Bloom asked only earning a lowered head from the older farmgirl which slightly upset her. " I asked you a question sis...........where..................is..........my....................................grandmother?" No longer able to hold it in anymore Applejack finally raised her head up and answered her sisters question all while trying to hold in her tears.
"She's dead bloom" She answered which only earned her an annoyed look from her lil sister.
"That's not funny Applejack, answer my question or else" She threatened.
"It's true Apple bloom" Twilight jumped in. " Last year Granny smith got so stressed out from work and from you being missing that it took a toll on her health. One day while she was out on the field with AJ and Big mac, she was having a hard time breathing and eventually she collapsed. By the time Dr Stable arrived at the scene it was already too late.................................Bloom Granny smith had a heart attack and didn't make it. I know it's hard to believe but it's the truth, if you don't wanna believe us, her tombstone is near the apple fields" After Twilight explained everything Bloom tried her hardest to believe that this was just a messed up story just to piss her off. But after seeing the sincerity and hurt in twilight's eyes it made it harder to believe that this story was made up. After a few moments the young farm girl got down to her knee's as fresh tears started to form.
"Mmmmmmyyyyyy ggggrrrandmmmother.................is dead?" Bloom said with a stutter while starting to weep. chrysalis then got down and brought the sad filly into a warm embrace as Scootaloo and the others looked down feeling sorry for their friend.
"There, there" chrysalis said in a motherly tone while lightly rubbing the filly's back to calm her down. " I know this is some heartbreaking news for you Bloom, but what's worse is what actually caused it" after making that statement bloom looked up at the queens face with a sniffle wondering what she meant by that.
"What do you mean your majesty?" Bloom asked with a sniff and then the large changeling proceeded to point at the farmgirl.
"Why don't you ask Applejack? After all it was her fault " chrysalis said with a gloat earning a growl from rainbow dash.
"HEY SHUT UP!!!!!" Dash replied. "Applejack had nothing to do with Granny smiths death!" However this only earned a look of guilt from the element of honesty.
"Oh really Dash?" Chrysalis replied. " After what she said to her poor grandmother I find it hard to believe that wouldn't cause a heart attack for someone of that age" The girls then stared at AJ with confusion wondering what Chrysalis meant by "AJ's words" Chrysalis noticed this and quickly came to the conclusion that the element of honesty wasn't as truthful as the others thought. " Oooooooooooohhhhhhhhh my god" She said with a giggle. " Applejack, Applejack, Applejack. For being the element of honesty I never expected you to come you with such a bullshit excuse like that especially to your own friends, If your element was a real person they'd probably facepalm at your pathetic attempt at a lie"
"You shut your mouth" Applejack shot back, however the others were unfazed and continued to stare in confusion at the farmgirl
"AJ, what is she talking about? Twilight asked. " What does she mean by "what you said to Granny smith"?"
"Yes AJ what am I talking about?" She asked with a smug grin. " You seem to have forgotten that prior to the takeover that I sent some of my troops to scoop the entire town of Ponyville and they told me everything and I mean EVERYTHING. Now go on element of Honesty, tell........the.........................truth" After hearing the queens rambling Applejack felt herself shrink down as she found herself surrounded by numerous and anxious looks of confusion with everyone wondering what chrysalis was talking about and waiting for her answer. No longer able to hold in this dark secret any longer Applejack took a deep breath before speaking as fresh tears started to form.
"Bloom" She began . " Ever since you guys ran away things were a living hell in the farm. Me and Big Mac constantly blamed ourselves for practically driving you guys out of town, but we weren't the only ones. Throughout these last four months Granny smith showed true disappointment to us for our harsh treatment towards you guys that she subjected us to extra chores as punishment and even forbid us from having breaks or breathers without permission. There were some nights where she even made us go to bed without dinner" As Applejack spoke the others couldn't help but feel sorry for the farmgirl, when she told them about the punishment Granny smith subjected her and Big mac too they didn't think she would be so cruel towards her own grandchildren. " Whats worse is she would also find times to remind us about what horrible siblings we were to you and how Ma and Pa would have been disappointed at us if they were alive and found out what we did. Throughout these last four months I tried my hardest to hold in my anxiety and control my reaction out of fear of saying something that I'll regret to my grandmother, but that all changed one day. After Granny smith caught me and Big Mac taking a break to talk to my boyfriend caramel she got furious and started to reprimand us for taking a breather without her permission, before I knew it an argument started and I tried so hard to hold in my anger, but when she mentioned that me and the others didn't deserve the elements of harmony and that ma folks would have agreed with her too a part of me finally snapped and I just up and told her to shut up and even went as far as to call her an old had with a snarl in my face, I shouted and fought back at her for a good long minute which ended after I gave a one final shut up straight to her face. After my outburst Granny got red with fury and was about ready to fight back, but as she was about to call em a brat she ended up losing her will to breath and was coughing violently after a few seconds she collapsed on the ground and we rushed to her side. Caramel went to get his uncle to help her, but by the time Dr Stable arrived there was nothing they could do......................................Granny Smith died from a heart attack after I yelled at her"
After finishing her story the entire group stared in shock at the fact that Applejack said something that cruel to her own grandmother regardless of how angry she was after 4 month of abuse.
"Applejack" Fluttershy began quietly. " You said something that cruel to your grandmother?"
"And your the one who caused her heart attack?" Pinkie said as Dash and Rarity Jumped in.
"Darling how could you?!" Rarity replied.
"That is way to far even for me!" Dash jumped in. " I can't believe this AJ how could you be so heartless?!"
"Guys calm down!!!!" Twilight jumped in. " I'm sure Applejack didn't mean........................................
"You killed my grandmother?" Apple bloom interrupted and then started to advance towards her sister after hearing this devastated news all while Applejack remained perfectly still not even bothering to say a word out of shame. But Apple bloom on the other hand found herself getting more and more angry at the older mare as a snarl began to form.
"YOU KILLED MY GRANDMOTHER??????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Bloom roared and then charged towards the mare ready to do to her what she did to Big mac yesterday, but before she could reach her snails and Silver spoon rushed forward and restrained her from going any further.
"Bloom stop!!!!" Snails shouted as she struggled.
"Let me go!!!!!! I'll kill her, I'll kill HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Bloom shouted as she continued to struggle.
"Bloom calm down please!!!" Silver spoon replied continuing to restrain the farmgirl.
"Let me go, let me go, let..................me..................GGGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Apple bloom roared as she continued to struggle. After a minute the farm filly finally calmed down and collapsed on the floor crying her eyes out, Scootaloo and Sweetie belle then rushed over to comfort their friend who was quick to cry on each of their shoulders while Chrysalis looked on to the mane 6 in amusement .
"Ouch" She gloated. " that is harsh even for you Applejack , hehe and I thought i was evil but you my friend are another story. But hey, at least you know how your sister felt when your harsh words hurt her as well now .....................don't ya?" Applejack didn't even bother to fight back and instead walked away from the entire group and collapsed on a corner in the room covering her tearful face with her hooves.
"Now bloom" Chrysalis said while placing a remorseful hoof on the sad fillies shoulder. " I get that your furious at your sister, but i cant' have you attacking her (yet) I need her to put in some extra effort in the kitchen today, but I promise ya later tonight you'll get a chance to rightfully punish your sister for killing your grandmother" After her statement Bloom calmed down slightly and began to wipe her tears away but her anger still visible.
"Yes your majesty" She said.
"Good girl" Chrysalis replied with a smile. " now come along you all we got a long day ahead of us, and as for the rest of you, you got a long day ahead of you. You all got 5 minutes and I expect ya at your respected Jobs by then lest you wanna end up like musclehead over there" With nothing left to say the queen then left the Boutique prison along with the others but not before bloom turned around to look at her sister cradled in sadness int he corner of the room.
"Ya better get comfy big sis" She said coldy. " Cause tonight I'm gonna make sure you'll never be able to buck another apple tree again" After that everyone left the room leaving the Mane 6 and Spike alone as Fluttershy and the others checked on the unconscious Big Macintosh while a depressed and sad Applejack remained planted on the corner of the room.
No doubt this was gonna be a long and stressful day.
Outside the boutique the group made their way back toward town hall all except Thorax who stayed in place with a glum look on his face. Pharynx noticed this and made a face ushering Chrysalis and the others to go on ahead and that they'll catch up soon. Chrysalis then nodded in agreement as they continued to make their way to town hall, after watching them leave he then walked up to his little brother to find out what was the matter.
"Bro what's wrong with you?" He asked . " Get moving we got a busy day today remember?"
"This is too much" Thorax said quietly earning a raised brow from his older brother.
"What do you mean? " Pharynx asked.
"This is too much big bro!!!!!!!" Thorax shouted while finally looking up as fresh tears started to form. " I never signed up for this this is too much, were hurting innocent people Pharynx don't you understand that?! When I wanted to get away from our horrible life this isn't what I wanted, this queens got us doing all sorts of sick twisted stuff just to please her and look what's happened? An innocent stallion is laying unconscious on the floor in the boutique with life threatening injuries that not one but three of our commanders caused due to the queens orders. i don't want this anymore Pharynx I don't wanna hurt innocent ponies or take over kingdoms this is downright ...................................EVIL" With nothing left to say Thorax just balled his eyes out as his older brother watched on with a look of sympathy, after a few seconds he placed is hoofs onto his lil bro's shoulders causing him to stop crying for a second and look his brother straight in the eye.
"Thorax" He began trying his hardest to sound as comforting as possible. " I get it bro I really do, listen I'm not into this lifestyle myself and seeing all this mayhem makes me sick to my stomach as well but what other choice do we have? Mom and dad treated us like garbage ever since we were little, we were practically living in hell at that house. When Chrysalis found us one day when we finally escaped from those horrible people and recruited us this was our safe haven. Sure she's had us do some unspeakable acts just to get by but other choice do we have? You know how are people were judged racially and verbally throughout the years right? These ponies would never except us into their society but at least with Chrysalis we feel welcome especially since we're surrounded by our own people. So just trust me ok? I know it's hard but I won't let anything happen to you. I know I don't say this as much........................................but I love you little bro, so just trust me ok?" After making his statement Thorax sniffed and began to wipe his tears and then quietly nodded at his brother.
"Ok big bro, I trust you" He said earning a smile from Pharynx.
"Thank you little Thorax" He said and then collected his little brother into a warm embrace which Thorax was hesitant at first but after a few seconds quickly returned the hug as fresh tears started to form in the poor mans eyes.
An hour later
Outside the Everfree forest we find a couple of Stallions making their way towards the town after a long trek from their hometown to ponyville. The two sibling breathed a sigh of relief with their destination only a mile away, with confidence in each of their minds they had one priority for their return to this town after their last visit..............................reconciliations. After their product and scamming mishaps the first two times they stepped foot into this town, the twins had a while to think long and hard about their recent actions before realizing the consequences and the poor ponies that they hurt or bribed due to their horrible products especially the apple family. Fear came to their minds about stepping foot in town, would the citizens hear them out or drive them out of town? Whatever the outcome the brothers would not rest until they made up for everything that they've done to others.
These were the Flim Flam Brothers
"Well" Flam said. " We're finally here bro"
" Indeed bro" Flim replied.
"Are you sure this is a good Idea?" Flam asked. " Don't get me wrong I feel just as bad about our recent actions but what makes you think Ponyville hell every single person we scammed will forgive us?"
"I Know Flam" Flim replied. " But listen if we're going to start fresh with a clean slate, the first thing is to make amends and to apologize to someone that you've hurt, even if everyone especially Applejack don't forgive us right away the least we can do is apologize and promise to make it up to everyone no matter how angry they are" Flam remained uncertain after hearing his twins statement but he knew that he was right, they couldn't run away from their problems forever and had to face it sooner or later.
"Yeah i guess your right bro, but still................................" Before he could continue Flim stopped him.
"I know bro but trust me, whatever happens I have your back all the way ok ?" Flim said earning him a smile from his twin.
"Thanks bro" Flam said.
"No prob bro" Flim replied. " Now come on we're almost there" with nothing left to say the twins then proceeded through the Everfree forest until Ponyville view was finally over the horizon, however the brothers stared in shock at the view of the town and found that Ponyville didn't look the same since their last visit. The town was now trapped inside a massive shield spell, The houses and buildings were converted to makeshift prison cells, and hundred's of changelings loomed over the entire town while the citizens were worked as prisoners, no doubt this was a horrendous sight to behold for the two brothers.
"What the hell!!!!!??????" Flam cried out. " What the hell happened to Ponyville? Why is there a massive shield spell across the town, why does it look like a prison camp, and why are their changelings down there?!"
"If ima take a guess bro, I think the entire town was taken over by those changelings" Flim said with a lucky guess.
"Well I'm not gonna stay here and get captured too" Flam said slightly scared. " Let's get out of here we can apologize another time!" Flam then began to walk away however he turned around to find that his brother was planted on the spot and wouldn't move. " Bro come on let's get out of here!!!"
"No" Flim said earning a shocked look from his brother.
"What?!" Flam replied.
"We can't just leave Bro" Flim said bravely. " Those ponies down there are in trouble we can't just leave them, who know's what those changelings are doing to them?"
"We can call for help on our way back now let's go!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Flam shouted however Flim remained still.
"No bro I'm not running away anymore" Flim said defiantly. " These ponies are in trouble with no way to the outside world, we can't just stand here and runaway as the citizens down there are enslaved and trapped by those terrible creatures. I'm done being an asshole It's high time I redeem myself from my scamming ways and help people, those guys need help and right now you and I are the only ones who can help, now are you with me or not?"
"We're the only one's? Are you senile?!" Flam shouted. " You know damn well we don't stand a chance against an army of changelings, plus there's other more powerful beings who can deal with a bunch of changelings" However he soon found himself facing his brother making a face mixed with defiance and bravery, knowing that his brother wasn't gonna budge Flam finally caved in. " Fine I'm in" earning a smile from his twin.
"Thank you bro" Flim said. " Now let's go Ponyville needs us" He the made his way down the earthly road towards the town and after a moment of hesitation his brother soon followed behind.
"This moron's gonna get me killed one of these days" He signed as the two of them made their way towards the town entrance. After a short trek the brothers finally arrived at the entrance but took a moment to silently look around to see if the coast was clear of any changelings who could be guarding the entrance, after realizing that the coast was clear they made their way towards the entrance but found that it was hit by the massive shield spell as well.
"Well, we made it" flam said and then placed his hoof onto the magic shield. " But how do we get inside?"
"Hmmmmmmmm" Flim thought. " Stay back" Flim then concentrated a counter spell and then shot a magic beam toward the shield spell but it only bounced off and ricocheted towards the brothers who were quick to duck and cover as the beam hit a nearby tree.
"Damn it!" Flim said in frustration. " Looks like this shield spell is magic proof"
"So now what genius?" Flam asked. " We cant blast through the shield, what do you think we should do now? Dig and Tunnel our way to the town?"
"No that'll take too long" Flim replied while rubbing his chin in a thinking position while his brother looked on in annoyance.
"I was kidding" He said.
"Wait" Flim said. " Didn't that Fluttershy girl once say that the sewer system in town also leads towards the forest?"
"Yeah i guess" Flam said. " Wait don't tell me your thinking about using the sewer system to get inside the town?"
"Well right now it's our only way to get into town bro, so unless you know teleportation magic I say this is our only other option" Flim replied.
"How do we even find it then?" Flam asked as Flim took a moment to find the towns sewer hole cover and soon spotted it at the center of town and proceeded to point at it.
"Hmmmmmmmmmmmm" He thought. If the sewer drain is located at the center of town and that there are multiple drains with the closest one near the Everfree forest" He then made a little trail with his hoof. " Than that means it should be connected somewhere over.............................................There!!!" He then pointed at the nearest depths of the Everfree taking a wild guess that that's where the nearest sewer whole is at that area. " Let's go no time to lose" and then made his way towards the pointed destination.
"Hey wait up!" Flam shouted and then followed his twin to their respected destination. after a short trek the duo found themselves in an open clearing of the forest which housed a small workers hut along with one of the sewer hole covers that lead into town square, they then walked over and surveyed the area.
"Who builds a sewer hole in the middle of a forest?" Flam asked.
"I don't know I didn't build the town" Flim asked in annoyance. " Well there's no time to lose, let's go" He was about to open the sewer hole until he was stopped by his brother.
"Hold on" Flam said. " Don't you think it might be a little risky to go out in broad daylight?" Flim then thought for a moment and knew that his brother was right.
"You right Flam, it is too risky" He replied. " Lets wait until it gets dark then we'll be inconspicuous when we bust the citizens out of there"
"Sounds like a plan" Flam said. " We can camp out inside that workers hut until nighttime, in the mean time we can come up with a strategy once we're inside the town" Flim then nodded in agreement as the two brothers went inside the workers hut awaiting for the night to arrive.
